Edna and her team of caregivers took care of my mother for almost 2 years. I started just needing some weekday help and found her team of caregivers so attentive that we kept increasing care for my mother. My mother had high standards and if things were amiss Edna made sure that we found the right match in a caregiver- even through covid I knew my mother was well taken care of if I could not get to her. I saw my mum flourish under their care and I can honestly say they they helped improve her outlook and made her last years very happy Years .

Edna and caregiver Ashley have provided my dad with amazing, diligent, loving care. I do not EVER have to worry about whether they will pick him up for his dialysis appointments. Home Care Assistance from South Tampa is great! The caregiver (Cynthia Padilla) treats him like he is part of her family. The care and concern that she shows is genuine. My father has dementia and can be difficult at times. Cynthia has a lot of patience with him; knows how to calm him; and keeps him happy – as well as assisting him with his daily needs. The owner, Edna, has gone to great lengths to accommodate the schedule changes and type of care my father needs as his dementia progresses. She truly cares about the customers as well as her employees. I know this agency treats their employees fairly and with respect because they speak highly of Edna and the agency. My previous experience with another agency was a good caregiver that unfortunately wasn’t happy with the agency. When the employees are not happy, they don’t stick around. That resulted in having to change caregivers too frequently. My father doesn’t adapt well to changes in his routine. I take comfort in knowing that my caregiver is happy working for Home Care Assistance. The quality of care provided by Home Care Assistance has proven to be something I know I can count on for now and in the future as my father’s needs change.

The Legacy Care At Home and Edna and her team at have been a godsend for my mom and I. My mom suffers from dementia. I was in desperate need for some assistance in caring for my mom. After an initial hiccup, Edna provided the most caring, compassionate caregiver in Mildred Lizardo. My mom adores her! She takes my mom on daily walks and bathes her. She gives her a massage and prepares her clothes. She cleans her room, washes her clothes. My mom loves her cooking too! I’m a little envious. For what I am most grateful is the patience and understanding on how she treats her. Mildred really listens to her and now my mom has an additional person in her life to confide in.
