When I first moved to Ky I was afraid I couldn’t get the pain management I was used to in Va, well Dr Nair is the best pain management Dr I have had. When he told me I needed a pain medication infusion pump I was all for it because I was tired of the morphine pills and oxycodone and the looks you get. The pain medication pump works great and is way better than pills that have so many side effects. Thank you Kentuckiana Pain Specialists!

I haven’t even began treatment yet, I had a consult last week and to say impressed is an understatement. Dr. Naïr sat and talked with me for over an hour. We discussed in detail my issue and talked about multiple options. Even his assistant sat and talked with me and showed genuine concern and care for me. I came to see Dr. Nair in March 2020. I was sent to him because I suffered nerve damage in my left arm from a surgery I had 3 years ago. I’ve been in none stop pain since. The first thing he said to me was, “I can’t believe these other doctors let you suffer for so long!”. From day 1 he had a treatment plan for me. He knew I would benefit from a stimulator. Unfortunately, COVID-19 hit and that did slow things down through no fault of his own. After things opened back up I was able to get my trial and the affects were immediate! I noticed a HUGE difference in those 3 days! After it was taken out, I couldn’t wait to get the permanent one in! My insurance has been the one to hold up my procedure, but Dr. Nair personally called me to reassure me that he is working on it! Until that time he is doing what he can to keep me comfortable which I really appreciate. I’m so excited to get my stimulator and to keep working with this great doctor to get my life back to normal. Thank you Dr. Nair for continuing to help and advocate for me!

**I had a pain pump installed by Dr. Nair. March 22,2021. The Dr, surgical staff, nurses are wonderful. The front desk girl are top notch. Didnt wait but maybe a couple min before being seen for an office visit Post and pre op recovery were great. Love this group. It's a 2.5 hr drive (1 way) for us but definitely worth it if you want a dr that listens and answers all questions you may have. They are very professional, get you in quick, listen to concerns, very family like..unlike other dr offices. Highly recommended.

I love dr. Nair I love his practice his waiting room couches somewhat comfortable but highly uncomfortable! I would say if you need to find a way to leave your pain but without going through surgery or I want someone to tell you what they can do for you straight no sugarcoating it you don't want a doctor to baby you you want a doctor to tell you how it is then he's the man you looking for. I've done a few injections with him I had a pain pump put in a new one I love the pain pump I have if you're looking to replace your pain pump go see him he'll do it himself and not have someone else he's good at what is that so is this practice they know what they're doing I would say better than what other people are.

Dr. Nair, his office staff and surgical staff are AWESOME and AMAZING!! I have been dealing with pain since 1997 and after 2 spinal fusions the pain improved but a whole set of problems and pains started. Dr. Nair suggested the pain pump. I had Medtronic pump install in 2018 and a year later the pump was recalled. They gave me many opportunities and I decided to go with a new pump. I had surgery Wednesday and so far so good. I want to THANK Dr. Nair and his group for everything.

I'm in the process of getting the pain pump implant and we had a little bump in the beginning but Amber, Dr. Nair MA is just wonderful to work with she takes the time out to explain everything to me, and is by far Exceeding my expectations!!! And to Dr. Nair he is wonderful 👏 ❤ he actually sits down and explains everything and gives you different treatment plans options and actually gives you the time to think it over!!! If I could see him as a doctor for all my health problems I would LOL!!! The front office Staff is just as wonderful 👏 I can't leave them out!! Thank y'all 💓 I can actually see and end to in sight. DR. NAIR is professional and extremely knowledgeable. His expertise is in Pain Management, and he concentrates on finding a solution to your pain. This includes exploring where the pain is coming from. My quality of life has improved greatly since changing Doctor offices. He offers a wide variety of treatment options. Thankfully he is able to provide the majority of options in his office or next door at the surgery center. My cost has decreased greatly as I dont have huge hospital copays. Dr. Nair cares about his patients and his bedside manner is excellent.

I have been going to Dr. NAIR for almost 16 months. Has always been great service. I was under another Doctor for over 16 years, only to be in pain for that amount of time. First time I saw Dr. NAIR, he asked me if I wanted to treat the pain or get rid of it. I said get rid of it. And that is what he did. I have never felt so good in the last 20 years. He is by for the best Docter I have ever had. To show how compassionate he is, my wife had a stoke in Sept. 2018 . I had an appointment for a pump refill. I called his office, explained the problem, got there early and was rushed in and out so I could get back to the University Hospital where my wife was. I love the man and his staff and can,t say enough good things about them . I am a retired MSGT from the Air Force and would recommend that any Veteran with pain problems go to him before the V.A.

Dr. Nair did a great job explaining what was wrong in my neck and why I was in such pain. He recommended a cervical epidural based on the other things I had already tried. The 1st cervical epidural helped relieve my pain immensely with the first 48 hours following the procedure. I am pleased with the outcome. Hopefully I will continue to feel better.

I have been a patient here for over 3 years. I had seen several pain management doctors before Dr. Nair. I wished I had started here. I was in a severe car accident leaving me in debilitating pain. He started me on pills and epidurals...finally got approval from Passport for a pain pump. The pump from Medtronic is WONDERFUL!!! I'm off all the pills, it delivers a very low dose of medication straight into my spinal system, and it has let me start to be more independent than I have been in years. When I over do it, I have a button for break through pain. Which quickly gets my pain back under control. I trust him so much that I am now bringing my teenage daughter to him for treatment of chronic migraines from Chairai Malformation. He's listened to her life story just by having a great bedside manner. After meeting her and talking to her, he offered to bring her on. I hope she gets the same great relief I have.

I have been going to Dr. Nair for many years, very knowledgeable, caring, good bedside manner. Sadly average wait time is always a minimum of 45 minutes past scheduled appointment time. Not to mention an hour drive each way from Fort Knox referrals. Great service once seen. Sure wish He was much closer.

After 13 years of these horrible post craniotomy headaches, I have found a pain specialist who finally listened to me! I had multiple pages of my medical history for him and he took the time to read them. He then prescribed me a compound of ketamine and gabapentine cream to rub on my supraorbital nerve. It took a few weeks but my headaches have vanished! No pills, injections, or ablations needed! I have been to countless physicians over the years in the neuro and pain fields but none of them have helped as much as my new pain specialist in just one visit! This has been a major relief for me and my family. I pray that someone else out there who suffers from post craniotomy headaches will read this and speak to their doctor about what success I had and be able to try it. Thank You Dr. Nair!

2015 I fell from a fire engine landing on my feet during a live fire training event. I ruptured every disc from L2 down amongst other spinal injuries and nerve damage. Of course physical therapy and epidural injections were tried. I had appointments with Neuro surgeons, physical therapy doctors and hefty regiment of medications. I was sent to a orthopedic surgeon who ordered a Mylogram that showed the damage was as bad as it gets without being paralyzed. The Orthopedic Doctor advised against fusion. So I asked my pain management doctor if I would be a candidate for a spinal stimulator. He recommended Doctor Nair, my first visit with Doc Nair was outstanding. He took the time to explain everything, he answered every question my wife and I had. He looked me in the eyes and told me not to worry that I wouldn't have to live with pain the rest of my life as well as being unable to do the profession I love so much. I had my staples removed today from my spinal stimulator placement. I love this device, it has taken away 65% of my pain away. Thank you Dr. Nair! His office staff are outstanding and Dr. Nair uses Medtronic devices. I cannot say enough about the medtronic representatives. If you're looking for a Doctor that actually cares about his patients this is the one you want.

Dr. Ajith Nair is the best surgeon for pain that I have ever experienced! I was a victim of a botched Hysterectomy. The doctor left a sucture in my pudendal nerve. (The motor sensory nerve). When other physcians gave up on me, I was left devastated, disgusted and debilitated. I was blocked by Army surgeons who made decisions on my behalf not to go forward to address the pain in my body. I could barely walk. I could barely stand up without pain rivoting through my entire body. Dr. Ajith Nair took the time to listen and address each issue as He determined the best course of action. He prescribed solutions and now I am able to monitor and control my pain. Dr. Nair is awesome!!! I've told everyone that I know to come there for their needs! Put a pump in me and would never change it best thing I've done to control my pain no more pills that dont work! Thank You Dr. Nair for everything need more pain specialist like him that try to help! If someone has something negative to say most likely they are one of the ones that has contributed to this "opioid epidemic" that makes it hard for people like me that actually have something wrong, instead of wanting to get high or sell them to kids and others that dont need them and that over dose! So if you have been booted or given a hard time it's cause you need rehab and most likely need to go to Hollywood and try to become an actor or actress for acting like there's something wrong with you! I really don't know where to start from i had been to a few different clinic for my pain and they all just wanted to just give me pills after pills and shot after shot that really wasn't helping me sure the pills helped but i didn't want to be stuck taking pain pills for the rest of my life. They weren't listening to me.so when i found Doctor Neir my hold life changed, i found the doctor that listen to what I had to say about my pain and we came up with the right solution to help me we decided to go with the pump after he seen that the shots weren't helping that I had already been through them and they still wasn't doing anything. My name is Dawn. My pain for the first time in years managed. I tylically spend 2 to 3 weeks a year in bed unable to function. Aince i have been treated for my neck and back, i have not been off work except for dr. Appointments. I feel like a whole new peraon. He is still working on issues with my neck and shoulders. The ONLY drawbacks I have had with this amazing group is very long wait times (1st appointment over 3 hours, next 2 hours 15 min, last/third was a little better at just over 2 hours. Other than long wait periods, I cannot express how satisfied and happy I am.with my initial appointment to where I am.now and my treatment plan going forward. Dr. Nair and his Nurse are absolutely amazing! I look forward to reaping the benefits of after a decade of searching, to finally getting the care I need and deserve. I met Dr. Nair 9 years ago. I had been to other doctors and had been on various narcotics to a pretty strong degree- and I still hurt. I chose to have Dr. Nair place a Medtronic pain pump with the bolus PTM. My pain is much improved and I am off all other narcotics. Dr. Nair is very knowledgeable in medicine as a whole. I suffer from a rare connective tissue disease and he knew what it was; he was also the first doctor to suggest my blood pressure was adrenal related. He is always there with an encouraging word. I appreciate him for keeping me mobile, available for my family, and basically giving me my life back.
