Just met Dr. Sanders yesterday and had one of best doctor/patient experiences in my life. Hands down, the best doctor I interacted with about my broken clavicle and open reduction surgery. Dr. Sanders was extremely thorough by asking tons of questions and educated me while diagnosing my health issues. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sanders was recommended by my primary physician. She said if he says you need surgery, then you need surgery. He doesn't like to perform surgery unless it's absolutely necessary. He will not tell you what to do, but give you options and let you choose. If you ask him what he would recommend, he will give you your options again. His options are his recommendations. He doesn't pressure you one way or another. If you elect surgery, you will be glad you used Dr. Sanders. He is a very skilled orthopedic.

I needed a specialist for my hips and knees because I have bad arthritis. Dr. Sander’s was very explanatory and straight to the point, no need for explanations just a simple question and simple short answers were needed to find out what was needed for my next step. He advised me of my options for treatment and we went from there. The only down fall, which happens at most doctors these days (not sure why), is that when you arrive on time for your appointment it can take up to an hour before going back and then another 15-30 back in the room before you see him. So if it’s that busy then maybe there over booking and need better management. But as for a doctor he is excellent.

Never one to pressure you to do anything, just gives his recommendations, and it’s up to you to make the decision. I'm 83. My knee was in pain. I thought to myself, "I'm going windup being a cripple if I don't get some help." Dr. Sanders evaluated my situation, gave my knee an injection that was practically painless and, as I walked back to my car, I realized that my knee pain was gone. It should be noted that it was a day of record breaking heat in Las Vegas so I was walking pretty quickly for the first time in a few weeks. My injection was around 11 am. The temperature peaked at 116 degrees in the afternoon. That afternoon, about 6 o'clock, I saw that the heat had caused a catastrophe in my garage. A new gallon of weed-killer had developed a leak at bottom of the container and was quickly eating away the concrete floor. Hot as it was, it had to taken care of urgently. My wife and I worked together to clean the mess up, sweat pouring off of us. So hot! You must know that I could never have done that without the injection that Dr. Sanders gave me that morning.

Dr. Sanders is an amazing surgeon! A few years ago I ended up in the Trauma Center as the result of an accident with a femur that was fractured in 2 places. Dr. Sanders put me back together well. My leg completely healed, I have regained all my strength and flexibility (through a lot of hard work and effort). I'm as good a new. He is smart, direct and a masterful surgeon at fixing the most difficult injuries. He's #1 in my book.

I was sent to Dr Sanders through workers Comp. This after seeing 4 other doctors who could not find the source of my chronic pain.... including one doctor who actually closed my claim. This same doctor had me sit 50 min in an exam room after saying to his staff " oh, it's a workers Comp? I was near tears" Needless to say I am beyond happy that at my first appointment with Dr Sanders he pretty much asked me the right questions about location of pain. Level of pain. And my current abilities and disabilities..... I am now being treated by excellent PTs and feel we are going in the right direction - FINALLY! Now, he does have a bit of a direct approach, but I want a serious doctor to fix me- I'll save the warm fuzzy feelings for after I'm better.

Dr. Sanders is by far the best Orthopedic surgeon/Dr in town, and unfortunely I've had to see a few but he will definetly be the last. Other doctors have just thrown in the towel and basically said I'm going to have to live with the pain in my leg. Dr. Sanders worked with me for months and said he wouldn't stop until he figured it out. He's very intelligent, highly skilled, has a great bed side manner and will spend all the time you need answering all your questions, he makes you feel like you are his only patient.
