Ellen DeardenDr. Wailia, and the whole team were so very professional, yet friendly. They made me feel very comfortable and relaxed prior to my Mohs procedure. She came in and spent time explaining everything, offering options, and asking if I had any questions. She made things very easier to understand. She started on time, and my procedure was done before I knew it!

Andres KrawiecI’ve been dealing with basal cell carcinomas and squamous cell carcinomas (two very basic types of skin cancer) for a few years now, due to immunosuppressant medications to treat Crohn’s disease. Have had a number of doctors take care of the issue while living in Los Angeles, and then started seeing Dr. Walia when I moved to New Orleans. Dr. Walia and her team are amazing! Best Dermatology/surgeon dr. and team I’ve had work on me in the 4 years and 8 procedures I’ve had. Wish I could post photos to show the difference in results/scarring between the surgeries performed by Dr. Walia vs. the previous ones I’ve had done. Her work is so clean, the stitching so perfect, that you can barely see any scarring after the fact! (Unlike some of the previous procedures I had to have done. ) And, to top that, she is an incredibly sweet human being. Truly makes you feel like you’re all that matters while in surgery. And this goes for her whole team. Definitely the people you want next to you while dealing with something so stressful. It may be considered simpler to treat, as it’s a very slow growing cancer. But… it’s still a cancer. And that’s not a word anyone takes lightly. And the doctor and her team make you feel so at home and relaxed, you might forget what you’re going through! Can’t think of what more you could ask for! Thank you Dr. Walia! And please thank your team for me!
