How often are you honestly excited about a doctor appointment?? I am every time I see Dr. Tareen and her staff! Their compassion is exceptional. Dr. Tareen has this brilliant energy that relaxes me, always a smile and she truly is an expert beyond measure. I feel so light and positive after each appointment. My dermatologist for life, oh yes! She makes me feel less like a patient and more like a valued friend! Always a comfortable and professional experience in her office! 5 stars is not enough! ⭐ x 1000!!

I had my first visit to Tareen Dermatology in Monticello today. It was a 5 star experience all around. From my first phone call until I left the office it was excellent. Everyone was welcoming, efficient, knowledgeable, kind, and personable. Dr. Eckert and Robin were a good team. My former dermatologist of 30 years retired and I was concerned about finding a replacement. No more worries! I would recommend this terrific team to anyone needing a dermatology clinic. I have had 4 laser tattoo removal sessions with Jen. She has been amazing to work with! I had no idea how the process worked at first but she explained everything. Yes, it is painful but she made sure to make it as comfortable as possible. She's very efficient, gentle and considerate. It was a pretty big piece to remove but she worked her magic. 100% satisfied! Beautiful and clean facility.

I had cancer on my nose and Jamie took such good care of me! I went in for 20 radiation treatments and just went back for a follow up. Very happy to say it went very well! I was a little nervous about going through radiation treatments but Jamie was very positive and made me feel comfortable and at ease during the whole process!

At 36 my neck is starting to show the effects of years of me looking down at my phone and poor posture. I received dysport to my platysmal bands from Dr. Tareen and it was surprisingly relaxing and enjoyable. Brooke and Kieri assisted in making me comfortable and Dr. Tareen made me feel like her only patient with her very attentive care and kind words. It's undeniable that she cares deeply for her patients and her bedside manner makes her feel like a friend you've known for years. The injections felt no different than the pen she marked me with. I appreciated the time she spent explaining where she would be injecting and being able to see how strong my bands had gotten. My neck and jawline look AWESOME! I hate needles but am definitely looking forward to being treated by her and her amazing staff again. My expectations were greatly exceeded and pricing is very standard which is surprising because the value in being treated by such a skilled board certified dermatologist is something I'd pay more for. Her skincare line is also beautiful as well as very effective and definitely worth checking out/getting staff recommendations before you leave!

I recently got under-eye filler at Tareen Dermatology and absolutely love the results! Dr. Tareen and her staff are great at making the appointment stress-free and fun. Dr. Tareen performed the injections quickly and with amazing accuracy to give me the best look. My under-eye circles are much lighter and I look more awake after this filler treatment. I would definitely recommend this treatment at this clinic to anyone and I will be back in the future :)

From the moment you walk into the clinic, you are being taken care of. The front desk is friendly and fast. The two appointments I've had, I only had to wait less than five minutes. From there, the staff is nothing short of amazing. Dr. Tareen and Kelsey are so kind, thorough in explaining what they're doing all while making you feel comfortable. One of the assistants even took the time to write down the skincare routine for me just in case I might forget. They're also a one-stop shop so you don't have to run to your pharmacy after. I highly recommend Tareen Dermatology. I’ve been going there for almost a year. In particular, I highly recommend and primarily work with PA Stephanie Weinberger and medical assistant Abby G. They are an excellent team. Abby is always welcoming, friendly, and thorough. She even remembers how I take my coffee :) Stephanie takes time to listen to my concerns and work out a plan. She has an excellent “bedside manner” and remembers life details about her patients. She is smart, patient and determined to find the right solution no matter how long it takes. It's also so fast and easy to make an appointment, not like other dermatology offices where you have to schedule a visit 6-8 months in advance. Just had my first experience at Tareen Dermatology - and it was wonderful! Dr. Tareen and all of her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. As someone who has anxiety about her skin issues, they were the perfect amount of informative, while also being understanding and warm. I went in to address some concerns about my skin, including **acne, inflammation, redness, etc. They listened to my concerns and came up with a game plan for how to tackle it. Even though it was my first time visiting, I felt as if they really cared about my skin and what I need! I'm white. Super duper white. So white that I have a family dermatologist, and that dermatologist is Dr. Tareen. Everyone in my family tries to be careful, but everyone in my family is just so pale that we are at incredibly risk for skin cancer. And as an outdoorsy, travel-loving set of people (see the pic of me & my spouse on a wonderful adventure at Mount Diablo in California!), it's important that our white, white skin has the care of a trusted dermatologist. Dr. Tareen has handled my older family members' carcinomas for years, making objectively stressful chronic disease management easy (and even fun!). I'm now old enough to start my own yearly preventative derm care, and I genuinely love my visits with Dr. Tareen! She herself is friendly, warm, & professional, and she has staffed her clinic with amazing young people whom she mentors on their medical careers. I enthusiastically recommend her practice, especially if you're super duper white like me! But seriously, I can't recommend her enough for anyone looking for a first class dermatologist.

Ive been coming to the Roseville clinic for over a year now for psoriasis treatment and it’s been life changing. When I walk up the stairs I feel like Cheers where everyone knows my name. The front desk staff is always chipper throughout the day. I’ve enjoyed meeting with Dr Kelsey and Megan - they’re always on time and respectful of my questions and requests. The real gem of the staff though is getting to spend time with Anjani! She’s always so upbeat, kind and attentive to my treatment plan. I’m so thankful we have such an amazing clinic in our area!

I am a long time cosmetic patient of Dr. Tareen. Ever since my early 20’s I had been incredibly self conscious of my under eye bags and discoloration. I would spend hundreds of dollars on creams that didn’t work, covering them with expensive concealers, and even tried edited them out of photos. I finally made the decision to try under eye filler. Already being a patient of Dr. Tareen and knowing her precision and expertise, she was the only one I would trust with such a delicate cosmetic procedure in such a sensitive area. Her staff made me feel completely at ease (needles have always been a fear of mine since I was a child) and made sure the entire process was completely painless. I received my under eye filler nearly a year ago and am still completely satisfied with their appearance. Attached are two photos. The first photo is from 2018 and the second is from 2022.

Tareen Dermatology is the best dermatology clinic in MN! The staff are super friendly and helpful! They have a in-clinic dispensary, making it super fast and efficient to obtain any prescriptions! I have seen Kelsey Holmes PA-C several times. She is truly the best! She really takes the time to hear your concerns and makes thoughtful plans for the best care! I would recommend her to anyone! I haven't been here since they expanded because I was FIRED as a client for telling the truth. 🤷 I gave 4 stars on another site only because the wait time had become quite long since they were very popular, and I explained that, along with nothing but praise in my review. I was totally surprised to receive an email telling me my review was offensive and upsetting. I was so EXTREMELY offended and hurt when she said that she couldn't see me anymore because I didn't love her clinic like she did... BUT if I changed my review to 5 stars I would be welcomed back. I really did love it there, but after that interaction I morally wouldn't change the review or go back there on good conscious.

Tareen Dermatology was highly recommended to me by a friend who talked highly of Dr. Tareen and had seen her herself. I live in southern MN so I opted for the Faribault site to to have my hair loss checked out. This was back in January 2022. The Dr. I saw had an intern in the room also. She looked at the top of my head with a magnifying glass and pulled on about 4 different spots. Handed me a sheet of paper with 2 objects circled on it out of about 5 and that was it! I asked if she needed to do a hair follicle or blood test to come up with her diagnosis of Androgenetic Alopecia and use Rogain.. she smiled & said no. I'm sorry, but everything I've read in the last 6-7 months and all the people whom I've talked with since about this, all the Google look ups, and the hair loss sites I'm on say this is not enough to tell anything. No questions were asked of me, I did the talking. No after conversation was initiated by the Dr. herself. No I won't go back as I felt my $30.00 copay was more than it was worth. I did wait to make this review to make sure I had educated myself enough about hair loss to be able to come to the conclusion that this place was not the answer. *** Update on the above post*** I was contacted by Dr. Tareen's office the very next day the original post showed up. The apologies were flowing and they asked me to come back to see another Dr. at no charge. I agreed to this and my gosh day and night!! The Dr. I saw on 8/24 was awesome as they come. Asked questions of me and gave lots of input and information. She took some pictures and put together a plan for me. Going back for a scalp biopsy. So I am very pleased that they gave me the opportunity to come back and made things right. A win/win in my book.

Tareen Dermatology is the best dermatology clinic within Minnesota BY FAR. They offer three locations which allows for many patients to be seen without having to drive too far. Hands down, Dr. Tareen is the best doctor I've ever seen, and all doctors should aspire to be like her. Not only is she an expert in the clinical space when it comes to acne, rosacea, skin conditions, cosmetics, etc., she is kind, caring, empathetic, and will give you a medical and cosmetic experience unlike any other. I don't think I've ever met a kinder person in my life, who I also know genuinely cares about me and my wellbeing. Her treatments were always effective, and gentle on my skin. She gave me many recommendations that I put into action. I started going to her, after being referred by a friend, who watched me struggle with my acne, scarring, and the impact it had on my self-confidence. Before my first visit I sat in my car crying because I was so embarrassed by my skin because I was in my 30’s and my skin was the worst it had ever been. Dr. Tareen helped me get my acne under control with safe options since I was breastfeeding. I then wanted to tackle my uneven skin tone and years of scarring; my goal was to feel confident enough to be in public without powder or foundation. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Tareen and her clinic. It may sound crazy, but she really did change my life. I suffer from a pretty rare scalp condition and had seen a few other dermatologists with no luck. After lots of frustration, I went to see Dr. Tareen and she pinpointed and diagnosed me within minutes. She provided me with the correct medication and my issue was completely at bay within days. She is so friendly and so is all of her staff! Her clinic was actually out of network under my insurance plan and so I had to pay out of pocket, which wasn't cheap... However after the immediate success I had with her, I had no problem paying out of pocket to come back and see her. The Best Dermatologist in Twin Cities, my daughter and I have been seen by Dr. Torren for the last 2years. The second you walk into the Clinic you are greeted with a warm welcome. I really love that I can call the office and be seen by Dr. Torren within a week and a half or less. The staff is respectful of your time, and you can expect to spend little to no time in the waiting room before being called back. Dr. Torren is absolutely amazing, and really takes the time to diagnose you properly. She is friendly, professional, and extremely competent. I had a bad rash on my head skin that I had confused what to do. She was able to properly diagnose me and my skin is back to being as smooth as a baby's bottom! There is also a wide array of cosmetic services offered at the office at competitive prices. They also offer samples of cleansers, creams, etc. which is really a great bonus.

I have been seeing Dr. Tareen for a couple of years now. I lost a husband to a rare form of skin cancer and my first visit was for a full body check. At that time, Dr. Tareen said she would do whatever she could to help me avoid skin cancer. As a new patient to Tareen Dermatology I wanted to share my experience. I went in for a full body check up since I'm in my early 40's and haven't ever had it done. I was quite nervous as I didn't know what to expect. From the moment Meg, the Medical Assistant came into the room I felt completely at ease. She was knowledgeable, friendly, energetic, and went over what I could expect during the exam. She completed the initial scan prior to Dr. Tareen coming in to examine me. Dr. Tareen was efficient and thorough. During the exam she talked to me as if I had known her my whole life. Upon finding a mole she wanted to biopsy I was informed that this would entail shots of Novocain. I'm deathly afraid of needles and was panicking. Meg was keenly aware of this. She assured me she was excellent at administering shots and would get another M.A. to come in hold my hand. The M.A. gave me a neck massage as Meg gave me the shots. I didn't feel a thing due to her technique. Lastly, prior to prescribing any medication, Dr. Tareen and Meg made sure to confirm what the costs would be by running it through my insurance. That way I wasn't stuck with thousands of dollars in medications when there were other alternatives that may be cheaper. I would HIGHLY recommend Tareen Dermatology for any of your dermatological needs. You walk in a stranger and leave a friend. Top notch facility with a class act staff!

Two years ago I made an appointment with Dr. Mohiba Tareen for severe adult acne treatment and it was one of the best decisions I have ever made! Every member of Dr. Tareen’s staff is a reflection of her: professional, skilled, kind and welcoming. Each person, especially Dr. Tareen herself, made me feel important and heard throughout my entire experience, and they have continued to do so in every subsequent encounter I have had. Dr. Tareen is the first and only dermatologist I have ever seen that took the time to listen to and understand my concerns about my skin, comfort levels with various treatments and experiences with other dermatologists. During our very first conversation, I started to feel a sense of hope again. She clearly explained all of my treatment options, including any pros and cons, in a way that I understood and felt comfortable with. We also discussed costs and insurance coverage, which few providers take the time to do. Once we had discussed all of my options, I felt empowered to make the best choice for me. Dr. Tareen and I both agreed that Isotretnoin was the best treatment option for my acne (most people know Isotretnoin as Accutane). Isotretnoin treatment can seem overwhelming at first, but Dr. Tareen and her staff made the process as easy and comfortable as possible. She took the time to explain how Isotretnoin works in the body, including any and all potential benefits and risks, and we created my treatment plan together. No dermatologist has ever explicitly included me in developing and modifying my treatment plan before. Isotretnoin treatment requires monthly visits and blood draws, and Dr. Tareen’s staff relieved me of my stress by scheduling all follow-up appointments, coordinating care with my primary provider and working directly with my pharmacy to ensure my prescription was always available when I needed it. The staff always made themselves available for support throughout the course of my treatment and I received nothing short of expert and empathetic care. Dr. Tareen was the first doctor who ever asked me about my sources of emotional support, which illustrates her genuine kindness and holistic approach to care. After 6 months of Isotretnoin treatmentand almost no side effects aside from dry skinI was 100% acne free (and still am 2 years later)! She was the first provider to suggest Isotretnoin and I’m so glad she did. Dr. Tareen prescribed a course of Salicylic Acid Peels to help with residual scarring and provided me with a prescription cream for maintenance. I had never thought it would be possible to live life with perfectly clear skin! Dr. Tareen is not only an expert in her field, she navigates each care experience with empathy and compassion. There is a reason she has been selected as a Top Doctor by Mpls St Paul Magazine 2 years in a row and a Top Doctor for Women by Minnesota Monthly Magazine! I recently followed up with Dr. Tareen for my yearly all-over skin check. As soon as she came into the room, she gave me a genuine hug. She told me I had always been beautiful and that she was proud of me, and in that moment, I was reminded of how endlessly grateful I am to have found Mohiba Tareen. Any person who has dealt with a skin condition can understand how frustrating and exhausting finding the right provider and treatment is, and I honestly do not know what I would have done without the support of Dr. Tareen and her staff. Pain free tattoo removal! Prior to Tareen Dermotology, I had experienced 4 tattoo removal sessions and found it to be incredibly painful. At Tareen, I received numbing agents and felt next to nothing during the procedure, experienced a 3 day pain free heal time (as opposed to the previous experience of VERY painful week long healing), and saw a noticeably decreased tattoo color- even on the hard to treat purple area that had previously seen almost no decrease in color. Apparently Tareen JUST purchased their tattoo removal laser, so it is the very latest in technology. The staff was warm and friendly and the office was easy to find. Would HIGHLY recommend Tareen for tattoo removal and other laser services!!

Dr. Tareen is one of the most caring dermatologists out there!! I have been seen both medically and cosmetically, and could go on and on about the amazing experiences I've had for both types of appointments. Prior to any treatment or recommendation she is always sure to ask what you prefer to do, and doesn't push anything. She really takes the time to listen to what your thoughts are about the whole visit, but still lists out all options available for you to consider. I received my second round of Dysport a couple weeks ago, and loved the results yet again. In this circumstance, I really appreciate that she values the saying "less is more." She would always prefer to start conservative then add more if need be a couple weeks later. You hear horror stories of Dysport going badly and having zero expression afterwards, but I know that would never happen on Dr. Tareen's watch!! Regardless if you have a medical or cosmetic concern, I would highly highly highly recommend you see Dr. Tareen for many reasons and then some.

It took Dr. Tareen a total of two seconds to diagnose my skin condition as psoriasis, where as all previous medical professionals had treated me for various other ailments. She explained the condition, as well as possible treatment options and sent me home with literature to consider laser treatments. When I returned two days later, she had already gained the approval through my insurance provider and I received my first treatment. I go twice a week for a few minutes of light therapy. Initially, the treatment included hands, arms, feet, and legs. After several treatments, I am now only receiving treatments for a couple of fingers. I credit my technician, Mary, and Dr. Tareen as "Miracle Workers". Though the process is long, it certainly has been effective. Dr. Tareen recommended a particular brand of lotion to aide in the healing process. I routinely use this lotion and often wear cotton gloves to protect my hands while they are returning to normal--even while sleeping. Psoriasis can be triggered by stress and I believe stress is the reason for my situation. We are experiencing major health issues within our household with frequent visits to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. After numerous visits to that world renowned medical facility, I place Tareen Dermatology up on a pedestal, along side of the Mayo. The level of professionalism in conjunction with encouragement are evident in my degree of healing and I am delighted with the results. The process has its ups and downs, but little by little the psoriasis gives up and allows my skin to normalize. Being persistent with the regiment, I am confident I can count on Tareen Dermatology to assist if any future skin problems arise.

If you need a dermatologist for any reason... Dr. Mohiba Tareen is the one to see. I initially saw Dr. Tareen in October 2013 due to a very stubborn allergic reaction that resulted in contact dermatitis. She immediately took the steps needed to cure it - including a biopsy, the right medicine that worked when nothing else would and then a patch test to determine the source of the problem. She would not rely on guesswork and instead made sure we could pinpoint what was wrong and be sure I did not come in contact with the chemicals that started my flares. Since then I have had a few other procedures and each one has been treated quickly and completely successfully. Dr. Tareen is a brilliant diagnostician in addition to her dermatological expertise. I trust her completely and cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I feel very lucky to have found her.

I was referred to Dr. Tareen by my GP for acne. After years of trying different acne medications and growing increasingly frustrated with the results, I was hesitant to even go back to a dermatologist. I went on Accutane three times, but the acne just kept coming back. I'm so glad I made an appointment with Dr. Tareen though! She put me on a couple topicals and established a cleansing routine for me. She also introduced me to salicylic acid peels, which I am very grateful for (Mary performs these peels, and she is great, too!). I have been using the topicals religiously and getting a salicylic peel every month (I'm cutting back to about every 2-3 months now on the peels), and I don't have a single pimple on my face! Please give Dr. Tareen a try! You won't be disappointed.

Both my son and I have had moles looked at and removed here, and I was happy with the service we received both times. My only reason for 4 stars rather than 5 is that both times, they failed to call us with the results of our biopsies. When it's your young child that has abnormal moles, that wait can be very hard and to hear that the results had been back for a week and no one took the time to call was really disappointing. This place is incredible. I had bad acne in high school and it was painful. I saw a dermatologist before her but he was rude and inattentive. Ive been going to the location for over 2 years now. I was prescribed ivermectin at my most recent visit. The thing is, ivermection would have been the script of choice for the diagnosis I thought I would receive at my visit last summer. Instead, I was given basically a head case diagnosis. I understand that some of the things you must hear are outstandingly crazy, rare at best and lord knows I looked the part when I came in last summer. But. Just because a patient interprets their symptoms in a way that isn't correct doesn't mean that they should be dismissed altogether. What real harm would it have done to prescribe a patient who thinks that they have worms under the skin topical ivermectin? If they do have them, problem solved. If not, the placebo effect of knowing they got what "cures" their condition could be powerful enough to, again, solve the problem. Had I gotten something to treat my "worms" last summer, perhaps I wouldn't be going thru this special hell again this spring. insurance covers it, friggin bill it and let me live knowing that what I have and what I "have" has been treated (of course I realize that this only works in cases where the risk to the patient is basically nil if they don't have what they think they have-the same as listening to the patient when they specifically request a biopsy of an ACTIVE lesion site as well as an inactive site). Trust me. We would rather be somewhere else talking about something else. Nobody needs stuff like that going on in their lives. But thank you for treating me as well as you did. it was heads and tails beyond better care than I received from the other places I visited. And the compassion I received was appreciated. The other jackass I saw had none and I would love to go leave some mange on his desk to be honest with you.
