Had an issue with where to go, what clinic I was supposed to be at, so communication leading up to the procedure could be improved. Other than the waiting time, I had a very good experience with removing a cancer spot. The nurse explained everything that was happening, and she was delightful and kind. Procedure went quickly, and they spent plenty of time answering any questions I had. The waiting room in Buffalo is a little tight, and it could use magazines or something to help with the wait. But the staff there were great. I highly recommend Clarus. For regular appointments, I go to Otsego location. They are great there as well

Today was my second time seeing Chelsea at the Elk River location. Both experiences have been outstanding. Everyone I dealt with was extremely professional and friendly. Chelsea is exceptional! She is very personable and makes you feel at ease. And, she does a great job of explaining everything - from what she sees during the exam and any procedures she may do.

Great provider - everyone there was friendly and skilled. Heather G. ,MPAS utilized a variety of effective treatments that were about painless and solved the minor skin issues for me. Clarus St. Anthony has a great office culture - real people who care about helping and smiling patients entering and exiting as well. Easy parking right out front with other shops next door - way better than a corporate provider parking in a ramp and be with 25+ others. Also St. Anthony is a super clean office with newer nice finishes. Whoever reads this you will like going here ! Cheers !

Erin Layen is amazing. I went to my family doctor who said the skin pigmentation I have will stay there forever and there is nothing they can do. I was very disappointed and felt depressed to be honest. I was searching for a dermatologist and I found Erin. I went to the office the same day and she knew what it was right a way, and with lots of confidence, she gave me cream to use for two weeks. it's my week one now and I barely see the discolored spot anymore. It's almost gone. I really appreciate her. I am excited to see the final result in one more week.

Mercy was my nurse today with Dr. Shah the surgeon. Mercy was amazing, even though she had to give me four “horrible” shots in my nose. Dr. Shah was very kind and considerate. I would highly recommend both of these individuals. Now it’s a waiting game to make sure they were able to remove all of the tissue.

They open the doors for me as I was a little early. The reception logged me in so I could get me in early. It was then less then 3 minutes until I was called. I was in the room and the nurse to my blood she said that’s it. So I was hardly their for 7 minutes. It was great. I love them all a lot and you need to keep them there.

I had no idea that dermatology helped excessive sweating, but was forwarded on from my provider to the Spicer location and was honestly unbelievable. They are extremely good. It was outstanding from check in to check out. Extremely kind, knowledgeable, and zero stress. Highly recommend for anything in that location.

This was a recheck on a procedure I had done last spring. I just needed to be sure all was well after a sunny ☀️😎 summer. Esther was my physician and she is new to the Ostego office, she is absolutely a wonderful physician, Chelsea confirmed everything that Esther had said. I love these beautiful girls!! The receptionists is so fun, friendly, the whole staff work together like a well oiled Machine. Ostego is very fortunate to have all of them. The care and compassion, understanding, and they're always positive, even when the out come might not be. One of the things I like is they don't take chances, they get right down to a, do now not wait treatment. Not a, we'll see how it goes and if it's not gone come back in 2 weeks, no they take care of it now. And they consult each other, 2nd opinion then make a collective decision. I was traveling to the St Anthony office and now I can stop at the Ostego office. I'll never go anywhere else. And they all like Hug's!!! 🤗 I would highly recommend this office. When it comes to your skin go to a specialist not a regular GP. Don't waste your time and your health.

It was a pretty good experience. The only thing I wasn't very pleased about was that I had a small cyst removed by Erin 3 weeks ago and it wasn't totally removed. Dr. Shah didn't want to help me during my visit and said I would need to make a third appointment. Disappointing!

Edit: I am taking two stars off due to poor communication from the office on lab testing results. I have had to call three times over three days, and still no one will give me my results or call me back. When it comes to cancer, patients want to know ASAP what the results are. Why is there such a delay and failure to respond to patients?!

This was a new office and was friendly and helpful. They used a teleconferencing nurse to help with the intake and initial questions and possibly conferencing with a Doctor (?). However I was surprised by this and didn’t get explanation. Sometimes she was there with video and sometimes the screen was black but she still talked. I didn’t know if she could see me the whole time or when I was alone…. Changing into a gown was a little weird because if it. An explanation of the teleconferencing nurse and some lead-in to what was going to happen would have gone a long way toward my comfort level. Medical diagnosis and treatment was good. They require a form of payment up front for things not covered by insurance and it seems they don’t bill directly but rely on the statement of your insurance. That part seemed unusual and I didn’t understand it completely. Insurance and billing is still pending at this time.

Drove the 45-50 minutes to Clarus as opposed to the dermatologists near me because their reviews were so good. I can see why they've been rated so high! I'll definitely be going back. Not only is the clinic extremely clean, everyone I came in contact with was personable and helpful. The doctor and his assistant made sure all my questions were answered, even checking twice to be sure they'd covered any concerns of mine; I never felt rushed, which is so appreciated when you're deciding on a procedure. Biggest thing that warmed my heart tho was I went in to have a couple small moles removed from my face (purely cosmetic) and the doctor said he typically encourages patients to not remove moles unless necessary. He was happy to do it per my request but doesn't feel a need to remove every mole in sight. That's not the message you typically hear at dermatologists/doctors, who practically hunt for things to tack onto your bill. He and his assistant did an excellent job. I was also impressed with the caring manner of the doctor's assistant who informed me of each part of the procedure before doing it so I felt completely at ease. Long story short, I was delighted with my experience at Clarus and will definitely use them again in the future. Many thanks to them!

The receptionist staff, billing department, and his medical assistants have always been very pleasant, welcoming and accommodating to my needs, product knowledge questions and scheduling. The clinic is clean! The waiting area provides an abundance of information of services and products that are available at there location. To conclude my review the fact is... I trust Dr Shah and the treatments provided to me. Because of that, I have referred my daughter and mother that are now patients too!

Dr. Roelke Is great! I came in a few months ago and in the first visit he explained everything that was going on, prescribed me a medication for my skin, and asked if I had any other concerns. I went back when the first medication wasn't working and he fixed the problem I was having! Now my skin is nice and healthy and I am very happy! The rest of the staff is great too and scheduling appointments is so easy and convenient and you can usually get one right away you don't have to wait WEEKS like other places! I love this place!

Honestly, I feel so ecstatic that I was referred to Clarus from North Memorial. My primary had no clue what was happening and dismissing all of my input. From the moment that I got into the room at Clarus they knew that what I was showing them wasn’t common. I was happy that I had the nurse, Dr Laura, another female PA, a med student and a final male doctor ALL look at it. They went above and beyond making me feel reassured I wasn’t getting a general “I don’t know” answer. They want me to feel better. I can never explain how grateful I truly am just to have a diagnosis. Thank you so much to the staff!

I have been going to Dr Shah for my skin care needs for several years now. I have seen him at both a Clarus site and a North Memorial clinic. He and his staff are all very welcoming and approachable. The Clarus site is very nice with ample street parking. I had a recent appointment following the implementation of the additional COVID safety precautions. Dr Shah and all his staff were all wearing PPE. The waiting room was clean with seats spaced apart. There was also a Plexiglas barrier in front of the receptionist and she wiped off any the tablet for consents/signatures between uses. I felt very comfortable going here given their apparent commitment to providing quality care.

I was really impressed by all the staff there. They were professional, nonjudgmental and easy to talk with. Unfortunately, they didn’t do the test I specifically came in for and were not able to diagnose my primary concern. It has been over a week now and my primary symptoms continue to get worse. I likely have to pay for two visits now because I need to go back and have them do the test they refused to do the first time.

I was impressed the minute I walked through the door. The staff at the front desk was kind and courteous. I did not have to wait beyond my appointment time to get called in to see the doctor. His nurse was very, very kind, understanding, and professional. When the doctor came in he, also, was very professional. He shook my hand and introduced himself, which I liked very much. Then he looked at my sore, and he knew right off the bat what was wrong. The condition has a huge long name that of which rolled right of his tongue. That gave me immense confidence in his abilities. He asked the nurse to get me set up for a biopsy, which she did in a sweet and gentle manner. She was excellent. I wish I could remember her name. He did the biopsy quick and explained what to expect next. All in all I think Clarus Dermatology is an excellent place to go if one needs that sort of treatment. I recommend them highly.

From the receptionist, the nurse assistant, and the two Drs, everything was pleassnt, professional, thorough, and explained in a way a layman understands. My wife is now going to schedule a visit as there was an abnormality in my skin that was removed (pain free) and is headed for a biopsy. This Clinic is a TOP NOTCH Dermatology Center for skin care. I was recommended to this Clinic and DR. Shah through my Personal Physician. There was a spot on my face that wasn't healing. I was a little nervous about it going in but the atmosphere of the Staff, Nurses and DR Shah was refreshing. The spot was removed (Skin Cancer). I was very surprised what it was and all though after seeing it when finished, I was shocked at how much was removed. Thanks to DR Shah with his Professional Knowledge,Talents, Experiences and his Nurses it healed with no problems and after a year you can hardly see the surgery done. I did a follow up a year later. He visually checked my skin out, no skin cancer but saw a Mole which we decided to have sampled. Its truly understandable how this Clinic, Doctors, Nurses and Staff are rated highly in Minnesota.

I've dealt with painfully raw skin on my hands for decades. I've gone for help else where through out the years, but never had improvement. Dr. Roelke treated me professionally, kindly and with results! I'm more than thrilled. To be able to use my hands as they are intended, is huge for me. Dr. Roelke's manner was wonderful. So, I brought my Mother in to see him ( she's in her 80's), to be checked for skin cancer. She did in fact, have skin cancer. The entire staff treated her so well. Much care was taken. My Mom is very pleased with the concern they gave to achieve the smallest scar line, in the least noticeable area. I went to see Dr Shah in 2015 for a routine skin check because I had moved to the area. I had a raised mole on my nostril that would get irritated every winter. My prior dermatologist wasn't too worried about it. Dr Shah examined it and a biopsy revealed a basal cell carcinoma, which would require Mohs surgery. I was pretty worried because there was no way to know how much would need to be removed. I had the surgery and Dr Shah also took some cartilage from my ear so that my nostril wouldn't collapse. Dr Shah followed up with a laser treatment to make the skin look better, and the scar is fairly minimal. I highly recommend Dr Shah and Clarus, all of the staff and nurses I have dealt with there have been outstanding!
