Coming from a place (wild smiles) where they left my child petrified… To a welcoming facility, has been such a relief of stress off of my daughter & myself since we’ve became apart of this “family”. That’s exactly how the staff makes you feel, like family; like home. The energy is perfect for children with high anxiety towards the dentist. My child loves Doctor Patty & her staff.

The service, dental assistants and the dentist were all great, informative, helpful, generous and encouraging. The atmosphere is fun for the kids with the play room. My only issue was when we arrived, the front desk staff took a while to greet us and weren’t very warm and friendly with the exception of one young woman (don’t know her name). Overall we love the services we receive!

I drove past this dentist so many times and finally I decided to do some research on the internet and saw how awesome this place was, wishing I had a dentist like this when I was young, so I decided to make an appointment for my daughter and it's even better in person. This is the most awesome place for kids to go to get their teeth worked on. The staff is great. This place makes going to the dentist so fun and if you have and questions or concerns the staff puts your mind at ease. I tell all may friends and family about this place I highly recommend it. Just check it out your kids will love going to the dentist, the kids get to play video games and play basketball while they wait. If you don't believe me check it out for yourself. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would.

Had an incredible visit for my son's first dental appointment! The team at the front desk was warm and welcoming and our hygienist, Phanta, went above and beyond to make sure our son had a positive (dare I say, fun!!) first dental experience. She is AWESOME. Dr. Patty even got a "thank you" from our two year old. Well done, Gentle Touch! We'll be back!

My son has been coming there since he was three but now he is six. He was scared for the first two years but the game room changed his mind 😁 about going. I say to say all of this that this is the best kid friendly dentist hands down from the staff from front to end and to the now open game room. Thank you for all you do to make this a good experience each time we visit. Even my three year old grandson loves it just for the game room 😉 I will make sure he will start coming to get his teeth cleaned soon.

My experience of the dentists is good, but trying to call their office or to speak to someone in the office to change appointment is horrible. After one appointment they said that they would call us to set up the next appointment, they never called. Then they said that they could not proceed until the insurance approved the work and they would call us, 5 months later they have not called so I called them only to be told actuallly it did not need to be approved by the insurance company. Plus multiple examples of calling them and not being able to get though.

10. Ebony was great. This was my daughter first visit and she made sure she was nice and comfortable. She explained everything that was going to happen before she started. She also explained what I needed to do to follow the Dr. Plans. She was great, I would recommend her to everyone. I would also like to request her as my daughter hygienist every visit. Great! It was my daughters first time at the dentist & she felt loved , cared for & welcome , all thanks to Aunty EB. She was amazing & great with informing me on the what & why it’s important to brush & floss. Also she reassured me that my daughter was doing a great job at brushing ! We Love this office! Everything about it is Good. Staff & dentist's are great. Kids & parents will feel very comfortable. Who doesn't Love a arcade? They also have a VR ride!! Wish all kids had this office to go to for their first visit & every visit afterwards. They are #1.

The most welcoming, fun, and colorful place I've been to in a while - and unheard of for a dentist's office. For a place that some kids are scared of, as soon as you step in, you're surrounded by so many murals and games, you almost forget where you are. There is even an unlimited play arcade!! The staff is very friendly as well, and great working with the young kids. Definitely recommend for the children.

This dentist office truly stands by their name Gentle Touch smiles. All the staff are friendly and always have a smile on their face, service is Speedy, I haven't ever had to wait more than five minutes after my appointment time before my child was sitting in the chair. Their work is fast but done with lots of care so your child will be in and out of the chair with great work done. And if your child is scared they won't push the issue to force your child to get the work done. They will just try to make them feel better and schedule another appointment. And let's not forget the best part, the atmosphere is awesome 3D animals everywhere and a game room your child would be amazed and have a ball like mine. Both of my children get serviced at Gentle Touch Smiles for Kids. The staff is friendly and patient with children. It's clean and the fun decorations are appealing to the eye. The doctors explain procedures to parents and give tips to children so that they understand how to take care of their oral health. I love this place!

My kids dental assistants Ebony & Sharnae were Amazing!! Absolutely no complaints. I have been attending Gentle Touch Smiles since my first son was about 3 he is now 7, my youngest son who’s 1 DOES NOT LET ANYONE IN HIS MOUTH. But today Ms Ebony obviously made my son feel so comfortable that he let her do his first real teeth cleaning! They were both so kind and friendly towards me and my children I’m pretty sure we’ll never leave 🙃 Definitely recommended

OUR EXPERIENCE WAS SOOOOOO AMAZING! OVER THE TOP! Quick but not rushed!! The staff and environment made us feel so comfortable! They give a very fun and family like feel but it was also very professional. Our dental assistant CRYSTAL was sooo great! I mean I’m naturally emotional but I almost cried. Seriously, that was the best we have been treated in a long time. She made my daughter feel so comfortable and like everything was going to be alright. She treated her like a little sister and made sure things were done right even in a busy time. Her personality and energy was over the top! She should definitely become a trainer. She connects well. Best practice for small people! Our toddler loves visiting the dentist & I enjoy the experience through her. The office is always clean, the staff is polite & professional, the dental assistants & dentists are patient, professional & very knowledgeable. Then of course there’s the arcade/gym, which is too fun! Overall great facility & staff & our daughter will attend Gentle Touch from now until she can no longer be seen there!

I started bringing my children here last year and we love it! The entire staff is patient and great with the kids. The dentists speak to them and use "kid friendly" dental language and I absolutley love it. The staff really make the kids feel at ease. I see so many children of all ages that are comfortable going back alone. There's also a huge arcade room, but it's temporarily closed due to covid. When it was open, the children had there own play cards that racked up points for coming to their appts. My kids now enjoy coming to the dentist thanks to Gentle Touch Smiles.

This is the best pediatric dentist! My son has sensory processing disorder as well as anxiety so he struggles with these types of appointments. The staff are incredible with him and show so much patience and kindness. He needed braces and they took so much time to make sure he was comfortable and explain every step of the process. Big shout out to Mani who stood there holding my sons hands while he got an x-ray and calming him the whole time! I would definitely recommend this place!!

This place is awesome! The waiting room reminds me of the Oasis family fun center. My kids didn't want to leave! The staff was also very kind and helpful. I was having a bad day during our first visit but every staff member I encountered was so friendly, it lifted my mood and I left with a smile on my face, as did my children. That's a big deal considering that my son had 3 teeth extracted during his visit. The dentist & hygienist were so gentle and had perfect mannerisms for working with children. This is the best experience I've ever had at any kind of business. I have nothing negative to say about Gentle Touch. I'm so glad we switched dentists!

My kids, ages 3 - 7, having been going to Gentle Touch Smiles for about 2 years now, and I can’t tell you how much I love them! Every single staff member seems genuinely happy to be there, and so friendly. This is a huge deal when dealing with children, as you want your child to feel safe and cared for in order for them to cooperate. Of course the kids love playing in the smile zone, which is an incentive to come for them. The only thing I would improve is the wait time when actually in the chair, since there are about 2-3 different people the the kids need to be seen by while there. They can get a little antsy between technicians/docs. I am thankful for all of the helpful nurses, technicians, administrative staff and doctors that all make my kids feel welcome and safe, and who do an amazing job. Well done! Keep it going. You all are amazing.

I have to say that this office surpassed my expectations in pediatric dentistry. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. I loved the layout and design of the office, and the staff made my sons first trip to the dentist easy and quick. Although he is only two, he loved the arcade and jungle gym, he especially loved the fish exhibit. I highly recommend everyone to bring their children here.

They are also very good at taking care of everything back to back and quickly instead of waiting months in between appointments to do certain things . I really wish it was covid when I brought my kids here because they would love it even more with the arcade room . It’s torture for them to peak at it walking by or going to the bathroom and peaking at it . But hey it is what it is , keeping everyone safe . Took all three of my children to GTS and it was a wonderful experience! The staff was so loving and caring and Dr. Patti was so knowledgeable and precise with her exam. LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE, they are kid friendly but also make the parents just as comfortable. My kids range from 2-10, they ease any fears they may have before starting and reassure them how great they did afterwards. From start to finish they are all smiles. As my son and I pulled up to the office we were both excited from the decor on the outside to the inside it was phenomenal. The staff are so nice and helpful there. I have relocated to N.C. and learned that there is no one out here like Gentle Touch Smiles for Kids. My daughter is 11 now and 9 of those years she went to see Dr. Maxwell. She explained in detail that she really misses Dr. Maxwell and staff. She miss the waiting/play room, the decore of the building and most of all the songs and love she felt from everyone in the office. Thank you Dr. Maxwell for all the time, money and love you have for our children. As a parent I appreciate your detail vision, and your determination to give our children something other than fear when visiting a Doctor.

Just went for my sons first ever visit to the dentist and my friend had recommended this location to us. Went there and it was absolutely wonderful. Everyone was super friendly and my son had a great time. The play area, known as the "Smile Zone" is wonderful for relaxing kids before they have to see the dentist. Then the staff there is super nice and friendly which makes it even better for the kids. Definitely going to continue to take my son there!

This office is nothing short of amazing! All of the staff was very friendly, informative, and experienced! They all took extra time to insure that my children were comfortable, and aware of everything that they were doing. The environment is very professional as far as patient relations, and the intake process. The smile zone that has been set up for the children puts them all at ease with the multiple fun activities available to them before and after their visit. My children actually didn't want to leave the office!! I would absolutely recommend this practice to anyone looking for a pediatric hygienist. Dr Taylor was excellent! I love this office! My daughter had a terrible experience at a previous dentist and was terrified to go anywhere and after just one visit with Dr Taylor she was in love! No more panic attacks, no more anxiety. Dr Taylor was even scheduled to leave early but stayed late just to help my daughter. My son loves the arcade and the fact he can be a goof ball with his dentist and leave smiling.

First visit at this office! And im still shocked.The best experience ever for my kids and I. It didn't seem like a dental office and my husband still thinks I took my kids to an amusement center instead of the dental office.🤣 My kids loved their first dental appointment and can't wait to go back. The staff welcomes you with a smile from the moment you enter till the moment you leave. My 4 year old was crying at first cause he was scared of getting his cleaning done but it was only a matter of seconds he seemed to outgrow his fear and was smiling and showing he's teeth off. Have never seen my kids so happy after a Dental appointment ever.! I'm glad I no longer have to worry about dragging them to the dentist anymore because they didn't want to leave, and can't wait to be back!

My daughter went from scared of the dentist to excited to go, and that is after this team had to spend extra time cleaning her teeth from the years of build-up that our previous dentist left. My son is on the autism spectrum , so he does not do well with dentists, doctors etc.... the staff were very understanding and patient with him ( they had to get x-rays of his teeth to find the problem) they did all they could do to help him feel more comfortable including trying to make his x-rays as fast as they could with having to keep taking new ones cause he kept spitting the piece they put in your mouth out. He ended up needing to have 2 extractions and well let’s just say I knew it was going to be a fight to get him to allow them to do it. They had to strap him down and tried laughing gas(he didn’t get the effects because he cried and wasn’t breathing it in correctly) Dr.Patty was the dentist we saw, and she did the extractions so fast even with him moving his head and fighting her off, she was amazing with him! ALL the staff we encountered at our visit were very friendly, patient , had great personalities and were very understanding and accommodating to my sons needs!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this dentist office for any children but especially children with special needs, thanks to them my son is feeling so much relief and he’s most back to his normal self ( he’s just in a little pain from the procedure) . Great dentist for kids. The entire practice is friendly, upbeat, and respectful! They even make it fun for kids by having an arcade and singing to the kids during procedures. They provide game cards with points so kids can play any game they want. You don’t even have to have an app to go in and use the arcade. This place is highly recommended if you have children!!!!

Dentists can be a scary and sometimes traumatic experience, but my son got the best experience ever, for that I am grateful! I was greeted when I first walked in the lady at the front desk directed me where to sign in and took my insurance information all while assisting another family. I was filling out the paper work and I was escorted around the building as well as treated with such care. I have a two year old and it was her first dentist appointment and I was nervous for her. Wonderful atmosphere, professional staff!!! And soooooo much for the children to do!!! The atmosphere here is to minimize the fears and anxieties associated with Doctors/Dentists visits. The Doctors are very informative, patient, and they connect with you and your child!!! I love that they never assume, but ask relevant questions to assure they assist you to the best of their ability. They have a wonderful arcade room, that includes a Zombie attack ride, slide, basketball, arcade driving and motorcycle games, 3 xbox 360's etc... The staff make you feel very welcome and appreciated!!! My only regret with this establishment, is that they were not around, when I was a child!!! Just being here makes me wish I was a child again!!! Oh and did I mention, your child does not have to have an appointment to play in the play area!!!! You can stop by, during business hours and let them play!!! Great place, great strategy for overcoming the fear of going to the dentist!!!

I was referred here by a friend and upon arriving, you walk into a very friendly and very welcoming staff and they give direct attention to kids. Yesterday was my first day and I loved it, I enjoyed the atmosphere and the staff. They reward great behavior with points to their arcade room which I enjoyed more than my daughter. I played Pac-man and basketball twice. Great Job, my only concern was my wait time to be seen, about 10-20mins for each person. About 20 mins to be called back, 10 mins for the X-ray Tech and 15mins for the Doctor. That time adds up. There is always room for improvement. Overall great company.

Luv the staff, everyone is very professional and very patient with my children who range from 7 years to 18 years of age. I never have a problem with scheduling all 3 and we never have to worry about waiting (they have a full size arcade, fire stick for movies, and gym house). I just moved into the city in December 2018. I know no one in DE. I went here blind only reading online reviews and visiting website. Came here with my son and I was very pleased. They said my appointment didn't go through online but they still took him in anyway. After he played for a bit we left and got my daughter from school, came back and stayed until close. She wanted to come back the next day can't wait until her appointment. I got to do a video tour of this place if it's allowed for my friends in NJ lol This has to be the best kids dentist in the world. Great children dental office!! Everyone has very friendly and helpful, the staff there is awesome. My only concern would the Call Center you have to go thru to set an appointment or to speak with someone in the office. I think it is very unnecessary step to take to speak with someone in the actually dental office. I had to call 3 times to speak with someone (Leaving messages for a returned call), and the third time I demanded to be transferred to the office or speak with a supervisor. Once I was transferred to the office , I spoke with Monica, she was tremendous help and a life saver! I would for sure recommend this Dental office!

When I first found this office, it was terrific. They were great with my kids and I referred other parents to them. The last two visits have been different. I don't know if they have too many clients or if the office staff is lagging, but something is not right. On one visit they had canceled an appt without notifying me, and instead of apologizing when I got there, they just outright lied. The last visit my children had appointments set at the same time(as always). They called one back immdiately,but not the other. Fast forward an hour and a half later, we were still waiting as not only did My son finish, but so did other families that came in after us. I had to go to the front desk and complain again. We had 2 8:30 appts, you call one back by 8:40, but its after 10 and the second one is still sitting? Plus these kids over there came in after us, were seen and have left? Makes no sense whatsoever....again no apologies. It's getting very unprofessional in there.

Gentle Touch Smiles for kids is honestly the best dental office I’ve ever been to as a mother of four. From my 12 year old twins, to my 5 and 4 year old little ones, the staff know how to personally engage with each child to help them feel safe and calm during their appointments. We have always experienced professional, individualized, timely, efficient service. Dr. Patty always informs me of what she is doing and why, the benefits or consequences of having/not having certain procedures. She has such a light, positive attitude and makes sure to tell my child what a great job they’re doing often, throughout the entire process. She builds rapport with each child, engaging their individual interests and helping them feel comfortable by including ‘Paw Patrol’ or ‘Princess’ themed discussions.. *ALSO- the arcade center that was built on the Orthodontist waiting room, is literally AMAZING. My daughter was so nervous and unsure before her appointment, but playing in the arcade before her dental cleaning and having that to look forward to after her cleaning, was icing on the cake! I cannot say anything but positive, professional, enjoyable experiences with every visit we’ve had.

They have a game room that the kids can play in while they wait. I think this is such a great thing because it helps get their minds off of the dentist and their teeth. I have been taking my daughters here for years for their cleanings. At their latest appointment, my 9 year old was found to have 2 cavities. Mind you, she is terrified of shots/needles/Dr's, etc., so I was preparing myself for a disaster. But Dr. Patty & the hygienist made everything go so smoothly & pain free, with not a tear shed! Great practice, and the kids always look forward to the game room.
