I absolutely Love going to the Mason and Mason Dentist. I Love Dr. Ted and Tina my Hygienist!! All very professional and they totally explain everything they’re doing and treatment needed for the future!! Most folks don’t enjoy going to the dentist. They make it VERY pleasant. The rest of the staff are great as well. From the front desk to the back. Very welcoming!!❤️🤗❤️

This was my first visit to Dr. Mason after my previous dentist retired. A friend of mine who is also a retired dentist gave Dr. Mason a strong recommendation, so I decided to give him a try. The hygienist was friendly and professional. She was interactive and her manner would certainly serve to relax anybody with an anxiety about dental procedures. Dr. Mason was likewise very friendly and professional. He seems to have the conservative approach that I really appreciate. My perception was that if he told you that you needed work, then you probably need the work. After a poor experience with another office where everyone in my family received a recommendation for two crowns, I found this attitude to be very reassuring.

I had an awful experience at my previous dentist. I let the Mason and Mason dental know everything that went wrong and they took it into consideration and really addressed and looked into my problems. I struggled to want to trust another dentist here in Wichita. But thankfully after much recommendation from a McConnell Spouses Facebook page- I decided to give them a try after the hype and online reviews. I’m thankful I did. We created a plan to address my needs and I look forward to going back in about a week. Dr.Ghanta was professional and let you know what he was doing every step of the way. The hygienist (I sadly can’t remember her name!) I had was awesome and gave recommendations to help me with my lack of flossing. And the dentist gave me recommendations and options for the course of my dental health that will lead into the future. Very thankful for the polite, professional, and quick first visit with everyone at this dentist. I will be recommending them in the future!

This office has been newly remodeled during expansion. I have been a client here for a few years now. Most of my appointments are always on time, very little waiting. Even before the renovation, it was clean and modern. The hygienists are all friendly, kind and GENTLE! Both my husband and I see Dr. Ted Mason, you could say I am hooked on him! In fact, we travel from Arkansas to still see him. Why? He is kind, he explains everything and he will go out of his way to do the best he can. He has seen me on emergency visits - one example is I had a cap come off right before flying overseas to Thailand. He got me in and had a new crown on my tooth that same day. Today I had a cleaning, but I was also scheduled the next day to get a new crown on an implant. Dr. Mason instead decides to fit me for a crown then and there. I am sure his staff has fun managing his time as he is so caring and customer oriented. I would recommend Dr. Mason's office without hesitation.

But I've been seeing Dr. Ghanta for almost two years now, and can say he genuinely cares about his patients. Office personnel quite professional and friendly, Dr. Schmidt's assistant(who I thought was the DDS) engaged me in friendly conversation that was quite reassuring, also quite professional; Dr. Schmidt's assistant gave valuable recommendations to the DDS that showed she fully understand my issue, Dr. Schmidt made quick decisions, shared valuable insights with me and then implemented them. We had a bit of a hard time getting my imaging on my crown to accurately display. Dr Ted worked until it came out right which took a couple of hours and getting numbed up again because of the extended wait. They'll be investing in a new imager. The imaging system music was making me nuts so he changed it for me. It's nice they can make the crown onsite instead of getting a temporary and going back. He listened when I told him I need a higher than normal dose of anesthetic & got it right the first time. I've had to stop in the middle of procedures before to get renumbed up when the dentist doesn't listen to me about this. He fixed my night guard so I don't chew on my cheek in it. He personally called me that evening to make sure I was doing okay since it was a long and difficult procedure.

I really enjoy going to this dentist however, I haven’t had any procedures outside of a cleaning. The staff is really friendly and Dr. Mason spends time getting to know you instead of the cursory, fingers in your mouth and moving on technique. Check in is really quick and there are a lot of ways they communicate to remind or reschedule if needed. Unless they don’t take my insurance, I can’t think of a reason to not continue having them as my dentist.

Started With Dr. Mason about 30 years ago, he retired and I re-acquainted with Dr. Ted after my Dentist (same building) had to retire due to health issues. So was glad to be going back to same building and now to Dr. Ted. Had a serious issue happen after initial cleaning back in 2019, many personal things happening at that time as well. Needless to say, I was scared to go back to the dentist after two temporary crowns, one root canal and the final crowns. Boils down to how you take care of your teeth. The Pandemic has not helped. But after cancelling my follow up cleaning in December 2020, made my rescheduled cleaning appointment. My new Hygienist Sou, did an awesome job, and Dr. Schmidt came in and checked teeth after cleaning and fixed a bite issue from the crowns, and now a happy camper and will not be so anxious for next cleaning in July 2021. Love the staff, the new updated facilities for Mason & Mason Dentistry PA. Thanks and Keep up the good work.

I have been going to Mason and Mason for 3 years now and have referred many others to this amazing dental office. Dr. Ted Mason and his team are incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, caring and professional. Every interaction is prompt, but not rushed. Each provider weather assistant, hygienist, or dentist takes the time to answer questions, address concerns, and find the best solutions. Both Dr. Ted and Dr. Schmidt are great at what they do. I primary see Dr.Ted and my husband sees Dr. Schmidt. They are both standout dentists. I have been lucky to need very little dental work done in my lifetime - a couple fillings and wisdom teeth removal, but can honestly say this dentist office is the best I have been a patient at. My husband, who has had a handful of more complex procedures also feels incredibly comfortable and confident that the work he gets done either by Dr. Schmidt or Dr.Ted will be a necessary procedure, and be performed at the high quality with the best technology and materials. They've just added a new associate dentist Dr. Ghanta, who I have no doubt will be an exceptional addition to the team. The front office staff is stellar. Danna is always at the front desk smiling and ready to help. Hygienist Brandon is funny, quick and does great work. Overall, my most recent visit was as positive as all of the ones prior. Everyone at Mason and Mason cares about their patients and goes above and beyond to ensure comfort, health and safety. I highly recommend Mason and Mason if you're in search of a new dentist. You can't go wrong with this team.

I am writing a recommendation for Dr. Debra Schmidt. First of all she answered an emergency call from me during a recent holiday weekend. I was in terrible pain with an infected tooth. She was able to stabilize things until the office opened the following week when I saw her again. We talked about the available options. I liked having options. She worked hard to keep the cost down on the option I selected which I also appreciated. Three appointments later I was "good to go". She was diligent about getting the work perfect, explained everything in terms I could understand, and was sensitive to the fact that I am anxious in the dental chair. I've always had a bit of dental phobia and I believe Dr. Ted may have cured me of this completely. The root canal was virtually pain-free, everyone on the staff was very friendly, and the crown-making machine was pretty cool to watch in action while sipping a free apple juice. Dr. Ted was even nice enough to call and check in on me the next day (no discomfort whatsoever the next day, by the way). I could not recommend his practice more highly.

I want to first say I have seen Dr. Mason since my very first dentist appointment and I’m 22 years old! I also want to tell you how amazing he is as a dentist and a person. Now I want you to know: I hated the dentist and the office and everything a kid has nightmares about. Dr. Mason knows what I’m talking about—five year old being there for over two hours screaming and crying over a spacer needing to be put in with some glue. My mother was so thankful that Dr. Mason showed up and got the job done (which made me hate him for the rest of my childhood). But now that I am all grown up and I appreciate everything he does, I know he is so patient, kind, caring, and wonderful with me and all his patients. Every appointment I have at least one cavity—usually more—and when I have to come in for a filling, I’m not as scared and anxious like I used to be (even if that’s just improved only in the last couple of years). I’ll tell you why—he gives shot into the gums before starting the procedure and I literally have NEVER felt even a pinch! He is quick and meticulous—amazing at what he does! I’m so blessed to have had him as my dentist for so many years! I just recently moved to Alaska so unfortunately I have to find another dentist :( if I find one half as good as Dr. Mason though, I will be in good hands. My hygienist, Brandon, was very thorough and good. He did take care to not be breathing in my face but I wish they would provide the hygienists also with a plastic face shield in addition to the mask. Front desk people were not wearing their masks, which I get it, they are hot and hard to speak to people on the phone in them. Again, though, they could erect a plexiglass barrier between them & patients checking in. Dr. Mason did not see me as Brandon did not find anything concerning. I was good with that as it limited my exposure to someone exposed to a lot of people. In the past, though, he has been very good about explaining things to me especially when I had a complicated dental surgery.

Dr. Schmidt was amazing. I went in to have a wisdom tooth removed. After being quoted a ridiculous price for oral surgery by another dentist I went to Mason and Mason. For less than 1/3 of what I was quoted they were able to remove the tooth. Not one ounce of pain. I will definitely be moving the entire family to Mason and Mason. I hope I never have a dental emergency again but if I do I know who will be taku g care of it.

I cannot express in words how appreciative I am of Dr. Ghanta. I went to see him today because my wisdom tooth had erupted over the weekend and I was in a lot of pain. As soon as Dr. Ghanta seen me, he knew right away how much pain I was in and you could tell he was concerned. Due to the location of my wisdom tooth, he had to refer me to an oral surgeon but he made sure they were able to get me in same day because he knew I wouldn’t have been able to deal with the pain much longer. After I had my wisdom tooth pulled and was back home recovering, Dr. Ghanta called and checked on me to make sure I had got taken care of and to see how I was feeling. That meant so much to me. For him to just have met me today and do so much to get me taken care of, meant everything to me. It’s rare that you find doctors or even people that will go the extra mile for you, especially in times like this but he did and for that, I am so thankful and I will continue to go see him because I know he has my best interest at heart and I trust him!
