Dr. Brown works magic. I had been dealing with a dental issue for over five years that three different dentists only made worse. I came to Dr. Brown extremely frustrated (and pregnant!) wanting to get this issue fixed before having our first baby. Dr. Brown took the time to get to the root of the problem, identified it, created a plan I was comfortable with, and then when one crown wasn't exactly perfect, sent it back to the lab to guarantee it would be a perfect fit when she installed it. Yesterday, for the first time in over five years, I walked out of the dentist with my teeth feeling absolutely perfect (and Dr. Brown and her team even made sure to get me in barely a week before my due date so this would be one last thing I had to be anxious about). Dr. Brown and her team really care about their work and their patients (every time I had x-rays done they made sure to put two bibs on me to keep the baby safe) and were always concerned about my comfort. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with Dr. Brown (and if she can get my husband to stop grinding his teeth at night, I will believe she is truly a miracle worker!). The entire staff is fabulous, the music is great, and the care is absolutely excellent. You will not regret booking your dental care here and I know our family can't wait to see Dr. Brown for years to come.

Dr. Brown, Tyrese, Benny, and Nicole cared for my baby and made the experience comfortable in our absence. Our daughter from Chicago has found her new dental home. It can be costly to fly back and forth from Chicago to DC for dental care, but we found her dental home and are sticking with Dr. Brown. We highly recommend this team of caregivers. As a patient/client since moving to DC in 2019, I've had nothing but positive experiences. When I moved into DC, I wasn't sure where to go as my previous dentist was no longer reasonably accessible. BUT, after more research than I care to admit, I found enough of Presidential's review track record (not just from Yelp) I could find reassuring and their proximity to multiple Metro stations an added bonus. The environment is welcoming despite the fear-feels going to the dentist can drum up with each dentist/dentist tech/etc. encountered having made me feel relaxed. RECOMMENDED

Much-deserved 5- star rating from me! I had a true dental emergency - severe tooth pain with less than a day before my flight out of town. Dr. Brown and the entire staff at Presidental Dental Group went above and beyond to schedule two visits within hours of calling and even pulled strings to get me in to see a specialist first thing in the morning. I was talked through every step of the process and everyone I spoke with was thoughtful and caring. They also worked with me to ensure that my insurance covered as much of the cost possible. Highly recommend!

I felt welcomed here. The staff and the dentist were patient and friendly. The dentist answered all my questions and the office manager worked out a payment plan for me. I had to change from my previous dentist because I felt that the other practice was rude and constantly trying to upsell me, but my experience here was the direct opposite. I'm very glad to have found this dentist and I will continue to go here.

Front Desk staff is so friendly and welcoming. I've seen Dr. Boysen twice now, both just for cleanings but she answered all of my questions and was very patient with me. I wanted to do a tiny gum procedure but was nervous and she went out of her way to show me photos of others and explain the specifics. I did it and I'm so glad I did! I like that they play music while you're getting your teeth done. Hygienists are so friendly but don't do the best cleaning job. First time got toothpaste all over my body and second time felt like they were barely cleaned and got water all over me. Overall recommend though!!

My husband has been going to Dr. Hancock for a very long time now, myself for many years and now our son comes here with us. We have had nothing but great experiences with all their staff that we never have to worry about our dental hygiene and care. In my experience there’s been a lot of staff turnover and my fav dentist also left. I had two negative experiences with Dr. Hancock but following this review she called to me to give me the info to the prior dentist I saw at her practice (who I loved) and apologized. To call individuals leaving negative reviews to give them contact info to another dentist shows vulnerability, confidence, and true consideration. I truly hope things have changed and the new staff are just as kind and considerate as the last. Give them a try. I hope they're better. Dr. Hancock seemed more attentive my last time. And clearly cares about her practice (being that she called within 12 hours of my initial review).

I recently had an appointment at Presidential Dental with Dr. Hancock. I had seen her before when she worked at another practice a few years ago. She is an excellent dentist. She explains everything in detail and has excellent bedside manner. Her office is a cute little boutique office that provides all the newest technology in dentistry. They even provide hot towels to their patient's to clean them up after the treatment is completed. The staff is friendly and I highly recommend Dr. Hancock and Presidential Dental Group. You will not be disappointed.

I've been a dental wuss for 40 years. Previously, I went to Dr. Hancock on an emergency basis because they were close to my apt. and office. But this summer I decided to man up, save my teeth and maturely deal with my dental health as part of my new "the 60's are when life begins" lifestyle. Today, I had a root canal during which I napped! The dental hygienist has done a fabulous job removing decades of plaque. The dental assistant was totally cool with prepping and assisting DR. H. The office manager calculated the cost of the total treatment plan and the cost of each visit And, for the icing on the cake, they all are beautiful! For instance, today everybody were wearing heels and reception clothes instead of those smock things and were foxed up. I mean what the what ? This is not my childhood dentist. This is Dr. Ivory Hancock and the "Wonder Women" making visits to the dentist pretty damn pleasant.

If I could give 10 stars I would! I read the reviews of this practice and was kind of nervous worrying that they’d try to upsell me or be rude. They were NOTHING LIKE THAT! We had a mix-up with my appt yet they accommodated me anyway. The woman who did my whitening treatment was careful, thoughtful, attentive, knowledgeable, and maybe even more excited for me than I was. The treatment was exactly as I expected (I did a ton of research) and the results were amazing!!! Also I used a Groupon (which I’ve never done before) and they were LOVELY about it and frankly my neophyte use of it. THESE GUYS ARE REALLY REALLY GREAT!!! I never write reviews but they deserve it!
