Dr. Corona awesome as always, Beth friendly, helpful and very nice always, but this day, the little fat face girl at the counter seemed to have an attitude. We were 10 or 11 minutes late and she said I have to see if the doctor will still see you. I said that fine, then we’ll just have to be rescheduled. She said with attitude. no we’re not going to reschedule you if they can’t see you because he’s missed appointments before. I said well you can’t control being sick. She said again with attitude, well we can’t………. (something, something because at this point I was trying to ignore her. At the very end of it, I said yeah I know) as I was walking to my seat, but then Beth came up and called me to go back. I never had that kind of service from the desk before. I should have dealt with the other girl.

Everyone here is so patient, friendly, responsive, and helpful! They genuinely care about taking care of you and answering any questions you might have, which helps put you at ease during appointments. It’s great that the doctor always checks in after a cleaning to ask if you have additional questions or concerns.

I'm moving at the end of the summer, but I am seriously considering flying back for my dental work in December because this is the most comfortable I've felt in a dentist's office since I can remember. This visit, I had a great new dental hygienist, Alex, who was so wonderful I almost managed to actually relax (which is a feat for me!). I honestly have no complaints, though I probably spent more money than I needed (though still not much) to get all the bells and whistles. Worth every penny, in my opinion.

I've always had trouble with my teeth from as far back as I can remember, and after going through 3 other dentists, two failed root canals, and a bunch of cavities, I found Plaza Dental and... OMG the difference between those other places and Plaza is insane. Dr. Cutrona and his staff are legitimate, professional, and very, very good at what they do. He was able to repair a REALLY bad cavity that we all thought would need a root canal with only a crown and was able to refer me to an endodontist when the root canal that was done by my previous dentist / endodontist was infected. It was able to be repaired without replacing the crown. Pricing is very comparable to the other dentists I've gone to, even without insurance. If you're like me and have neglected going to the dentist for years, this place is probably the one you want.

Everyone in the office is always so nice and helpful. I had a two part procedure done on Monday and Tuesday. The dental hygienist made sure I was confortable throughout and checked in on me during the procedure multiple times to monitor any discomfort. She did such a wonderful job that there was literally NO discomfort, which is the exact experience that you want when you're in a dentist's chair! She was quick, thorough and efficient and she took the time to answer all of the questions I had. She did an excellent job of preparing me for what to expect and gave detailed instructions for aftercare. I've moved about 30 minutes away and am still going to use Plaza Dental simply because of their professionalism and excellent care.

I transferred here after a first visit with another dentist that didn't catch a major issue I knew I had and could be clearly seen on x-rays. I have found everyone working here, from reception desk staff to the dentist himself, to be very knowledgeable and friendly! Dr. Cutrona makes sure to always ask if I have questions or concerns and has referred me to specialists as needed. The dental assistants/hygienists I've had have been extremely knowledgeable and courteous as well.

I love this place! Everybody was super friendly! The only negative was they put the wrong info in my chart and quoted me for implants when I only needed a crown, which is waaaayyyyy cheaper then implants. The was in 2019 but I've been back a few times since then and they fixed the mess up and now everything is fine! Again, I love this place. Doc is super friendly and knows what he is doing.

I have been going to plaza for almost 5 years and I have never had a bad experience, even when I had to get debridement and a crown. The staff is professional, friendly and helpful and they explain everything fully. They’re always willing to answer any questions and talk through procedures and pricing before charging you. I live about 40 minutes away now and refuse to change dentists because of how amazing they are.

MY FIRST VISIT WAS EXEMPLARY. Pleasant staff, not crowded, clean atmosphere. I Am highly impressed with the service I received. Work to be performed was explained indepth with an estimate in writing for services upcoming. My technician (BECKY) was the most pleasant person I've come across in a business setting since COVID started. No one seems to care about the customer anymore, which makes you reluctant to participate in situations of this nature. I have cancelled maybe 5 dental appointments since March 2019 because I couldn't forsee going back to my previous dentist. Dr cutrona always took my concerns seriously and when I had a major prosthodontic need he referred me to a specialist. My wife also got a referral to an oral surgeon for a need she had. It's nice to have a dentist that doesn't try to keep all the revenue in house and isn't afraid to call in specialists when needed. He gave me good advice and we appreciate him and his team!

i have been going to PLAZA DENTAL for years i picked it from my dental plane retired 1998 i have been through all their transitions and i have stayed yes they had not so good staff but not enough to chain dentist i have always received good care from the technicians to the different Dentists friendly and professional my recent visit was a great i was late they stated they would do what they could due to time so i agreed they finished my appointment completely no rushing very happy patient yes i would recommend Plaza Dental

I greatly enjoyed my interactions with the dentist and staff at Plaza Dental Center. I do have a few qualms about my experience though... 1) They charged me $10 for a PPE fee for their staff to wear paper masks and gloves. However, often people working on teeth are already wearing masks and gloves. Thought this price was ridiculous. 2) I felt like the amount of x-rays that were done were unnecessary. They did not ask me if I wanted the whole scope done or if my last dentist had film of my teeth they could send over. This resulted in me unnecessarily getting charged for x-rays that I had done 6 months ago at my last dentist.. Frustrating! 3) I was also slightly annoyed with a $5 OSHA fee that was added to my bill. I have stellar health insurance that has served me so well. My colleagues with the same care went to other dentists in the St. Louis metro for $0-$10 to establish care. And I was charged $45. I feel as if I was nickle-and-dimed under the name of "establishing care". I may feel this way because I do not understand insurance billing fully, I will own that. But I wish communication would've been clearer!

I had to have a considerable amount of work done due to my own negligence. Every aspect of the service here was amazing. From the procedures to figuring out how to finance all of it, they were amazing. They are conveniently located and are super flexible with making appointments. It is hard to find a dentist where you can describe the experience as "pleasant", this is certainly one of those places.

Exceptional Service all the way around. Dr. Cutrona performed a miracle by saving my very infected tooth. The root canal performed was flawless. The team, specifically, Lisa, Hannah, Erin, and Stacy put me at ease. Everybody was very nice, and accommodating. Among many positive things the clinic is very clean. Subsequently because of this I had no worries about hygiene problems. I was also very impressed with the billing department because I was told about the price up front. I thought this was very unique because I am used to being told how much the cost is after the services have been performed ( pay now or go right into collections). I fully recommend this clinic because you will be treated well by everyone, not just by the dentists.

I am, and always have been, extremely pleased with the service provided at Plaza Dental. The staff is always been extremely friendly and professional dental care provided. They have always gone out of their way to ensure that I fully understand the procedures needed as well as associated costs (which are very reasonable with insurance) and have gone out of their way to make sure that I am comfortable. I've now had a full three page report of dental work done (including three crowns, wisdom tooth extractions and a plethora of fillings) and I'm just waiting on my final crown. I have been a patient of Dr. Cutrona for 2 years and it sounds silly, but I'm actually a little upset that I'm basically done with my procedures! Now I won't have an excuse to go over there and hang out under the drill! At least there's always my bi-annual tooth cleaning. The staff is always very accessible by phone and have never hesitated to provide me with information requested directly to my email inbox, which is something a lot of places would not take the time to do. I thoroughly enjoy my visits and chats with their crew, even when the drill is in my mouth. Dr. Cutrona is outstanding and always makes sure that both he and I are 100% satisfied with my dental work. I wish I knew more people in St. Louis (after moving up here from Texas), because I would certainly go out of my way to recommend Plaza Dental to them.

May 7th: I had 3 fillings done at Plaza today. I walked out of there thinking, "that was a pleasant experience." Obviously a bazaar reaction to a dental appointment, it speaks to how remarkable this office is. I have had over 20 cavities and subsequent fillings. I had fillings in my baby teeth. Despite, or maybe because of, all this experience in the dentist's chair, I am a total wimp when it comes to tools and drills in my mouth. In general I have been really disappointed by the insensitivity of most dentists to the pain and discomfort of their patients. The dentists at Plaza are the complete opposite. I had a lady dentist, and she was SO NICE! And gentle! She explained everything she was doing as she did it, she was quick, and she didn't make me feel like a jerk for being apprehensive about the procedure. I really can't recommend this place enough. Also, the hygienists really seemed like they knew what they were doing. ok June update: Here is a downside to Plaza Dental: when they call you, they block caller id. In general, if the point of a call is to contact the caller, or, failing to contact him or her, deliver a message or solicit a return call, this goal is frustrated by the policy of having the number come up as "unknown" or "blocked." I don't think I am unusual in generally not picking up calls from numbers I don't know or can't ascertain (I have to judge whether the call is important enough for me to stop doing what I'm doing. No information = no, not important.) Once a message has been left, I check it less quickly and return the call more slowly. The last effect is due to the the fact that returning calls from blocked numbers requires extra steps. Plaza dental, what is your average pick up the phone rate? how long does it take, generally, for people to return calls? I will bet $20, if you unblock caller id, more people will pick up and you will get calls returned more quickly. Blocking caller id is a vaguely creepy move. Who blocks caller id? Debt collectors, prank phone callers, out of state sales calls and angry exes. In short, people that want something from you they know you don't want to give. You want customers to think fondly of your business, don't put yourself in an unpleasant category. That's $20 worth of consulting right there.

This is my first time ever writing a review online, but I felt a need to. A few years ago I was just beginning college and my teeth were in a bad state! Various issues that needed a lot of work! Plaza dental really worked with me to find efficient and affordable means of getting things done. In multiple situations they established and proceeded with plans that were relatively spontaneous... not because I offered to pay them extra, but simply because they realized I was need. There was one particular situation in which they noticed I needed extra work and did not charge me for it at all. I have Dr. Cutrona to thank for that. They have always had a very friendly environment I've always felt comfortable and confident with the staff!

I received excellent dental care from this office, however I received some misleading information that cost me $540. During a routine exam, the hygienist determined I needed a root canal soon. I was planning to switch dental insurance so when I later called to schedule the procedure I asked if it would be better to wait until I had the new insurance or do the procedure with my existing insurance. They told me the cost would be similar with either insurance company, both covering a majority. However, I was unaware that my insurance company had a mandatory waiting period before they cover root canals, and Plaza Dental failed to verify this policy when they gave their cost estimate. Hence, I chose to have the procedure right away. Two weeks after the root canal I received a bill for the entire cost and that was when I discovered the mandatory waiting period policy. I recognize I failed to read all the fine print of my policy, but was both given an incorrect estimate and when I specifically asked if it would be cheaper to wait or not was erroneously told no. Rather than requiring each patient to independently verify coverage in this opaque system, it would be better if the insurance company and dental office exchanged sufficient information to provide accurate estimates.
