I’ve had an excellent experience here over the years. The staff is very personable and friendly, the type of place that remembers the last conversation you had with them. Some dental offices can feel sterile and cold, but this place has a warm mom & pop vibe. I’m not a huge fan of having dental work done so this type of setting really puts me at ease compared to other practices I had frequented in the past that provided an overall uncomfortable experience. 5 stars.

I have been asked to leave more dentist offices than you have probably been to in your life. I expressed my deepest fears to friends and neighbors who agreed I would be fine at Borgmeyer. I don't get Novocain for cleanings and fillings. I just hold my hand up when I need a break. From the front desk to the last chair in the back, I was treated with respect and my fears were acknowledged. I used to shake, get sick to my stomach when looking at the calendar knowing an appointment was on the calendar. I go next Monday and here's hoping it's just a cleaning. It was just a cleaning but I had no worries. I wanted an upper denture realignment and because of other dental issues, Dr Sam did what he could and then suggested I continue with the semi liner and said there was no need to waste the $400. I really appreciated that. Thanks Dr. Sam

Trying to get a dentist to take new patient during the pandemic was not an easy task. I had an emergency situation and Borgmeyer accepted me and I am satisfied. Dr Sam was amazing!!! I had a horrible experience with a dentist before which lead me to avoid them all together and this office has definitely changed my mind. I made an appointment for my next visit already. In a time when everyone is practicing distance it was nice to feel welcomed at the office by all staff. The prices were reasonable for the procedure too. Borgmeyer dental has a great staff and exceptional Dr's. My special needs son was in need of dental care. They gave me the treatment plan. I was expecting to be told that he'd need more extensive treatment considering his missing teeth and gum disease. It was a nice surprise to have a DDS just talk about immediate needs. Not starting with we need to replace teeth with bridges and crowns soon. Which I know we'll do in the future. Thank you Dr Borgmeyer.

I've had plenty of dental work in my day, and had to leave a review about my experience at Borgmeyer Dental. In short, it was the best dental experience I've ever had. From the overall expertise and friendliness of Dr. Gus and his staff, to the cleanliness and top notch professionalism during these times of Corona, I couldn't have felt more at ease and confident about my safety and treatment while at BD. And if shots are your concern (like myself), Dr Gus was so proficient, I didn't even feel them (I had three). So, in short, if you're looking for a place to go for your dental needs, look no further-- they are the best!!

Best time I've had at the dentist's. It was almost as though I was in someone's home as relaxed and casual the entire staff was, not to mention the family photographs and kitschy decor. I moved away from the city and still go here because I like it so much. As someone with 4 root canals and 3 turned implants they have the specialists to be able to maintain care for my unique situation. I also used their clear correct orthodontic services after letting my retainer use lag after many years. Easy to interface with, only complication is billing which is complicated anywhere. Hard to tell what insurance covered or not.

I had a really bad issue with my tooth. No other dentist in the area was willing to take me in so fast. Thayer got me in fast. But that was just the beginning. The front office person is so nice. Efficient and kind. The office is eclectic and fun. I was able to talk to just about everybody. Absolutely top-notch crew. Dr. Borgmeyer and sons have been taking care of me since the first tooth-counting at age 5, and the whole way through they have been laser-beam focused on the patient and current best practices of oral hygiene. The scientific integrity of the whole practice is impeccable and never once have I been sold, or overheard someone else being sold a procedure that wasn't critical for the health of the patient or the prevention of something worse. If Dr. Borgmeyer says you need it, you need it-- end of story. Friendly staff, gentle technique, new equipment and decent prices are all added bonuses IMHO, but these are attended to with the same perfectionism evident throughout the whole place. If you need a known reference point or a second opinion, This is your spot, hands down.

I can't believe I just had a dental surgical procedure, and was in and out of the office within about an hour. I've been wanting to get a dental implant for a while now, but faced quite a bit of anxiety about the idea. I'm so happy that I finally had this done though! I will now have a permanent tooth and can be done with removable bridges. Dr. Gus Borgmeyer and his staff explained each detail every step of the way and they had the latest equipment to ensure the most precise placement of the implant. It was quick, easy, and most importantly not painful at all. If you've been considering a dental implant, Dr. Gus is the guy to do it.

Beware of hidden fees and poor workmanship. My insured routine cleaning appointment turned into what they called a deep cleaning. Result was molar and 2 cosmetic fillings pulled with metal hook along with a 750 dollar bill for their work not being covered through private Anthem policy. Still can't chew with left side of mouth. I miss Doc Senior, Doc Jr is running a revised shop now.
