The dentist are amazing and have your best interests and dental outcomes in mind when discussing treatment plans or just general check up appointments. The make you feel that you health and dental care matter to them and they want to insure you are comfortable. They also are upfront with the cost of care. This place is great. I used to hate going to the dentist, but I really don't anymore. The staff is courteous and professional, but also warm and personable. Everyone seems to really love what they do and to enjoy working there. The dentists are great and don't recommend additional work unless it's really necessary--we had been to another dentist in town who told my wife and I we needed over $4,000 of fillings and basically wanted to rework all of our old fillings. When we went to Dental Essence they said we only needed a couple of fillings each and we've been watching everything else for the last several years with minimal work needed. I highly recommend Dental Essence to anyone.

Ok who likes going to the dentist. I do. I’ve been going to Dental Essence for a while now and it is a really great place. Both Dr. Stephanie and Dr. Megan are very amazing. The dentists to the staff are very friendly encouraging and helpful. My hygienist, does such a great job! Office staff goes above and beyond to help you with insurance, billing, and appointments My teeth have never been as good as they are now with their help. I feel better and more confident. I had my first appointment here since moving to Sioux Falls and it was a great experience, all of the staff are friendly and welcoming. Most importantly, the hygienist and dentist were gentle with my teeth, and I experienced very minimal discomfort during my dental cleaning. The dentist was thorough and knowledgeable, and made informed treatment and oral care suggestions. I felt very well taken care of and I’m looking forward to being a long time patient.

The staff is so friendly and accommodating. My dental hygienist (Erica) was gentle, yet thorough, with my cleaning. I haven't had the misfortune of having a cavity yet, so I can only speak to Meaghan Neuberger as being incredibly helpful with suggestions on possibly whitening my teeth and answering my general questions. She talks to me like we're old friends, which puts me at ease. The office was completely redone in recent years too. Great place! I highly recommend 👌

Today was my first time there. From Roxie, being so delightful making my appointment and helping me on the table to get registered. The hygienist, cleaning my teeth, was a little darling Steph the dentist was knowledgeable and fun to visit with. The other sweet hygienist that helped me getting me earrings back in. Today was my first visit and it was the best dental experience I have ever had. Everyone was so kind from the checking in to checking out! Rachel took my X-rays and my cleaning. She explained everything and it was the most gentle cleaning I have ever had! Dr Megan was so professional, informative, upbeat and sweet! Every staff member was kind and welcoming to me. I am a new patient and was a little apprehensive but any ‘jitters’ were quickly allayed as I met with each staff member. There was no pressure to make a return appointment but only encouragement for me to decide based on their exam results. That was ‘huge’ for me because I came from a dental practice that had recently become a cog in a national chain of practices, where pressure was extremely high to add services and procedures to each patient’s visit. One of the best dental offices I have ever been too! Dr. Schmitz and her assistant were very kind and caring! When I had to get a cavity filled, I didn’t even feel any pain or discomfort. They would often check in with me during the visit to make sure that I was doing okay and not feeling any pain. They were a great team and worked well together - it was like they knew each other’s next move! So efficient and great at what they do! Not that I ever want to get a cavity filled again, but if I have to, I would definitely go back to Dental Essence!

When you walk in the door you will feel like you are being cared for!! The staff will greet you immediately and do all of the intake information with a kind pleasant manner. They will listen to any of your concerns and make you feel comfortable. The doctor and staff will treat your mouth gently. They will go above and beyond to make your experience comfortable. They will also only do what is needed and be honest! I am grateful for their expertise and willingness to help make my whole families dental experience pleasant. I will add before going to Dr. Meagan and staff; I hated going to the dentist. I now actually find it a very pleasant relaxing experience!

Originally found this dentist because my work changed dental plans and very few dentists in Sioux Falls were in network. They were an in network dental provider that accepted my insurance. I’ve since changed jobs and have much better dental benefits with a much larger in network provider base to choose from. Even though I have many options now, I would never change dentists. Dr. Meaghan and her staff are fantastic and have done an amazing job updating their office. Friendly group that are really good at what they do.

I just had my six month checkup and cleaning at Dental Essence on 03/28 and I couldn't be happier. It is interesting how much I look forward to going to the dentist. It all starts as soon as I open the door and I am welcomed by Mika. She immediately knows who I am and welcomes me with a smile, but she has known my name since my very first visit, which was at least 5 years ago. Next, Sara, comes and gets me from the waiting room, where I tell her I've been sitting forever, but it has actuallly only been about two minutes. I love giving Sara a hard time because she can dish it back when she gets me in the chair! All through my cleaning, Sara and I discuss all kinds of topics and we are both interested in what each of us have been doing over the past six months since my previous visit. She usually asks questions and knows just when to pull out the suction so I can respond. After my cleaning, Meaghan, who is just as pleasant to speak with as everyone at Dental Essence, will come in and check my teeth to make sure that I do not have any problems. Luckily I don't and haven't for years, but this is to their great credit! They always ask each time if I have been brushing at least twice a day and flossing once a day. Before going to Dental Essence, I brushed my teeth, but I did not floss very often. Ever since I have started going there, I find myself striving to make them proud of my oral health. I think this is all thanks to the team at Dental Essence for making me feel like a member of their family. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a dentist to make an appointment at Dental Essence. I am sure you will begin to look forward to going to the dentist as I now do! Everything from the comforting decor to the gentle toned staff to the cleaning or procedure being done that day made me feel as though I was still at home. Plus, your family, covered! They have plenty of strategies that the knowledgeable hygienist utilize to get your entire family in and out with friendly organized services that will have you set up for your next visit and well on your way to helping you meet whatever desire it is your seeking. To be honest, my teeth aren't straight, they weren't white and my mouth certainly didn't have the healthy gum structure it does after now revisiting several times. Great comfort vibes for those who may be hesitant because they let their plague or gum disease get to bad.. well people, that doesn't matter to them, the near future progress is what I truly believe they compel themselves to see with every customer.
