Professional, Courteous and Experienced in dental care. During the course of my cleaning I was regularly informed as to what the technician was doing and was also educated on what I can do to take better care of my teeth and gums. The dental technician was extremely thorough and I immediately felt and saw the difference in my mouth. I am very pleased with this practice.

Kathleen was the name of my hygienist and she was super knowledgeable. She even recommended some exercises for my tongue thrust due to sleep apnea. She used a quiet warm water dental sprayer to get the stains off my teeth and it was so much better then those old loud high pitched devices that grind gritty polish into every crevice and take hours to leave. She also used a suction device that was shaped like a leaf and it was comfortable unlike the clear plastic hook like suction devices that don’t work nearly as well and can be uncomfortable at the wrong angle. If you hate the sounds of high pitched dental cleaning equipment this is the place to go.

Had an enjoyable first appointment at Greenlake Dental this morning! I chose to schedule here after reading plenty of good reviews. It was a little bit of a wait to get in, I am sure it is due to the pandemic, but worth it! My dental hygienist, Brianna, was sweet, relatable and read my energy well. She honestly made the experience. We had some laughs, good lo-fi music, and I was encouraged to put in my headphones if I wanted. Dr. Rodriguez was warm and welcoming, very gentle and worked quickly! So happy to find a great local dentist!

This was my first visit and the whole process was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly from reception, to my hygienist Jennifer and to Dr. Chang himself. Everyone spent time with me to make sure I understood everything that was going on and that I felt comfortable the whole time. Covid policies were in practice including temperature checks, hand washing, and masks. I felt very safe and liked after the entire time. I left with a lovely new patient goodie bag which was the cherry on top to an already great experience. I would highly recommend Greenlake Dental!

Nothing but stellar service from Green Lake Dental. I went mid-pandemic last year and they took excellent precautions to make me feel safe and responsible. Making an appointment was easy and the office was a short walk from my apartment! I had a small cavity which they were able to take care of on the spot! My mother woke up with a pain associated with dental work that was done by a different dentist in another state. She called Greenlake dental around 10 am and the same day was given an appointment to see her dentist. We arrived at our appointment time, the staff follows their Covid protocols and when it was my mothers turn to check in, she was the only one in the lobby. My mother was greeted with a smile and checked in and the dentist saw her at her appointment time. We have made an appointment to take care of her issue caused by a different dentist and the price is less than the work done before. Greenlake Dental is a great place to get dental work done, professional and they make my mother feel welcome, she is very happy with them.

My first experience at Greenlake Dental was great. I went in for a regular cleaning and to have them re-glue my permanent retainer. They were very transparent about the cost of everything and made sure to get my approval before fixing the retainer. They were also very honest about pre-cavities and did not make me feel pressured to get them filled right away. Glad I finally found my go-to dentist in Seattle!

Most pleasant dental experience I’ve ever had. I’v had some terrible times with dentists in the past, (not being numb enough, etc.), but this was awesome start to finish. Dr. Rodriguez and assistant Jennifer were great. No pain and extraction and placement of graft material was completed in slightly more than an hour. Had a great experience at Greenlake Dental. I was a little nervous going into this appointment as I hadn’t been to the dentist in a few years and had only ever been to my childhood dentist. I was pleasantly surprised! They were super meticulous and caring in their work. They took photos of all of my teeth and went through them with me pointing out any problem spots and past fillings without judgement. Felt very informative and gave me more of a sense of responsibility in caring for my teeth. I went in a week later for some fillings which were nice and quick and they showed me the before and after pictures, which again was great to see and be informed on what’s happening in my own mouth. I liked how Dr. Choi explained what she was doing as she was doing it especially in the filling appointment when I was a little more nervous. A week after that I felt like on one side my fillings were still a little high and my bite was not quite back to normal even though I thought it felt fine leaving the appointment. I emailed them about my concern and they got me in next day. I was in and out in less than 10 mins and now my bite is feeling great! Overall a surprisingly great experience. Dr. Choi and the staff are all super personable and friendly. I think it’s important to be able to go to these appointments and not feel shame for not having perfect dental care while still being encouraged to do better.

I went to Greenlake Dental for the first time the other day. Everyone in the office was extremely friendly. I ended up needing two fillings which was going to take longer than expected, so they asked me if I could wait for a bit so they could finish up with other clients then have time to do both of my fillings. It was a long wait but they were super friendly about it, thanking me and bringing me tea. She did a great job with the fillings, spent her time with me to make sure the mouth guard fit after, and the best part - she constantly was thanking her assistant. They all appreciate each other. Very impressed, I highly recommend.

I have needed to find a dentist and after looking at the background of Dr Chang I saw a very experienced Dentist and educated and a teacher . My first appointment was very good. I had a broken crown . The detail that was taken to create a new crown I saw immediately. When the crown was put in it fit perfectly. That sealed the deal for me. I have come back now for a complete exam and the detail using modern technologies allowed some serious problems to be discovered and a treatment plan was suggested. My son needed to see a dentist in an emergency. He got hurt. His pediatric dentist were already closed for the day. My wife called Greenlake Dental ( they are her dentist ) and explained the situation. They were able to see him immediately. My son is 5 and very afraid of doctors and dentists, but he did great. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the place was cosy and clean. Dr Kirkland (I hope this is the right name, I couldn’t confirm via the website) was very friendly and addressed my concerns. I’ve never been able to see my own teeth before, and the fact that they took pictures for us to discuss and compare was fantastic! It tickled me that the dental X-ray machine plays a little jingle to entertain you while it’s taking images of your mouth. They provided me with an estimate for the upcoming treatments we had discussed, which has been difficult to obtain from previous dentists. I very much appreciate that they were able to see me and thank them for being open and putting themselves at risk during a pandemic (with the appropriate safety precautions in place) so that I could get my dental care.

Definitely recommend! I really liked Dr. Marcus and her staff. They were straight forward, honest, kind, and good at their respective jobs. Getting an appointment was really easy, even just a few days out. Checking in and out were painless. I was also impressed with all the technology in their office (she showed my cavity on the screen that they had just taken a picture of) and she did a filling and it was so painless I didn’t even need to be numbed.

All my life of 67 years I had been to different dentist. Unfortunately not all dentist are equally competent and professional. I need dentures. But all the dentist I visited wants to pull all my teeth including the healthy ones. Dr. Chen save the healthy ones to provide an anchor to my dentures. This is better because the dentures are more stable and don't require sea bond adhesive. Saving teeth also slows down down or prevent bone loss. I want to thank Greenlake dental for the professionalism and extremely good quality of work done. The dentures fit perfectly. Last 20 years I never smile. My first smile is to my dentist which made me the happiest man on this planet. Special thanks also to the staff. Makes you feel not a customer but a family member. Green lake gave me a thorough cleaning and left my teeth looking and feeling extremely clean. They scheduled me for my next appointment as well as an orthodontic consultation to review staightening my teeth. This location is dental plus orthotics in one. So super plus to that! All of the staff and Dr.s there are extremely friendly and the main lady that runs the check in/out desk is very knowledgeable of insurance policies and will inform you about the most efficient ways to use it. I’m now getting 4-5 cleanings a year instead of 2 on my policy for a very great rate that I never would’ve known about! Thank you so much to the Greenlake Dental team!☺️

I like how Dr Chang don't keep you waiting and he's fairly quick. The staff is amazing and very friendly. The exam rooms are tiny but Dr Chang gets the job done. I also like that Dr Chang doesn't cut corners. The process is a process and he makes sure you get the best out of his dental work versus being in a rush. They work with you when life happens and have been gracious to reschedule without a fee when a cancellation is out of your control. I really like this dental office. Doctors and staffs are very nice, courteous, and patient. I am afraid of shots, but Dr. Chang shot doesn't hurt. The office is warm and clean. I had implant work done and I am quite satisfy with it. While waiting for the gum to heal, I had a partial made which fit very well, much better than the one I had before. Dr. Rodriguez was so gentle cleaning my teeth, and they feel so good now. They have a giant tv screen where they show you your teeth on the screen and I was amazed to see a cavity sitting there looking all gross. I love the tv screen! I really like this dentist office and have been going there for three years. Nothing but good experiences. Also, this last cavity Dr. Kirkland did was so easy! She did a perfect job of numbing my mouth and not getting that nasty tasting prenumbing solution all over like other doctors have done.

Today I had the pleasure of being treated by Dr. Mijin Choi and her assistant (so sorry I don’t remember her name). Background: I had yet to establish a dentist since moving to Seattle 2 years ago, and was due for a cleaning right when I moved, so it had been a solid 2.5 years since I had been to the dentist. I was a tad nervous, obviously, for what the verdict would be.... Experience: - they were able to get me in much sooner than other dentists I had inquired with (some more than a month out). I think my appt was set for ~ 2 weeks after my inquiry. - Dr. Choi was present for nearly the entire appt (save the time it took her assistant to take the x-rays/pictures of my teeth since I was a new patient), which I was not used to and was a refreshing change. - Dr. Choi and her assistant were so bright and bubbly, very relaxing presences. - they let me pick the music (!!!) - they showed me pictures of my teeth/mouth on a very large tv which was honestly both terrifying and... educational? - everything was explained clearly and thoroughly, no surprises here! - I did end up having 2 cavities that needed fillings. I liked that she went through and showed me (on that *slightly* terrifying TV I talked about) on the pictures what she saw and what it meant. - she was able to do those 2 fillings THAT DAY. like right away. And I was able to get out of there in an hour and a half. Not bad at all for my first dentist appt in over 2 years, plus two fillings! Overall it was definitely the best experience I have ever had at the dentist and I will 100% be returning. Cheers!

Staff is very attentive and friendly. I was undergoing severe tooth pain in the middle of the night and a staff member picked up at about 3 am in the morning to schedule an appointment on the same day, despite how busy they were. I can really appreciate that. I went in for a consultation which was almost free considering I had my panoramic x-ray readily available from my dentist out of this country. The consultation was reasonable and catered towards my budget. There's really nothing more I could ask for. I think I may have finally found my primary dental clinic in Seattle.

My latest visit finally tipped the "take the time to write a review" scales for me, which are hard to tip!! They have a new dentist (Dr. Marcus) who is AMAZING. She is truly an artist. She replaced a filling for me, and the entire experience was easy and painless -- even the injection of novocaine, which is usually extremely unpleasant for me! She used exactly the right amount and my lip wasn't even a little bit numb or swollen when I left. She molded and filed the filling to match my other teeth perfectly, and I can chew better than ever. Everyone working here is kind, competent, and on-time (no waiting at all). The staff go out of their way to make sure you're comfortable and address any concerns promptly. I had a laser frenectomy here and the entire process took about 20 minutes (5 minute exam, 10 minutes to get numb, and then 5 minutes of lasing). I think the worst part was the needle, but Dr. Chang even made that quick and easy. He warned that I might be sore for a few days, but it was nothing that ibuprofen couldn't handle.

"Dr. Chang numbed me up, fixed the filling and I was literally driving away within 20 minutes! Amazing." I've been coming here for a few years now, in "spurts." For my last visit, I was running quite late (30 minutes). I called ahead to let them know, and they were able to still see me. The appointment was to fix a filling. They got me in, Dr. Chang numbed me up, fixed the filling and I was literally driving away within 20 minutes! Amazing. I'm sure this particular filling was a smaller job than most fillings, but I've never experienced a dental appointment that actually accomplished the job and got me out that fast. Aside from just overall competence and feeling confident in Dr. Chang as a dentist, one small thing that signals to me that he's an experienced dentist is his technique when applying novocaine. He has a knack for getting it in the right spot, using pressure with his finger so it isn't very painful, and he massages the area a little as it's going in to spread it around quicker (which also keeps it from swelling in the area around the needle). I noticed this right away from my first visit with him, although I never mentioned anything about it. Most dentists I've experienced had to put the needle in 2 or 3 times, in different areas, and it always hurt a little more. The first time Dr. Chang applied novocaine to me, although I appreciated the one-time shot and less pain, I wondered if maybe he just didn't do enough and if the procedure was going to be painful because I would still feel something. Because I hate needles, it was a dilemma - should I say anything and get another needle shot, or see how it goes and hope for the best? It worked out the first time, but I wasn't sure if it was just a fluke. But then it worked out the second time, and then every time, and now I understand that it's because he's an experienced and good dentist; I have a lot more faith and confidence in him because of this small thing. Honestly, for that reason alone, I cringe at the thought of trying another dentist and possibly going back to feeling more needle pricks and swelling before the novocaine spreads out on its own. I think this also speeds up the numbing process, making the whole procedure faster. Maybe that's why I had my fastest visit ever to a dentist on my last visit! High praises for Dr. Chang! PS - I read the two negative reviews, and I don't understand either of them ... who complains about a dentist "only" working on two teeth at a time for one visit? And if you have a hard time finding the location, well, for one thing, it should only be hard to find once, because if you can't find it after you've already been there once, you have other issues ... and for another thing, how can people complain so much about everything BUT the quality of the dental service? I didn't see a single complaint about the quality of dental service, and yet both reviews gave one star. I own a small business myself, and I just hate seeing reviews like this. If you're going to give just one star, you'd better have damn good reasons for it, because you're screwing with someone's livelihood. Hopefully people will be able to see the shallowness in those reviews and ignore them, this dentist is worth a shot.
