Love this dentist! Everyone was friendly, from the front staff to the staff in the back. We switched to this dentist after moving/ having a bad experience at our last dentist. Dr Alex and his staff were so kind, they showed the kids the tools they were using, let them kids hold and use the tools as well. He was very informative and patient. My son happened to have a few cavities and Dr. Alex never put the blame on us, just gave us straight information and what we can do to help in the future. We are so grateful we made the switch!

Every single time we are here, the staff is AMAZING. Our kids are happy and comfortable and the doctors talk to us is such a manner that we feel more confident that we have the right knowledge to take better care of their teeth. We always are seen on time, have ample reminders of the appointment so we cancel or reschedule if need be, and followup appointments are booked while you are here so that I can work it around my schedule ahead of time. I wish they took adults!

Allison saw Dr. Alex today! From the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left, it was such an amazing experience. The front desk ladies were amazing and so patient and kind as I juggled the chaos that accompanied me. The hygienists were so friendly and her teeth were a beautiful pearly white. The XRay tech took the fear out of her first set of photos!!! The atmosphere screams comfort of a child and makes the whole dental visit something she will look forward to! And yay for NO CAVITY CLUB!!!! Now, We have the chaos I speak of previously. My 3-year-old, Max, was screaming from the second we got out of the car until I drug him through the door as he fought tooth and nail to avoid what he thought was the worst thing he was ever going to encounter. When I finally got him in the door, he was greeted by two very kind, patient, and compassionate ladies at the front desk. He then noticed the bubbles rising behind a seating area and he decided this situation may not be as dire as his first analysis. After lots of smiles and signing all the electronic paperwork (which is AMAZING that I don't have to wrestle that and kids at the same time because I did it while they were sleeping) we were quickly called to the back by another lovely smiling young lady and taken to a room with DINOSAUR CHAIRS!!!!!! The wonderfully kind and compassionate hygienists then proceeded to show him what all the tools would feel like on his little hands and he relaxed more and more as we were there! They even took my two little ones (3 and 4) at the same time for their cleanings while his big sister got her X-rays done! in and out in a jiffy! Dr. Alex was WONDERFUL! He sang to my kids while he did their exams and calmed their nerves. He gave me tips to get my son using the correct toothpaste too! and we have a celebration for #2 in the NO CAVITY CLUB! WOOOOOO!!!! Last but certainly not least, my four-year-old Bethanie. Bethanie had to wait until now for her first dental visit. She finished Chemotherapy for Childhood Cancer, less than a week ago and we wanted to clear it with her oncologist first. I was so incredibly nervous as she had not seen a clinician other than her oncologist in quite some time and she is immunocompromised still. On my first phone call to PVPD, I knew I was going to the right place. I explained our situation and was assured the doctors have encountered and worked with high-risk patients. I walked in the door and knew they had actually read the information on my children's forms as they knew I had a child who was recently undergoing difficult treatment. The ladies at the front desk amazed me by not thinking twice when I asked for masks to be worn when anyone was in the room with my kids. They instantly put masks on themselves and were so sweet and assured me I wasn't being ridiculous. I also watched them bring out freshly sterilized tools for each of my children and even clean thoroughly between every child. They explained EVERYTHING that was happening from the cleaning to exam to X-rays. Dr. Alex also sang to her while he checked her teeth and was very informative of what COULD (not would) happen down the line after undergoing chemo. And we can't forget....... #3 in the NO CAVITY CLUB! WOOOOOO!!!!! Conclusion of this visit: 100 out of 10 would recommend! I was blown away by the care my kids received and the compassion pouring out of the walls of this practice! The cleanliness and professionalism are top-notch!

I really enjoy coming here. I have two kids one's 21 months old, the others 3 years old. So needless to say it's certainly a handful going to doctor's appointments. They make going to the doctor fun, Dr. Olga is great with my boys. Really distracts them playing games during the exam. The staff is always friendly. They have plenty of items in their office to entertain and occupy the boys as they're waiting. Thank you Palm valley for everything you do!

Loved every single person we spoke to. Dentist was great and didn’t pressure us to get X-rays for our 9 month old. Incredible office. Can I go here?! Dental chairs are shaped like dinosaurs and waiting room has sooo much to do! Screens for playing, cute little chairs, arcade and more! So much for my baby to look at while we waited. But we didn’t even wait more than 2 minutes to get in. Were probably in the actually room for less than a minute before the dentist saw us. 10/10 experience for our first time taking our baby to a dentist!

PVPD has such an inviting office that aims to make the kids feel comfortable, and it works! My 3 year old son really enjoys going and feels so brave after he is done. He knows that the people there are nice and will be gentle when looking at his teeth. He feels special when he gets a certificate for having no cavities! And of course, he really looks forward to the lobby toys before the appointment and the prize wheel after. PVPD figured out a way for children to enjoy going to the dentist. The staff are polite, professional, and organized; making sure 6 month appointments are on the books before you even get there. I am really glad we found this practice.

Both my kids love coming here not only are the rooms inviting but they have computers and a playroom for the kids. The staff is super friendly and amazing. The dentist is great the always explain what they are doing before they do I think that really helps so they aren't surprised. We have been for about 6 years. We absolutely love this dentist office. During the pandemic, our daughter split her lip open. We called Palm Valley Dentistry and got Dr Olga. She gave us her personal cell to send her pictures of our daughter’s lip. Luckily we didn’t have to take her to the ER and she healed on her own. My family and I recently moved to Arizona, from Hawaii and we were looking for a kid friendly dentist for my four children ages, 5, 7,13 and 16. We were recommended by a family friend. We scheduled appointments for the Surprise location the staff was very friendly and patient with all info I asked. I recommend just calling the phone number to schedule your appointments. My children were all seen together for cleaning and they worked with getting my children appointments back to back when they had to have their treatments done. Very quick and efficient. I would definitely recommend this place if you have a lot of children, they really do accommodate your family and were very patient with me.

We love coming here. We've been coming here since my daughter was 2. Dr. Alex and Dr. Olga are fire. Dr. Olga had to extract my daughter's two front teeth and cap the back ones it she did it with such finesse and speed. It was quick and painless. Highly recommended. The quality of customer service is unparalleled. They have a nice play area with an arcade console and toys. Love it!!!!

The entire staff was phenomenal, the office was perfectly child friendly, and Dr. Olga extracted my daughters tooth quickly, and as painlessly as possible. This place has the nicest staff and drs. Always clean and very accommodating. They explain everything very well with good details so we know exactly whats going on. If a mistake is made its fixed asap and nicely. They have such cute rooms/areas for the little kids to help them feel safe and comfortable including a play area in the waiting room games and toys and a cool water tube thing at the entrence They have cute character chairs in some of the rooms for the little ones and every room has a tv that the kids can watch on the roof. This place is what i wish my own dentist was like as a kid. Its awesome and id recommend them to everyone.

Brought my son a week later for his first visit and had to wait an extra 15 min past my appt time if I wanted a Dino chair (he’s 4) and then had teeth cleaned and waited another 15 min for the doc to finally come in. Didn’t offer to take his picture for the no cavity club like they did my daughter. Appt was at 2:30 and finally got out at 3:15 and for a kid cleaning visit that is a long time.

Dr. Alex and his staff were the best. Very friendly, patient, and compassionate. My 6 year old needed and extraction for a tooth that was hurting her and they were able to schedule us for the same day; within the hour after her cleaning. Dr. Alex was able to put her at ease and the procedure was over just a few minutes after it started. I really liked the way he went about dealing with and comforting her. He explained everything to her step by step, and she was very receptive to that and stayed calm the entire time. I also really like being able to stay in the room while the extraction was done. Really liked he had two female staff members assist him and the layout of the room, which is open. This is truly the best dentist I’ve seen in dealing with kids. I recommend the office, staff, and Dr. Alex to other parents. You will be satisfied and impressed!

I’ve been with palm valley for a couple of months so far and for the most part my experiences have been great. My son is only 21 months so I’ve only had two visits. The first one I was waiting for a good bit but once I was called it went fairly quick and smooth. The second I was waiting maybe a max of 15 min in the waiting room and maybe 10 min in the dentists office. We were in and out with 45 minutes total which I was hoping would be a quick appointment since my son had just woken up and didn’t have anything to eat yet. The staff are very friendly and Dr Alex was really nice. Great with my son. All in all I don’t see why I wouldn’t continue to go here, they are great!

I have three children and the practice schedules all three of their appointments at the same time. We are always in and out in a very timely manner and they are very efficient! I really appreciate that I am able to go back and hear what the nurses and the doctor has to say about each of my children all at once. As a mother, it makes the experience very pleasant for me and for my children. There is no waiting in between each check up. More importantly, the staff is very pleasant and gentle with my children. Today was my sons first visit at the dentist and he was extremely nervous! He didn't let anyone see his teeth or anything. Being pregnant the assistant and the doctor had to hold him and after that he was great. The doctor brushed his teeth and did the exam with no issue. Doctor sang to him and was telling him how good of a job he was doing the entire time. Doctor even made himself aware right away by reading his chart of my sons past medical history. We had moved to Az from NY over the summer so this was not only my sons (almost 3) first time at a new doctor but also his first time going to a dentist. The moment we walked in the girls up front were very sweet. My son gravitated right towards the bubble machine in the waiting room which kept him occupied even though he was nervous. We got called right on time. The second he saw the dinosaur chair I could see the anxiety disappear from his face and he asked if he could climb on. Everything that was going to happen was explained to us and the way my son was examined was child friendly and elicited absolutely ZERO tears which was amazing. Even the way he was held was just so comforting and just showed that their expertise wasn’t just in dentistry but in what is appropriate and soothing for children as well. The balloon, tooth care items, rubber duck and certificate were the icing on the cake (sugar free icing of course-haha). When we got in the car my son said “mommy I Love the dentist!” It was music to a toddler moms ears. Amazing experience all around. Thank you so much!!!!

I like how they explain to our boys why they need to do certain things and what happens if they don't. Our last Dentist (in a different state) said our youngest would need braces by age 8 or 9 years old. Only reason this is a 3 star review vs a 5 star is that there was no prevention education demonstrated to my children (which to ME is highly important and where oral health starts, having a professional tell you just HOW important these thing are vs nagging mom is critical for young minds) as in how to properly angle brush/ floss/ what to look for ext. there also was no positive reinforcement like keep up the good work/ keep trying your best etc. just straight business which is fine for some, I’m sure, just not me.. ended up showing them YouTube videos to fill in the missing information. Had this missing info been address, 5 stars all the way.

We have had both of my daughters here and I was really impressed. My older daughter had no problems with her teeth what so ever so we didn´t have any worries. She had Dr. Olga and we are pleased with her work. However our younger daughter has several cavities and is also more sensitive so she has Dr. Lisa who is very caring and patient with the explanation to her patients (parents). She also breaks it down to layman´s terms which is really helpful. It is obviously much easier to treat the more cooperative patients better but we appreciate that she attends cordially even the more problematic patients.

We took our daughter in for her first dental visit and I was very impressed with Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry! The front office staff were friendly and very helpful. I loved that their new patient forms are all online, it made the check in process very smooth. Her follow up appointment was already scheduled by the time we were done seeing the dentist. Everything was very streamlined. I received an email right after we checked out with our next appointment date. I noticed there were 2 links in the email, one for if the follow up appointment date and time had no conflicts, and another link for if the date or time did have a conflict with my schedule. I appreciated that it was THAT easy to confirm the appointment or change it if necessary. That was just the office and staff. The dentist, Dr. Lisa, was phenomenal with our daughter. She explained everything she was doing as she was doing the exam. She was patient and let our daughter explore the exam room and tools. Overall, we had a great first experience. Oh, and the office decor is awesome, too. They had a movie playing, an area for little kids to play, a huge bubble tank and what looked like an iPad station with a bunch of tablets. I would definitely recommend Palm Valley Pediatric Dentistry to friends and family.

This place is amazing ! The waiting room, the playroom and back office colors and very kids friendly. My kids loved their visit with Dr Olga, and he made the kids feel welcome and very comfortable. When my 3 year old started to get nervous, they started talking to her, asked her favorite things to do, chose a new move on the roku, and spent enough time to relax her. when the doctor came back, she walked us through every single detail, so that my daughter is aware on what's going on, and didn't have anxious. My son had a dental emergency on a Friday afternoon. I was able to call their on-call emergency number and Dr. Olga picked up immediately. After discussing the injury in detail, she decided we could wait until Monday to come into the office. We did... and my son ended up being fine. Today was our first day going after transferring here from a small town in MI. It was a great experience. We were in & out so quickly despite it being the first appt. I was able to get him back to school with 2 hours still left of school. Everyone was very nice & the office was clean & fun. My son is 10 and I thought it was going to be too "kiddy" for him because he doesn't like a lot of the colorful kid type decors but when I asked him how he felt about it, he said it great and not overly done at all. The waiting room has fun things for the little ones to do including movies, interactive tablets and a little playroom (currently closed :-( thanks alot Covid) the staff are extremely nice and are great at keeping the kids calm. Dr. Olga Dolghier is absolutely wonderful and seems very experienced with young children which is a huge plus and a relief since my daughter is terrified of getting her teeth checked. She gets toys at the end and a no cavity award. This office is a bit out of my way but it is well worth it!

This was our first visit after switching pediatric dentists after pediatric dentist. these guys are located in bell and park-view, very visible from driving on bell rd. We have some special needs having a deaf 4 year old with cochlear implants, her speech and language development is delayed. The staff their was very attentive and patient with us. They did so great care for my three kids! Everyone was friendly and pleasant. We super loved our visit!! I was all shades of apprehensive considering it was my 3.5 years old's first visit to the dentist and I was going with a double stroller to fit our 4month old infant. To my surprise, Palm Valley Pediatrics do have a football field of a space!! This place is huge (by my modest standard :)) . Not only did I have no trouble with my stroller, my toddler had enough 'safe space' to play which kept me calm, and their collection of toys was cute and impressive. To the check up itself, the folks here are definitely trained to care for kids (including super active ones like mine). The medical assistant allowed her time to settle down and run around, till she warmed up enough to be examined. Dr. Olga was courteous and nice, she explained the dental shenanigans to me and answered my questions. We actually scheduled this appt to have a school form filled and I used the opportunity to ask some routine questions. I'll definitely be going back here and will tell my friends to.

We were greeted in a way that was very welcoming and courteous. I appreciate receiving text and email confirmations a week before the visit. I also appreciate that the waiting area has two spaces - one for watching TV and one quiet space for adults who want to read or work. In all of our visits, Dr. Olga met with us in a private space after the procedure to briefly explain the procedure and result and allow time for questions. The overall experience is calm, orderly and inviting, and I will definitely refer the practice to other friends and colleagues with children. My only concern is that I don't think I was made aware of how much out of pocket expense we would have before arriving. It was a lot to pay in one installment and we were expected to pay it all at check-in. In the past I have received a confirmation of the insurance pre-approval before the visit. If I did receive it this time, I don't remember.
