Started going to this dentist for the first time the other month. Got my cleaning and initial inspection done, and the hygienist was pretty excellent all around. But when it came time to do my actual dental work, the dentist himself and his work also seem to be pretty great. For maybe the first time, I have had new fillings installed without my bite feeling weird afterwards. He also took some time to address some other non-cavity issues with my molars that could have caused some trouble down the line. Some of my molars had odd circular structures in them that I'd always been concerned about--what was stopping one of these seemingly fragile circular edges from chipping off or cracking my entire tooth one day (at least this had always been my own concern)? Anyways, these oddities had been there for as long as I could remember, and no other dentist thought to address it, or even call it out as a concern. Who knows--maybe he was just the one to catch them at the right time, prior to impending tooth decay, and see that they should have been addressed. But that, along with my fillings, have given me a fairly positive impression.

Exceptional Dentistry is by far the most outstanding dental practice that I have ever been to in my 45+ years of choosing my own dentist. The entire staff from the receptionist to Ginger my hygienist, to Dr. Torbert my dentist who has done several difficult procedures for me; everyone is very welcoming, warm, caring, comforting, and it is obvious that their goal is patient care not how much money they can make. It is a pleasure to go to the dentist and for someone who is scared to death of dentists that is saying a lot.

They are really awesome. This was my first visit I had a severe tooth ache last night and had no time to schedule an appointment as it was too late at night when I cracked my tooth. I went early morning and they really were very helpful when they saw me in pain They immediately adjusted me with the other patients and all the staff was so friendly , sincere and polite as if I have known them from years. Doctor politely explained to me what procedure he was going to do and did the procedure very gently. He is really good. I would recommend it to everyone who needs help with their tooth problems.

I’ve been with this dentist for many years. He’s so wonderful, I won’t let any other dentist touch my teeth! Dr. Andy truly lives up to the name of his business, EXCEPTIONAL Dentistry. He’s kind, caring, compassionate, gentle, funny, a great listener and phenomenally experienced and skilled. He is very well respected among his industry peers and conducts seminars across the country. You won’t find a better dentist anywhere than Dr. McKamie. His staff is awesome, too. Dr. McKamie and his staff are like family to me! They go out of their way to make me feel welcomed and calm, which means the world to me. You are in VERY capable hands with Dr. McKamie—a kind, compassionate Christian man. He is a longtime accomplished dental doctor and community leader. He is highly respected in his field, and has conducted teaching seminars across the country for fellow dental practitioners. There are very few dental problems Dr. McKamie can’t fix. But if you require a specialist, he knows the best ones in the area and will take care of your referral appointment with the help of his wonderfully efficient administrator, Jennifer. Ginger is my favorite hygienist. She is as sweet and caring as can be, and makes a concerted effort to get to know each and every one of her patients. She’s extremely knowledgeable about her profession, and attends continuing education classes to stay abreast of the latest hygienist care techniques and products. Ginger does a great job of counseling you re: mouth issues and proper home care. She also has a very gentle way of cleaning your teeth, which I so appreciate due to my sensitive, receding gum line. I have no personal connections with this practice other than being a longtime patient of theirs. I’m extremely grateful to have finally found a dental staff in which I have great trust and confidence!

Excellent visit as usual. I do miss not being able to sign-in now but my signature is not that great anyway. After a few minute wait I was greeted at the door by Glenda the Good Tech who escorted me back to my usual recliner and in a couple of minutes my teeth were being expertly rehabilitated while classic songs played in the background and Glenda cracked jokes at just the right moment when I was unable to laugh, talk and sometimes even breathe but it all worked out. Doctor T came in and checked things over and gave me a pass and then Glenda painted my teeth up with some mint fluoride. The only thing that prevents me from giving this six stars...I mean besides there only being five stars, is they don't have bacon-flavored fluoride. Get on that, please!
