Very beautiful modern office! The staff is Not just great, But GREAT Professionals who know what they’re doing. Respectful, Friendly, Sweet and Welcoming is how I describe them! Wendy, my hygienist is a sweet doll and Lina, the dentist who treated me, is a beautiful soul! They made me feel like family and if you’re scared, as I am, to sit on a dentist’s chair, they make your fears will melt. They explained everything in a way that I fully understood. I felt comfortable and relaxed •••REALLY NICE ENVIRONMENT ♥️ THANK YOU ALL‼️

Fabulous dental practice! My dentist of many years was on vacation when I lost part of a filling. Daniela managed to get me in the next day - I was seen by Dr. Koffman who treated me as a long-time patient.She was assisted by Angel who did a great job. I met Dr. Block and had a lovely conversation with him. Sandy was very helpful with my insurance. All of this when they knew that I would return to my regular dentist! This would be the place I would go if I didn't already have a great dentist. If I could give them 50 starts I would.

Patient Friendly Care is a place where I feel myself at home with my family that I love, respect and trust. I've been under dental treatment with them for more than a year, and I thank God for that. Between a lapse in dental insurance, the pandemic, and being a workaholic, I was neglecting my oral health more than I care to admit. But after a re-break on a tooth I broke in high school and a nagging cavity that I ignored for too long, I knew I had to call my dentist. Turns out he retired though, so I had to find a new one. At first I refused to believe that the dentist's office a half a block away from me was also going to be the best option to get my mouth patched up, but I guess things just work out like that sometimes, because the reviews for this place aren't kidding. The team here is kind, compassionate, and exceptionally talented. Front desk is super on top of things - I got calls and texts to remind me of various things (appointments, etc) and that's really helpful because I'd forget my head sometimes if it wasn't attached to my body. They're awesome. Dr. Koffman's got a really precise and careful hand, and the work she did was flawless; her supporting team are all pros that don't miss a beat either. They made quick work of assessing what fixes needed to be done (a crown and a filling) and were super pleasant and chill throughout making those fixes. They have great attitudes and their energy really puts you at ease. Crown looks great, my bite feels the best it has in years, and it's a real relief to finally not have to deal with that pesky cavity anymore. They got my mouth back to 100% and for that I'm thankful. I don't plan on breaking any more teeth, but if I do, I can at least breathe easy knowing I have a good place to get them fixed.

By far the best dental experience I've ever had. I don't know why people are so afraid of the dentist! The doctors are kind, empathetic, and do great work. The doctor was so gentle even during my root canal, and always paused to ask if I was okay or if I needed a break. Professional, kind, and talented. Please give them a visit!

Dr. Block and Dr. Lina are the best dentist I have ever been too I had an emergency and was in so much pain I was took right away they took such good care of me. I had 4 teeth that every dentist wanted to pull and Dr.lina worked miracles and saved all 4 teeth for me. The absolute best dentist experience I've ever had. First time visiting, and it was just a routine cleaning, but couldn't have asked for better service. The two receptionists where very kind and welcoming, and efficient as well. Barely any wait time, and the waiting area itself is nice and clean. I was seen by Dr. Lena, who was also very kind and caring. Asked me about myself before we got into the cleaning, and we had a nice chat afterwards. The assistants were also great with taking my xrays, and assisting with the cleaning. Have definitely found me new dentist!

Excellent experience during my first visit/checkup at Patient Friendly Dental. I was very impressed with being brought in exactly at the time of my appointment, no waiting at all. Dr. Lina was both personable and professional, and she spent the full time with me, compared to other places I have been where the Dentist stops in for less than a minute. Dr. Lina even took the time with me to explain what she was seeing and what the causes were. 10/10 would recommend.

Totally amazing experience at this dentist office. My daughter had been suffering with terrible toothache for about 2 nights (always @nights if you know toothache 😢), I needed a dentist ASAP as in yesterday, so I began googling dental offices and reading reviews. Long story short, I called this dental office and the office staff were so understanding and reassuring, I was able to get an 8am appointment for my daughter on a Sat morning. My teenage daughter HATESSSS dentist.. so I knew I was in for a fight. Guess what???!!!. No fighting today!!! The dentist was so comforting, she Sat with my daughter and kept reassuring her all through the procedure, office staff and support staff were Totally amazing and helpful ❤ 💖... I have found a new dentist for my daughter and myself! Thanks so much everyone 😊. I don't do reviews but I had to do this one to show my appreciation. I’ve been seeing Dr Block for 20 years. My husband recommended him while we were dating, and the dentist I was seeing made me uncomfortable. My husband has been with him longer than he can remember. We have since moved to Long Island (15 yrs ago), and I refused to give him up. My now 16 year old has required several teeth to be pulled, and I won’t bring her anywhere else because she’s only known Dr Block, and trusts him. He is very welcoming and friendly. He puts you at ease, and is very sensitive to any fears you may have. His staff changes from time to time, and new Drs have joined the practice too. Every single person is compassionate and professional. I had to have an implant done several years ago during covid. Tho I never want to go thru that ever again, I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had such a great experience with Dr. Koffman! She was so friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable and at home for my first visit there. I hadn’t been to the dentist in a while (embarrassing) but she was efficient and gentle which was great being that I was so nervous. She even gave me some of my confidence back again with my smile. Can’t thank patient friendly enough for their staff, I was almost sad that I have to wait 6 months again to visit for a cleaning. 10/10

Doctors are nice, office is clean & up to date how ever the young lady at the front desk Danielle I believe her name was is very rude. She was on the phone with another client trying to schedule a appointment as I was leaving my appointment and was so rude to them sucking her teeth & giving attitude (mind you she wasnt the most pleasant person to speak to when I scheduled either) when it was time for her to schedule my next appointment before I left she proceeded to be rude to me. Definitely would not want her to be the first person clients interact with if it was my office

A friend of mine highly recommended Patient Friendly Dental when I had an emergency and my former dentist couldn't accommodate me. I called Patient Friendly Dental and got an appointment the very next day at the most convenient time. When I got to the office I was greeted with the friendliest and most helpful and informative front desk crew and office manager, big plus. Then, after a short wait I was treated by the most amazing, skillful and caring doctors and technicians. It was an absolutely pain-free root canal treatment experience, wow. I'm not sure how common dentist office reviews are but this place absolutely deserves a glowing review. If I could give this place more stars I would! Everyone at this office truely lives up to the "Patient Friendly" name. It had been a while since my last dental check-up and my family recommended this place to me. They were very thorough with the x-rays and cleaning and all of the staff was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The whole office and waiting room were clean and all of the staff wore masks (for those curious). My family has been going here for years and now I can definitely see why. They provide excellent dental care and a welcoming attitude from the moment you walk in ☺️

I typically don't post reviews but feel compelled to give this practice the praise they deserve. I came here as a first time visit for a routine cleaning, x-ray and check up. Everyone was warm and friendly from the reception to the dentist and her colleague. They were very accommodating in fitting me in for a desired appointment, which started on time. Dr. Koffman was thorough in her exam and explanation. The cleaning procedure went smooth. I was also impressed with how clean every room was. Would definitely be returning here.

Let me say that I HATED going to the dentist. Had a few bad experiences over the years and had put off going to the dentist for years. I found this place randomly since I live in the neighborhood and decided to make an appointment. Let me say Dr. Lena is a God sent and made me feel at ease. She explains every procedure that she does in great detail and never gets annoyed by my questions. She did my 2 wisdom teeth extractions, multiple tooth bridge and fixed a cap that another dentist had botched. I had 3 implants done in the office as well and they are top notch almost 2 years later. Sandy is amazing as well and their office staff is go great in general. It doesn't matter where I move to, I will always be returning here for any dental work I need. It was my daughters first time seeing a dentist. We both had the best experience, once we walked in we felt welcomed by the amazing front desk. The waiting area was super clean, they had hand sanitizers through out the office, we felt safe and comfortable, they checked our temperature and our oxygen. There was no waiting time. We went straight into the room, when my daughter went into the room she was so calm, the assistant took her x-rays, the operatories were super sanitary as well. The assistant was sweet, nice, and hygienic she took her time with my daughter. Once Dr. Lina entered the room, she treated my daughter like her own, she was talking to her, explaining to her and me exactly what she was doing so she didn't feel nervous or scared. Today was my second appointment at PFD. The staff really lives up to their name. Everyone is friendly and understanding. I’m somewhat of a nervous patient, but the doctor and their team put me right at ease. Bedside manner is important and not always present at dental offices. Rest assured you will be in good hands under their care. I went in for a number of issues and was given a treatment plan which not only works for my schedule but for my budget as well. I found Patient Friendly Dental based on Google reviews and I think it's only fair for me to come back sharing my experience and might help others like me. They are amazing, 10 out of 10!! I had a toothache on and off for the past few days, I called them in the morning as a new patient and they took me in the same day…cannot imagine how efficient this is! It turned out I need to get one of my wisdom tooth pulled. I had a really bad extraction experience when I was little and being at a dentist' freaks me out. They were just beyond caring and took my insecurity seriously… despite I'm 6'1 and being a grown man. Dr. Koffman, she is not only a doctor, she is a goddess. My extraction was pain-free! Dr. Lena at Block Dental is the best. Actually the whole staff is amazing and attentive. I no longer live in NY but will schedule a cleaning/visit when I’m in town - they’re that good! They won’t do any unnecessary work like other dentists. Highly recommend - worth the travel even if you don’t live in Ridgewood!

Dr. Koffman is the best dentist I have visited and the whole practice has been a fantastic experience. I originally visited with the knowledge that I needed a root canal but was going out of the country for a month in just a few days. They fit me in on short notice and worked to get me out of pain while I was away. Got me in the same week when I returned for the actual root canal. Felt comfortable during the procedure and the whole thing was way better than what I was anticipating. Dr. Koffman made sure I was comfortable and the staff at the front answered my many questions and calls leading up to the appointment. Highly recommend.

Dr. Koffman is my favorite dentist beside my mom; she is so intelligent, kind and has amazing bedside manners. She will never force you to do any procedures that aren't necessary. I always appreciate how accommodating the entire staff is. We've been having some scheduling conflicts on both our ends but they were able to quickly find a time slot that worked for all of us. My boys love going to the dentist. You don't normally say this about going to the dentist but they had a great time lol. I was very happy with my experience at this office. I recently moved to the area and hadn't been to a dentist in too long. I found it by their great reputation on Yelp. I didn't wait to long after I got there to get into the dental chair. The woman doing my x-rays did her best to make it a comfortable process. The last time I went to a dentist they told me I had multiple cavities but I never did anything about them so I was expecting to have multiple for this visit. I was happily surprised that I had one so that makes me feel like the last dentist I went to was trying to get money out of me for extra things. This practice went above and beyond for me as far as service. Would highly recommend. Thank you!

Dr. Dennis Block was so thorough and attentive. I even saw that he made a note in my chart that I have two children, which shows me he cares about connecting with his patients on a more personal level. He also was incredibly gentle and used a great topical numbing for my cleaning because I told him I had sensitivity. He explained everything on my x-rays and scheduled me for a deep cleaning! No decay! I have a strong fear of dental work, so the fact that I don't need any work done is FANTASTIC NEWS! Also, his cleaning instruments were incredibly quiet... No drill sound at all. Today was my first office visit since the pandemic and the office is just as efficient now as they were then but with added safety layers. At entering the office my son and I were the only patients in the waiting area. Sandy the office manager who is so nice came out with covid questionnaire for us to fill out and she took our temperature. Everyone was wearing masks and the dental assistant and Dr. Lina were fully dressed in scrub attire from head to toe. I didn't once feel uncomfortable. Got my cleaning and I'm happy. So i googled dentists in my area and these guys popped up with great reviews. I called in the morning and they were able to make me a same day appt! So far, so good. Very friendly, informative, efficient and effective. Will definitely continue using them. Would be a perfect score, but I had to wait a half hour for an appointment because the specialist was late. Dr. Brock did my cleaning but did not do my fillings, which was a little disappointing. Finally, I felt very pressured to get a root canal, which I said I'd get a second opinion if that was the case. They agreed, but on the day of my filling, they said I was getting a root canal and insurance wouldn't cover all of it. If I didn't have the courage to say, no, they would have gone forward with it. I'm fine now, but geez, let's eliminate every possibility before drilling for cash. Anyway, overall a great experience, clean office, friendly staff, and talented doctors. 5/7, would definitely recommend.

Everyone is so kind and helpful, they make me want to come back & hang out. One of the most impressive things that happened here is that I asked about invisiline & setup a consultation. After my chat with the doctor she politely advised indicated that it sounded like the benefits of the product didn't mean very much to me & I should probably not do it. I was just amazed that the sale was there for the taking and her advise was not to move forward because it wasn't in my best interest. Amazing. Raving fan here for this business, I highly recommend! If you have to pay anyone to poke around in your mouth and drill holes in your teeth, I highly recommend paying Dr. Block to do it. If you gave me the chance to go back in time and take better care of my teeth to avoid dental work as an adult, I'd say "No thanks." Because that would mean I'd never get to meet Dr. Block. Tsvetelina Koffman and her staff are all wonderful. My 3 year old son had his first cleaning and I had an appointment as well. I was a bit nervous but felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Everyone was patience and understanding with my son. After a few laughs and some explanations he let her proceed. He was so proud once he was done and the smile said it all. He kept bragging about it all day. My turn was smooth as well. Once again very understanding that I was there with my two sons which luckily were on their best behaviour as I had prepared a few items to keep them busy. Once we were done they emphasized the importance of healthy hygiene and rewarded my son with some goods and a dental certificate. Great experience and looking forward to our next visit. Great visit. Smooth, professional, and speedy scheduling. They managed to swing me in for a Saturday appointment, and graciously accommodated my follow-up request for an earlier appointment. I was not berrated by anyone for how long it had been when i got there and everyone was friendly and funny. My xrays and cleaning were a breeze and Amanda and the Dr talked to me throughout so there was no confusion on what they were doing in there! I visited this dental office on Saturday January 23, 2021. Female dentist, Dr Lena accommodated me. She was friendly and courteous. She explained work that I needed. I only have to recommend some improvements needed in office in order to avoid the transfer of Covid virus and other germs..,The chairs in waiting area should be @ least 6 feet apart from each other. I don’t know how many people congregate @ one time in this waiting area but I was the only one present on this morning date. The receptionist should offer visitors hand sanitizer upon entry and a clean disposable mask. Since people are entering from outside, hands should be sanitized and perhaps under their shoes. It may also be a deter of spread of COVID If each patient was given a plastic gown to wear prior to dental services. I also strongly recommend that employees and dentist not touch the computer or other non dental objects prior to touching the patient’s mouth or at least change disposable gloves. Overall, I liked the dentist’s attitude and communication. I have a follow up appointment. Thank you Dr Lena.
