I absolutely love it here , Dr. Lauren is very patient and thorough with explaining treatment. I received Root Canal treatment, she made the procedure painless as possible from start to finish, she made sure I was comfortable and understood what was happening. Sarah did an amazing job with my cleaning, my teeth literally felt REFRESHED after her cleaning and I’ve had braces for bout 2 years now and that’s the best cleaning I received so far while in braces. Highly recommend, the staff is very welcoming and sweet. Will return. BEST IN THE CITY!!!

I've been going to Smile Philosophy for a few years now and I have to be honest; I have never been to a more compassionate and professional dentist. Beyond today, the staff overall is friendly and knowledgeable. There is patience and care in this office with an overall feel that everything is going to turn out fine. I'm actually writing this review before I lay down after an appt this morning where Dr Lauren and her assistant, Iyana, extracted 6 teeth from the top of my mouth. I was visibly nervous and seeing that, Iyana gave me her hand to hold. I didn't squeeze, which she offered I could, but it was nice to have that support; something I don't remember having before, even as a child. If you're looking for a dentist where you will be cared for as a person and not just a patient, look no further.

I'm not the type to ever leave reviews unless I had a really great or really bad experience. I haven't been to the dentist in over 10 years and to be honest I was really scared when my wife scheduled an appointment for me at Smile Philosophy. This place was amazing. Sarah (who was my dental hygienist) was very nice. She was also very thorough and I could tell she took pride in cleaning every nook and cranny in my teeth. Most important she made me feel comfortable, enough to where I'm not scared for a trip to the dentist anymore. Like I said I haven't been to the dentist in awhile so when I found out I had a few cavities I wasn't surprised. They were able to schedule me an appointment very quickly. The dentist did an amazing job with my cavities and I didn't feel a thing. Overall it was a great experience for something I was afraid of. The kind and friendly personalities of everyone at the office made me comfortable. Thank you Sarah and everyone else at Smile Philosophy.

The Ladies here are AMAZING! I have moved around a bit in the last Decade. Two Countries, 3 states, 18 cities and at least a Dozen different Dental Offices. So I can report with Experience! Not only are they Professional, Talented and Caring. They Go Beyond! Four years ago, when I first came to NOLA, I was in the Middle of getting a Full Mouth of Dentures. I had No Teeth! Instead of the normal 4-6 weeks of Fittings & Refittings, they had me Smiling in THREE WEEKS! The Denture Lab Delivered before 10am. They'd call me to come in RIGHT AWAY to do a Fitting, so they could be picked up by the Lab by 1pm. Like I said, Amazing. When I had my final Fitting, I burst into Tears. For a man who was Always Known for his Smile, but couldn't Smile for over 5 years.....it made me Whole Again! The Kicker is, I am on Medicaid! Not any Fancy Insurance. They were getting reimbursed barely enough to cover costs! But treated me like a Rock Star. Needless to say, they are on my PERMANENT CHRISTMAS CARD LIST!

From the first call to schedule the appointment the staff were professional and very accommodating. The Dr. And her staff made me very comfortable given this was my first time visiting the office. First I start from the front and work my way to the back. Great service from Ms. Meka always has a great smile and great attitude, she always makes me feel just at home. The experience was awesome, the place is very clean and sanitary. They are practicing social distancing and mask are required upon entry. You are handled with care and efficiently taken care of. The staff is very professional and they make you feel extremely comfortable. My dentist is the best in New Orleans!

If you need to get a cleaning make sure you ask for Sarah. I usually get anxious before a cleaning, but never again! She was so pleasant to be around and very gentle with my gums. The dentist and office staff were very good as well. Overall, a great experience.

This is the BEST dental care I have ever had. Filled with empathy and care. The staff is all female, so they are gentle, and understanding and not filled with ego. My recent visit to Smile Philosophy Dental Care was my first one and I found myself more than pleased by their services. The environment is friendly and familial with staff treating each other and patients with the utmost respect. Staff were very professional following COVID-19 protocol having patients temperatures taken and screening questions asked before seeing further medical personnel. Gloves and mask were worn at all times while maintaining a distance of no less than 6 feet. They even go the extra mile by sanitizing the waiting room as old patients leave and new ones come in. I was very impressed and I strongly recommend them. It is safe to say that they have a returning customer.

All the five star reviews are on point. I have two other amazing dentist I usually see but they are not located in New Orleans. The staff members here from the front desk to the dentist are just amazing. I had a molar reinfect after having a root canal and crown put on over ten years ago. I've been treating it for about nine months and finally decided the only option was to have it pulled. Both the dentist and nurse/hygienist/ assistant went through all the options including sending me to a specialist for retreatment. I ultimately decided to have it pulled (this evening I decided to make an appointment for a bridge to be put in and of course I'll be doing that there). Even after multiple dentist and nearly 100 needles due to extensive dental work it was the best experience I've ever had getting a dental needle done. She is an absolute pro. They were completely open about pricing even on the phone while making the initial appointment which is very difficult to find around New Orleans. If you need to see a dentist save yourself the time and make an appointment with Dr Lauren.

Went there two weeks ago for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to see other patients and staff keeping with the distancing rules. When I came in without a mask, one of the staff members politely told me if I had one to keep myself, them, and other patients safe. I saw other masks were provided to patients, but I went and got my own. The staff was also checking temperatures of patients. While I was getting checked in I was also given some screening questions before I could proceed. I also noticed someone sanitizing the waiting room as other patients entered and left. The appointment went very smoothly. Everyone is friendly there and it is such a warm atmosphere. Will come back due to great service and accountability.

The staff here are amazing , makes going to the dentist such a pleasurable experience during these difficult times. They make sure to ask you screening questions before your appointment, then they check your temperature when you arrive. Everyone has to wear masks, and the seating is spaced out as well for social distancing. The process is very quick, and they sanitize constantly.

I was nervous to be going to the dentist for the first time since the Covid-19 outbreak. It was very reassuring to see that mask and temperature taking were enforced. Patients were also asked to complete screening questions to help weed out any potential risk, and chairs in the waiting room were spaced out in accordance with social distancing protocol. The icing on the cake was the fact that a young lady wanted to come in, but forgot her mask. I can only speak for my cleaning experience, but it was very comfortable and accomodating (blankets! special glasses to not be blinded by the light overhead!) Earlier this year, my teenage daughter had her braces removed with another orthodontist. Afterwards, we decided to have her teeth whitened at Smile Philosophy Dental to remove some of the discoloration caused by the braces. The color of her teeth was lifted approximately four shades lighter after her 1st treatment with no sensitivity issues afterwards. The price was affordable along with one of Smile Bright promotions and the staff was very friendly and professional.
