My whole experience was very comforting. I was made to feel stressed free and welcomed by the Dr. and the dentist assistant so much so that I was finished my procedure and was walking out the door without ever feeling pain. Even when the anesthesia wore of I still felt little to no pain despite being told that I may experience some pain and bleeding for a few days, but I have not. I feel that it was indeed my doctor's experience and care he took in caring for me that made me have such a great experience.

Always a pleasure which is unusual for a dentist visit. Dr. DuBois, an amazingly skilled dentist, is kind and gentle and always makes me and my 87 year old mom feel comfortable. He was assisted by Brittany who was wonderful also. I recommend this practice and will continue to make appointments.

I Really liked everyone at the office however, i had scheduled what I believed was the first appointment (8:00 am) to have my teeth cleaned. I scheduled an early appointment and was clear that I did NOT want to be late for work. I sat in the chair for 30 minutes before anyone came in. They assured me that the Dr. would be right in although he was working on two other patients. The Dr. came eventually came in and was very professional however at the end of the day I was 45 minutes late for work. In my book that is just not cool. If it happens again, there will not be a third time.

My daughter needed bridge work after her braces. It was a tough job since the bridge work was in the front of her mouth and the color, shape and size needed to be perfect. Dr. DuBois did an excellent job. I’ve never seen my daughter smile so much.

A friend of mine gave me an enthusiastic recommendation of Comfort Smiles, so I went in to get an estimate done. Unfortunately, they were not in my HMO network so my insurance wouldn't cover any work. But they gave me a thorough exam anyway. I was impressed with my experience, but my out-of-pocket expense would be more than I could handle at the time. Fast forward. These are the dental professionals that I want use, so I'm committed to making it work. I'm going to call them back today.

Let me start by saying this dental office and Dr. DuBois has removed every fear I had of going to the dentist. The staff and doctor was so comforting, quick, and educated. I chipped my front four teeth which is a huge deal for me. It’s the first thing people look at, so I was really nervous about who I would trust with this process. After seeing a friend who Dr. DuBois recently fixed her front teeth and how good they looked I booked my appointment. I was not disappointed! I’m so happy with my results and feel confident in my smile again! Thank you again Doctor and staff I can’t wait for my next visit!

Went back and the visit was pleasant! This is a revised review. My experience was fair enough. I was moderately turned off after my Husband’s first visit. He was told that he needed a deep cleaning; he declined and wanted just a regular cleaning and was denied that service. My visit was on a separate occasion and was told the same thing. Keep in mind we got a cleaning every six months up to about a year and a half ago (or whenever Covid started) and we were never told that. We went to a really good Dentist for years until his retirement. Anyway, they seem nice enough so I got the deep clean (I figured, ‘why not’) but the Hubs is done and looking for another Dentist. I’ll be back in about 3 months … so I’ll see how it goes.

I don’t usually write reviews unless I think a place is extremely wonderful and this place really fits and exceeds that description. I had a horrible tooth ache from a cavity that had been bothering me for months. They had told me at first that it might need a root canal and that there might not be much they could do but they were going to check everything out and do their best to help me out. When I got there the doctor walked me through how things were going to go and basically said that they were going to fill my tooth with this stuff that helps it regrow. He reiterated that he was going to do his best to fix it but if he felt it needed a root canal he was going to have to send me to the specialist (which I honestly wouldn’t have been able to afford for another several months and the tooth pain was debilitating at this point.) as he worked he sounded more and more optimistic and at the end was like “actually I think you’re not going to need a root canal after all!” And I was so relieved. I know this is going to sound weird but I could feel their level of precision as they were working. It was really kind of stunning. The entire staff seemed to have this really symbiotic bond and all worked together extremely well. They were all extremely kind as well. I’ve had some really bad experiences at dentists where they’re not comforting at all and there was one point where I started crying when they injected my gum with the numbing stuff and the nurse stayed with me and comforted me and asked if I was alright and came back to check on me super often while also giving me enough space to calm down and not feel embarrassed or on the spot. I really can’t say enough good things about these people. I was sitting here chewing on a super crunchy pizza crust and was thinking about how grateful I am to these people that I can even do that now, and how they even sort of made me a little less scared of the dentist. I’m never going to another dentist as long as I live here. I love these people so much. I wish I had gotten everybody’s names to give them person shout outs but know that you’re all amazing. Thank you for helping me get my life back a little bit. ❤️

I seriously hate the dentist, haaaate it! Yes, I’m the person in the room over who cries every time. However, Dr. Dubois and his staff still somehow manage to get the work I need done WITHOUT traumatizing me further (cleanings/crowns/bridge -I’ve done it all through Comfort Smiles). I’ve been coming to Comfort Smiles for about a year or two now and I’ve always felt they were so professional and above all NICE. I’ve needed dental/orthodontic work my entire life since being born with a cleft lip/palate and it has been an ordeal to say the least. I’ve had a lot of professionals involved in my care over the last 25 years and I really feel like this office is the best. (There’s no way I could possibly go back if I didn’t.) I appreciate that the staff here makes me feel safe and respected. Thank you Dr. Dubois and staff! You guys really are doing good work. Another few things I think they do well as an office: 1. Easy and flexible scheduling 2. Good communication 3. Never waiting for long 4. It’s affordable and seems to be insurance friendly (I switch a lot with the nature of my job) 5. Follow safety precautions to protect against covid 6. Comfortable environment that promotes privacy

Dr Dubois and Dr LaFont are always attentive and thorough with the care provided to me. The office staff are kind and address insurance and scheduling questions promptly. I have been a patient for many years and find this office to be the most personal and down to earth dentist office.

The staff was nice and thoughtful. However, I had to wait roughly 50 min to finally see the dentist from the appointment time when I got there early and filled out all the paperwork beforehand. Also, the receptionist gave much different quotes than the prices revealed at the visit. For instance, I was told a retainer costs $400 and I was charged $650. I was also told dental bonding would be $150 to $350 per tooth and was then given a quote for $800 per tooth at the visit. Everything else was great though!0

Had my first visit a few days ago with Dr. DuBois, him and his staff are 1st class. They make you feel right at home and Dr. DuBois shoots you a straight line I am scheduled for a series of visits and will definitely recommend them

Dr. Dubois and the rest of the staff are just absolutely wonderful. He is an excellent dentist who is very gentle and has such a comforting demeanor. I've had to get a good bit of work done, and I've always felt well informed and definitely never pressured into anything. The whole vibe of the place is both cheery and relaxing. I would recommend Comfort Smiles to anyone, particularly to anyone who's been putting off going because of anxiety, bad previous experience, and/or cost.

I cannot put into words how thankful and satisfied to have seen Dr.DuBois. I went in knowing I needed to have teeth extracted, but was very surprised to have not just one BUT BOTH of the teeth causing me severe pain taken out of my face before I even left the building. I was there for less than 2 hours!! The receptionist was very patient and helpful with my lack of insurance information and obtained it all before i was taken off hold trying to teach my provider! I was very nervous before my procedure and the Doc and the Dental Assistant made me feel so comfortable and at ease. This is not a dentist office trying to gouge your wallet, but is genuinely doing their best to bring comfort to smiles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED I will no longer hate going to the dentist as long as I'm going to Comfort Smiles... Thank you so much to everyone there; truly the best I've ever been to..

Dr. DuBois and his staff are excellent at their trade. They’re kind, thorough, but also very efficient. I was in town for vacation and a veneer came loose. They squeezed me in within an hour despite clearly being very busy. Later that evening, my other veneer came loose (I suppose I have some luck issues). I called that evening, they answered and scheduled me for the next morning. So, something that should or often would be a huge distraction on a well-needed vacation became convenient and not a big deal. I highly recommend the Doc and his team to anyone. They clearly know what they’re doing.

I loath going to the dentist and avoid it more so than the plague but my visit to Comfort Smiles may have changed my mind. Staff was super friendly and had no problem using my preferred name and pronouns. One person slipped up and used my dead name but quickly corrected herself which was very appreciated. Usually I feel I’m being tortured and dread every second but when they were done I remember feeling like the time flew by. Maybe I won’t ignore them when they call again for a check up and routine cleaning. Comfort Smiles lives up to their name.

Evening availability is so appreciated. Receptionist was friendly and professional. Office is no frills but very pleasant. Dr. Du Bois was so understanding, so non judgemental and so human ( EG understanding about the difficulty maintaing good oral hygiene, not the usual "perfection is so easy" expectation). Normalized dental appt anxiety and frustration at my teeth, and laid out my options for treatment and general cost level for all 3, completely respected my choice. Only drawback is that they are not licensed for nitrous 100% or else would definitely have this be this be my primary dental office. I would definitely go back, so I might even considering that!

The extraction, the filing, and the implant went extremely well. I was laughing and excited when I left the office. What price? Wow, they took my situation with limited resources. I have been going to this dental clinic for about 12 years now. Dr. Barbe was an extremely exceptional, and talented dentist who always gave his patients the best service. Dr. Kenneth couldn't of been a better replacement to own/operate this clinic when Dr. Jean Barbe suddenly passed away. I have had several extractions, along with a vast amount of other dental procedures. Dr. Kenneth is a very articulate soft-spoken man who knows the ins and outs of every aspect that dentistry can offer. I would recommend Hospitality dentistry to any of my friends and co-workers. What to say about Dr. Ken and his staff,,, I had some of the most amazing care, dentistry, and compassion I've had in all of my growing up years. if there was this kind of dentist when I was young, I would have been so good at coming back every time,I would even want to come back more than twice a year! The entire staff from the front door to the back door are full of knowledge of their job and their art of customer service in patient care. Dr. Ken has worked so hard since knowing him and making sure the neighborhood is better than it was when he found it, and this includes all the people who live in the neighborhood and the other businesses around them. This was my best experience at a dentist office. Dr. Ken was extremely nice and informative. He showed me my x-ray and thoroughly explained it to me. Mimi, the hygienist was also great and she demonstrated in my own mouth how I should be flossing my teeth. The entire staff displayed a superior level of professionalism and exceptional customer service. You will feel like you've been there before. They value their customers. Dr. DuBois is a wonderful dentist! He's very knowledgable and goes over every option and possible outcome with you. He has great bedside manner, his staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and his office is clean and comfortable. It started off rocky with the first assistant not being able to get an proper xray and having to put the instrument in several times with my mouth being extremely tender, but when I arrived for the extraction the next assistant was very pleasant, she and Dr.Dubois work very well together, they made my visit much more calming and saved the day. They got me in incredibly fast and made sure I was taken care of. All of the staff was so pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, my healthcare provider listed them incorrectly as being in network, which I noticed when I made it back home. Dr. DuBois and his staff are very warming and professional!! During each call and in person visit I have been greeted with a warm "hello, how are you doing today". Greetings may not mean a lot to some, but it speaks volumes to me. The services I have received are excellent and I truly enjoy the educational sessions at the end of each visit. Today I learn about the importance of getting screen for cancer during a routine cleaning. Dr. DuBois informed me that screening for cancer in the mouth is a great preventive measurement to help identify cancer before spreading in other parts of the body. Comfort Smiles Dentistry has had a lot of challenges to face sense the many devastation that has occurred in many of our lives. Dr Dubois whom I have a great profound of appreciation for has strived to keep Comfort Smiles Dentistry as calming, peaceful and professional. With moving forward for a brighter future of beautiful smiles that He has given to so many of us, Shantell, Jacquel and Brittany were added to this vision. Very pleasant, professional and respectful. Lindsey also new to the team, on the flip side really has not been a good fit to the Team. You don’t know what type of service you will receive. She is a puzzle with missing pieces and she is not an honest person. Don’t let the mask fool you. Dr. Lafont is new to the Team. My recent experience with him was not pleasant. He was dismissive, uncaring and definitely ready to go home. Don’t walk in on a Friday with an emergency, You will get dismiss with just a prescription and then a phone call to justify his lack there of. Just speaking my truth. Wisdom,Knowledge and Understanding is the key to success, Caring is the price we pay for.
