I was seen by Dr. Shah & I was very pleased with her care. My dental hygienist was very thorough as well. They all listened to my concerns & acted swiftly in providing the best care possible. This was the most normal dentist experience I've had it years, and that's a FANTASTIC thing. No incessant overselling. No scare tactics. No begging for reviews like the business depends on it. Simple. Reasonable. Respectful. Knowledgeable. Kind. I hesitate to highly recommend, just because I'd like to keep the secret to myself, but shouldn't tell a lie. You should go here. When you walk in the front door you immediately enter a very nice office space complete with patient waiting area and child’s nook and computers for learning. The best part though is the staff and just how friendly they all are. Going to the dentist can be a stressful time for most but the office staff makes you feel very comfortable and at ease the entire time by explaining everything they do in great detail so that us patients are always at ease and understand what is going on. Now there are a few different dentists you may choose from in this practice but I was fortunate to see Dr Billy Puckett! He was awesome, he listened to my concerns and gave me several options of treatment and I felt was very honest about what absolutely needed to be done and what could possibly wait if I choose. After my initial exam I was directed to speak with their financial and insurance specialist. She explained all the work that Dr. Puckett prescribed for my teeth and in detail showed me my portions of payment vs what my insurance covers so their would be no miscommunication. All this was done within a 30-45 minute window. The timing was great and the attention to care and detail was great. I highly recommend Dr. Billy Puckett and any of his other dentists for all your dental care and dental cosmetics needs. Top notch place for sure!!

Great customer service and excellent work. Dr Barron was so nice and friend. She kept asking me if I was ok while working on my teeth. She made sure I was comfortable and not in pain. I was a little hesitant in the beginning going to them, because of my past experience with my other dentist. But I would definitely recommend my friend and family to them.

So great. Would fly out to this dentist office if I ever changed locations. Best experience ever as of now. Everyone encountered was nice and polite. My Dentist was amazing and her assistant as well. They seemed very understanding and in tune. Even though Im not sure where my odontophobia stems from, it didn't seem to make a difference as the team was extremely patient and made sure I was totally comfortable without me even pre warning them about my fears. My kids love her too. She's very sweet and kind. Also patient coordinator Sarah is amazing and sweet. Love them both. Amazing dental office and all their staff is nice. Love it here. I don't mind the long drive to come to them. If they were to move an hour away I'd still go. That's how good they are.

It had been a while since I had dental work done, and I was feeling a lot of anxiety at the beginning of the appointment. Dr. Shah and her team helped to reassure, calm and made sure I was ready before they began. They handed me the kleenex box which I was able to squeeze the entire visit. I felt respected and treated me as royalty and they even offered a hot scented towel at the end. So what began as feeling anxious of a scary dental experience ended with a comforting spa like feeling. Thanks for your attention to the small details that help calm down anxious nerves!

Excellent place to choose as a lifelong dentist. Their prices are super reasonable! (relatively speaking). Very punctual when you have an appointment (almost no waiting time). The staff are very friendly and professional. They explain everything thoroughly and try to use ur insurance in a smart way for you to get the best deals out of it. The doctors have very skillful, pain-free maneuvers to fix even the most complicated of issues you might have, yet they inform you when you don’t need something (a rare dentist quality). I was helped by jade, and she was consistently asking to make sure nothing hurt and gave me plenty of rinses in between her cleaning. She told me everything she was going to do before each step of the cleaning. She went over and beyond to make sure she was doing everything correct. This is the perfect example of how a dentist should go about doing a cleaning.

This place lives up to all the positive reviews. I recently visited for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by their examination equipment and pleasant staff. The TVs on the ceiling are a nice touch as well. I must say, I’ve never had such a thorough examination until I came here. Unfortunately some cavities were discovered during my exam, but they were able to accommodate me by squeezing me in for another appointment a week later to get them filled. Considering it’s back to school season, I appreciated their consideration with fitting me in during this demanding time. I’ve definitely found my new dental home!

This is my first visit to this dentist office. The office was very easy to find ( not too familiar w/ off of Streets off of the Beltway. I had forgotten my appointment time so I came early. Seeing that I was at least an hour early she ( I haven’t learned names, yet- young lady facing entrance) offered to take me early which was very kind of her to offer. I was happy 😃 given it was my mistake in not writing the time down. Office was clean and light and bright. This was much better than my past dentist’s office which was dark and rather drab. Since I am one to research my doctors I found all positive reviews and no complaints against anyone here. Besides that they have lots of patients of all ages. All staff members were welcoming and friendly as was the doctor, Dr. Puckett. Office was modern with modern dental equipment. While I have heard of TVs in offices before I had not experienced that until. Getting x-rays was a piece of cake. They had dental film holders that would fit in my mouth. This was a big plus for me because for an adult I seem to have a small mouth. I am impressed with practice thus far. 😁🦷💕

They get started quickly and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The lady working with me kept asking me and my kids if we were okay did we need anything. It’s been years since I’ve been to the dentist so was a little hesitant. However, the moment I walked in the door Sarah at the front desk made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Sarah Travis was my hygienist. Her years of experience really show. She explained everything thoroughly as she did my X-rays and checked my gums. She was also extremely gentle as she cleaned my teeth. Fortunately even after all the years of not going to the dentist, my teeth got an A+ rating. Dr. Barron did my final exam, and had I needed any work, she would be the one I’d request. The office is nice and clean...and really love the TVs on the ceiling in the room. Loved the hygienist and the dentist. This was my first visit and I can see why people come here. They are nice and informative thy don't push to get things if u don't want them. I asked about getting my teeth whitening and the dentist recommend in at home treatment first because I might get better results and it will cheaper. That is what I like honestly. I felt so comfortable there. Another thing that I like was the fact that you can fill out all your information online through their website so much better than trying to fill it out there. I also like they had payment plans that don't break the bank which is very convenient for many people because life happens and you might not be able to pay everything up front. They are so understanding and they can always work with you. This is the only place I will coming to now. Thank you so much for making this a very pleasant and fun experience. I know many people dread going to the dentist but trust me you will feel like you are among friends.

I have been going to Pearland family dentistry for over a year. My family sees Dr. Shah. Not only did she take the time to explain everything to me but also to my teenage son. He needed braces and she recommended an orthodontist that we have been very pleased with. Based on the care she’s given us, I trust her expertise. I work in healthcare myself as a provider so I can be particular when it comes to who we see. I have had two different hygienists and both were great. I feel safe going here with a pandemic going on based on the extra precautions everyone in the office used.

I absolutely love it here. I usually get both my daughter and myself teeth Cleanings during back to back appts. We are always out of the office at the right time. Even when I moved to the medical center, I still drive this way because I refuse to switch. I have weak enamel and teeth cleanings make me nervous. The hygienists are so gentle and they always make sure they aren’t hurting me. They also don’t make me feel bad about if I need anything done. My daughter loves it as well her cleanings are relaxing while she watches my little pony lol. Never leaving!

I absolutely hate going to the dentist. However, from the minute you walk into the door to the moment you leave you are greeted with a smile and treated so nice. I never felt pushed to get work done, or nervous. I was brought to this facility because I needed to get my wisdom teeth pulled, and my previous dentist was going to cost triple what I paid here. I have taken my son (who doesn't do too well at the dentist) they were completely understanding, help make light of the situation and worked hard to get vitamins so on his teeth and complete full exam. The staff was quick, proactive, and they diligently worked with my insurance to get everything covered before surgery. My surgery was quick and essentially painless. I often get anxious, and felt at ease the entire time, and even after. The surgeon had followed up with me to make sure I'm feeling okay. I would definitely recommend.

The dentist, Dr. Puckett, is AWESOME. Very kind. Very professional. Felt no pain and genuinely concerned with how I felt. Beautiful office. The service alone is 5 star worthy. The billing procedures for this office really upset me. They charge you up front for insurance 'estimate' which in my case was an over charge of what I was actually responsible for. If I hadn't checked my EOB with insurance I wouldn't have known since they didn't inform me of the overcharge, just applied the extra as a credit to my account. Dentist gave me a special mouth wash and then I find out later that I was charged for it without anyone mentioning the charge. They are willing to work out payment plans but dont give you the FULL information regarding billing. I recommend this place if you don't have money concerns.

I scheduled a dental cleaning as a new patient at this facility. I was looking for a new place closer to home. I was an established patient at another practice in the medical center but the location was no longer convenient for me since I no longer work in the area. My dental cleaning was scheduled with Karla Contreras and I had a great experience. By far the best dental cleaning I’ve had! She took her time, was very kind, sweet, and professional. She was very thorough and not once did I experience any pain or sensitivity during my cleaning even though I have trouble spots near my permanent retainers. I met Dr Barrón at the end of my cleaning, although I interacted shortly with her, she was very nice and personable. I’m glad I found this place and will definitely be coming back. A plus to this facility is that everything is very clean and modern with online patient forms (they hand you a mini tablet at check-in), plus free WiFi. The also have TVs angled down for your viewing angle while you get a cleaning/dental work done. The lobby is very small but no biggie since I didn’t wait long at all to be called back. Would definitely recommend.

Son and daughter in-law recommended this office to me. I have always feared going to dentist and that is why I never took care of my dental needs and have had many extractions. Excellent service all the way around. At first I questioned the almost 500 top reviews that I saw online, but no longer. Dr Shah and her dental technicians were outstanding. I felt no pain throughout the entire extraction of a molar. The thing that most impressed me was their honesty.Dr Shah told me that there was only a 40% chance that a root canal would save the tooth and recommended extraction. That saved me somewhere between $700 - $1200.

At first I was disappointed on how they handle communicating the treatment plan and sudden changes to the plan while my son was in the chair. I don't mind paying the charge for a root canal and crown. However, I was charged twice on that day. $388 for the originally treatment and a second charge of $1556 for a root canal. I was unaware that I had to still pay the $388 until I check my Care credit statement. They have agreed to refund my Care Credit the difference. I appreciate when business are honest and fair, and assist in resolving issues.

Tried this place just by the reviews, plus I needed a new dentist because my current one was NO GOOD. Everyone is nice and friendly, they are also very knowledgeable and helpful with any questions. Dr. Barron is THE BEST I would never want to see another dentist again! There was a joke I was told that it has been said she has "hands of an angel" well...she truly does lol, super gentle and I had very minimal pain after all the work I had done. I've had the same dental work done on another tooth and it was a totally different experience with tons of pain afterwards but not with Dr. Barron like I said she the best. I have had a terrible experience going to dentist over the years I am 51 yrs old and because of past experiences I had put off going for some time I went yesterday and Dr. Shah took such good care of me that believe it or not I didn't feel much of anything I had a deep scale cleaning and was supposed to have a root canal but my tooth ended up being in such bad shape we had to pull it and do bone grafts. This was my 4-yo daughter's first visit to the dentist. It was very welcoming. There are waters and coffee in the waiting area, and there is a kid area set up with a few.toys and video games. In the room, there was a television in the wall and directly above the chair, so you can look at it when you recline. The hygienist was very friendly and clearly accustomed to working with kids. She explained everything in an age-apprkpriage manner as she went. When we left, my daughter also got to pick out a sticker, a pencil, and an object from the "treasure box." Over all, this was an excellent first experience with the dentist.

I have a literal phobia of getting fillings, crowns and root canals. I knew I needed possibly all 3 so I've been putting off going to the dentist. When I got to the office, the decor in the office was very relaxing. It's modern and the facility is spotless. Everyone was super friendly. A staff member even made me a cup of fresh coffee with the Kuerig in the lobby. The hygeinist was wonderful and made sure I was happy with my cleaning. Dr. Shah was very informative when we went over my x-rays and dental care plan. When I came back for my dental work (3 days later) I made it clear to them that I'd be terrified. Everyone was very nice and totally understanding of me being a nervous wreck. Dr. Shah was wonderful and very patient with me. So was her assistant, Jennifer. They got me to relax and encouraged me every step of the way, constantly telling me I was doing great. I was able to relax and felt no pain. I need to get the crowns back quickly so they even had my tooth impressions picked up the same day and hand delivered for the crowns to be made and over nighted back. They will be seated Thursday! They are doing in 1 week what usually takes at least 2. I need a few more fillings replaced and I'm not nervous anymore. You don't have to wait forever to get appointments. I called to schedule my cleaning and they had me in the next day. My first appointment was June 14th and my entire dental treatment plan will be complete by June 23rd. (4 visitis in a little over a week!!!) They are on time when you get there so I had almost no wait in the lobby. I will have my kids go in next. Pearland Family Dentistry does whatever they can to help their patients feel at ease. They provide excellent customer service. My husband is also a patient of Dr. Barron's and he feels very at ease with her. We definitely made the right choice in our new family dentist. I'm so glad we found them!!
