This was my son’s first dentist appointment, he’s diagnosed with autism and is nonverbal, with some sensory issues with anyone touching his face, mouth, ears, etc…but he did better than what I thought he would do! Dr Kwak and his staff were so patient and gentle with my son. He did start crying during brushing and exam and I was immediately asked if I wanted to proceed, we pushed through and my son did amazing, despite a few tears and protests. Thank you Dr Kwak and LCPD for a great experience!

We so enjoyed our first visit to Dr. Kwak’s office! We have twin toddlers and they were able to schedule both boys at the same appointment time! Everyone from the front desk, hygienists, Dr. Kwak, and checkout desk were super sweet and kind. It is just a happy place to visit! If you’re looking for a new pediatric dentist, look no further!

We have tried many different dentist offices and this is the best one we have been to. The staff and doctors are absolutely amazing! They took such good care of my boys and they made them feel so comfortable and safe. They took the time to explain treatment plans in detail and made sure I understood before we left. Dr. Kwak is truly an amazing person. He and his whole staff are so kind and professional. Since coming here, my oldest has gotten over her fears of the dentist and looks forward to her check ups. Buddy is the cherry on top of the wonderful experience when we visit. He is great with the kids and always makes his way over to love on me. It's like he knows when mom has had a stressful day. The facility is always very clean and the waiting room is equipped with video games and a TV in each room. Kids can pick a movie, sit back, and relax during their appointment. I can not recommend a better pediatric dentist. Wish I could get my cleanings done here!

This was our first time there, and we were delightfully surprised with the level of care we received. Great, friendly staff that was so helpful! The clinic is very clean and has plenty of room for kids to play while they wait. Although, we didn’t have to wait long at all…that was my favorite part! Buddy is such a sweet surprise too…my daughter felt so at ease.

We love Dr. Kwak, Buddy Astro the therapy dog, and the entire staff at league city pediatrics dentistry. My son has some anxiety about the dentist after some not-so-pleasant experiences in the past, and this place has completely changed how he feels about going! Both of my kids are excited on appointment days because they know they get to see Buddy Astro, and today he laid across my daughter throughout her entire tooth extraction. I’ll never forget the time that my son told Dr. Kwak he was nervous, and Dr. Kwak validated his feelings and let him know he would take good care of him and keep him safe. They are so gentle, genuinely kind, and wonderful here and I am more amazed by them after each and every visit.

The absolute best! Every staff member is great with kids, Dr Kwak is patient and so fun, and Buddy dog is always a hit! My son LOVES to go to the dentist because of the TVs during his cleaning, giving Buddy dog treats, and the toy dispenser at the end of each visit.

We love Dr. Kwak and all the staff at League City Pediatric Dentistry! They are all so good with kids and the way the practice is set up is very accommodating and child-friendly. My son still talks about how they dressed in costumes for Halloween. He really loved that! Even though it's out-of-network with my insurance, I pay out-of-pocket to take my son here; it's worth every penny and we wouldn't go anywhere else!

Dr Kwak and his team are top notch. The staff was able to accommodate all 4 of my kids in one day for a cleaning, which was so convenient. We absolutely adored their therapy dog, who helped my nervous daughter calm and relax. The office is so clean and cheery. We have visited League City Pediatric Dentistry three times now. I have a four year old and an eight year old. Previously we were seeing a family dentist who did a good job. However the hygienist there recommend LCPD and Dr. Kwak because my eight year old is extremely anxious. We made the switch, and it has been great. Dr. Kwak has a gentle, calming, and kind manner that puts my daughters at ease. The staff is friendly and the facility is welcoming and child friendly. My girls love Buddy, the therapy dog. I definitely recommend Dr. Kwak and LCPD.

First dentist visit for my one year old daughter update. My first impression of the office staff was surprisingly un expected just because of how attentive, personable, and kind they were with my daughter and me. The office was clean and catered to children with a children’s play area. I love that they have a therapy dog unfortunately my daughter got scared but she hasn’t hgiviad much of interaction with dogs so her reaction was as expected. I do look forward to when she gets older and she looks forward to seeing it again on her future visits. They have her toys and the dentist was very gentle with her and honest with the information he gave me in regards to care for her teeth. So in short words they seem to love their jobs.

I would like to publicly thank League City Pediatric Dentistry for there outstanding caring customer service from the time I called to make the initial visit, to check in and out and everyone we encountered in between. I took my 11 month old and long story short she had to get an X-ray, which from my past experience at others offices with my oldest has not been easy. She got her x ray and examine not once did she cry or even attempt. The doctor was so great with her you can tell that pediatrics is really his specialty. The doctor was very thorough. They explained what they were doing to the kids in such a gentle way, even using my daughter's doll to show her first. We have had our share of Terrible experiences at the dentist but this time was so different. They're amazing! My son is on the spectrum and seriously this place sounded too good to be true but when we got there it was even better than what we read online. Very friendly staff. Awesome toys in waiting room. Treatment room had cartoons playing, a stuffed toy, and books. Dr. Kwak was gentle and kind. He even made balloon animals! We had a great experience today at league city pediatric dentistry! It started as soon as we got there and my girls ran straight to the toy kitchen. Then we were greeted by buddy the therapy dog as we walked back to the room. Girls got sunglass and blankets to get comfy and did so great! The hygienist and doctor were kind and funny with girls! Then as we left girls got to use a token to get a prize from a huge gumball like machine. My girls sat quietly and thought it was fun! It was just what I would of hoped for for their first dentist appointment!

We were one of the first clients here when they opened in 2018 and my daughter was only a year old. She had so much fun at that first visit and every one since. She does miss the play area being open but hopefully by our next visit she can play again. My 2 year old son now loves going too and the kids even sit in the dental chair together for their cleanings and exams. They also love seeing Buddy Astro and getting a token for the "gumball" machine. Besides the fun, we know they are getting great dental care from Dr Kwak and the rest of the team. They know they need to brush their teeth to get the sugar bugs!!

Our first visit went above our expectations! The entire staff was so kind, attentive and great with our child. They spent time explaining toddler teeth hygiene and answered any questions we had. The office is very clean, well designed with playful colors but it’s also soothing and having a tv in the exam room was great since it kept our little one’s attention for the cleaning. Hands down the best Pediatric Dentist ever. We went to another local Pedi dentist when my son was 2 and had a traumatizing experience for both of us. I didn’t want my child growing up like me, afraid of the dentist! We saw Dr. Kwak when my son was 4, he is 6.5 yrs old now. The staff is absolutely amazing, the office is adorable, and Dr. K was exceptional with my son. He loved every part of the checkup, from cleaning to treatment and the adorable puppy, Buddy! I love bringing my five yr old son here. He gets nervous easily but Dr.Kwak handles him with ease. Unfortunately, my son had a cavity that needed attention and we had to come for a couple of visits, the care here is always top notch. Today was the day he got the actual filling and I was dreading it. Lol My son was scared and was literally screaming and crying while he was doing the filling but Dr. Kwak's calmness while I held my son down helped the process go quickly and successfully. Literally done in two mins. His dental assistant is always very kind to us and I love the little lady up front that you check out with. Her giving my son that little coin at the end of our visits and seeing his smile makes it all worth it. Wonderful crew here. In and out in half an hour for a filling on a five yr old. Can't beat it y'all :)

The staff were all really nice! My 6 year old son was a bit anxious but the dentist came in & was able to him & complete his exam & cleaning. He was also very patient with him, which was a big deal for me, mom! And I can’t forget to mention Buddy, so sweet!

WOW!!! This place is the absolute BEST!!! I took my 3 year old here for the first time today and he was so nervous!! I didn’t know how he was going to do, but he did SO good! From the moment we walked in everyone was SO NICE!! Usually you meet one or two nice people at a business but not here! Every single person was beyond SWEET and SO welcoming!!! The Dr and the guy that was helping him went above and beyond to help my little boy feel comfortable and not be nervous! I called to schedule an appointment because my 5 year old was complaining of pain in her front tooth. They were able to get her in and taken care of within 2 hrs even though they were very busy. They are so nice and comforting to kids in such a great atmosphere. I really appreciate the time that was taken to explain things to both parents and the patient so things aren’t as scary. As a parent that has panic attacks and cries at the dentist at almost 30 years old, it was a ROLLERCOASTER OF EMOTIONS trying to find my daughter a dentist that I was comfortable enough with having my daughter go to. A good amount of women from a Facebook mom group I’m in had suggest this office to me. The biggest thing that stood out was the therapy dog, so I said “okay… let’s try it. This office has got to be something amazing if they have a therapy dog.” I was a bit irritated making the appointment just because I was able to schedule my daughter an appointment myself, her dad had to call to give his social and work info. Come the day of the appointment and that minute thing mattered not. The women who helped me in the front with both checking in and out were just lovely. A great example of how employees show great customer service. I’m sorry, but I do not remember their names. Dr. Kwak has such a gentle tone and very friendly demeanor. He proactively thad me look over his shoulder to make sure I fully understood the things he was talking about when it came to my daughter’s dental hygiene, which I really appreciated! A really huge thing that I loved was he asked my daughter permission to pick her up to help move her up in the chair she was laying in. He didn’t just go for it and help her without saying anything. He asked her to scoot up, and when he saw she was a bit nervous (her first time and the chair moving kinda made her freeze up juuuuust a little), he asked her if he could pick her up to help her. And when I think about it, I wouldn’t have left a bad review had he just helped her without asking, but at the same time, you really don’t see people like that taking the initiative to make sure EVERY thing they are doing, the patient is okay with. Very big plus points there. I wanted to save the best part of our experience for last. I’M TALKIN’ ABOUT YOU, JUAN!!!!! As I said at the start, I have panic attacks at the dentist before the dentist even walks in, so naturally I was a bit nervous for my daughter. From the second he started assisting us, to the second we left, this person was A+++++++++++ on making my daughter feel 100% comfortable and in turn, that made ME feel 100% comfortable. Even when she got scared from the chair, he stopped everything he was doing to talk it out with her to ensure she was calm again. He gave her kudos and even involved me saying “you’re doing awesome! Right, mom?” Because the Lord knows my mind was going 1,000 miles per second. He took the time to describe every piece of equipment to my daughter and my daughter did AMAZING. I will always refer people to this office for pediatric dental work. One billion times thank you to all the staff we had the pleasure of encountering. I am truly in awe of how amazing this place is.

My two sons (1 and 3) loved the office, staff, and dentist. They are all so nice, patient, understandable and makes you feel comfortable (me and my kids). They ask you before they do x-rays or use fluoride for your permission, which I personally loved. The extras like a hero cape, toys, and present at the end is a wonderful addition to the dentist experiment for my children. In addition, I liked how respectful the dentist treated me and my kids. I am happy to have him and his staff as the dentist office for my kids! Update: Our last visit (December 2020) was wonderful like always. They took care of my son like no other. Asking if he wants a blanket, asking what he wants to watch, asking if the light should be off. The room was like a cinema, just the popcorn was missing 😅. I love the staff and doctor, they are just an awesome team with heart! Also, very informative of what should be better or what can we do or should not do and what can happen. Highly recommend even today!

This is the best dentist we’ve ever been to see. We looked for a pediatric dentist who would be patient and kind with both our children, but most especially our daughter who is autistic. Dr. Kwak and staff are always kind, take their time, and never pressure us. It is obvious they are all about service. As a busy working mom, I really appreciated the reminders via text. The intake staff was friendly, masked and efficient. They did temp checks on everyone! We were taken back so quickly the girls didn't get to watch as much Encanto as they wanted in the waiting area. The staff had ear pieces and did not have to stop what she was doing or leave the room but could radio a coworker for an extra piece of equipment. Our 5 year old did great with the help of the staff to take her x-rays and helped her through it! Dr Kwak showed us her x-rays and explained what might he coming in her dental future and made recs on some treatment plans. He allowed the 3 year old yo watch big sister as it was her first time and she did which helped ease her anxiety. Our 3 year old was a champ with the dentist and hygienist!! I want my teeth cleaned from her toooo. So friendly and sang the abc song as she brushed their teeth and showed me some problem areas that we needed to work on at home. No tears were shed! She wants to come back which was the goal. We are so lucky to have league city pediatric dentistry in our lives and highly recommend.

Every time I take my daughter in, I am further impressed with the staff. My daughter has some anxiety and the last time she visited she had major oral surgery. Hailey was amazing with her. She talked her through each step of the xray process, explaining things at my daughter’s level and encouraging her just like I would. When Dr. Kwak came in, she told him she was scared. He said “ thank you for telling me so that I can make sure I keep you safe”. He validated her feelings and put her at ease all at the same time. It meant so much to me! They kept her calm and happy the entire time. She got to pet the dog at the end of the visit too and now uses her timer to brush her teeth. Wonderful staff, wonderful office, wonderful visit. I can not recommend this place enough! I previously visited a dentist office where at the first visit the dentist didn't even interact with my daughter. That is not the case here! Dr. Kwak is the only one who responded and even though we weren’t patients of his, he opened the office early just for us. If that wasn’t enough, the office is adorable and everyone is so friendly. This pediatric dentist's office is absolutely fantastic. Every time I go I'm always impressed with how compassionate and kind everyone is. The front desk is warm and inviting. The dental hygienists are great at adapting and moving at the kid's pace (with explanations, demonstrations, etc) while quickly and thoroughly performing the cleaning. The doctor himself is very patient and helpful. They also have a resident therapy puppy which really helps motivate my daughter to behave for her appointments so she can pet him. This is such a fantastic environment, I'm honestly a little hesitant to recommend it because I want to keep it for myself lol! They also take Saturday appointments! They fill up fast of course, but that can be a lifesaver when working full time and trying to fit everything in.

Always an easy and friendly experience with Dr. Kwak and his staff. They are still asking people to wear masks in the front waiting area, but they didn't give me trouble for not wearing one while no one was in the waiting area. My sons aren't scared of the dentist because they know they'll get a surprise at the end; a pair of cool sunglasses to wear during the exam and to take home afterwards; and they get to watch TV during any exam/procedure because they have TVs on the wall and on the ceiling for the kids to watch while lying down. The office is new and very nice inside and there's plenty of parking also. The staff and doctor are great with children and they work with you when it comes to insurance or paying out of pocket. Definitely glad we found league City pediatric dentistry.

My kids were never scared and enjoyed the entire experience. I felt the staff made a point to put the kids at ease. The doctor was very calm and even made her a little balloon animal! I have four kids so I have experienced many pediatric dentists. Dr. Kwak and his staff are, by far, the best! They even have a therapy dog! To top off the visit, we barely even sat down in the waiting room before we were called back for my daughters appointment. The staff is the friendliest I’ve ever worked with! We asked that Buddy the therapy dog be there to make our daughter feel less nervous for her first appointment and the moment we walked in the door the doctor himself brought Buddy out to greet her by name! Very COVID-conscious which I appreciated because I am currently 5 months pregnant when we went with my son the other day. Dr. Kwak, Juan and Monique were very helpful and informative. They were attentive to my son’s needs, including speaking some Spanish to him to make him feel a little more comfortable, and he loved getting to take home the sunglasses. It was also chilly in the room and we were offered blankets while we were there. Plus the TVs in the room helped keep him still and focused during his cleaning. Fantastic experience!

Dr. Kwak and his entire team are awesome. From the front desk, to the dental assistants, hygienist, and doctor; I’ve had great experiences with them all. Today we had to have a filling done on my 6 year old. The male dental assistant was awesome. He was super friendly, informative, and made both my kiddo and I feel comfortable. We followed Dr. Kwak from his Clear Lake office to League City even though it is a commute for us. He is very good with young children. Everything from the decor, super hero capes, fun sunglasses, TVs on the ceilings, and a therapy dog keeps my kids at ease. After each appt the Dr never rushes off, he walks the kids out, offering a treasure, and talks to each parent. The experience is wonderful. I highly recommend.

From the first impression over the phone, I have been impressed by this practice. The staff were understanding when I called at the last minute to reschedule due to illness. And I appreciated that they called me a few days before the appointment to let me know a possible procedure would not be covered 100% by my insurance, so I wouldn't be surprised later by the bill. My son has not had good experiences at prior dentists, but he left his appointment happy and looking forward to returning in 6 months. The hygienist was patient and took her time letting my son calm down and actually working with him, and the doctor was a chill personality and patient with us parents. The waiting room was pleasant, staff friendly, and we all enjoyed petting the therapy dog.

I felt like he was straightforward, but not at all judgmental. The office is fabulous. There is a little play area for the kids and a video game setup. The exam rooms are also really nice with two TVs so kids can feel ease and are distracted. The front office staff, Holly, was super kind and sweet as well and made checking in a breeze. Finally, the dog, Buddy Astro is such a sweet good boy! I definitely will be a lifelong patient of Dr. Kwak and highly recommend him to any parent!

I absolutely love Dr. Kwak and his staff. The office is kid-friendly which makes waiting painless (however, this was our 2nd appointment and we’ve never had a long wait). But the toys, gaming consoles, and books keep my other kids happily occupied while one is getting their check up. It’s newer so cleanliness is not an issue. Dr. Kwak and the whole staff are AMAZING! Extremely nice and really great with kids of all temperament. He’s an honest doctor who isn’t pushy and explains everything without confusion. Of course, Buddy, their therapy dog is just the icing on top. Even though my kids haven’t had to have Buddy help calm them, it’s just great to get some puppy loving in while there.

My two kiddos who are 12 and 2 years old had their first appointment here today! My oldest who has been going to her dentist for 10 years walked out of Dr. Kwak’s office and said she never wants to go back to her old dentist. The whole staff was very friendly and so patient especially with my youngest because she was very timid and did not want anyone in her mouth since it was her first trip to the dentist. Dr. Kwak not only got her to do her examination with very little tears but actually got a few giggles out of her too! They also gave my oldest very helpful tips about brushing her teeth to make sure she is cleaning all the areas in her mouth to prevent cavities. Everyone there is the sweetest! We usually bring our kids to our dentist, but our son fell and chipped his tooth, we then needed to see a specialist so after a ton of research we came here. I am so happy we found this place! It’s very kid friendly, we were greeted immediately when we walked in and were taken care of in 10-15 minutes. During that time our son played with the cute toys they had there in the lobby and thought the chalk board was so cool, he was kept busy and that helped me out a ton while I waited there with him with also a Newborn who needed my attention. The dentist made a cool dog out of a balloon, was patient and kind, the assistant was very patient and kind as well and gave our son Spider-Man stickers and a tooth brush, he was also able to pick out a toy from the machine... it made his little face light up. It was literally kid land for him haha. Thank you for this experience and can’t wait to come back in a month to move forward with his treatment plan.

We love Dr. Kwak, he is the best! My daughter is extremely high anxiety when it comes to dental work. Many tears have been shed, hers AND mine both. Dr. Kwak has a soothing calm approach that helps calm her down, and no matter how many meltdowns she has he is always so patient and will do whatever it takes to make her feel comfortable. The clinic is adorable and staff are super friendly. Our favorite part was the therapy dog Buddy, my daughter had to have a couple teeth pulled today and Buddy laid with her offering a nice fluffy comforting distraction. Dr. Kwak was recommended to me by quite a few people after we had a terrible experience with another pediatric dentist & I must say I was not disappointed. My son was shaking with terror and Dr. Kwak and his team really did the most to keep him calm and compliant! He was also very honest with us and recommended what’s best for my son, not what’s easiest for him. You can see that he loves his job and his patients. I’m so sad we did not know about him before, because for 6 years my son has been visiting another dentist that wasn’t caring for him properly and was terrifying him. Would certainly be 5 stars had it not been for the front desk lady with absolutely NO manners for clients. Not only was she rude to me and spoke to me like a child I also over heard her on the phone with another client speaking very loudly and rude to them. I don't think for a pediatric dentistry or anywhere for that matter should be tolerated. I almost walked out of the door because of her! Other than that the hygienist and doctor were ABSOLUTELY amazing!! I have a special needs son and I have never seen my son as calm as he was with Dr. Kwak and his team in the back. They are so very thorough and they take their time and explain everything which is big to my son. I am very happy and pleased we chose League City Pediatric Dentistry just hope something can be done to train that front desk lady to be a little more compassionate and less aggressive..

Hands down the best pediatric dentist! My 2.5 year old was very nervous and he was so incredibly patient with her. He took time to let her get comfortable in the room, talk to her, make her a balloon animal, and was so patient as she screamed her head off while he checked her teeth. As a child therapist I am super picky on how people interact and work with my child and I was blown away by Dr.Kwak and his staff. Not to mention Buddy the therapy dog who was so sweet. My 8 Y/O daughter recently visited LC Pediatric Dentistry. It is in a great location, and close to our home. She has ADHD and anxiety, so dentists visits aren't favored. On our drive over I listened to her fears about the visit, and I did my best to comfort her. This put us a little bit behind, and we were a few min late. I didn't realize there were 2 outside office doors, and we entered through the exit side of the office.entrance and exit. I apologized for our tardiness. We were graciously greeted by Miss Cindy and Holly at the front desk. They promptly checked my daughter in and assisted a couple of online registration forms I overlooked. Next, we found Buddy who is Dr. Kwak's highly trained service goldendoodle who melted away all my daughters anxiety. We then met Juan who is a fantastic dental assistant! He welcomed us with a huge smile! He obviously loves his job, and scored major points with my girl when he let her choose a super hero cape to wear during her visit. Which made getting through the x-rays a breeze! Dr. Kwak was awesome too! He went over the x-rays with me, showed me areas he was concerned about on her teeth. Very down to earth. My daughter really liked him, and I loved that he called her friend! Finally, we met Monique, the dental hygienist. She was interactive with my daughter. She gave her demonstrations on how to properly brush her teeth, and then asked her questions to see if she retained the info correctly. Then thanked us for asking great questions. This office has a great atmosphere, and is aesthetically pleasing to the eye. But even more important to me they were very professional, proficient, and clearly love working there. They share their happiness with the patients and that makes it a special place to be. On the drive home I heard a different kind of talk from my daughter, my favorite kind. She told me she liked the new office, and can't wait to go back💗.

I highly recommend this Dental office! My son has autism and is not always the best patient to have. They have always been accommodating and welcoming to his needs. I very highly recommend Dr. Kwak he is very professional and knows how to work with kids. The office is very clean and the waiting room has toys and a Nintendo Switch (Note the waiting room has been adjusted for Covid-19 which is understandable). Each dental room has two TVs one in front and over head to entertain you child while getting seen. They have Netflix and other services to play on those TVs. All in all we have been going here for over a year and half and would not think about going anywhere else.

Is it weird to actually want to spend more time at the dentist's? Books, Mario Kart, and a play area for the kids, coffee and comfy couches for the adults, and best of all a therapy dog for everyone! GREATEST DENTAL OFFICE. They’re welcoming and friendly and has a play area for your kids with toys and video games and TVs in the back for treatment whether their laying down or sitting up. The Dentist makes the child feel safe and comfortable while performing dental treatment with cool glasses and a super hero cape. My kids love going to the dentist now. I can’t tell you how truly amazing Dr. Kwak and staff are! My daughter is shy and timid of anything new, especially people. My daughter has the best time at the dentist and it makes my mommy heart thrilled! The whole team catered to my daughter to ensure she had a positive experience. I took my son here for his 1st dental checkup & it went so smoothly!!! This place and their staff are so kid-friendly! The waiting room has books, toys, a chalkboard, & Nintendo. Dr. Kwak & the hygienist, Juan, were so kind and patient! They showed each tool before using it to gain trust & understanding. They literally have TVs mounted to the wall & ceiling so your child can watch a movie during their dental exam!!!! The level of thought put into every aspect of the visit is impressive! He even got a visit from their precious therapy dog, Buddy, to calm his nerves. When the exam was over, he was given a goodie bag and coins for their surprise toy dispenser. After he loved on Buddy one last time we walked to the car & he was begging us to go back. We have been working through a lot of sensory issues & the visit was surprisingly a breeze! Wow. AMAZING. First of all, everything was so clean and sanitized and everyone was in separate rooms, perfect. Karen was soooo friendly, so gentle, explained everything to my 7 year old before she did anything, she had to do xrays and he was terrified from a previous experience, but she made him laugh and feel so much better about the dentist experience. Monique cleaned his teeth and was just as equally friendly, explained the whole teeth cleaning process and she got him talking and asking so many questions and he loved it! I had visited he site the day before her appointment and saw the recommendations about watching certain television shows or reading certain books and since we have the majority of them I decided to do a quick catch-up. The day of her appointment she was visibly nervous she didn't take her nap because she told me her tummy hurt abpit going to the dentist I was really nervous that it was not going to go well. My husband took her to the covid-19 restrictions and he said that she was an absolute champ all because of the staff and the dentist. They were super accommodating making sure they talked to her about her favorite bunny, they gave her a blanket because she mentioned it was a little chilly in the office and all around just made her feel so good about being there. I would highly recommend this place to anybody in the League city area !

First walked in my son was greeted by name. Staff genuinely seemed to be nice. They have a nice play area for the kiddos. Hardly no wait time. The dentist 🦷 educated me while simultaneously reading a book, making a ballon animal and keeping my sons attention. I love the idea of having a tv on the ceiling for when you have to lay back in the chair. The doctor recommended a special toothpaste that my insurance doesn’t cover and it’s $50. I wish they had free samples to offer because that’s a lot for me.

The actual dentist came out before our appt and played with her and introduced himself. He was so patient and introduced play with everything he did. They were super safe in regards to COVID, but more than that - they were all so sweet! I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kwak and his staff. We were in the process of switching to their practice since they were so much closer than my kids’ previous dentist. The week before our first appointment, my toddler had a scooter accident and knocked her front teeth loose. I called their after-hours number and Dr. Kwak called me back promptly to discuss. He was very thorough and never made me feel rushed, even though he was out of state on a family vacation. We have since been to their office twice and each time they were so friendly and made my kids feel completely comfortable. They have so many kid-friendly details like the play area in the waiting room, the superhero capes they can wear to feel brave, the giant gumball machine that dispenses little toys, and of course Buddy the doodle. I have a very anxious and uncooperative 3-year old but even she left giving Dr. Kwak a high five (which is huge!!).

I was looking for a second opinion, after an invasive treatment suggested by other dentist, but Dr. Kwak resolved with minimum invasiveness for my son's tooth. Wow!!! Amazing!! Entering you are greeted with such a warm, friendly, and cheerful place and such kind people. The kids were able to greet and pet 2 adorable dogs which helped calm any fears they might be having. Then they got to play in a little area that was so fun! When they were called back they got to pick their very own super hero cape (which they loved). Everything they did with/to the kids was presented in a kid way, making it fun and not scary. The kids did everything they needed to do and were not the least bit scared. They were able to watch their favorite show in the chair too!! The dentist was thorough and explained the xrays. My 4 year old got her first cavities filled here. Another dentist had told us she would need to be sedated to have them filled, which made me very nervous so I came to Dr. Kwak to get a second opinion and I’m so glad I did! He gave me alternatives to liquid sedation and we ended up using laughing gas only. He was so kind and encouraging to my daughter. We have had not-so-great experiences with pediatric dentists, but LCPD is AMAZING. My oldest son is on spectrum and they handled him perfectly. They found a few cavities, so we had to have fillings done. The staff did an amazing job making him feel comfortable and relaxed. They were actually able to do all the work needed in one quick visit, rather than spreading it between 2 visits. As of the end of the year, LCPD will no longer be in our Dental Network, but we will still be using them. (PS) Buddy the Service dog is a VIP and the highlight of their visits!

In the past my four year old had fear while visiting the dentist. Yesterday everyone at League City Pediatric Dentistry made sure that she was comfortable during her visit. Every tool used on my daughter was explained to her and they allowed her to touch it with her hand before using it in her mouth. The lobby is like a big play room & the exam rooms have TVs to allow the kiddos to watch something while they are cleaning and working on your kid. Loved the dental staff! My only complaint was we had a 2 o’clock appointment and we needed to call before we were let in. I called and no one answered - it was also pouring rain. So I grabbed my 2yo and we went to see if anyone was at the front desks- no one was there and we waited outside for 5 mins. Then when we Got let in, I had to fill in some paperwork that I thought I already did with trying to keep my toddler on my lap bc she couldn’t play with the reg toys bc of covid/ this was the only frustrating part. I wish they would of called me before hand to get the paperwork done so I didn’t feel so stressed out. That was also the only place she threw a fit. I loved the dentist and hygienist! They’re ere excellent with my toddler. I Felt very comfortable and educated when we walked away.

I must say I am SUPER impressed with the way the office has changed for Covid19. The staff are all wearing head to toe protective gear, the whole office is immaculately clean and even commonly touched surfaces like door knobs have been wrapped for easy sanitation. If I didn’t know better I’d think we were in an operating room. I love that they have you call in before walking in so There’s only one guest in the waiting room at a time. Everyone gets screened and they even checked temperature. I know these are the recommendations given by CDC but let’s face it, few businesses are actually enforcing it. Rest assured this place is safe for you and ur family.

I felt so compelled to write this and couldn’t wait to tell everyone about the amazing experience we had. Anyone with kids I HIGHLY recommend League City Pediatric Dentistry off of 96 by 45. I cant express how much I truly recommend them. Dental Assistant Karen and the dentist were so amazing with her. They have a therapy service dog named Buddy who is there for the kids that are scared of the dentist. He’s still in training but he is so sweet! They have plenty to play with in the waiting room including Mario Kart which is awesome if you’re a grown up kid like me. 😂 Rylee had a few cavity and had to get a filling. They were so amazing she didnt flinch or anything once! They talked her through it and kept things to terms she understood and distracted her through the numbing shots so that she didnt even know she got them. They had a tv to watch on the ceiling for her to watch the whole time and of course they asked her her favorite show and put it on! She got a coin to put in a machine at the end and get a prize along with other goodies. The dentist answered all my questions before I had to ask. I give them 10/10 and we will be going for all of Rylee’s dental needs. You can tell how much thought they put into making the kids as comfortable as possible.
