I have no doubt that this practice continues to be as warm, friendly, and successful as it was when I first started going there a few years ago. I was Dr. Santiago's patient and from the very beginning, I was treated with respect and kindness. The whole office went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and valued as a patient. If I could, I would travel back to CT just to continue being seen there. Dr. Santiago has since retired, but I know how much work and care she put into finding the best new dentists out there for her patients. Beautiful Smiles treated my sister (also a patient) and I like family. Thank you so much, Beautiful Smiles and Dr. Santiago, for all your hard work and dedication! PS: it literally does feel like you're going to a relaxation retreat when you first step in!

I am so happy with my dental care. Dr Santiago and her team are so thorough and strive for perfection. My husband is now her patient and I brought my kids who are all very happy to be under Dr Santiago's care. Dr Santiago is unique in that she gives the personal touch: she calls to check on her patients after procedures (this is rare), she has the latest and greatest technology and she is meticulous. It's obvious that her staff loves working there, too. The hygienists, dental assistant, and business associates are kind, caring, and knowledgeable.

Going to the dentist is my least favorite thing to do. BUT These people at Santiago's office are relaxed and professional, friendly, patient, and kind. They strive to help me feel comfortable and at ease. Their equipment is state of the art and utilized appropriately. Dr. Santiago is talented and very skilled. It's hard to explain just how AMAZING Dr. Santiago and her team are!! They are all so knowledgeable and they help their patients to understand what is happening and why they are doing or recommending what they are. The most important thing though is how they make you feel from the moment you walk in the door. Everyone there welcomes you and you will immediately feel relaxed (even when you may have something a bit scary coming up). They always ask questions about your family and you can tell that they truly care about their patients. They will take the time to talk to you, make you comfortable and make you feel as if you are their number 1 priority. I trust Dr. Santiago and her entire team with the care of my family and strongly encourage you to do the same. If I could give 10 stars I would!!

My dental assistant was excellent, very considerate of my personal needs while still getting her work done. (I wish I remember her name.) They used very cool new technology since my last crown, which was much easier to tolerate than the old dental molds. Mr Dr Kievit (his partner is his wife, who may or may not have the last name) was thorough with his new tech and explained the procedure until I was confident that I fully understood the procedures he did that day and what I could expect at the next appointment. I'd definitely, and with great confidence, recommend Dr K to anyone! And, random perk, their practice has a unique and interesting decor, from waiting room to bathrooms. Oddly, it makes the already smiling dentist seem, surprisingly, to have added a little extra fun to dental work!

Beautiful Smiles - West Hartford As you enter, the feeling is more like you are in a Spa rather than a dentist's office. It is warm and comforting and so are the staff. Dr. Alyssa McIntyre Kievit and Dr. Robert Kievit are excellent dentists and provide the best of care. Their time spent with each patient is devoted to solving the problems at hand. You never feel rushed in and out and of course, you wind up with a beautiful smile.

Beautiful Smiles is simply that, beautiful. In all our years we’ve never experienced a dentist office like this. The office itself is beautiful, restful, and calming. The staff is beyond warm and supportive never mind accommodating. And last but not least, Doctors Alyssa Kievit and Robert Kievit are magicians. We’ve been avoiding going to a dentist because we were overwhelmed at the thought of all we had to do. By the time we left we had plans that felt eminently manageable. We will never use any other dentists and can’t recommend them and Beautiful Smiles enough!

I called the office number at 5 pm on a Sunday night and the answer machine gave me a direct number to Dr Kievit. He is an excellent dentist and extremely accommodating! He offered to go into the office on a Sunday night because I thought I needed a root canal. The pain went away the next day I called to cancel a Monday appointment he set up for me. Two days later the pain was back he saw me immediately. The office staff is so friendly, and makes you feel comfortable as soon as you walk in the office. The office is beautiful, makes you feel relaxed as soon as you walk in with the decor. I would recommend Dr. Kievit to anyone!

Caring & professional staff; from Dr. Santiago, to the dental hygienists, to the office & billing managers. Dr. Santiago caught a few things on my x-rays that had been missed by other dentists, which saved me a lot of future troubles. All of the equipment is high-end & state-of-the-art; even the water for irrigation is heated to body temp. :-) Dr. Santiago follows-up with a phone call after any major procedure to ensure that everything is OK. I definitely recommend Smiles by Santiago.

Who likes to go to the dentist? Hardly anyone, and I'm no different. With great trepidation I climbed the stairs. The moment I opened the door I began to relax... ah, yes... the sight and sound of the fountain, the soft lighting, the soothing music. Then the greeting at the front desk... suddenly my shoulders began to relax and I recalled that this wasn't a pain filled horror show. I loved everyone here, they are a family that invites you in. I will not leave in pain, they are gentle. They will help me find a way to pay for this, they are conscientious! Now I can't remember why I was nervous at all! I went in for a consultation for Invisaligns and the staff was amazing, all of them were very friendly. Unfortunately Dr. Santiago was 40 minutes late for my consultation and didn't even look inside my mouth. A staff member took pictures of my teeth so I'm guessing that was what she went off of but it was unprofessional to me as a dentist to leave it up to your staff to explain the process of the procedure she would be over seeing. So in the end it was a waste of $50 I could have just looked on YouTube for free for the service she provided.

Robin, I got back from Puerto Rico yesterday. I have to tell you that my teeth were the source of countless compliments while I was there. My Mom and my sister were shocked because they say that they look more natural than my natural teeth. They are used to the awful caps that they do in Puerto Rico which look like corn. One of my aunts and her daughter, on the "stuffy" side of the family paid an arm and a leg to have hideous veneers put in. They were besides themselves and asking me all kinds of questions.
