This group has really put thought into making you feel comfortable and relaxed. The office looks and feels like a luxurious home. With TV's at the end of the chair for you to watch, it eases any anxiety. The staff were so nice and helpful. I went for a cleaning and they were able to create a treatment plan through my insurance. They explain everything they are doing before they do it. I highly recommend this office and staff!

Hillcrest Dental is truly an exceptional office!! The doctors and staff are beyond kind and the patient is always their top priority. The office is so clean and feels more like a spa then a dental practice I have seen Dr. Jones and Dr. Johnson and they are both great! I have also been fortunate enough to get the same dental assistant, Megan Cox, several times and she is fantastic! She communicates adequately to ensure you understand what’s happening and goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable. During a checkup I found out I might need a root canal and was so nervous but Meagan eased my nerves and I was more relaxed about the process. As a member of the military lifestyle, both a child and a spouse, I have been to countless dental offices and Hillcrest is hands down the BEST! I recommend them to everyone as I would use them long term if I could. Thank you to the doctors and staff for such genuine service during my time in Gulfport, MS.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I went to Hillcrest today for a new patient appointment and I’ve never been happier to go back to the dentist. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is just as equally amazing. The dentist and the ladies that cleaned my teeth were super gentle and extremely friendly. 10/10 for sure.

This place is wonderful! Making an appointment was super easy. When you arrive you are greeted by nice staff. The hygienist are knowledgeable and compassionate, which is wonderful for someone like me who is nervous about going to the dentist. And Dr. Nguyen is amazing!! He is nice, caring, funny and very knowledgeable. I have already booked my mom and husband an appointment here.

Highly recommend: I am absolutely petrified of the dentist and this office is extremely nice. The staff is very friendly and explain things thoroughly. I told them my fears and the Dentist was very careful to check in with me every step of the way. The discharge and aftercare instructions were clear and precise. My name is Amber and I’m proud to say Dr Johnson was one of the best dentists I could’ve hoped for a few days ago, she was more than patient and empathetic and wasn’t in a rush like I’ve seen a dentist be before, her job wasn’t easy because my extractions weren’t easy and required her maximum effort and and patience but she gave me her very best and I don’t think it would have went as well had I gotten any other dentist that day. She should not only be requested by a new patient but very appreciated!!

Awesome, awesome, awesome! Although I'm fearful of going to the dentist, I enjoy the atmosphere, professionalism, and kindness of staff. One of my favorite amenities is the complimentary HAND MASSAGE, which is very soothing and calming. The lobby is set up like a luxurious living room, with fruit water, a kergeg coffee machine, fireplace, etc. I wonder if they would mind if I stop by, sit, and read a book just for comfort. I tell all my buddies all the time about Hillcrest Dental Group, and I say, come see for yourself, you'll be amazed. "I'm not a paid employee that wrote this, I'm an actual patient." Hillcrest Dental Group has been my husbands Dental Provider and he has had nothing but good things to say about them. This past week I had my first visit with Dr. Nguyen for a extraction. I was very nervous before I got to the back(due to "Dental Anxiety")and met Mr.Nyguen and his assistants. His assistants were very very nice and comforted me which I appreciated more than words. Only thing I can say that didn't make since is he told me that the remaining teeth were infected in my mouth .(which I knew) and was already having pain from one of them. Don't get why I wasn't sent home with antibiotics to clear it up and keep from being in so much pain still. Woke up this morning to my face swollen 3xits normal size. In pain also! 💔

I called last minute on a Friday afternoon after a tooth cracked. I was a new patient and was in desperate need of help and a new dentist. From the new patient appointment phone call to the actual office appointment, the staff and providers here were absolutely phenomenal! They were patient, informative, and very kind. The dental assistant and Dr. Nguyen kept me informed the whole way and made me feel at ease. This was already a nerve wracking experience, but they made it all the better just by the way they treated me! They definitely put patient care a TOP priority! I would HIGHLY recommend this practice to ANYONE needing dental care, you will NOT be disappointed! I am so glad I have found them and will continue to use them for all of my and my families dental needs. Thank y’all so much!

Dr Jones is one of the best dentist I have seen! She was highly recommended by a friend and participates as a provider in Delta network. The facility is meticulous, her staff is so courteous and I like not having to wait for my appointments. I was there with an 81 y.o. friend who had suffered a severe stroke in 2018 which resulted in right sided paralysis and expressive aphasia. All staff, and Dr. Teresa Jones were patient with her. I was very impressed that they spoke to her, with her difficulties, rather than to me, her friend that easily answered for her. She was given choices as to what she could do. It was a very good experience, especially for her!

Dr. Jones always shows patience and is gentle in the way she has taken care of me and my boys. Meagan is probably the boys favorite assistant, they say she's fun. Dr. Varney is the best! And all the staff are so caring and warm with friendliness! Dr. Varney is fast, has little hands, tenderhearted, and most excellent in every way! And her mom, Dr. Jones is the same way!! I came to Hillcrest Dental with a horrible history of dental nightmares and had extreme anxiety even time I went to a dentist, even if it was just for a cleaning. I would have to take an anxiety pill just to be able to go. But now.... I no longer have to take an anxiety pill!!! My hygienist Tracy, is extremely gentle, so gentle you can hardly even feel her cleaning you teeth!! My first visit, I shared with her my anxiety and she responded in the most excellent way to calm me about the experience. Since then, all the staff have been so tender hearted with me expressing genuine care and concern EVERY TIME I HAVE TO GO!!! This is the only place I would ever go as long as I live here on the coast!!!

I love Hillcrest Dental in Gulfport MS. The building is so beautiful, well maintained and clean. The receptionists are very nice and welcoming. X-rays were very detailed, appointments are easy to schedule, they have evening appointments which was convenient for my family/work schedule. I loved my experience here. After several negative encounters with previous dental groups in the past, I strayed away from my normal routine. When it was time to make an appointment for an issue, even as a new patient they got me in quickly and were very excited and helpful through the whole process. I’ve been seeing Dr. Jones for awhile. She by far is one of the best dentists I’ve ever been to on every level. I already loved this dental office for so many reasons, even after Coronavirus had taken away the hand massage/paraffin wax treatment I received every dental cleaning, they still have the best office experience & they do great on my teeth. Today though they took their game up to an entirely new level!!!! I had limited time for my appointment today due to scheduling. I’m normally in very quickly even under the current safety precautions, which are also on an outstanding level. I had a longer than normal wait time & wasn’t upset, just asked if they had an eta to be seen. I was in next & taken care of like normal & legitimately hadn’t given the delay a second thought. After check out they gave me an entirely unexpected surprise!! All for a few minutes of wait....utterly amazing & made my day! Dr. Jones & her staff at Hillcrest were already top notch in my book, but this...WOW!

Everyone is friendly, caring and they make you feel comfortable while you are receiving services. I have been going here since 2005 after Hurricane Katrina, the old Courthouse Rd location, because a previous dentist told me I had several cavities in my mouth. When Hillcrest Dental examined and x-rayed my mouth, they told me I had no cavities. I admire their honesty and not doing unnecessary work. Tracy has been my hygienist since I've been going here and its always a pleasure to see her 2x a year and to have her clean my teeth. I showed up at 7:30 am without an appointment for a tooth extraction. At 9:30 am I was walking out the door minus a tooth. There was only minimal soreness and the doctor and assistant were awesome. The entire procedure (in fact, the entire visit) was painless and fun. Yes, fun! That is the best recommendation for a dentist visit I can imagine.

I was referred to Hillcrest Dental Group by a friend because I suffer from anxiety and I am deathly afraid of going to the dentist. I felt important from the moment I was on the phone making my appointment to initially come in. She knew that I was in pain and insisted that I come on in. Upon arrival I was greeted by the sweetest young ladies that took my temperature and confirmed my appointment and checked me in. Then I checked in at the front desk and it was less than 5 minutes and I was greeted by Angel and taken to the back. Even though she was new, she was sweet. She took my xrays tried to calm me while I was waiting on Dr. Nguyen. My tooth was cracked and needed to come out. Dr. Nguyen was VERY comforting and went above and beyond and did everything in his power to make the extracting of my tooth as painless as possible. I absolutely LOVE Dr. Nguyen and I have found my dental home.....

AAAAAAAAMAZINGGGGGGG service! They were able to see me the same day that I called and when I tell you that their customer service is impeccable, it’s amazing! The dentist comforted me and was soooo patient and gentle with me when I went in to get my tooth pulled! This place is 45 minutes away from me, but I stumbled upon it trying to find someone to extract my tooth that was killing me, but they have my business from here on out! I was extremely pleased with the experience I had today at Hillcrest. Like most people, I have Covid-19 concerns and a dental appointment ........ ? They had the most professional, friendly staff to eliminate.any concerns. It might take a few minutes to handle their protocol at the front door, better than anything I have seen before at any Dr's office, etc. ALL people had mask and gloves on, even behind the plexiglass shields at the front desk ! And the double mask on all were worn correctly. Bottom line, if you need a new dentist, please call them. Need a crown ? They did mine on-site in about two hours. Awesome place and people .

I love this dentist practice! I have never had dental care as awesome as here. The dentists and staff are ALWAYS friendly, patient, and professional. I am a military dependent and this dentist also allows for the use of tricare. I am so impressed with this dental group. Also, they offer a few awesome perks such as hand massage and heated massage pads on all chairs while you get your teeth cleaned and checked out. Honestly, it is almost spa-like.

Had a tooth that was bothering me greatly. A filling had come out and the tooth was extremely sensitive and I needed it fixed ASAP due to extreme pain. Most other places on the coast told me they don’t take emergency appointments and I would have to wait several days and if I was in a lot of pain I could just go to the emergency room. However Hillcrest Dental worked with me to try and find an opening or a way to work me in between appointments since I was in so much pain. After I called they seen me in an hour and sent all paperwork in advance so I could get assistance quicker once I arrive. I got there early and despite them being very busy they took me back and within an hour I was headed home pain free. The staff at the front door, staff at the front desk, dental assistant, and DR were all great!!! Not to mention this is one of the nicest, cleanest dental facilities I have ever been in. I highly recommend this place as they are superior to several of their places I have been on the coast. I have a wife and 6 kids and I will be bringing my entire family back!!!

They took a conservative approach and had the dentist look at the issue before taking expensive xrays since I was paying out of pocket and had had xrays less than a year ago. Ended up it was not serious and Dr. Jones ground down the rough edge and evened up surrounding teeth for no charge. Staff is always rockstar quality in service and all interactions. Beautiful facility is just the icing on the cake!!! Please try them!

I wont say pain free as my experience may be different than others with different physiologies. The new building looks amazing. The waiting area is very comfortable.
