Icon dental is a warm and welcoming dentistry starting at the front door. The receptionist were extremely welcoming and made you feel comfortable! Does not look like your average dentist. Beautiful decor with comfortable seating. Whitney, my hygienist was very thorough, answered all of my questions and ensured I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Would recommend to friends and family!

Icon Dental is the best! I’ve been going here for all my dental needs for 7 years now. Dentist visits can feel cold and awkward sometimes, but never at Icon. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. They make me feel taken care of and always make sure to keep things running on time. As someone who isn't a fan of dentists, Dr. Nguyen and the team at Icon Dental are the only practice I like going to. They provide quality medical care, work with you on detailed plans for continuous health and work hard to make each visit a comfortable environment. After a few years of not visiting a dentist due to some anxiety, moving cross-country, and the pandemic I came to Icon in August for a cleaning with Haley. She was great - really kind and gentle and didn't make me feel bad for not having gone to the dentist in a while! I needed a few fillings and crowns and Dr. Neda set me up with a great treatment plan to get everything done in a few months. I ended up needing a root canal and Dr. Neda fit me in last minute to look at it and recommended a great endodontist. She even put in my permanent crown the next day! Overall, all the work I needed to get done was easy, simple and quick and I never had much pain afterwards. All the assistants I had were really nice and took the time to explain every part of the process so I knew what was going on. TVs on the ceiling keep you distracted. Everyone there is so kind and welcoming. The office is clean and there is always street parking available and close to the RTD.

I have been coming to Icon Dental for my cleanings and check-ups for the past 3 years and it’s always a pleasant experience. They take the time to explain and show you what’s going on with your teeth and they have provided estimates for treatments every time I requested it. Even one time that I had to wait 20 minutes because of some misunderstanding during check in, they apologized for the inconvenience and gave me a Starbucks giftcard. I appreciate how they take care of their patients and make us feel welcome.

Hi. DR TARJAN AND Neyda ARE THE BEST. Literally, they take care of their patients and ACTUALLY CARE. I am a traveling nurse and super stressed and busy, but Neyda always helps me out and makes it easy to take care of my Invisalign!!!! Dr Tarjan is so kind, she actually cares about my Invisalign treatment and the outcome, didn’t just sush me out the door and forget me. This place is worth every penny! Plus, stylish office, mo and clean. Good location. Park in the market at lot and walk across no problem. My confidence changed because of Dr Tarjan and with Neyda’s help I am able to easily keep up my retainers and pearly whites! You are NOT just a number here! They care.

Always a great time. I’ve had wonderful experiences, and truly enjoy the hygienists and doctors. For having serious dental anxiety, they always work with me to make sure I’m happy. Dr. Trajan put in some amazing crowns, filled a few cavities, and other general procedures. My only complaint is the last 2 times I’ve visited, I had 15-30 minute waits to see Dr. Trajan after the hygienist had completed their work. I think that is due to being a little stretched thin and seeing a lot of patients. But for the quality of care, it is always worth it. Get the OraCare mouthwash and the Clinpro toothpaste.

Have never written a review but I thought this service warranted it. I travel a lot, so getting seen at Icon Dental was a one time thing when I happened to be in Denver & without a cleaning for far too long. The service there was wonderful, but I decided to put off cavity fillings until I was home again, and my regular dentist had asked me to see if I could get x-rays from Icon. I sent a message over on the website with my info & reason for messaging, & within minutes they had texted me and emailed me the x-rays I asked for. We maybe exchanged about 3 messages! I had put off this phone call all day because of previous experiences with getting medical records and dealing with this sort of thing - little to my knowledge it would be this much of a breeze. If I'm ever back in Denver long-term I will definitely be making this my regular dentist. Recommend for sure!

I normally have nightmare experiences at dentist offices, but this was on the complete other end of the spectrum. My hygienist, Ashley, was super friendly, checked in during my entire cleaning, and was up-front and transparent about additional things that I could add on during my cleaning (laser and fluoride treatments). The dentist also took time to review my X-rays and ensure I had no questions. She provided my with her recommendation in low-pressure environment. Will return here for my next appointment.

Every employee is nice here. Their training must be really good. They explain everything well. Even though I had a lot of cavities they weren’t pushy about when I should make my appointments understanding my financial concerns. I went back once to get a filling fixed; they got me in right away and took care of me without any issue. I was looking for another dental care provider in Downtown Denver and a friend highly recommended Icon Dental. It’s location in the LoDo/Larimer Square area was easy to get to from the 16th Street Mall Ride and the office space was very attractive. I received excellent care from Dr. Brandon and Whitney for my 6 month cleaning, they were so friendly and thorough. I felt at ease with them and felt I could relate with them personally as well. Icon Dental has been my primary dentist for the last 6 months or so. I was nervous starting at a new office but have been so pleasantly surprised and put at ease every-time I am here. The hygienists and doctors I have had have all been AMAZING. They are fast and efficient but careful, and thoughtful. It is so easy to get a hold of someone here between calling or emailing the front staff, they are always so helpful and never make me feel rushed or like a burden like some offices I have visited. They just recently got me scheduled for a last minute (same day) 10 min check in on a tooth that had recently gotten a root canal procedure done. I just wanted to take some time to talk about my wonderful experience at icon dental. I have been coming to this place for years and both Dr Tarjans have been excellent and really nice. The office is so clean and they have the newest technology. Recently I needed a root canal and was referred to the endodontist. He was so thorough and went over all my options. I was so nervous but in the end he was so gentle and it only took 20 minutes!! Afterwards Dr Tarjan completed the crown in the same appointment!! Then next day all my pain went away and I had zero discomfort. This clinic is amazing and I couldn’t think of another place to go to for my dental care

I moved to Denver late last year and have had two routine check-ups. This is the best dental practice I have been to in my 60+ years residing in 5 cities. First, the examination was thorough. This practice uses several new technologies that were explained to me. Second, services I had never heard of were offered. I chose to have a laser cleaning, which I highly recommend - my teeth have never been so clean. I was not pressured to buy services, though. Third, my dental tech and dentist were both personable and professional. So was the office staff. Fourth, being able to make appointments online and receive and complete paperwork in advance was nice too. I have good teeth due to heredity and have never paid that much attention to them. This practice has motivated me to take steps to preserve my good tooth health that others had recommended, but I had never followed through on before. That says a lot!

I had a great experience with Icon Dental and happy to say I have found a new, reliable dentist office. The staff is friendly and very accommodating. With the current pandemic, I was furloughed and losing my dental insurance at the end of the month. After my consultation, they were able to fit me in for another appointment by the end of the month to get my teeth cleaning, cavities filled, and a replacement retainer before my insurance ran out. THANK YOU!! At first I was a bit nervous getting my teeth looked at during Covid but once I arrived and learned of their rigorous cleaning and procedures, I felt a million times better. I doubt other offices are going to this extent. Highly recommend!!! __________________________ Additional notes added Feb 2020: After my recent experience with my wisdom teeth extraction, I felt it was necessary to add an additional comment here about my experience especially since I didn't see anything about extractions in the comments. I think it is important to note, my bottom wisdom teeth were taken out by my previous dentist when I was 16 and they never took out my top ones- It was one of the worst experience of my life. For over a decade, I have been to several dentists who have tried to convince (and trick) me to get them removed but I was terrified after my first experience. After talking with the dentists at Icon Dental and them explaining to me why it is necessary to get them taken out, I found (some) courage to do it. To say the least, the week before the procedure, I had anxiety about the extraction. I called them several times asking them different questions about the process and procedure. Each time, they did a great job explaining the procedure, reassuring me that everything was going to be okay, and it will be a different experience than the first time. They were right; the experiences were really night and day. I didn't feel a thing (unlike last time) and although I was in some pain the following 2 days, It was incomparable to my last experience. Icon dental and their experienced staff did an incredible job overall with not only the procedure but helping ease some of my anxiety. Thank you all again for your professionalism!

The people who work at ICON Dental are all about customer satisfaction. From the moment I walked in, until the moment I left everyone went out of their way to make sure I was accommodated. Around 4:30, the Dr and Hygenist went through my care plan which involved getting sealants and a night guard fitting. When we tried to schedule a follow up appointment for these things everyone realized that my teacher's schedule is the same as the dentist's office. It was no problem. They quickly said they would stay late to complete everything THAT DAY! Today was my first visit to Icon Dental and I had the greatest experience. I haven't been to the dentist in well over a year because I was extremely unsatisfied with most dentists I've been to in Denver. Dental care is extremely important to me. Everywhere else I have been a patient made me feel like I wasn't getting a proper cleaning or care for my teeth. At Icon Dental the hygienist I had was amazing. She was super friendly and fun to talk to. We talked about my engagement and she let me know that they offer free whitening to brides and grooms! SCORE! Dr. Nazeli Tarjan was also extremely nice and helpful. I did walk out with a few issues with my teeth but I know it's because I didn't have the best dentists and care in the recent past. I felt that both the hygienist and dentist were extremely thorough and knowledgeable. The office setting is extremely comfortable and modern. Really cool setting in a downtown office. I felt that all their technology, dental instruments, etc. were very advanced and and up to date. SO IMPORTANT! That's what I want in a dentist. Overall it was a great experience I and am extremely excited that I've found a dentist that I can stick with from this point forward.

Everyone in the office were professional and super nice. My hygienist was personable and understood to treat me more delicate because this was my first time seeing a dentist outside of the dentist I had been seeing since I was a little girl. I was nervous, but she instantly put me at ease! Dr. Tarjan took the time to answer all of my questions and never made our time together feel rushed or unimportant. I unfortunately have a couple cavities and Dr. Tarjan, seeing that I was upset by this revelation, asked my hygienist to schedule an hour and a half (instead of an hour) for the procedure so that I could have plenty of time to be as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I really appreciated this! I would highly recommend this place for your dental needs...especially if you are nervous having any poking around your mouth like me. They are also up to date with all the new technology. They took a full 3D x-ray of my mouth, plus, took individual pictures of my teeth. This way, Dr. Tarjan could show me exactly where the decay was and how she would fix it. Super informative and the "goodie bag" afterwards of toothpaste, floss and brush was a nice touch. I look forward to going back, even though I do not look forward to being numb for a few hours.

The staff is very professional and comforting it is essentially a ZERO stress atmosphere. I am so pleased and on top of that I am saving quite a bit over my last dentist who advised procedures that it turns out I didn't really need. Dr. Tarjan is very helpful and highly skilled. Any time there is something other than a normal cleaning they want to do, they explain it fully and check to see how much it would cost out of pocket first. I was very shook up and in horrible pain after having paid a fortune for work it turned out I didn't really need, and was done poorly. Michelle, the practice manager, is exceptionally efficient and considerate. She had all of my insurance loaded up before I even arrived for my first appointment, booked my appointment with the endodontist in a snap and had my records and insurance to them in a blink. She is proactive in tracking your insurance claims and limits and helps to ensure you fully utilize your benefits, without going over. I will never go to any other dentist if I can help it. Lovely people, relaxing office, great experience!

I had not been to the dentist in a few years and decided to go here based on the positive reviews on the internet. I am glad I did. Both the deep scaling and fillings went as well as could be expected. The deep scaling is a more intensive cleaning for people like myself that have gone a long time without seeing a dentist. When I have had this procedure before it left my mouth sore and bloody. This time was almost completely without discomfort. I have never had my teeth cleaned so well and I was impressed with how careful the hygienist was to minimize irritation to my gums. The fillings went as well as they could and I felt like the Dr and her assistant were focused and competent. Finally, I found the "front office" staff to be very professional and helpful.

I'm honestly blown away by the poor reviews I'm reading here. My last dental experience was 2 years ago - a nameless location I'd found with good reviews on Yelp - where they refused to do a standard cleaning and advised I do a deep clean due to my teeth being "so bad." I got my records from them and forwarded the findings to a close family friend dentist who reviewed and said that the other dentist was incorrect. He advised I don't use Yelp as my guide for dental work (haha) and he lives in another state or I'd go to him as my dentist regularly. My poor experience there held me back from trying to find another dentist because I just didn't know where to begin. When I went to my primary care physician she referred me to Icon Dental, so I figured I'd give them a shot. They were also shocked the last dentist would only push for deep cleaning. They were very honest about everything happening with my teeth and did not pressure me into any extra dental work beyond what I needed. We prioritized what needed to happen going forward and discussed what billing would look like at various times in relationship to my insurance. I honestly didn't think I would trust a dentist again after that other terrible experience, but Dr. Tarjan has already helped to restore my trust.

Rae, the dental assistant, had the retainer fixed and glue perfectly in line the first try. I was truly amazed at how “wowed” I was with my experience today as a new patient. The office is stunning - super cool remodel of a beautiful old brick building. The staff are incredibly gracious and friendly - very responsive and tuned into their patient’s needs. My cleaning and check-up involved state of the art equipment I had never seen before in other dental offices. For example, they record photos of your teeth and bite in addition to x-rays to track future changes. Pretty cool! The new patient “paperwork” was so easy to navigate and done entirely on an iPad. It was a pretty incredible experience, and I don’t often find myself saying that about dental or doctor offices. I definitely will recommded Icon to co-workers and friends!

My experience at Icon Dental was great! I had to get an emergency cavity filled and they were able to get me in right away on a Friday afternoon. The staff was so nice and friendly and the office is very clean and well decorated (and of course a great location downtown). I was offered coffee or water upon arrival and was in the dentist chair within minutes. Dr. Tarjan was very friendly and we talked all about her dental experience and background. She was extra careful with my sensitive teeth, and there was even a flat screen tv to watch and headphones to wear while getting work done. Before leaving I received a little bag with the typical toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss, but it also included a lottery ticket and a personalized hand written note from Nazeli. Went to my first visit today. They were fantastic! Extremely friendly staff across the board. Unlike other reviews, I didn't feel pressured into anything all. They explained what they were doing each step and were happy to answer questions. They told me possible future issues if I didn't do x, y, z but definitely didn't sell me anything. Best of all, they genuinely seemed interested to talk to me. It wasn't the typical 'ask a question while I have the tools in your mouth so you can't answer.' They took time to get to know me both before and after and any time were waiting for the next step. Even waited for my Lyft in the lobby and had a great conversation with the front desk rep. So, I LOVE Dr. Tarjan and her staff. What I love just as much as all of them is the service you get when coming here. I truly get excited to go to the dentist. Who can say that?! I have been going here for a little over a year and I will never go anywhere else. I am always greeted with a smile and true warmth and that warmth continues throughout the appointment. I am immediately brought back at my appointment time, so I am able to schedule around my crazy work schedule. Dr. Tarjan is so great about telling me what she is doing and why she is doing it. I had some large metal fillings, from when I was a kid, that ended up cracking my teeth. She not only took them out, but then re-filled them with composite and guess what... it didn't hurt at all! She uses a topical numbing agent before she numbs the nerve and even when that wore off my bite felt perfectly normal and I went straight back to work with no hesitation. On a even higher note, I recently got engaged and I was so excited to tell all the girls at Icon Dental. They were all so excited for us and asked me the story of how he did it and ooed and awed over my ring. How great of a feeling. THEN, Dr. Tarjan informed me that they do FREE TEETH WHITENING for their brides and grooms! This review is getting a little long, but I could go on and on. These are just a couple of my personal experiences that have made me a forever patient.

I am new to the area, and needed to find a dentist in an urgent type situation. When I called Icon Dental to book my appointment, one of the questions asked was what I like/dislike about previous dentists, and I stated that I had switched dentists in Minn because my previous dentist was very pushy when it came to services, etc. and I didn't care for that tactic. During my first visit it Icon, I did feel pressured into purchasing items and services needed. I was "told" I needed a special mouthwash and a special toothpaste; I wasn't told the cost or even really given the option. They were merely in my "bag" at the end of my visit. And $65 later (for mouthwash and toothpaste) I was on my way. I really felt there could have been more explanation on cost and necessity of these items, instead of just "assuming" it was ok. Most likely I would have purchased, but I didn't really feel I was given a choice. Plus, I can find the items sold to me by the dentist online for about ½ the cost. In addition, I was provided with a very long “laundry” list of work that I should have done. I felt it was a bit much on my first visit! Especially when I was asked before my appointment what I like/dislike, and I was very clear that I dislike being made to feel pushed or pressured into treatment. BUT, the good things about this dental practice, is everyone was extremely kind, I felt they were knowledgeable and caring! So with that being said, I expect I will be back, unless I find another viable option.

Dr. Tarjan and her staff are absolutely incredible. My wife used to hate going to the dentist and avoid it all costs but not anymore! She actually gets excited to go in and sit in the comfy chairs, relax with the ceiling-mounted televisions (and headphones) and watch some HGTV during her appointments. Beyond all that, the staff is very attentive and actually listens to what you're saying to. She had thought she might have some cavities and explained the pain to her hygienist, Abby, who took note of everything and made sure that Dr. Tarjan explored the problem areas. Turns out that some fillings were too close together and it was making it hard for her to floss! She ground it down and smoothed out the issues and I'm confident that her mouth pain problems are over. I tell all my friends and family - this is a dental practice you can trust! My wife finally made me an appointment and I'll be getting my first exam in a few weeks.

I have suffered from painful/unsightly cold sores for as long as I can remember. Dr. Tarjan and her staff are extremely caring and understanding to their patient’s needs. I called on a day I thought the office was open to opt for the cold sore laser treatment. Turns out the office was closed, but Dr. Tarjan, out of the goodness of her sweet little heart had me come on in any way to perform the treatment. Dr. Tarjan took great care in making sure I was comfortable while she performed the treatment, stopping now and then to ask me if I was doing alright. The laser sounds like a scary thing, but honestly I felt nothing and was wondering if anything was being performed at all! Not only did I feel immediate relief, it also cut the healing time down to half of what it usually is if not more! I have made Icon Dental my go to for cold sore treatment and relief, anytime I feel a little beasty start to tingle, I immediately call Icon Dental and schedule an appointment. Dr. Tarjan and her staff are professional and personable. I've not come across a dentist that goes so far out of the way to make their patients feel like they are the top priority. I highly recommend Icon Dental for all your dental/cold sore needs. It’s amazing how a kind gesture or gentle disposition can make you feel so comfortable, relaxed, and highly valued. This was by far the BEST experience I have ever had at a dental office. Right from the beginning I was greeted by the receptionist who was extremely kind and offered me refreshments. The check-in process on an iPad was quick and efficient. I had to wait about 2 minutes after checking in to see the most wonderful hygienist on the planet, Jesse. Right off the bat I was offered to either listen to music or watch TV...with headphones!! I opted to watch TV, laid back, and let her do her work. Unfortunately for me, I have gum disease and a cavity, but Jesse was extremely knowledgeable, non-judgmental, and explained everything perfectly. I cannot stress enough how amazing the cleaning was. I did not feel a single thing. I was actually disappointed when she was done as I could have laid there all day and would much rather be there than at work!!! When she was through, Dr. Tarjan came in to greet me and reiterate what Jesse had explained. Dr. Tarjan is perhaps one of the most kind and warm person I have met. Since I was just there for an exam and cleaning, I did not get to have my cavity taken care of, as I had to go back to work, however I will update this review after Dr. Tarjan works on me. I literally cannot wait to go back!!!!! I never thought in a million years I would ever feel this way about a dental practice, but this place is absolutely phenomenal!!!!
