I would give 1000 stars if that was an option. I took my husband in today with excruciating mouth pain. They were so caring and helpful. They unfortunately had to pull 2 teeth, but throughout the entire process they tried to keep him calm and as comfortable as possible. I cannot get over how nice they were. The office was very clean/sterile. Very reasonably priced (and takes CareCredit). While I never hope to be in a situation like that again, or want anyone to be in need of emergency services, but if the time arises this is hands down the best place to go!! I am so pleased with our experience there!!

I am a retired state worker from Albany, NY. Due to that fact, my dental indies is not accepted by many down here. I needed a tooth extraction and had gone to two other dentists to get the work done. My insurance would not cover the cost. Finally, I talked to my insurance carrier and she suggested going to Columbia Emergency Dental Care. Now having a dentist that you can just walk into sounded a bit shady to me. I expected a dirty, dark office with very old looking equipment and office staff that I couldn’t understand. Boy was I wrong!!! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm receptionist named Tiffany. I had already done my homework and called ahead to ask about pricing and such but Tiffany was awesome and explained everything before I even asked and she spoke clearly. The waiting room was comfortable and clean. This one step into the office made me so comfortable and at ease. I explained that I was going to send a claim to my dental insurance after and she was so helpful in explaining what she will give me at the end to sent to my insurance company. I was so happy and at ease by now that I wasn’t worried about my extraction. But, Dr. Yehdego was so much more than I expected too!!!! His chair side manner was nothing less than awesome and Crystal his assistant was just as great!! Overall, a 10 or a hundred percent doesn’t seem like enough for this team. Dentists are right there with lawyers I think, as to the worse people to want to go see but I would and will be seeing them again and tell everyone what an awesome experience I had!!

My significant other was in Greenwood with no emergency dental option on Saturday, June 25th. We drove 1.5 hours to get to the office but received the best dental care we have ever had. He was in excruciating pain due to an infected wisdom tooth. I was extremely impressed with the office staff. All individuals made us feel welcome and important. The dental assistants (one of whom had just started!) repeatedly explained every action they took, and they showed us the numbing medicine as they were drawing it up. The dentist who extracted the tooth gave us great care and ensured we understood what follow-up actions to take. They made sure to ask if I was interested in sitting with him while he was in the operating chair, and made sure I was involved in his care. If we could, both of us agreed we'd use this office for all of our dental needs and not just emergency care!

Got a same day emergency appointment to get two wisdom teeth removed. They were incredible from start to finish. I explained my fear of dentist to Dr. Bowman and he listened to me and was extremely compassionate. When the numbing process began I was scared and shaking and his assistant was so sweet and held my hand reassuring me that everything was okay (cue the happy tears 🥰) After getting numbed they began their work and were successful! I was comfortable and cared for every step of the way! I can't express how grateful I am for the entire team there including financials! Thank you all so much!

This is by far the best emergency dental office I've been to. The receptionist Jennifer was very welcoming and knowledgeable when it came to the fiance. The dentist and dental hygienist were very gentle when it came to the procedure. I left the office feeling very relieved, I would recommend this office to everyone.. Thanks Jasmin

I had to get a wisdom tooth extracted in as soon as possible, I called to see when I could be seen Ciara was very professional and informative. When she told me that I could be seen within hours of the call I immediately felt a weight off my shoulders! No more pain!! Very fast, friendly, professional environment 10/10 highly recommend!

They were absolutely swamped, low on staff, and still managed to raise the bar on patient care. Dr. Boggs was great, making sure all options were explored and explained, along with future planning and cost. My tech Ciera was kind and calming, and a gem for coming in to be so good to me on her off day. I don’t want to place one person above another, but I need to make special mention of Mrs. Tiffany. She was sweet, efficient, and cool as a cucumber when some slag of a woman was screaming at her over the wait time. Gesturing to myself and a sweet-as-pie older lady in the waiting room, suggesting waiting with us was beneath her. It seemed the only things beneath Slagatha was common courtesy and understanding. All in all, in the awful event of a dental emergency these folks are the ones to call. Thanks so much.

I had the unpleasant experince of breaking a molar Friday afternoon around 5 pm, by 8:45 pm I walked out of the dentist office a satisfied customer, abbeit minus one broken tooth. From the time I opened the door, walked in, until the time I walked out, I was made to feel completely at ease by the professional staff, All of them were great. The tooth was broken beyond repair and had to be extracted. Not my favorite Friday afternoon activity! The only part of the process that I felt was Dr. Bowman tugging on the tooth. No pain at all. After the numbness wore off, it was somewhat uncomfortable, but not unexpectedly so. Should this happen to you, don't hesitate to use these guys. Excellent care!

I didnt even call in before going, so i was a true walk in, after 5 mins of paperwork, i was in a chair 5 minutes later being xrayed, the visit and xray was $95. They then explained rhe cost in which i agreed to bc of the pain i was in and the Saturday accessibility. While i think the cost really high, it is an emergency dental office. But the total of $480 for a tooth extraction is insane. Anyways back to the visit, the assistant ans Dr. Solinger made me feel at ease and confident bc of his confidence and experience. After some local anesthesia he had the extraction done within another 5 minutes make less than 45 from walk in to walk out. The receptionist was super nice and the entire visit and process was flawless especially considering my phobia of dentistry. If they would reduce their cost to a little above standard then it wouldnt seem like price gouging those in need or in pain with no other options. With that said I get it, the hours of operation and open 7 days a week is Amazing, so yes, fees above industry standard should be expected but not double or triple. Other than that one of the best experiences ive had.

She helped me get an appointment for my daughter with a pediatric dentist for a cavity complication and I seriously could hug her for being so patient and knowledgeable. Updated Review - I was seen here two years ago for an emergency, and I was seen again yesterday. I am still absolutely thrilled with this dentist office. I had a broken tooth that became infected. When I called, the office worker gave me all necessary information. I knew about the costs and the fact that they are out-of-network for most insurance plans. They told me to come in any time. All of the staff in the office was courteous and kind. They behaved professionally and worked quickly. I was in and out in less than an hour. The doctor made sure that the procedure was pain-free, and I was able to relax after 24 hours of tooth pain. They also took x-rays of some cavities so that if I decide to go to them to get them filled, it will save me time and money in the future. As before, I am completely satisfied with the medical care that I received and with the staff. I drove an hour to get to them and would do it again. -- I was treated for an abscessed tooth with antibiotics and pain medication in the ER on a Friday night. The pain and swelling increased all night. The next morning I called five different dentists and they were there only ones who could get me in on a Saturday. I waited for 2 1/2 hours to be seen, which is understandable given COVID protocols. They quickly determined that they could extract the tooth, gave me a worst-case-scenario cost, and numbed me up. They made sure I was comfortable the whole time. They got my tooth out with no pain and did another x-ray to ensure they got it all. The final cost was less than half of what they estimated, but it would have been worth the full cost. I'm sitting in bed, comfortable, needing only ibuprofen to manage the soreness. This was a great experience. Thank you!

The service was really nice. The doctor was really quick on pulling my tooth out. It took him like 5 minutes to pull the tooth out but close to 25 minutes for the whole process(probably less that that). Nothing painful about it not even the numbing injection hurt that bad. My mouth is healing beautifully and there is still no pain and the pain that was there before because of the tooth, that pain is also gone too. The staff is amazing, they really help my nerves by talking to me.

I scheduled an appointment with this dental office due to excruciating pain. My appointment was July 4, 2022 and I was greeted by the women at the front desk. They were kind and helpful. Dr. Boggs and his assistant Ciara were phenomenal! They were caring and made me feel comfortable. I went in for a extraction that took 5 mins; Dr. Boggs and Ciara talked to me through the entire procedure, which I liked. The only negative thing I have to say about this dental office is they don’t except insurance. I paid just about $500 to have one tooth extracted. I really wish they would change that. But overall my experience was great! Dr. Boggs and Ciara are the best!

First let me say my consultation was amazing with this office. The ladies upfront were the sweetest people, but the work done on my mouth, I'm not so happy about. When the dentist pulled my tooth, it wasn't so bad but when he did the fill in on my left tooth it was and still is the worst pain I've experienced. I was very upset when I told you guys I felt that sharpness when he was working on my mouth and you tell me its not the pain its the coldness of the water or pressure. It was pain. Now it hurts to eat or drink. I just found out that its infected. Now I have to eat on the side that my tooth was pulled and that hurts. Just some advice, when a person says that their in pain, believe them. I have a phobia when it comes to dentists. Like I said everyone was sweet as pie, but I can't come back. Much Love

I had some tenderness & sensitivity over the gum area after having my temporary crowns. It was uncomfortable painful and I was worried so I found this practice. The whole staff is really great. Special shout out to Miss Jennifer & April who helped us really great. Miss April is thorough and patient. Dr Bishop is extremely knowledgeable & caring nice doctor. I’m so glad I found them and especially on weekend. Their charges were reasonable and they are not after money at all. The facilities are simple but the quality of care is awesome. God Bless them all.

Omg y’all… This facility is amazing. I cracked my tooth flossing last night and I called this morning and they told me to come in. I have had the worst past dental experiences. THE WORST!!! So I was dreading coming in, but, I knew I had to. But Dr. Aman was unlike any other dentist I have ever went to! First the dental Assistant was amazing preparing me. Then when the Dr. Came in to numb me I was crying instantly but they both reassured me I was in good hands. I was getting my front tooth fixed and it was PAINLESS! The way he stuck the needle in my gums was sooooooo painless. I have never experienced that. NEVER. While they were working over me they BOTH were constantly wiping the water from my face. They were not having pointless conversations over my head, they weren’t making snide remarks about my mouth, THERE WAS NO JUDGEMENT. They treated me with respect and kindness. That’s rare to see in business nowadays. I am sitting in the parking lot right now writing this review. That’s how amazing they were. I have my own dentist at the moment… but my upcoming appointments I’m considering having some of the work done here. I need 2 crowns and am doing implants… but I think I’ll do my crowns here. They are amazing. I will recommend them to my friends in town and out of town. Everyone who works in the office is kind and professional. And we all know that’s rare in 2022

The dentist was exceptional he saved me hundreds of dollars and was so kind to me when I was nervous and crying. He took care of me and pulled three teeth without a blink. I have had no issue with the healing and the nurse who helped him was so sweet and generous with her time and kindness. I cannot Thank the receptionist enough for her kindness either. Had an awesome experience here today. Went in when they opened at 2 as a new patient walk in and was in and out in only 2 hours.I had a tooth extraction and was very nervous. And they were busy! Front desk was friendly and helpful, doctor was quick and efficient, and Krystal who did all of my prep work and kept me sane was the best! They explained everything in a way I could understand and were all very helpful in getting me to a point where I felt good about what I wanted to do. I would 10/10 recommend especially if you’re in pain and need some immediate help.

I went in on a Sunday around 3:30 PM for an emergency extraction. They were quite busy and it was a long wait, which was hard for me because of my anxiety. However, once I was called back the process was quick and simple. The dental assistants and the dentist were very kind and did not make me feel embarrassed or ashamed. An extraction is never an enjoyable experience but they made me as comfortable as possible and talked me through my anxiety. After I had the tooth extracted and went to pay I became faint, I think due to adrenaline. The assistants were extremely professional and got me water and told me to take as long as I needed. I would recommend this office to any one, especially someone with an urgent dental issue. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness.

I highly recommend this dental practice. I had an emergency dental issue on the weekend and was able to walk in with no appointment and was seen quickly. The dentist and staff were very kind and caring, making sure I was comfortable and did not experience pain during the procedure. I was here on a Saturday 9 AM asking for tooth extraction. I was in so much pain and not been able to sleep the night before. Staff was friendly and fast. Signed few papers and was on the bed right after. Surgical extraction was needed to be done (Broken tooth on the gum line) very bad , I DID NOT FEEL A THING!!! I'm still in shocked of how good that went, and very affordable!!! 10 AM I was leaving the building with no pain. Went home and followed the instructions and everything went fine. Guys omggggg this place is amazing. Kourtney and Cierra made me feel at home. I don't like going to see any dentist...Child hood phobia .....however they really handled me with care. They have an online check in process and most dental insurance is accepted. They accept state health dental plan. Long wait on a Saturday (day after Valentine's day), but the staff was very friendly and did not give false expectations about the length of the wait. They even advised us to eat lunch and come back without losing our place in line. They called me when it was time to come back and be seen. When I was called in to be seen the staff said it was unusually busy that day. The dentist was very knowledgeable and helped resolve my issue quickly. Thank you for having convenient hours that fit a working mom's schedule. I will be back if I cannot get an appointment with my regular dentist.

I don’t have the words for how great this visit went for me! It was my first visit today and everyone was super nice. I was well taken care off. Took me about 6 minutes to get called back as I came in with the paper work already done so make sure you do all that before you come. Dr. Rob was cool and very professional and honest! I didn’t originally plan to get my wisdom tooth pulled but I ended up getting it done and i was in and out in about an hour with everything I needed. Even without insurance the pricing is good to me so I plan to be back.

I was apprehensive about going to a dentist due to a tooth infection I had on a Saturday. We get used to whom we know:I was pleasantly surprised. The front office staff were informative over the phone and explained everything clearly when I was there, even giving me an estimate before any significant work was done, which was very reasonable. The hygienist (assistant) and doctor Young were both kind, explained things clearly and did their job efficiently, showing care and professionalism. Highly recommend. I was a walk-in on a Sunday and the wait was not very long for not having an appointment. Very friendly and patient staff, seemed to genuinely care about patients. They couldn't complete the service I needed and had to refer me to an oral surgeon but they happily answered all my questions and helped me find a surgeon in network and the right fit for me.

I was in so much pain that My supervisor let me go in the break room to call dentist offices, I thought for sure I was going to have to deal with the pain for at least another week! God answered my prayers and I found City Dental! I spoke with a wonderful lady name Chrystal, who helped me get my dental insurance straight as well as got me a same day appointment with Dr Young! Dr Young and his dental assistant was very caring, compassionate, and gentle! They made sure I was pain free before they extracted the tooth and also gave me a blanket to keep warm while I was going through the procedure! I left there pain free and happy! I can’t recommend them enough, they are hands down the best in Columbia and surrounding areas!!!! 🤗😁

I had been up all night with severe jaw pain. Around 5 a.m. I started to Google emergency dental care. Every place was closed through the weekend except City Dental. I read through the reviews and and decided to give it a try. I quickly filled in my information with hopes of being contacted ASAP. I went to Facebook to read more reviews and I knew this was the place for me. I arrived at the dental clinic and was quickly given health history papers to fill out, and was called to the exam room within 15 minutes. EVERYONE at this location was VERY polite and showed concern. After seeing 4 dentists prior to this visit, this particular visit gave me the relief I needed!! The pricing was a lot less than I expected being I was paying out of pocket. I would totally recommend City Dental to ANYONE. This is truly a wonderful place with an amazing staff. I walked in at 9 and was leaving around 9:40, pain free!

Overall three stars due to customer service and dental assistants. I want to give five stars to Joseph Boggs, DMD. I definitely recommend him, he is absolutely professional. He apologized on behalf of those whom made my visit horrible. The dental assistant was quick to be defensive and aggressive. Very unprofessional does not know the importance of communication, explanation and empathy. I was given an injection (for numbing) then left for an hour and not once was I asked if I was ok. I was not treated with the same courtesy as other patients. I’m an LVN and the patient care was very alarming and poor. 4/5/21 4:30 pm Update: Gave them benefit of the doubt and took a chance called the “owner” although no direct number was given. Called and left a message. I haven’t received a call back. I was hoping it wasn’t a pretend “I care speech”. I’ve seen/worked my share of clinics/hospitals “caring to know patient experience” turns out to be a facade. I do wish them the best.

I broke a tooth over July 4th and was in desperate need of an extraction. The folks at City Dental Urgent Care were fantastic. I’ve had horrible experiences with dentists in the past and the staff and doctor were so very kind, patient, and understanding. It was incredibly affordable, and I was in and out within 2 hours. I will absolutely be going here for my future dental needs. Edit: I’ve been back to this facility several times due to only being in the area a short time and I seriously can’t recommend it enough. OMG!!! I love city dental urgent care. The staff and the doctor is very nice, friendly, and gentle. Usually people don’t leave a dentist office happy or smiling but I was in tears of joy today. This dentist work with you not against you and satisfy your needs. I have been in pain 4 weeks and I have been searching for a dentists who will pull my teeth at a reasonable cost, And let me tell you I have multiple bad teeth in my mouth thanks to candy and junk food and not taking dental hygiene seriously but who does, these days oral care is very expensive especially when you wait until your teeth is rotten and broken off. But guess what when I walked into this off and did my exam and they gave my Hope to get the 2 teeth out that was bothering me the most. They explained everything thing to me step by step. And they didn’t turn me down or refer me to someone else without helping me or doing something about my issues. True they put you in pain just to take you out of pain but they did it so gently I didn’t feel anything other than the little pinch to numb the area. I greatly appreciate doctor John Durant and his staff for everything they have done for me today it was a wonderful experience, Thank you again!!!!!

I came into this facility Saturday morning with excruciating pain. I had seen many dentist who would not do anything because of Covid - 19. I'm pregnant i couldn't eat or sleep for 2 days. I spent 3 days of my life with the worst pain calling countless dentist offices and getting pushed away or getting appointments for weeks later. Later down the line of dentist on google i found City Dental Urgent Care they were still seeing patients . It was such a relief. I counted down the hours of traveling over an hour to this establishment for help. I was greeted from a very nice women at the front counter. I didn't wait that long to be brought back and seen . I was then greeted by a very wonderful women named Shawyna. She was very nice and made be feel very comfortable . A couple minutes later i was greeted by Dr. Durant and wow were they such a great team together. I never had a better dentist experience in my lifetime. What a wonderful doctor and assistant. I couldn't thank them enough and show them as much appreciating as they deserve. I had an amazing experience that i cant even show my gratitude enough. Dr. Durant was very concerned about my pain level and being pregnant. This was the first time i had a tooth pulled, and i was very nervous. Dr. Durant and Shawyna talked to me the whole time making the process easier. He got my tooth completely out and stitched up in no time. They were my angels and i really can't thank them enough. When i was leaving and had to pay the lady processing my payment was friendly making sure i was alright . This place has such wonderful employees. I highly recommend City Dental Urgent Care! Thank you all for all you did for me and how you treated me. Update on my tooth, was pain free that day my tooth was pulled. Never experience bruising or swelling. It's Sunday and my husband is complaining about his teeth and jaw. I am thinking there is no dentist office open. Surprise! I find out that there is an awesome dentist that is open on Sunday and extended hours during the week. The staff are great and very informative. I am so thankful for this place. After xrays and working with my husband it was decided that we needed to follow up with his regular dentist and doctor for a different issue that was affecting my husband in more than one way. It isnfantastic that there is a doctor who listens to the patient, does a thorough exam and does not try to take you for money. I highly recommend this practice, doctor and staff.

This place was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I went in for an erupted wisdom tooth that was hurting my entire jaw and they saw me instantly after I handed in my clipboard. I was doubtful that a place could have this many five star reviews but now I understand why. They won't judge you, give you the costs upfront, and are the fastest with dental treatment I've ever seen. Last time I got a wisdom tooth removed in a similar surgery it costed twice as much and took upwards of two hours. This time, 15 minutes in and outand on a Saturday, too! I cant praise this place enough.

I had a severe toothache over the weekend and first of all City Dental Urgent Care was the only one that was open on a Saturday. I drove 50 mins and they got me right in with no problems. Gave me two options on how to fix the problem and while it would have been super easy to just pull the tooth they actually showed concern over me keeping it and just getting me out of pain. Sunday the pain was WAY worse. I ended up going to a different place in Charlotte because they actually had offered the help that I needed BUT they were no help so I contacted City Dental Urgent care and once again they came to my rescue. I walked in after riding almost a hour and thirty min from Charlotte to their office and from being in pain I had puked all over myself and the dentist stopped what he was doing ASAP and came and numbed me right away to take care of the pain AND then he finished up with the patients ahead of me so he could take the time to help figure out what my next step was. This place went above and beyond and I thank them for that. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE I come across.

I severely chipped my front tooth late Saturday night. On Monday, had a National trade show and needed this dental work completed before I flew out of town. Went in today for the first time because of a filling that had fallen out a couple weeks ago I had received from a dentist from Hell at some other practice. I truly thought I was going to lose the tooth BUT thanks to Dr. Phan and Misty my tooth was saved. For so many other reasons this was the BEST dental experience I have ever had I mean the shot of novicaine did NOT even hurt!! They were extremely kind along with the entire rest of the staff. I have an appointment Monday to have a full exam done so we can make a plan thats best for me! This dental clinic is the only one I will ever recommend anyone going to!! I was coming back from vacation in severe pain. Found this office on google and I had called my dentist emergency line 3 times with no answer. From Heather at the desk to Shaunah and April in the back, everyone was so awesome, patient, and kind. Turns out I had 2 abscessed teeth. Dr Rob was so wonderful. He explained everything to us and gave me all my options. We opted to have the root canals there it all went seamlessly. I would definitely recommend City Dental Urgent Care to anyone.

I am so very grateful to have found City Dental and for Dr. Young, Lauris and staff to treat me with such care and kindness as I had ever yet to encounter. I had extreme tooth pain which started on a Friday afternoon, and I knew I would have to wait until the following Friday to attend to it because school was starting and my schedule would get busy. By Sunday, I decided to Google and found they were open. I arrived around 2:30 and was in the chair within 15 minutes; my insurance had been verified and they were ready to help. I get a bit sensitive around dental work and usually cry, and I was in awe by the type of thoughtful care each staff member and Dr. provided. I was out of the door by 3:30 and am writing this one week later completely grateful and satisfied to find quality care during the days and hours that matter. I will be switching to them as my primary dentist; it speaks volumes that they would be open on hours that patients can actually get to without affecting work/school.

Well I couldn't make it this morning,so I called her back and she said no problem I will put you in for 2PM today. Well I got stuck in traffic and called again🙄 to let Crystal know I was stuck in traffic I would be late. She said that's fine I will move you to 2:30PM you just get here safe. I've read all the reviews but wasn't impressed by my recent experience. Dealing with assistants that aren't people friendly to patient's who are afraid of dentists and anything associated with pain from sensitive teeth was a zero in my book. The young assistant at the window and the Spanish speaking woman were excellent. More consoling and understanding. As for the black women with what seemed to me were impatient and aggravated go somewhere else and work. Everybody isn't the same and your attitudes were a turn off.

Dentist saw me right after they took xrays, numb the tooth and did an extract. I've had it done before other places, and this beat them all.
