I used to actually hate going to the dentist, but this is a totally different experience. Sonia is the best hygienist who puts you at ease and provides detailed information about your teeth. Dr. Khan is incredibly gentle with any procedures and very professional. I’d recommend to anyone looking for a new dentist!

I found this dentist through OpenCare, and they are covered through my insurance- MetLife dental. My appointment time was honored, the facility was comfortable and the front desk, hygienists and dentist were all nice and courteous. My mouth has never felt this clean! They did suggest a fluoride treatment that I will consider, but I didn't feel pressured into any services I don't need. They have a small parking lot too.

As someone who has had a long and intense fear of the dentist, the whole experience was great. The person at the front desk was incredibly kind, compassionate, supportive, and helpful. The tech and dentist were also fully nonjudgmental and answered any and all questions I had. Highly highly recommend!

Like some other reviewers, my initial vibe of the place was that they were trying to make as much money as possible. During my initial appointment, they found some cavities. Since they examined me, I just booked the appointment with them. The fillings went great. Very minimal pain and it was quick. The next day when my bite was wrong (too numb the day before), they got me in right away. A few months later, my permanent retainer popped out while I was flossing. I couldn’t afford to get the retainer re affixed or pay for a new one, but I had to get the sharp glue off. I called over to see how much it might be to have them take care of it and they not only said they’d do it for free but they got me in right away. I will definitely go back for my next checkup!

I haven’t been to the dentist in like 15 years. Sadly, I went here. They pulled out my wisdom tooth. No pain at all and I have bad anxiety about about going to the dentist was one of my biggest fears and hands-down. This is the best dentist ever went to. I was scared it was gonna hurt. They gave me medicine and numbed me up and I didn’t feel nothing. I highly recommend this place. They’re the best nice caring about helping you fix your teeth and setting up a plan for it.

All the employees here are great! The administrative staff is helpful and Dr. Khan and the other dental staff are very kind and very good. I had to get several fillings and the whole team helped me plan, helped ensure insurance coverage and the cost, and the actual procedure was quick and painless! Highly recommend this office.

Got all four wisdom teeth removed this last Thursday and it was a great experience! I was very anxious and everyone made me feel at ease. The assistant even gave me a stress ball and played music to soothe me. Very clear post op instructions. Recovery has been so quick. Little to no swelling or pain!

I have suffered a lot of broken and lost teeth in the last 15 years, and have been given a lot of bad advice and dental work when I was focused on finding someone I could afford versus someone who wanted to work with me. Finally taking the steps to get everything taken care of at once, and wanted to find a dentist who wouldn't judge me based on the sight of my mouth, and who didn't just see me as another patient in a chair to turn and burn to get to the next one. This was it. Care from the staff the minute I walked in the door, and constant communication about what was going on. They were patient in explaining everything to me, and gave me a full plan for what I could expect both in terms of repairs but also finances. Excited to continue working together so I have a smile that reflects how I feel inside!

3 Stars. The dentist and hygienists are very good here, but reception is truly horrendous. They will harass you via calls/emails during working hours, and if you don't confirm/respond they will remove your appointment without your consent. When discussing the matter as to why they removed the appointment, instead of just apologizing, they will send you WALLS of texts explaining why they are right and you are wrong, and they made it very clear that this is a "Me" issue. If it's that important for you to be right, then yes. I'll admit you are right, I should have responded, but you worked so hard to prove yourself right that you lost a client.

Location - Not that there aren't quite a few dentists in north land around me but finding a good dentist you can trust is hard. So when i heard great reviews from family n friends of this place i had to check it out.. love how it is right next to the highway exit and has street parking and private parking that is abundant. Service- Utmost professionalism with the friendliest service one can imagine. The xrays were hassle free (always dreaded xrays) and the cleaning was thorough. Have a good chat with the staff while you get your cleaning done (might be mostly listening while your mouths open). The doc followed with an in detail analysis about the xrays, the future dental plan n visits, n invisalign plan n procedures. Facility- All of this while going through netflix as every dental chair / office has a nice tv with netflix ready to go. And you get a choice of water or sparkling water while in that chair and you might be lucky with a flavor you like too 😉 And yes would recommend to family and friends if you were still asking.

I was so lucky to get a same day appointment with one of the doctors. As a new patient, everything was so quick and professional. The entire office was so clean and everything was very efficient. The man working at the reception desk was super helpful and nice. I felt so comfortable there because everyone wearing masks & everything was sanitized. The Team at Nk Family dental is like I have never seen before. I need some dental work done with times are hard as they are today especially without having dental Insurance you can imagine how Nerve Racking a visit can be. After calling several Dentistries in the area Nk Family Dental was the only one that had time for me to come in. From the moment I spoke with them on the phone, they were very friendly and ready to answer all my questions. I had set up an appointment to come in a hour after I called, which was great. Stepping into the establishment I was greeted by the team in the front and was seen very quickly after my arrival. I described the reason for my visit, and after getting my X-rays done, I was seen by DR Khan. Never have I ever had someone go through all the images with me the way DR Khan did. She explained everything to me from what work needed to get done and why, to making sure I had a clear understanding of my dental situation. They definitely worked with me with payment. When going over my Active treatment Plan Cathy broke everything down to me and answered all my questions. I Dislike going to dentist because I feel like they over charge those in need. That is not the case here at NK Family Dental you can truly tell that they have a passion for what they do and a passion for helping people! I have always said I would rather be in a hospital bed than a dentist chair. But after meeting DR Khan and the team I feel confident coming in for my next visit.

I recently moved to the area and was looking for a new Dentist I found NK with great reviews. I was able to get in same day for a new patient exam. I had not been to the dentist in quite sometime. From the reception, to the tech tacking X-rays, the hygienist and the doctor the staff was very welcoming. My appointment was at 3pm and I was seated by 3:05 with minimal wait time in my initial appointment and my second appointment. They are very tech savvy I completed my registrations forms on a iPad. Each room has a TV and they provide you with a remote to watch your favorite show on Netflix. Upon being seated they provide you sparkling water . Already I felt at home. I needed a deep cleaning, fillings and Invisalign treatment and was explained in detail what my insurance covered and what my portion would be. My hygienist Sonia was very gently when doing my cleaning and provided great feedback to maintain my cleaning.. I had not been to the Dentist Since the start of the pandemic. I had 2 fillings done by Dr.Yang in about 45 min. The Dentist provided feedback on how to improve my oral care and prevent cavities. I seen Dr. Khan for my Invisalign consult. I was able to start my case same day. I was explained in detail what my insurance covered. NK works with you to set up monthly payments for Invisalign treatment! Overall I was very pleased with the cleanliness of the office and how friendly and welcoming the staff is. Coming to see the dentist was such a great experience . The office is very modern looking and felt more like a spa office. I look forward to seeing you all during my monthly Invisalign checkups. THANK YOU NK

The team was able to do an emergency filling that week, and I’ve never had an issue with the tooth since, that definitely saved me time/money/stress by not having to do a full root canal. My experience at NK family Dental was wonderful, they were able to accommodate me on short notice and schedule future treatment pretty much right away. Dr. Khan and her assistant are passionate and efficient. Also Dr. Sabek is amazing with root canals, I’ve had several done in the past and this was by far, the best experience. I just got back from my first appointment and I am so happy I decided to go here. I have yet to find a dentist in Chicago who I really liked (and I have tried quite a few.) I am so happy to have finally found my dentist. From start to finish, everything about this place was wonderful. They checked me in quickly and got started with dental x-rays and taking pictures of all of my teeth right away. The photos of my teeth (which were amazing quality due to the camera they use) really allowed me to appreciate a few cavities that I have and areas of concern. The dentist reviewed them with me and discussed a plan. My hygenist was also wonderful. She was detailed and thorough without making me want to cry. I highly recommend!

I will say that everyone at NK has been so kind and nonjudgmental that the tension and anxiety dissipates once I'm actually there. I love that the time at which I’m scheduled is the time I’ll be seen. They always offer water and have very polite staff. I've gone in a few times since December after not being able to go to the dentist for 7+ years. Dr. Khan, Dr. Yang and the rest of the staff have been nothing short of wonderful every time I've come in (teeth cleaning, wisdom tooth and molar removal, fillings). The front desk does an amazing job explaining costs (with your insurance applied) for procedures, setting up future appointments, and even sending you reminders for your next appt. I’ve never enjoyed going to the dentist until now. NK Family Dental is my new personal favorite dentist in chicago. I’ve been to a few other dentists in chicago but they don’t compare. I’ve honestly been so terrified of the dentist but my best friend recommended coming here because she got her braces done with Dr. Khan. I was so happy with the hygienist Tatiana as she really took her time to clean and remove stains, I’ve never been able to feel how clean my teeth were until after I left this office. Dr Khan really went ahead and gave me a full detailed exam letting me know what needs to be done and really explained what I can do to solve these issues on my end as well. I met the two wonderful assistants Jacky & Jen during my visit. Jen took my X-Rays and really made sure I was comfortable as she took them. Jacky did my polishing portion after my cleaning and was super gentle. I’m so happy to find a dentist that I can stick with.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in 9 or 10 years and NK Family Dental was very understanding and didn’t make me feel bad about it. I was losing my insurance on Friday and it was Monday so I told them that anything I needed done, I needed it to be done immediately. I had 7 cavities and they cleaned my teeth and filled all of them in one single visit. It was $370.40 for everything in my visit with insurance. I’m very happy they could do it all in one appointment, it didn’t hurt, and they were very nice.

A fantastic experience. Dr. Khan and the staff create a wonderful environment that is very comforting. I honestly have nothing negative to say about this office. This was the first time I've been treated with such kindness and respect at a dentist's office. I came in due to severe pain which resulted in having to do a tooth extraction; they explained things very thoroughly, were incredibly patient and made it a very easy process! I already have another appointment for a proper examination set later this month and for once I can say I am looking forward to my next dentist appointment! My whole family has been seeing Dr. Khan and always have a great experience with her. Recently, I had to see her specialist Dr. Danesh for an implant procedure. I was extremely nervous to get this treatment done since I never had any major work done in my mouth. However, the doctor and his entire team made sure to keep me calm the whole time. My experience here was great! It's been a few years since I've had a cleaning and decided to try NK Family Dental since it was so highly rated and I'm very glad I did. The office was comfortable and inviting. They had a new patient special that was a great deal. I paid and will probably continue to pay out-of-pocket and their prices are very reasonable and standard to what you'll typically find elsewhere. Bonus points: they have a small parking lot! There is only a handful of spaces, but this is super helpful if you drive because parking on busy Western/Fullerton can be a challenge at times lol. The staff were all kind, knowledgeable, and answered any questions I had. The cleaning itself went very well. They have Netflix in every room and you can choose what to watch. The lady I had was very kind and thorough and gentle. As I said before, it had been a while since I got a cleaning but I didn't feel shamed for it at the end. Dr. Khan was also very nice to meet at the end of my appointment. If you have reservations about going to the dentist or not sure who to choose, I highly recommend NK Family Dental. I really appreciate how much care they took. I look forward to going back!

This dental office is wonderful. They are gentle, understanding, and they do beautiful work. It had been some time since I saw a dentist before I made an appointment here, and let’s just say I will eventually have to get a LOT of work done. Nonetheless the staff did not make me feel judged or embarrassed, and more importantly, they got to work removing all infections and making a plan for my long-term treatment. When I recently had an old implant come loose and fall out, they squeezed me right into their schedule on a Saturday and set me up with a fake tooth until the final implant is ready to be placed. Already I feel so much more confident because the false tooth does a great job of aesthetically completing my smile for the time being. They have also been amazingly understanding when my wife calls and needs to get all the details I fail to bring home. 😀 The office is beautiful and has all the cutting edge technology, including TV screens in the exam rooms. I’ve never felt more comfortable at the dentist! I’m typically pretty nervous, but their staff is so nice, accommodating, and lets me know what’s happening each step of the way. They also have Netflix playing and give you sunglasses to shield from the overhead light. This past visit, Dr. Sharfaei even helped me with a slightly chipped molar by insisting on shaving it down a bit so I was more comfortable. Fantastic experience and would definitely recommend :)

Awesome, friendly, and funny. I had a great time at the dentist? Is that a thing? Well, in this case it is. My wife booked the family for our semi annual visit, which made it my second time at NK. Personally, I thought I was going to have the typical friendly first visit as a "new patient " and then I'm just a number after that, but it was the complete opposite. From the minute we walked in to all three of us leaving, it was a very good experience. Courtney, and Tatiana were great to talk to and made my cleaning a breeze. I had a great experience for a general check up and cleaning! Dr. Khan was wonderfully attentive and made sure I was comfortable the entire way through. While there I was also able to get fillings and molds for a mouth guard which I’ve been meaning to do. I have been to a few dentists but I’m usually given a list of things I MUST do or my jaw will deteriorate. Which is true for not being able to up keep. Dr Nilofer didn’t sell me on products understood what changes I wanted for cosmetics recommended accordingly and dental issues she told me what was priority. Last highly recommended doctor asked to completely remove my front tooth which had been dead since I was a teenager, but Dr Khan pointed out I’m young and there is no need as it can saved, and sent me in for a root canal which by the way was not painful at all. Lucky enough I got my root canal done in the afternoon and had a flight the same night had a pleasant weekend and have had no discomfort what so ever.

Dr. Khan has a hand from the angels as I didn't feel a thing while she cleaned my teeth! Jackpot! I convinced my husband to check if his insurance is taken and he had his appointment recently. A lifesaver!!! My husband had been dealing with a terrible pain from his wisdom tooth. He had made an appointment at another dental place but it wasn't until Wednesday and it was only Thursday so by the time friday night Saturday morning came his pain was unbearable.
