Best dental office in the city! Everyone on staff is friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The waiting room is clean & comfortable, as are the examination rooms. I am always seen on time for appointments but never feel rushed once the appointment begins. The staff are patient, happy to answer questions thoroughly, and always ensure the patient feels at ease. I am especially grateful for Dr. Akkash, a brilliant dentist who attends to all issues with great care and expertise. He makes the patient feel relaxed and assured that they are in good hands, with a classic doctor's balance of attention, precision, and positive energy. I am tempted to develop new cavities just to have an excuse to visit this office more, but have wisely been cautioned against doing so. Regardless, I love this place and look forward to future visits!

The front desk staff is always nice and professional. They do a great job of sending reminders for your appts and rescheduling when needed. Everyone from the dentists to the dental hygienists have the skill and know-how to leave your mouth happy and healthy and I must say that of all the dentists I’ve been to the staff here seems to have the softest touch. Quick and thorough service! Dr. Patel was very friendly and accommodated my schedule to have fillings done when my partner comes in, since we do not have childcare for our infant. The receptionist did a great job explaining my out of pocket costs. Overall great office. I would highly recommend!

If i could give a thousand stars I would! I was visiting Chicago on a business trip and had a dental emergency that would have completely derailed my plans. The Dental Group of Chicago was incredible and made time for me when no one else was willing or able to. Dr. Patel was so patient and kind and the entire staff was warm and welcoming. I left with restored confidence in my smile. If I didnt live in Florida I'd have a new dentist! I cannot thank you enough.

I absolutely enjoyed my visit which means a lot because I generally do not like going to the dentist. Everybody from the receptionist to Cynthia and Olivia were wonderful. They were both very kind and patient about my sensitivity and possible irritations during my xray & cleaning. I was suffering from some of the worst tooth pain I had in many years, and being a very anxious/fearful person when it comes to the dentist- I was hoping that it was nothing too serious. Unfortunately, the situation got worse (pain was unbearable), but luckily the Dental Group of Chicago was able to fit me in the same morning I called. It was determined I needed a root canal and crown. From beginning to end, I cannot praise this staff enough for their patience, kindness and wonderful bedside manner. I literally felt zero pain, and was as comfortable as one can be at a dentist. I want to thank Karime and Dr. Patel specifically for their wonderful care of me, and the work they have done so far; they took time to explain things to me, listened to me and worked quickly and painlessly. Although the dentist still is not my favorite place to go- this place has made that experience just that much better- Thank you!

My first visit to a new dentist was wonderful! My phone calls were answered promptly and my questions answered efficiently! Scheduling was a breeze with a big thanks to Robin all the way around! Additionally Megan was my hygienist and I gave her a lot of information on what not to do and she turned it all around with expertise and knowledge! I learned more than I ever have in that time with her . Dr Akashi was warm and informative and not overzealous with treatment ! As a side note Olivia was very kind on the phone and I got to watch Netflix the whole time

Dr. Rez has been my dentist for the last three years and my experience with him has been great. I got my Invisalign treatment here and Dr. Rez worked with me to get the results I wanted. The staff is warm and friendly. Only thing that I would ask them to improve is the general wait time before they see you. Overall though - highly recommend the clinic!

I was worrying whenever I needed to see a dental hygienist every 6 months because I don't know whether my favorite hygienist is still working. One of my favorite hygienists, Megan, left early this year. A new hygienist did my last appointment in April, which was the worst cleaning I ever had. After that, I asked the office to schedule a new hygienist. Surprise, my new hygienist, Olivia, is the best. I hope Olivia keeps working in the office until I move out of this area.

Yep, I hate dentist. I fear them with a passion. However, this visit changed my prospective on the dentistry. I cracked my front tooth at 9:30am riding an electric scooter with a helmet, was traumatized & cried for 2 hours. Call a friend, who said go to Dental Group of Chicago, Inc at 1556 S Michigan. She heard, they were good! They got me same day a 1pm appt. The nicestttt....I mean the nicest, professional group of people you would ever meet. I was lucky for now, I got my tooth bonded. I'm telling you, I renamed Dr. Akkash, to Dr.DMD Smoothy! Him & Damonika were exceptional. I feel very pleased, convenient & happy with my outcome. Nope, no more scooters! Made a follow-up appt. This is my new dental office.

Both the assistant and Dr Resnikov were attentive and reassuring. The procedure was painless and the prescribed meds took care of the pain when I got home. The only problem was at checkout when the person at the desk printed out a bill that was higher than the new price that Robin quoted me after my last visit with Dr Resnikov. Hopefully, that will be resolved.

Dr. Patel and her entire office are wonderful! From the front desk to the hygienists, everyone is incredibly friendly and extremely proficient. My initial cleaning was done within 20 minutes, and when I came back for 2 fillings Dr. Patel had me in and out in less than an hour. The office is very nice and they have smart tv’s on the wall in the rooms AND on the ceiling! You can watch a Netflix movie while getting your teeth cleaned! I’ve never seen that before! It was touch and go with the scheduling initially, because ai chose December to get my dental work done. The staff was extremely professional. When ai got my root canal I changed dentist he was professional. I did not feel a thing. I just got my front crown replaced. Dr Patel was so confident she could build me a better crown, I don’t even have my final set and the replacement bridge was better than the one exchanged. I recommend this clinic.🙂🙂🙂😃😃😃

I had a really good experience being treated by a dentist that is no longer employed there. I do not like the dentist that works with me now. I started my invisalign with the old dentist. The new guy doesn't have a good bedside manner. I've been waiting for my revision trays for two months and have been wearing my last set of trays since August.

From the staff (who are friendly and welcoming), to the dental surgeon, (Dr. Yazan Akkash), to the hygienist. My experience at this facility was top notch. I had chosen to get my Wisdom tooth extraction here, out of desperation. Despite my insurance only covering half of the cost of the service, the procedure went smoothly— thanks to the professionalism and proficiency of Dr. Akkash. They answered all of my questions before my procedure. Plus, did whatever they could to make me feel comfortable. I wish my insurance would cover the costs of extractions and deep cleanings. But it was worth every penny (for the out of pocket co-payment).

Very pleasant experience…for a dentist. I haven’t been to a dentist since just before the start of the pandemic. The staff here was remarkably on top of things. The receptionist were friendly, and the dental assistant was very efficient and kind. I was super excited to get my teeth cleaned by an RDH. My old dentist used to do it and I’m not sure dentists should be doing that. Dr. Patel was great. She took her time with me and answered all of the my questions.

Let me just say , the staff in here is impeccable!!!!! My wisdom tooth had a whole and was loose and needed to be pulled out. Daisha made me feel sooooooo comfortable to the point I felt like I’ve been going there my whole life! My first time here and had a great experience! I was able to get my cleaning started right after I walked in. The assistant hygienist and hygienist were SO gentle. I usually am in a lot of pain and that wasn’t the case this time. Dr. Tsiao was very thorough and knowledgeable about some larger procedures I was curious about having done. Plus, they have parking in the back! This is where I’ll be coming from now on.

Specifically, explaining what they’re doing and the tools they are using. Plus I get to watch tv and bring in my headphones to help with the anxiety.

Front desk staff was pleasant and professional, very helpful! Was able to complete my paperwork electronically for limited contact due to Covid-19. Easy to get to, walker friendly but was informed there is limited parking available building adjacent also. My hygienist was nice, patient in answering my questions and provided me with great information. My dentist was awesome, thorough, didn't feel like I was being rushed - definitely feel like I received superior service in comparison to other local providers and will be returning!

Dental group of Chicago were very professional with upfront pricing and I loved they had a $99 1st time special. They told me exactly what I needed and now I’m going here for all my dental needs. The membership for $200 a year for 2 dental visits and 20% discount is a good deal if you don’t have insurance.

As usual, I had a great experience today: professionalism, caring attitude, fast service, cleanliness, good price. Thank you. In the past I gave this five star review because I was very happy with this office where I have been going for several years for some implants and for regular cleanings. But now I have to change my rating because I haven't been happy the last 3 times I went. The cleanings seem to get shorter and less thorough every time. No more ultrasound cleaning, no more visual cancer screening and no measuring of gum pockets, and (this last time) even no more flossing. The total time in the office is still the same, though, because there is more waiting. This last time I waited in the treatment room for the hygienist who did her cleaning very fast and then left. Then, after a wait, another associate came and did just the polishing. Then some more waiting for the doctor (a new one I had never seen before) who was very nice, but couldn't help with the chip that had detached from one of my crowns and that I had brought in a small plastic bag, because the first hygienist had taken it and then lost. Probably the chip couldn't be glued anyway, but we'll never know now. The doctor apologized, but the hygienist didn't.

I needed a half yearly exam/cleaning done. I picked this place because it had very good reviews; and I must say that it lived up to it. I was greeted nicely and was taken in right on time. After the initial X-ray, Cynthia took over for cleaning. She was kind, patient, and very thorough with the cleaning. I had a lot build up and I could feel how much effort she was putting in to cleaning. None of the dentists I’ve visited were this thorough. My teeth and mouth feels great. Thank you Cynthia! What a great experience! The staff accommodated my daughter without delay and worked us in in a timely fashion despite what seemed to be a heavily booked schedule. (though not an emergency, I described my concern and the receptionist understood the urgency) Extremely professional and friendly, this is easily the most comfortable dentist's office I've ever visited and that I believe, is hard to find in a medicaid provider. Dr Irene and her assistant, Beatrice were everything you'd want pediatric care to be: patient, kind and gentle. From booking the appointment to the care received, I was extremely pleased. I will recommend this office to friends and encourage new patients to make the trip downtown. Definitely worth it!

The staff are all fantastic! Friendly, accommodating, and professional. However the team is also so personable, welcoming and I always feel comfortable. Besides the people, the designated parking spots and complimentary water or coffee are a nice touch. The evening and weekend hours for appointments are also appreciated for working professionals. Lastly, having the TV on wall and ceiling are nice for making the appointment go quicker and provide the distraction while having any work done. Netflix and drill helped with my procedure today. Hands down the best dental care I've ever received! I went in for sudden onset of tooth pain. My pain started on a Sunday and they got me in on Tuesday. The dental assistant was super friendly and helpful. I was very nervous when I went in to my appointment, and she made me feel very calm and eased my nerves with pleasant conversation. The dentist, Dr. Rossi, did an excellent job of explaining what was wrong and continually checked in with me during the procedure to make sure I was doing ok. Both the assistant and the dentist had a great sense of humor and that helped make the 2 hour procedure seem very quick and painless! The best part is I'm no longer in pain thanks to them! The office staff was also incredible - they did a fantastic job explaining the cost breakdown of the procedure and they were very helpful!

Phenomenal to say the least. I have never had such a wonderful experience at the dentist office. By the end of my appointment I was not ready to leave b/c I had such a great time. Let me begin by providing a review of the office – for me anytime I visit a dentist or doctors office cleanliness and upkeep are the first things I look for. Needless to say – this office was modern and clean. The waiting area was organized and felt very modern. The team working the registration desk welcomes you with a smile and a kind voice – great first impression. Furthermore, they offered 2 different options for checking in – digital or paper. I was not rushed to complete the forms and by the time I completed my registration forms, I was being escorted back to get down to business. I first met with the hygienist Cynthia – she was phenomenal. She was very knowledgeable and easy to talk too, not to mention she had my teeth glistening white while keeping me entertained. Part 2 of my visit was even better, I had the pleasure of working with the Dental Assistant Tasha and Dr.Rossi , Tasha made me feel right at home with her amazing personality and great conversation – she definitely created an environment where I felt at ease about the procedure about to take pace. Dr.Rossi was just as amazing, he was extremely personable, easy to talk to, and provided great step by step instructions regarding what the procedure would be like. Moreover, the actual procedure was flawless – I never felt an ounce of pain or discomfort. So much so, at times I forgot I was actually having work done. The entire staff was great and I’m glad that I have found a new dental home with the Dental Group of Chicago. I highly recommend their services.

Today was my 1st visit and I was more than pleased. Due to a broken tooth, I was able to get an appointment in 24 hrs. Everyone was friendly and respectful. Dr. Adam explained everything and ensured I was comfortable. Dental associates and office staff put me at ease immediately upon arriving. I love my dentist office. Have been with them for years. As a young adult who moves every few years, this is a pretty big deal. My teeth are healthy so I mostly only visit 2x a year for cleanings and checkups. They remember who I am, and ask me how I’m doing — details I mentioned 6+ months ago! There are two TVs in each room, one for each position the chair is in, which is a nice touch. My hygienist for the longest time was Liz and I love her! This most recent visit I got Cynthia and she told me Liz no longer worked there. I was sad but Cynthia is awesome too — she was super thorough and went through the trouble of explaining everything she was doing. I learned a lot!

Everyone from the front desk staff to the dental hygienists to the dentists are friendly and knowledgeable. They do text reminders for appointments and have evening appointments which have been incredibly helpful. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a great dental clinic!

I have been a patient since the beginning of this dental practice. My first experience with the Dental Group of Chicago I was in extreme pain and after contacting several other dentists, who told me that they could not fit me in for several days, I call them. Robyn answered the phone and was very understanding. She asked how fast I could get there. I lived very close at that time and was there in five minutes. I was immediately taken to a room and while I was waiting a woman came in and introduced herself as Robyn and wanted to take the time to meet me. She is in charge of the front office and not a dentist. I sat there thinking “what kind of business in today’s world does this...actually cares about their customers enough to come say hello?” Well this one does. I am an extreme baby when it comes to my teeth and tooth pain and the entire staff is increably accommodating and caring. I have had an extensive amount of work done there and even now living twenty miles away still return as they are the only dental practice I trust plus they let me control the “sucker” during procedures. I can’t say enough positive things about this practice and recommend no other!

It would be fair to say that I am not the biggest fan of dental visits. Perhaps this is attributed to the extensive amount of work I had done as a child and bad experiences. After much hesitation I finally decided to gather up my courage and go get a much needed cleaning. I was a little nervous as I was walking to the door and even considered running to the car, but as I walked into the office I was immediately greeted with a smile. The check in process was very easy and my appointment was kept on time. I then met with the Dental Hygienist Liz who was very nice and knowledgeable. I have always hated taking X-rays because of how uncomfortable they are, but they were required since I was a new patient. I was pleasently surprised how comfortable the process was. I explained to her that it had been sometime since my last cleaning and to not be shocked at my dental neglect. She assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that I was in good hands. She was not kidding, I have never in my life felt so comfortable. I didn't know cleanings didn't have to be so painful. For years I have dreaded cleanings and I could not believe that I could finally put those days behind me. My mouth has never felt so clean and my teeth have never looked so shiny. I am happy to report that I have set up my next cleaning and I cannot wait. I am so thankful to the wonderful staff at DGC for making me feel comfortable for the first time ever in a dental office. Excellent dental office! Very easy to make an appointment, very friendly and accommodating staff. Special thanks my hygienist Marisa. She was extremely careful and gentle explaining everything she did and making sure I knew if there was a little discomfort coming while trying to minimize it. I had a toothache and called SLDental Group. Dr. Burnett and the staff were able to schedule me for just 30 minutes later. Not only that, they were able to perform a pretty complicated procedure - a full root canal In the same visit. Because of Covid19, they took extra precautions with lots of PPE, no waiting room, you went in and straight to a patient room. I saw them constantly changing gloves, washing hands etc., which I greatly appreciated. Dr. Burnett was very friendly and I believe the hygienist was Gabriella. She was kind as well. As someone who is terrified of dental work, I can honestly say that Dr. Reznikov has made my last two years bearable. He is sure to walk me through each process and work with me to find the best solutions for my teeth. Since I was a child, I have had trouble with my teeth due to steroidal needs as a baby. This means my dental history is rather robust. Although the solutions aren't always easy they are always well thought out. Amazing experience and awesome staff!! Soooo glad I found Dental Group of Chicago when I was searching for a new dentist and exploring dental implants as an option for a very old failing bridge. The positive reviews swayed me to check them out…..best thing I could have ever done. My first visit was to meet them and deal with severe pain around a post tooth securing my old bridge. The office manager Robin fit me in with a new patient appointment the next day cause she could tell I was in so much pain when I called. Both Robin and Renee are the best and they do an amazing job of making every patient feel comfortable and special. Dr Reznikov dealt with my pain issue on day 1 and discussed the process for me to consider if I went with implants. He suggested practical implant solutions that I was comfortable with at my age and financially. I had spoken to several other dental offices about implants and could tell it was all about the money for them and they didn’t seem very accommodating otherwise. I never once felt this way with the team at Dental Group of Chicago. You can tell they are passionate about what they do and really try to work with you as a patient. Well I decided on dental implants in Dec 2016 and had the procedure done mid-Jan 2017. I was very nervous BUT let me just say THIS TEAM IS DOUBLE AMAZING! Dr Reznikov and Dr Gromov completed my tooth extractions, bone buildup, implants and construction of my temp bridge the same day. Tasha and Sylvia made sure that I was comfortable thru-out the procedure…..they are the best and so warm and caring. Tasha draped this cool leopard print blanket over me to keep me warm and comfy. I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort! Renee sent me home with soup and a carepack that was everything I needed….including that leopard print blanket : ) Robyn even called me that night and checked on me and gave me her cell # for any reason in case I wanted to call her. You are in first class all the way with this team! The entire experience was smooth and went just as Dr Reznikov had told me. I am so pleased with the results and that I went with the dental implants. More so I am glad to have found an awesome dental team to handle all my dental care. Thank you Dr Reznikov, Dr Gromov and kudos to the entire team!!!

I cannot thank Dental Group & Dr. Reznikov enough for the work they did for me this weekend. I was in excruciating pain due to having my fillings crack exposing the nerves in two of my bottom row teeth. I couldn't eat, sleep, or see straight. I saw a previous dentist two weeks before who told me all I needed was some temporary filler for my teeth. This dentist took $150 of my money for a basic exam forced me to pay in cash and rushed me out still in excruciating pain. I called Dental Group early Saturday morning. Robyn was so polite and helpful! She got me in to see the doctor at 11am the same day. She helped me get all my paperwork completed before I got there so all I had to do was head straight back to see the doctor when I arrived no waiting or paperwork. I can't recall the name of the doctors assistant but she was very sweet, helpful, and took great care of me while Dr. Rez was busy. They set me up with Netflix to watch my favorite show while they performed my root canal and filling. They are truly the best for doing this for me on short notice. I wouldn't have been able to work on Monday had they not taken me Saturday. I cannot wait to go back to finish the rest of my work. I have always dreaded going to the dentist before but not anymore! Thanks Dr. Rez and staff you all are a true blessing. I couldn't have asked for a better service experience! If I could give them 10 stars I would. They work with great care, urgency, and integrity!

-- Review Update 07/23/19 -- Dr. Reznikov reached out to clarify the miscommunication regarding Synchrony Bank obtaining my person information. He was prompt and made sure the issue was fully understood. I was invited in to have my sore fillings addressed, hopefully they will remain insensitive. Dr. Rossi, the dental assistants, and receptionists were courteous and professional as always. I did not feel the sensitivity after their treatment, I thank them for their time and efforts. I will stand by my original review that initial follow through by administration was lacking which is why I was hesitant to return-- I hope training regarding Care Credit has been successful.

I am so happy to have finally found a dentist I am completely comfortable with in the city. From scheduling my appointment (got in very quickly), to the cleaning, to xrays - everything was quick and painless. All of the staff here is top notch. The location is very easy to get to via public transportation being right on Michigan Avenue. TVs on the ceilings of the patient rooms are a great addition to their newly updated space. Dr. Reznikov was very thorough while explaining some not so fun stuff found in my x-rays due to past tooth trauma. He asked about my dental history and told me his concerns but wanted to get the opinion of his Periodontist as soon as he could. He helped me schedule a consultation with Dr. Gromov when I was already going to be back in the office for a cavity filling, who was again very detailed at explaining what the next steps should be. Comfort and convenience is a high priority here which makes me wish I had switched dentists sooner. I really trust my smile in their hands.

Recently had an issue with a chipped tooth. Sidenote: Kids don't eat twizzler's it won't end well. SInce I don't have a dentist in Chicago I had to scramble to find someone that would help address my best impression of a 4 year old's gap toothed smile. I called this office as it was conveniently located not far from the loop. The office admin was super pleasant and understanding and scheduled me to see Dr. Alex later in the afternoon. When I arrived, the doctor promptly saw me, put on a temporary fix and scheduled me for a follow up appointment. There was no issues with insurance coverage as I had run into with a few dentist visits in the past. Couldn't be happier with the customer service from the doctor and his team, and they really helped me out when I had no where to go, they have earned me as a loyal patient.

I had always been afraid to go to the dentist and kept putting it off. Dr. Reznikov and the Karen at DGC couldn't have been better!
