After being with the same dentist for almost 8 years in Birmingham, I switched to Double Oak Mountain Family Dentistry for its location and convenience and have loved my experience. It is such a warm and inviting environment which we all know isn't always easy to accomplish when it comes to visiting the dentist. I've come to really enjoy my six month cleanings. My husband also had an emergency pop up around the holidays that required immediate attention and they saw him right away and provided him the resolution and much needed relief he needed almost on the spot. I highly recommend Double Oak Mountain Family Dentistry!

My dental hygienist, Kim, was top notch and performed a comprehensive cleaning- she was very professional and competent. The equipment was very modern. I have been a patient at Double Oak for 14 years. The care and treatment over that period of time has been exemplary. The office staff is professional, accurate, and very personal. Elisha always greets with a smile, and is always helpful with appointments. Tonya is helpful with estimates, and insurance coverage. Both always going the extra mile to assist patients. My hygienist Kim is the best hygenist I have had the pleasure to be a patient in my 67 years. Never before have my teeth been cleaned or cared for as well as by Kim. The Dentist are outstanding. They explain in detail the work necessary, the associated costs of the work, and treat patients as if they were family members. Dr. Brewer did an outstanding job on my Crown, and Dr. Jennings is in phase 1 of an implant. Both explained in detail the options and procedures required. Both did outstanding, painless, work. After 14 years, I can not imagine a better practice for dental work and dental hygiene. I am a very satisfied patient of 14 years and plan to remain so.

Very professional staff go above and beyond to help all of their patients. The front desk staff are amazing nice, courteous, and concerned about getting you the care you need. The hygienist and doctors are so respectful and kind I would recommend anyone to go to this dental office. Last dentist office I went to messed my tooth up badly and Double Oak Mountain Family Dentistry was left with fixing the issue for me they corrected the problem and my mouth haven’t given me any more issues. Dr. Brewer fashioned a replacement bridge for my top front six teeth and I call it Brewer’s Masterpiece. He and all the staff there are sweet, accommodating, and highly professional yet supremely friendly and personable. They’re technologically advanced and maintain a very clean and sanitized protocol. I moved quite a few miles away but I still go back because they’ve always taken great care of me!

After all these years, 14 years, I cannot imagine using any other dental office! I've never had one sketchy experience here. They treat all patients like family members...favorite family at that. I am terrified of going to the dentist, it's a lifelong fear...did I mention that I am really afraid of the dentist? Dr Brewer at Double Oak Mountain Family Dentistry has been our family dentist since we moved to Birmingham in 2008. He and the staff accept my fear and do very well to calm my nerves. I've never had any problems here...and I've even had to have 3 crowns. I remember the tears of fear and frustration when I had to get my first crown...Dr Brewer said, were going to get through this and everything will be just fine. I'm sending you to my own Endodontist...he'll take good care of you. We did, and it was fine...no pain. Everyone here is great and treat the patients like family. Hmm, is that why they're called "Family" Dentistry?

And being 3 days before Christmas I feared having to wait nearly 10 days to be seen at my Phoenix dentist. Double Oak Mountain has been wonderful for me and my family. The work they have done for myself and my family has been wonderful. I'm much more comfortable smiling for photos now than I used to be. They are very involved with their patients and offer advice, education, etc. The office staff are super sweet and really care about you. They always get us in to be seen in cases where we have needed a fast appointment scheduled and they're great about sending reminders for cleanings, appointments, etc. The dentists we have seen have always been great about everything - they make sure you are completely comfortable and relaxed throughout the time you are in their chair. That really means a lot to me because I have a ton of anxiety about dental appointments. Their office and equipment are very clean and tidy and they have great equipment that makes your visit go smoothly (i.e. x-ray arms that come to in your chair without you having to walk all over the place). First of all, last week when I called the staff was so welcoming and accommodating to all of my questions about becoming a new patient. They took the time to really help me navigate my way through the process. When I stopped going to my childhood dentist at around 18 years old I didn't start going to another dentist. I had some bad habits and didn't brush my teeth as I should have. At age 21 I went to Dr. Brewer at Double Oak Family Dentistry because I had a toothache. He told me that my teeth were in really bad shape and that it would take a lot of time, work, and better personal care on my part to get everything under control. So after 10 years of teeth cleanings, root canals, crowns, and prescription toothpaste my mouth is in good condition...no bridges, no implants, and only one tooth had to be pulled. I couldn't be happier with the professionalism from Dr. Brewer as well as the staff. I would recommend this dental office to anyone who was looking for a good dentist.

I was chewing on some hard candy (silly me) and happened to notice I chipped one of my back teeth late Thursday night. I sent an appointment request around 5 am and the nice ladies at the front called and asked if I could come around 1030. I came at about 10 and waited maybe 5 minutes and got back to the room for an xray. Within another 5 minutes Dr. Roe was in ready to numb me up and fill in my broken tooth. I haven’t had a filling since I was a child (I am 27 now) and I was actually scared. I seriously did not feel a thing and was all patched up and out of there within an hour. If that is not good service I don’t know what is! Thank you all for fitting me in on a Friday!! :)
