I highly recommend Yellowstone Family Dental!!! I had somewhat of an emergency with one of my fillings falling out and they were able to get me in that same day, being a new patient at all. Dental offices are not my favorite place to hang out; however, Ruth and Dr. Pearson made my experience amazing! The numbing injections are my worst nightmare but, no joke, Dr. Pearson did such a GREAT job I couldn’t even feel the needle injection or the stinging as the numbing was injected. Plus, I had zero pain at the injection sites the next day. This was the easiest filling I’ve ever had done. I’ve found my new dental office and dentist!!! Thank you Ruth and Dr. Pearson, I appreciate you working me into the schedule and getting me fixed up!

This is a good group of people. I did have to come back several times and changed from repairing to replacing with a crown. The crown does keep getting loose but Im sure when I go to see them They will get it figured out. I still rested them well as they have doe a fabulous job with my whole family Highly recommend.

I was in Billings Montana for my husband‘s job. We are from Minnesota and I had a very large feeling breakout. I looked at reviews of dentists in the area and Yellowstone family dental had the best! I can see why! They got me in within four days to do the exam which I needed a crown and I knew that ahead of time because I was going to get one when I got back to Minnesota. A few days later they had me back in there and I was able to get everything done in one appointment! Amazing Hi check equipment they have here and the dentist and all the assistance were wonderful to work with so friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this place to anyone and the biggest thing… They have an excellent insurance plan which made this crown cheaper than anyone I have ever gotten before! Thank you Yellowstone family dental! I wish I could come here all the time!

Ruby was absolutely amazing! I'm a weirdo who loves when a hygienist actually talks to you and learns about your life and we talked a lot during my cleaning! She was also very thorough. It felt like she actually took her time to make sure my teeth were super clean instead of rushing it. My dentist was also incredible! Would definitely recommend this place for your dental needs! Also when I was having a weird jaw pain a few months ago they got me in and took the time to make sure everything was OK! Amazing dentist office all around.

Staff was courteous, friendly and efficient. They explained everything that they were doing step by step and was concerned about my fear of dental procedures. The dental hygienist, Amanda, was especially gentle with me and I was very pleased with the cleaning that she accomplished-as was Dr. Sawyer Ferguson. I appreciated her thoroughness and explaining what dental procedures needed to be done. Front desk as well was very kind in setting up appointments for me that were convenient and explaining billing. I have been impressed with the attention to detail for children’s appointments. Each child leave with a prize, toothpaste, floss, a toothbrush that’s beyond the usual run-of-the-mill dentist office freebie, and a special balloon. The hygienists and dentists are friendly and cater the tv selection to the patient. My children have left the dentist excited for their next visit.

Easily the most pleasant experience I've ever had at the dentist. I had not been to the dentist in a very long time and the woman I spoke with on my initial call was very helpful in eliminating any worries and telling me about their Affordable Dental Discount Plan. My visit went even better. The staff was positive and helpful. I was seen right on time. Jessica did a great job cleaning my teeth, while holding a delightful conversation. There was a tv on the ceiling to watch but I really enjoyed the conversation more. She was professional, kind, caring, and informative. Dr. Sirounian was efficient and clear about the state of my teeth and even asked me if I had any questions, which I had never been asked at the dentist before. Great experience, felt truly cared for, and I'm still amazed at how affordable it was. Will be recommending and returning.

Walked out just a moment ago from a root canal that I was terrified to get and have never felt so comfortable and relieved. My nurse and the doctor that took care of me here did everything they could to give stellar service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my procedure went incredibly smooth. When I called at least 10 different dentist in Billings on a Friday afternoon only to discover only a couple would give me an appointment on Monday Yellowstone Family Dental was one.They also were only one accepting my recently acquired dental supplemental coverage.with humana which is marginal. I got crown completed in 2 short visits with great staff and excellent treatment. Highly recommend 👌 👍

I have extreme dental anxiety and hadn’t been to the dentist in 6-7 years. I did a ton of research before choosing Yellowstone family dentistry. I went in feeling very nervous, but walked out feeling like I had made the best choice possible. All of the staff are exceptional! They listen, they’re understanding and they love what they do. I have never had a painless tooth cleaning until today. The hygienist was amazing as was the dentist. I highly recommend their clinic. My dental anxiety is a lot lower now than it ever has been.

The ladies at the front desk were warm and welcoming and I loved the atmosphere of the facility in general. When it came time for my cleaning, Sara O was amazing! I've traveled across the country and I've been to numerous dentists Coast to Coast. Yellowstone Family Dental is definitely one of the best that I've been to. The office staff is professional and fun and still keep the waiting room immaculate while getting your paperwork done quickly and efficiently while ensuring proper insurance billing. They have state of the art equipment even for their imaging. The hygienist Heidi was the gentlest while getting the deepest clean without pain that I've ever had especially after extended time away from a dentist. She was even able to share in the same discomforts that I traditionally have even for routine cleanings and minimize to eliminate them. And Dr Pierce is pretty good for being an Ohio State fan ;0) Go Blue!

Samantha F. cleaned my teeth thoroughly and PAIN FREE (adding this in because it’s really hurt in the past and I hated it) while also engaging in some wonderful conversation. It was my first exam and perio cleaning at Yellowstone Family Dental. Beautiful, sparkling clean facility, friendly staff, excellent, thorough hygienist, and an insurance plan offered for an amazingly small price, to provide reduced prices if someone has cavities, or needs crowns or more extensive work on top of cleanings. Matt Larsen, DDS, is so friendly and knowledgeable. Listens to your concerns (I’m old and have had a dentist long ago, perform an occlusion that was detrimental); explains exactly what he sees and whether any other services might be needed. Dr. Larsen said he saw no problems on x-rays that were provided along with the exam, and I was good to go, continuing my regular perio care. With no dental insurance since 2001, and limited income (although I make dental and health a priority in my budget), I am so pleased at the prospect that if/when I need more extensive work, their inexpensive insurance plan for reduced prices will make it more manageable. And again, I couldn’t be more impressed with the thoroughness of their excellent hygienist Sarah L.

Even with the beautiful facility and the tv screens I still find our conversation and updates on life more exciting than the entertainment available. I made an appointment with Yellowstone Valley Dental because I broke a tooth and told them when I made the appointment that I just wanted it pulled (very back top tooth). When I got there, they took x-rays for the tooth and the root then gave me options for it. Again, I just wanted it pulled. I don't like going to the dentist, it terrifies me, so simply pull it and move on was my thought. By the time we established what I thought I had established when I called, that I wanted it pulled, it was too late in the appointment to get it done....so they rescheduled me....for two weeks down the road. UGH. Now I have to worry and dwell on it for another two weeks before it happens. NOT COOL. All that being said, the staff was great and the doctor was great. I just wish they would have listened to me when I made the appointment and just pulled it then, and it would all be behind me by now!

Constructive Resilience

First of all, I work in the medical field so I understand that things don't always go smooth during clinic. That being said, punctuality is important to me, as it is for nearly everyone, I'm sure. I was happy with the punctuality at YFD. They saw me on time, and I was out of there on time. Just like a visit should be. The front office staff were very pleasant. That's also something I consider important. Nothing sets the tone of a visit more than how you are treated by all of the staff. In that regards, YFD did wonderful. The waiting area is nice, large, and clean. There is a play area for children separated from the rest of the waiting area, which, is a nice touch in my opinion. Kids also have their own TV in the play area so they can watch whatever kids these days watch. The RDH, Lisa, who cleaned my teeth was great. Very professional, gentle, yet I could tell she was doing a good job. I've had RDHs in the past really go to town on my teeth/gums and it can be painful, that was not the case with Lisa. Dr. Larsen did the checkup and was very pleasant as well. Oh, I should add that the building was very clean, there was good privacy in the rooms, and overall I felt it was really up to date. So, overall how would I rate my experience? 5/5 on staff friendliness and professionalism. 5/5 on punctuality. 5/5 on cleanliness, privacy, and the overall feel of the building. As a new resident of Billings, I'm glad to have found my preferred dentist in town and I will definitely be back.

I have been with Dr. Larsen since he first bought my prior dentist's practice, and I arrived w/ only one question: would he be able to give me near-painless Novocain shots like Dr McDonald had learned to do?
