Sasha & Janis genuinely care about their students and love sharing their passion & dedication. I cannot recommend them highly enough, for not only are they highly trained dancers themselves, not only do they have one of the most beautiful dance studios, but they're great people to know and share time with learning dance! Have fun!

I think it it is not only a belly dance, more like a seduction school. Belly dance fitness classes exercise and suitable for all ages. I love the class. It is the best class I found in North Jersey. The teacher is so beautiful and friendly, that I have a sense that in no time I can start performing too. Love the class love the new way my body can move.

My kids ages, 10 and 13 have been taking ballroom classes in Ventura dance studio for a few months. They absolutely love the classes. Sasha is an excellent instructor. She cares for her students as if they were her own children. She is patient, caring and very thorough. We tried dancing in other studio, but none of the schools we tried produced results. Ventura is by far the best school around. I wound strongly recommend this school to anybody interested in learning to dance, Latin or ballroom. This school is the perfect place to learn competitive dancing.

Just took my first standard class) the teacher is amazing (I took class with Janis), we were doing waltz and I've never danced before, but he explained everything so clears, that I believe that I will be able to do it good :) and the atmosphere is wonderful, everything is so stylish and cozy.

I've just moved to Closter and my friend told me about this adorable studio!!! I took an introductory lesson with Valentin and realized that I really can dance! He's fantastic teacher! Helps me to feel music and dance! I higly recommend Ventura for everybody!!)))

Taking dance lessons and I can feel that our teacher is very passionate about her job. I have learned a lot. The studio is nice and big and since it is a new facility it is very clean as well. I am learning salsa, rhumba, and the cha cha cha. I am a newbie and never thought that I could dance, but after a lot of patience from my teacher and practice, I feel that I can dance! Give ventura dance a chance!

My 4yr old daughters take the ballet class and they love it from day one. GREAT ballet teachers, very patient with the little ones. Very flexible and friendly staff. If you are looking for a ballet class in Closter NJ then heres is a great place.

Both my wife and I were not good dancers but we wanted to practice and have a customized first dance for our wedding. From the beginning we were both very nervous but Sasha was so easy to work with and helped us to both be more comfortable and challenge one another. In addition to helping us gain confidence, she also helped to choreograph our complete dance. We went from a very basic beginning to having a beautifully choreographed dance that incorporated 3 different types of dance. Throughout the entire process Sasha was easy to work with and helped us to deliver a one of kind choreographed first dance.

Uh, they just opened, I took my first lesson with Janis Kukainis here. I enjoyed, soft floor, nice atmosphere, friendly people. I know they will renovate this ballroom studio and will have big opening party in December , can't wait to see that! Anyway, that's good studio with very professional instructors. I live in Ho-Ho-kus NJ, it takes 20 min, 8 miles. Really happy to be there.

I can not describe Ventura Dance center as anything but a shiny neighborhood gem where one can enjoy great music, beautiful interior, warm and friendly atmosphere and above all the art of dance at its highest level. I was invited to Ventura as an event photographer expecting to see just another regular dance club same as so many others in NJ. But I was immediately swept over when I stepped in to their magnificent dance hall and saw absolutely breathtaking performances of the club owners Janis and Aleksandra. They are incredibly talented and exquisite couple who have successful dance carrier with a lot of achievements and prestigious awards. After watching their classes with people of different ages and abilities I can say that Janis and Aleksandra have great teaching talent making it fun and pleasant experience. I could write a lot more good words about Ventura Dance Center, it's great team and guests but it will take too much space. Just come in, see it for yourself and trust me you will want to come again.
