Reviews of Bridge For Dance

Staff is friendly, amicable, caring, the classroom is quaint. My 7 yr old Daughter loves ballet class and looking forward to flamenco. They have benches couch and chairs for adults to wait during class if so desired.

My daughter, who is serious about dance, joined the teen company at Bridge about 2 years ago. Bridge nicely caters to a wide range of dancers in terms of both ability and interest. The girls in the Company are supportive of one another, and also push each other to achieve to the best of their ability. The teachers are fabulous and meet the student where they are, and challenge them. My daughter's private teacher, Fiona Oba, is fabulous! My daughter has strengthened her technique and grown as a dancer under Fiona's tutelage.

There are not a lot of opportunities for older dancers to dance and perform. Bridge for Dance has given me those opportunities. This is a very inclusive community. I recommend Bridge for Dance wholeheartedly.

I am a dance and aerial teacher who has taught at numerous studios throughout NY. I have subbed many classes at Bridge over the years and it is by far one of my favorites. It is a wonderful studio. The staff is incredibly talented and friendly. The kids and parents are a joy to be around and always make me feel very comfortable and welcome when I am there. No drama. They have a nice and clean facility. Their large room has a great hardwood floor and gets lots of natural light from outside. If you’re looking for a studio that encourages both hard work and a positive and loving attitude then you should definitely check them out.

Bridge for Dance is a true gem of the neighborhood. My son and daughter have both attended classes for several years and have loved the experience! The small class sizes, skilled teachers, and remote options are perfect for the current environment.

Bridge has been offering dance to kids and adults in upper Manhattan forever! Great space with solid dance offerings and good teachers. Highly recommend.

My daughter has been taking dance classes here for several years (she's now 13) and has always been excited and engaged by the teachers, whether tap, hip hop or aerial. It's been a great experience all around!

We love Bridge for Dance. Both my daughters have taken a range of dance classes - modern, ballet, aerial dance(!) - and loved them all all. It's a very laid back institution, so nice and flexible. The teachers are great. My kids love it and we have been very happy there. So glad to have them in the neighborhood!

We were lucky enough to experience another Tap Dance class with Tommy Wasiuta, a young performer, choreographer and tap dance teacher. I can't say enough about his energy and sensitivity to those who have paved the way before him. So glad he's come to New York from St Louis!
