Gönenç GökçayAs a non-native English speaker I was hesitant to attend Salsa classes in a different country, but here in DeMure dance the instructors are always open to questions, patient enough to answer all and they follow up if you actually learn. I don’t memorize the moves, I learn how to lead. That’s great! If you aren’t experienced with Salsa, I recommend to start with DeMure because here you will feel no judgment, no pushy instructions but only dedicated tutors and their encouraging words.

Noni SniderI'm so glad I took this class. Me and my guy, who is very shy and doesn't like dancing in front of anyone, took the level one and he loved it. We're signed up for level two and can't wait to start. The instructors are very patient and knowledgeable about there craft. I highly recommend.
Kevin MillsLast night, I finished 4 weeks of Salsa, Level 1, and (as Angela can verify) was the first person in line signing up for Level 2. Shaleena is a super-efficient teacher, who makes everything look easy, and breaks down the moves into completely digestible nuggets for us newbies. I show up without a partner, and was concerned that I'd be sitting out frequently, but we switch partners constantly, and I'm dancing every moment of the class.

S CGreat salsa classes! Friendly atmosphere, and teachers (Shaleena and Bernard) are fun and knowledgeable. You get to practice practice practice the concepts being taught. 😊 The teachers give you great information/feedback that can help your dancing improve each week.
You don't need a partner to join classes because you rotate around so you can practice with different people...It is also a great way to learn and improve your leading or following role. The space is beautiful with hardwood flooring and mirrors.
I signed up for next level and I'm excited to learn more! I'm happy I picked DeMure as my first choice to get salsa classes in the Twin Cities since I recently moved and wanted to continue dancing!
