Haven't visited since about 7-8 years ago, but I had just as much fun browsing this time around. Lots of fun pieces and for very reasonable prices. Slightly higher prices than a typical thrift store, but the prices were still great and worth paying for what I saw. I picked up a few vintage clothing items and they were in great shape. I would definitely recommend coming here if you're into finding unique and/or vintage clothing!

Take the time to look through the racks to find some great pieces! Fun and retro and modern. They have it all! Always a great time here, they have a good selection for both men and women. You can also bring your clothes to sell which is cool!

This is such a cute and trendy shop, and the clothes are very unique. It was a little pricey but definitely a good stop to look for vintage or funky wear for whatever occasion.

I could go crazy in this place!! They do take clothes and accessories, either give you a % of cash or store credit. I found Buckle Jean's for $25! Many shoes, just everything for men and women! I like unusual things picked up this leather jacket for so little price (pic below) and a really unique belt and many Miss Me Jean's from the Buckle. My boyfriend has found Rock Republic Jean's and a pair of black leather boots he loves!!! They have a bit of everything for everyone's style. Been there many times and plan on going many more!!!

I’ve shopped here in the past and found some pretty decent things, but the selection has gone downhill. A lot of the clothes have stains on them, are torn, etc. I understand that, but that is something that I would expect from Goodwill or Salvation Army, not a company that resells for a profit. I’m unsure what other better thrift stores there are, but I will likely go back to eBay for higher quality and more trustful second hand stuff.

I Love Avalon Exchange! Friendly staff, open well organized store. Tidy and roomy fitting rooms. This is a resale store, so typically, there is only one of each item. So if you find something you like buy it because I can guarantee it won't be there when you go back. They have a wide range of styles 90s, Y2K and such are currently in, and they buy vintage items selectively. (No formal wear, no business wear, etc) if you have questions about what they are buying, please call beforehand. If you sell items to Avalon, you get 30% of what they will sell the item for or 40% store credit of the list item. Store credit doesn't expire. Don't expect to get what you paid for the item. That isn't how resale works. The only complaint is that since they moved, there is no seating inside to wait for buys anymore.

Thrift store with awesome people,music, location, and of course Apparel...they got boots, costumes, jeans , hats, wigs ,it's a funky cool bohemian ,dope selection of gear .They also buy lightly used fashions ,not Walmart brand crap ...gap, H&M meets Goodwill .

I give this store and it's employee's 5 STARS!! Because they are absolutely AMAZING at everything they do! They are GREAT for everyday shopping or for just occasionally or when you want to sell your "oldies but still goodies" clothes and other stuff to them for either CASH or INSTORE Credit! No matter what they are always my go to #1 favorite store!

Pretty good selection (REALLY good selection for people smaller than me, but you know how it goes...) that is kept clean. Prices are generally reasonable. Store gets pretty hot pretty quick. Also- the accessory section in the front is full of not secondhand, cheaply made, drop shipped items that can be found directly on Shein or Aliexpress for half the price they're being sold at Avalon. I love their secondhand clothing, but it isn't cool to not advertise drop shipped items as being drop shipped in a store full of secondhand. Specifically the socks- "5pairs Floral Pattern Crew Socks" are being sold on Shein for 6 dollars. The same socks are being sold individually at Avalon for 8 a pair. That's 40 dollars for what you'd be getting from the same source for 6. Just don't buy the socks.

I wasn't aware of this resale store but it's awesome! The clothing is gently used & they have a wide selection of shoes that you can barely tell are used. I was shocked at how cheaply priced item were. I found a pair of Nike Air Jordan's for only $26.00 that looked almost brand new! You can't afford NOT 2 buy something so reasonably priced!

This place is awesome. They have really nice looking clothes for a low affordable price. Although the only thing I will say that some of the clothes have an odor which usually goes away after 3-4 washes. I love what they're doing out there! 10/10 recommend!

love coming in here to browse and find new stuff every time i stop by. i wish there was a plus-size section, but i understand the store operates based on what clothes they're given, so they might not have enough for such a section

I love this thrift store located on the loop. Perfect location. I've bought some unique and pretty clothes here. Only downside is some of the things are not as affordable because they consider them to be vintage. Nice store. Clean. A bit on the crowded side but I enjoy shopping here from time to time.

There is always clothes to find in Avalon. The only drawback is that prices tend to be higher than other resale shops, but you get unique and reliable clothes for the price you pay. Also, there are always sale racks with amazing deals!

I enjoy shopping here and have since back when it was RagORama, especially since they do carry some plus size clothing, which I have a hard time finding in other resale stores. That said, I wish they offered a larger plus size selection, as sometimes they have hardly anything above a large or xl on the racks. I also don't try to sell things here because they won't buy my clothes, even if they are only weeks old because they are out of fashion. If that happens to other people who are bringin in plus size clothing, I suppose I can see why the selection is so sparse at times. Overall, I still like shopping here.

Wow, this store has everything. It's one of the coolest second hand stores I've seen. Earrings on baseball cards, gogo boots, a party section, and more! I never knew I wanted a pleather skirt until I went here.

This is my favorite St Louis spot to grab key fashionable items for my closet. They have a pretty diverse selection of men's slacks and jeans, and accessories and costume items for all. I recently grabbed a crapload of cheap fur and fake fur during the holidays.

The clothes here are legit and really cool. You can find some solid ass vintage polo and etc. But DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT buy Jordan's or any name brand shoe other than Nike and adidas here. The Jordan's that people bring to them are fakes, I came into the store to check out the show selection and when I looked deeply into a lot of them they were fakes, and not good ones. I bought a pair of fire red 5s with the black tongue because to my eye they looke real, I made a mistake. When I got home I looked at the bottoms and the Jordan man inside the gummy bottom was weirdly shaped and all wrong. Other than this, this store is a great find and a solid place to shop.

Staff seemed preoccupied with a call to the police when we visited. Too much tourism in the area making this a hotspot for peddlers and loitering. Overall nice store with good customer service.

Perfect for finding that diamond in the rough. Staff are helpfullish and the floors have that authentic old squeeky thing that most old buildings have. All the stuff they sell is clean and ready to wear

Kinda stupid to not allow clothes to be sold after 6. It was literally my only day off this week, I brought all my clothes there 10min til 6. Out of the 3 tubs I brought they only looked at 2 jackets. Because it was after 6.
