Okay, maybe it was because of how clueless I must have looked just walking into the store to find some clothes for my 85 year old mother. But, I received assistance almost immediately, and they stuck with me for at least the next hour until we put together six or seven outfits, all a large and challenging size to find. They were great at finding and matching pieces with the colors I thought my mother would like. They made sure I had everything I would need to return anything that didn't fit or that my mother didn't like and threw in some generous coupons for future visits. And guess what: my mother liked everything, and everything fit her comfortably. Now, you know where to go to find outfits for your Mom.

The customer service and sales people are wonderful. I never feel rushed and everyone has always been very accommodating and helpful. Prices can be a bit pricey if there isn't a sale but the quality of the clothing has never let me down. Great place for plus size shopping.

Nice selection of apparel in many sizes, helpful and friendly staff, and found a great sale. The items not available in store were ordered online at the store and will be shipped to my home, no shipping fee. A successful shopping trip!

The store is good for plus size women. They have good quality clothing and bras. I know the prices are astronomical, they usually have a fairly decent clearance section. I prefer to shop online versus in the store because I feel the store doesn’t have that big of a selection. Sometimes I do find good deals on things there or items that people bought online and return to the store. They have free shipping to the store when you buy online, but for eight bucks I’d rather not have to go to a shopping mall look for a spot to park then go in and wait for someone to find the order that I placed.

I have been at the Portland, Maine store 3 times. The associates were attentive, courteous and helpful bringing me clothes to try on. I was shopping for a new wardrobe as I had lost 30 lbs. during my cancer treatments. They never made me feel like I was being watched.

I went into the SoPo Lane Bryant last weekend, but made my way back out very quickly. It had nothing to do with the prices or the selection. It had to do with the aggressiveness of the employees. I don't mind being greeted or asked if I need help, but I do resent being relentlessly followed around the store. It is a small store, and the constant feeling of being watched was oppressive. I won't be going back.
