Great selection of fabrics covering a wide price range based on country of origin and quality. You can get custom shirts for less than $85 to more than $350. I've found the sweet spot for high quality fabrics with contrasting details, mother of pearl buttons (instead of regular buttons) and monogramming to be between $130 and $165 per shirt. I've ordered several dress and casual shirts online and could not be happier. The orders are fulfilled surprisingly quickly. Proper Cloth may estimate a longer lead time but I got some of my shirts in less than four weeks. Just make sure you start with one shirt - especially if you are providing your own measurements. They will "redo" your first shirt for free to make sure it fits properly before they make more. In my case, the first shirt was almost perfect and I kept it. I added a couple extra milimmiters to the sleeves and collar for subsequent orders and they came out perfect. I wish Proper Cloth developed a U.S. supplier in addition to their Asian supplier. I would be willing to pay 30% more to support U.S. manufacturing.

I received a gift certificate for Proper Cloth, and now I'm a loyal and dedicated customer. Their clothes are well made, and the fit is wonderful, even for a "bear" like me! Also, there is such a wide variety of fabrics, buttons/closures, and style variations to customize their products, that you can order virtually bespoke clothing without paying ridiculous designer prices. Finally, their customer service was responsive, helpful, and always friendly and polite. Any hesitation I had to buying higher-end clothing online has disappeared when it comes to buying from Proper Cloth, and going through the initial work of getting good measurements for them to use was well worth the effort!

Out of this world ❤️. I wanted to offer a personalized shirt. I started to search on the web with initials on the cuffs. What was the surprise when I found Proper Cloth! Not only the initials can be added to the cuff, but everything of it can be personalized! From the fabric (over 400 choices!), to the shape of the collar, the type of cuffs, stitching or not, type of buttons, inside collar and cuffs with a different fabric, over 20 personalized measurements, and etc! Wow, wow, wow! And the delivery was quick! Quicker then expected. The service is unbelievable, if you need to alter it after trying, or a remake. It’s all in little details, so much care and attentions. See picture attached, with a little surprise when I unfolded the shirt to get it washed. ;) I strongly recommend. The website experience with AI is extraordinarily. It makes it so easy if you want to make a gift, based on little information that you know from the person you want to give it to. You will simply fall in love with the whole experience!

I love Proper Cloth. Their ever-evolving selection of fabrics is fun to explore. I usually wind up picking one or two and am always delighted with the results. Their breadth of fabrics outstrips any department store by a factor of 10x and the fabrics have interesting backgrounds. Their selection of shirt features (type of collar, type of pockets, rounded cuffs versus straight etc.) way outstrips what's available in the store. Their fit is always perfect, made for me instead of some rough average. Delivery times are stunningly fast. I'm getting shirts within 2 - 3 weeks of ordering them. When I want to make a change to something I've ordered, they gleefully remake the shirt for me.

I am a new customer. Went to one of their stores to take measurements and ordered my first shirts. One of the first shirts came out wrong and after taking the shirt back to the store, where I got excellent customer service, a new shirt was ordered and fits perfectly. I now order 4 way stretch shirts that fits even better and are very comfortable to wear. Why would I order a Proper Cloth for $ 120.00 over a Hugo Boss? It fits better.

Treated me like I was rich or something. I was just ordering two shirts, and I took a while and made special requests, and the customer service rep, Tom, was great the whole time. Then when the shirts arrived, wow! The Japanese low-twist plaid rivals naval/motorcycle wear brands that cost 2x or 3x as much.

Generally have had a good experience ordering a suit and dress shirts from here. Wide selection of fabrics and reasonably priced. However, the "perfect fit guarantee" is a bit misleading. I've had issues with getting my first dress shirt to fit just right and had to submit several remakes, but today when I came in I was told rather stiffly that this would be my last remake, even though I had valid concerns with the fit of the shirt. Seems like their policy doesn't really line up with what they advertise. I would suggest going in person and really making sure you are comfortable with your fit before leaving each time, as there were options like pleating in the sleeves and upper back that I was not aware of during my first few visits.

I gave Proper Cloth 5 stars for the customer service. Yes, I'm one of those whose first shirt was not perfect. However, with no hassle whatsoever, I was promised a remake or a refund. I chose the former because I appreciate a company that wants to have satisfied customers. Note that I am a difficult fit (custom shirt makers here failed miserably) as like many men of my age, my stomach has grown a bit too much, so I'm a triangular fit. But Proper Cloth will keep redoing the shirts until I'm happy so I will test-drive my latest shirt then buy several more. This company knows how to do business. Yes, it might cost them a bit extra to make guys like me happy, but then they've earned a repeat customer.

I needed to get some new suits for work as mine were starting to wear out. I have been buying work shirts (and non work and sweaters etc...) from Proper Cloth for years. They are amazing for that. My first suit I did their size estimator and used some measurements from my shirts and pants and ordered. They nailed it. Perfect cut suit. So I ordered 2 more. I don't think I will be getting a suit from a different method again!

Several years ago retailers combined sleeve sizes reducing their cost, however leaving many with shirts that do not fit. Proper cloth offers custom fit products that fit your exact measurements. Add to that outstanding customer service along with a free remake offer and you simply have the best retail experience will ever have. Easily the best custom shirt, pants and suits in the "affordable" price range. I know $150 shirts, ~$200 pants and easily $750 and up suits may not sound like "affordable" to everyone. But if you get one shirt with your custom measurements (don't even get me started on how great the pants are) you will understand why the superior price tags blows away anything and I mean ANYTHING you can grab off the rack. Go ahead and order a shirt to see what I mean, you deserve to look good. So far I have bought, 7 shirts, 2 pants and 1 sport coat and I will only buy my clothes for the office from Proper Cloth moving forward.

I've always wanted custom shirts, but didn't think I could afford them. I have a big neck (20), XL shoulders and L everywhere else. Store bought shirts always looked sloppy. It took a couple remakes, and submitting 2 sets of photos to a fit expert, but I now have the best fitting dress shirt I have ever owned! I have already ordered a second shirt in my saved custom size and ordered fabric samples for more!

I'm in love. There is NO REASON not to order. Here are two tips -- 1) You will almost certainly need the shirt remade a couple times to get that perfect fit. That will take a little time but it is 100% worth it. Once you have that perfect size you can order many shirts. That's what I did! Second, the best deal is the higher end fabrics ... The lower cost fabrics aren't the best. The higher end (and cost) fabrics have more value. They feel like luxury and are amazing.

I have only bought online, not in their store. Once I figured out my size, then the style, fabric, fit, feel, and quality has been the best I have ever had. Personally, I have to have a non-iron shirt and anything else just looks messy after 10 seconds. Proper Cloth non-iron dress shirts are the best I have ever tried. I plan to replace all of my shirts with their products. They feel luxurious, never wrinkle, actually resist stains, and fit perfectly. I am sold.

My neck size doesn't match my body type for most of the rack shirts. I either buy a shirt that fits and I can't wear a tie as I can't do up the top button or I buy one wear I can do up the top button, but it looks like a tent on me. I haven't had that problem since I started ordering from Proper Cloth. The shirts fit me perfectly, are of excellent quality, they have a good selection and you can get creative in how you customize them. I would definitely recommend them.

Absolutely love the The Everyday Mask 3.0 (Over Head), especially in Black Cotton Linen. The Size Large actually fits a size large head and face - finally we have an excellent mask that fits my husband's head, he's 6ft 3in, just over 200lbs, and has a beard. Love that it's over-the-head. The fit is perfectly snug without being stifling, and it's easy to breathe. I have the same mask, but in Size Small, and finally I have an excellent mask that fits my small head and face, I'm 5ft 1in, approx 140lbs, with small features. Love the masks love the masks luuuurve the masks.

I want to say that their customer service is the best I have ever dealt with. They definitely exceeded my expectations. I also really like the limited packaging for the shirt. It irritates me when I've got a plastic bag, 20 pins, 4 pieces of cardboard, and a wad of paper to package a shirt that goes directly into the wash. Such a waste of time and money. I have done about a dozen shirts from Proper Cloth from heavy flannels to broadcloth and lightweight linens. All the fabrics I chose turned out perfectly thanks to the very clear detailed description of each fabric on the website. My favorite feature is the creation of custom styles that I can save and repeat. I love that I can have my left cuff larger than the right to accommodate a watch and I can choose the number, spacing and styles of buttons. Try doing that with a store bought shirt at any price!

I was hesitant to order a custom sized shirt from an online source but was very surprised when I received it. The material was very soft and after the first wash was the perfect size for me. Yes, they are a little expensive and wishfully would like them to be less but worth it. I will order more in time. She clarified what the changes to different measurements would do to the overall fit which was immensely helpful—instead of just saying we'll make this adjustment based on my feedback. The most important part of the experience is to have a bi-directional form of communication where the advisor can actually "advise" you, and also where you can share your concerns and feedback about the fit you are trying to achieve. I also want to add that the overall process was not rushed at all. I wish all my experiences to all tailor's could be this relaxed and slow. We had an appointment for 30 min, and used up all of the time and a few more min as needed to make sure I was able to look at all the fabrics and understand both casual and formal fits would be to my liking. Great fabrics but terrible customer service. I had issues on 2 of 3 shirts I ordered. The first was a fit issue to be expected with my first shirt. They fixed it but not the way they said they would in the store. The second was an issue with their website that gave me the wrong order. They wouldn't even answer my emails about it. Update: they did ultimately answer one of my emails and offer to fix the issue, so I'll raise my ranking from one to 3 stars. I think the idea of product is great, also the fabrics, seems like they're still ironing out some details.

My go to place for shirts. They have been right every order. The fit is as I measured it. The stitching is superior. The fabric choices are plentiful and high quality. You get an abundance of choices in how you want it tailored. As for price, I can spend $50 on an off the rack shirt, and another $40 to get it tailored (which looks meh, and fits meh). Or I can spend $90 and get the perfect fit in the styling I want.

Honestly can't believe how good the shirts are from this place. Have never been happy with off the rack shirts most of my adult life. Typically too blousey around the middle for my build. Any good fitting shirt I had, it seemed, was just due to dumb luck with the size variability you get with off the shelf clothing. Because of this, had to always buy in person, try everything on, etc. Big pain. I've been wearing custom shirts forever to fix that problem but looking at fabric swatches at my tailor still doesn't give you a great idea of how they will look in real life. Proper Cloth is the best of both worlds- custom made shirts with the convenience of at home shopping with an endless variety.

I've been a customer since 2017 and have never been disappointed. Their website is super easy to navigate. If you decide to change any measurement, before placing the order, the website will indicate your new order has changed, your "neck size is 1/2 inch smaller", is this correct. The quality of the shirts is incredible, even the entry level price and the fit can't get any better. Going into the showroom is also and wonderful experience. They're super helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I have a problem buying dress shirts in my size. I weigh around 295 lbs. but my figure is average looking. I am big-boned and always have been. But my neck size for a shirt that needs to be buttoned at the top for wearing neckties is 22". If I purchased a shirt with a size 22" neck, the rest of the shirt would be like a circus tent - big enough to overlap the front or the back with the excess materials. This is true even if I ordered the shirt online and specify "Extra Slim Fit" which is nearly impossible to find in a 22" neck size. So when I found Proper Cloth, I was super delighted. Not only could I order shirts that were customized to my dimensions, but they would send me one shirt initially to check for fit (they recommend washing the shirt first to allow for any shrinkage during the wash cycle). When certain areas of the shirt were too small, I was able to send the shirt back along with the new dimensions. A new shirt was then made and sent to me for another trial fit, and this time the fit was perfect. Having acknowledged that the current dimensions were correct, they manufactured the other two shirts I had ordered and sent them to me a short time later. In short, if you need a shirt that is custom-fitted, and store-bought shirts can't fit properly, then order shirts from Proper Cloth. Every conceivable shirt dimension can be altered at will, which insures a correct fit. It is well worth the money!

The best part is the FIT! No baggy sides, no choking collar. The cuffs land right on the wrist where they should. Best value in the shirt business as well. Once the dimensions are dialed in, ordering new garments is easy and pleasant. Given the customization and the quality of the fabrics, the prices seem very reasonable. I think I have now had 10 shirts made, both light and heavy, and one tux. I also like it that I am able to customize my collars to be somewhat longer than most people wear. Having a somewhat unusual body (thick neck but otherwise relatively slim, I was never able to get a good fit on off-the rack shirts. Either they were like tents or the collar could not be buttoned. Also, the slope of the shoulders is great. I am totally committed to Proper Cloth shirts. If you are able to go in to one of the retail locations, a personal session will result in an even better fit. Also, it is interesting to see what the Proper Cloth offices are like

Easy to set up a fitting in their Manhattan store when I was in NYC on a long weekend. Lost a lot of weight since last one a few years ago. First shirt was too snug so after sending them in some photos of it, they recommended some changes via e-mail and I got the 2nd shirt. These are great fitting shirts and allow you to get pinpoint dimensions for sleeve length, color size, cuff style, color, chest size and waist size. I have bought several built for my tuxedo and others to wear with my smoking jackets. All have had an excellent fit built to my specifications. There is a variety of fabrics offered so you you can build these so they are affordable or you can go all in for the more expensive luxury materials.

I have never been in the store as I live on the b̶e̶s̶t̶ West coast, but this review was written due to the excellent service (from Tom, Jada, and Zoraida) I have received around a recent order. Sometime in the last 2 years, they changed a collar style (which was a HUGE mistake imo) so the shirt I was expecting was slightly different than I expected, but they made it right and recut the shirt for me with a closer match to what I wanted. This plus the above reasons is why I'd recommend this service (and I have) to others.

Prior to placing my order, I took advantage of the fact that the site offers you the opportunity to send in shirts for measuring (so that the shirts you ultimately order will have the exact fit that you want). Great experience. I generally have trouble finding nice shirts that fit me well. I went through the online fitting process to get my shirt and, though it took 3 iterations, the customer service was excellent and the product felt and fit AWESOME. Now that I got my fit ironed out, I've purchased 2 additional shirts that I love. Very happy customer. I'm not sure why I'd go anywhere else for my button downs. Only negative is that it is a process that can take some time. From order to doorstep has been a 3 week process, but well worth the wait.

The shirt fits absolutely perfectly! It was a bonus to also get metal collar stays, my first experience with those. The fabric is lightweight but also fully opaque so that it keeps you cool while revealing no skin or undershirt beneath. Truly a no wrinkle shirt. I washed and dried it in a conventional washer and dryer and it came out crisp and clean with no need to iron or take it to the drycleaners. But take out the stays before you wash. I like a pocket for my reading glasses, but the absence of one makes it look a bit more chic and stylish. Love it!

This is my first Google review ever because Proper Cloth is awesome. I don't like going to stores and trying on ten shirts to find one that fits well (maybe). From the first shirt I bought from Proper, it fit perfectly and the fabric was very nice. Over time I have refined the fit (they had someone call me once just to see how I like it and she gave me some great recommendations) and have two fits, one for business and one for casual. I have since bought eleven shirts and have had some of them for a couple of years now. The reusable/washable "Everyday Mask v2.1E" masks I bought from Proper Cloth are the best reusable masks I've purchased to date. The experience was overall wonderful. Shirt remakes are a breeze once you get a customer service rep on the line (the main hold up is that the website will otherwise prevent you from remaking more than one shirt at a time). These are my fifth and sixth Proper Cloth shirts for a reason... they fit great, wear well over time, resist staining/discoloration, and are wrinkle-resistant (at least the fabrics I have tried). I am typically cost-conscious, but would recommend these to anyone because they look great and last much longer than other off-the-rack "fitted" brands I have tried. My first and second shirts still look like new from two years ago with nearly weekly wear. I first experienced Proper Cloth bc of a gift card and have since given two gift cards to others.

It is light-weight, fits well as you can chose a size, you can choose around the ear or around the head elastic, and if the sewn in filter is as good as they say, then you cannot go wrong with this mask. I’m 6-3, thin and have very long arms (37 inch) so there’s no standard pre-made shirts that can deal with my size. The fabric quality and colors are superb. The shirt design is up to you for each shirt. There are almost too many choices but you can consult with them online or have a video chat fitting and consultation if needed. You can also have a “remake” if something is wrong. However, following their measurement instructions, supplying height, weight and other details should result in a beautiful shirt. Oh, they hav expanded into suits, jackets, slacks, sweat shirts - pants recently too.

I saw this company on a bespoke shirt review and decided to give them a chance. I’m 5’7” and 170lbs so I have a hard time finding shirts that are slim fit, but not tight. When I saw that Proper Cloth was made to measure, I had to give them a try. I used their sizing tool and made slight alterations for the size as needed. The shirt I ordered was $180 which is slightly pricy, but once the shirt arrived, I was convinced that the price was worth it. When the shirt arrived, it was more than I could have imagined. The size was absolutely perfect and the features (mother of pearl buttons, brass collar stays) were incredible. I would 100% absolutely recommend Proper Cloth and I will undoubtedly be ordering more shirts.

This was my first order from Proper Cloth. I ordered an over the head (wraparound) mask and a standard style behind the ear mask. Both were of excellent quality and the wraparound one was particularly comfortable on the ears. The behind the ear model is a linen blend and looks about as good as a mass can look. Very lightweight and breathable and still 5 layers of protection. What outstanding products. I'm inspired to order other things from them now. Sure, Proper Cloth stuff is pretty expensive but it's also very high quality that's seldom available in the men's clothing market (sometimes at any price point). I will be ordering from them again.

The large fits up to a tall/larger female well, but it's not big enough for my husband who has an XL head (just needs longer elastic). The small size is a perfect fit for my tall 9 year old daughter. We all think they are very comfy, don't get too hot, feel very secure/safe, and don't fall down. Some of the fabrics (like the pale blue denim) are thicker than others, so reach out to Customer Service if you want to make sure you are getting a mask with a lighter/cooler material.

I like the fact they have adjustable ear loops and nose wire which really makes a difference for someone wears glasses. The mask is designed to be wear alone with sew-in filter I think. If you wear a surgical mask underneath like I do, the corners will show.

I was delighted with this service - definitely a bit of effort to sort the sizing remotely, but don't worry too much, as you get a free remake. Mine was out in a couple of areas, so took the photos suggested, sent back and had rapid feedback from Customer Service with revised sizes; the new order was already created for me and adjusted sizes saved when I logged in. Needless to say the second shirt was spot on. Subsequent orders have been easy and the selection of fabrics is amazing. In sum, if you are craving a perfect fit for your shirt, this is the place for you. Be patient at the start - it won't cost you any more - and you'll have sizes refined in a heartbeat!

I am a big guy and have always had challenges finding dress shirts that fit me properly. Usually they fit my neck but are too big in the middle and the sleeves too short. I tried Proper Cloth. Sent in my measurements and was really happy with the first shirt I got. My experience with Proper Cloth is limited to covid masks, but I like them enough that I've bought them here twice, even though they're somewhat pricier than most masks. I wear hearing aids, so I only like masks with strings that go over the head, not around the ears, and those are a little hard to find. I also like that Proper Cloth masks have built-in filters, and I like that they pull snugly around the edges but are loose over my nose and mouth, so if I wear them over a tent-shaped KN95, they don't crush it. And they look pretty classy, and they're quite comfy and breathable. The online shopping, purchasing and delivery experience was unremarkable but perfectly competent and trouble free.

I love Proper Cloth shirts. I don't even waste my money on dress shirts from department stores anymore. The algorithm for the custom fit is very good. Having said that, I tweaked my custom fit slightly from the original algorithm on subsequent orders. However, for simply answering a series of questions, even the original shirt fit better than any off the rack dress shirt I have purchased in the past from a department store. Besides the custom fit, the option to add a monogram and other customizations on the collar, placket, buttons, etc., make these shirts worth the money. Don't hesitate to try Proper Cloth.

First time buyer and with me dictating the exact measurements, the fit was spot on. I ordered a simple white twill dress shirt with french cuffs sort of as a trial run. Unless you need a shirt within a few days, there's no reason not use a company like this because you can send the shirt back or request alterations to it online. About as close as you can get to bespoke tailoring. Get your measurements done beforehand so there will be minor changes if needed. I actually didn't have any measurements done and just used numbers based on what I wear now and knowing what's comfortable and fitting for me. I also like the fact that the custom measurements are saved and any shirt I purchase in the future, I know will be "Proper".

I love being able to get shirts that fit me well in the waist as I am thin and even a tapered shirt bought at a store does not fit as well as these custom shirts. I also was able to return a heavy weight oxford shirt when I realized I did not like the weight of the shirt. I got a medium weight shirt as a replacement and am very happy with that weight. LOVE these masks! I purchased a three-pack in the size small (as they were on sale, bonus!), it was a risk worth taking. They conform really well to my face, the ear pieces and nose adjustment strip are easy to get a perfect fit which feels safe and secure. I like that you can change out the inner 'liner' and remove it when washing the masks. I wear glasses and have had no issues with them fogging up, which is a first. My experience with Proper Cloth, has been as follows, I first tried using the smart measurement, where you answer a questionnaire, the shirt didn't fit well at all. I sent photos to their customer support, and the next cut fit significantly better, however I have very square shoulders and my neck posture is far back, so these tweaks took a few tries. All in all I have gotten four shirts of the same size, and quality seems to be on point. The materials feel awesome so far. I would recommend going through this if you don't fit the off-the-rack size which I don't. I get a lot of compliments on my shirts in the office, which is unusual because fashion isn't really a big thing for folks where I work.

These are the best masks I have gotten so far and I have ordered a lot of them. The material is very high quality and the mask covers more of my face than other masks and has a filter insert as well. They come in grey, navy, and black. I have a big head and the small fit me fine. They are expensive but well worth the money. I got the ones with bands that go around the head, not just the ears - definitely a closer fit with fewer gaps.

After expressing some general interest in their web site after reading some reviews, I signed up and was not overrun with emails pushing me to buy. I got familiar with the site, checked out all the many different options, and got comfortable that I understood my choices before ordering. I took a little time - not a lot, but some - to make sure I understood how to best order to get a good fit, and the differences in fabrics. Having invested just that little bit of time, I easily built the first shirt I wanted. I picked all my personal tastes (French cuffs, upgraded buttons, etc.), and truly enjoyed the process of designing MY shirt. And that is the point - it is uniquely MY shirt. Department stores carry such a limited variety of shirts these days - TRY to find nice French cuffs in a non-tuxedo shirt. A little while later (a couple days earlier than promised) my shirt arrived. The packaging was nice but not overdone. I tried on the shirt, ironed it, tried it on again, then wore it to work. I have to say, I am pretty proud of getting the size right and very happy with the shirt I designed. Proper Cloth made all that possible and at a price that is ultra competitive with shirts of similar or lesser quality, nevermind the customization. Now that I know my shirt fits perfectly, I'm ready to branch out, order some more work shirts, and then try a casual shirt or two. Thanks for the fantastic experience and great shirt! UPDATE - Ordered some Irish Linen pants and they are FANTASTIC. Comfortable yet dressy. My new favorite pants instantly.

I have purchased multiple cotton/linen masks and this is by far THE best one! You can order the masks with either adjustable ear loops or around-the-head elastic. It is made from quality cotton with beautiful stitching to form a nicely contoured shape. It has the best coverage for the face I have ever purchased. It goes from the bridge of the nose to well under the chin. I ordered the large one and it fits perfectly, even though I am a woman and do not have the largest face! I love the coverage, plus there is a very comfortable nose wire for a better fit better around the nose. I have not found many cotton masks that have the nose wire. It is especially important if you wear glasses to help prevent fogging. I am so impressed by this mask, I went back and purchased a multicolored 3-pack! I had not heard of this company before, but am so happy to have found them. They are interested in what you have to say about your shopping experience as well as the product purchased. They also ask for any suggestions you have to help them improve. The masks have already gone through through 4 or 5 versions that improve upon the last. This is a great mask from a quality company! Would absolutely highly recommend! Just buy a 3-pack the first time around, like I wish I had done!

This is my source for shirts. Their service is beyond compare. I don't use hyperbole often. I have ordered custom shirts for almost two years and have been more than happy with the fabric, fit and service. It's just a great total package. I just ordered some Japanese Pique material for short and long sleeved polos. I have a medical hernia which I want to cover up and the custom tailoring allows me to do that. On this order, I made a mistake on the web based custom design tool that resulted in two shirts with features I did not want. To be sure, this was my mistake. When the shirts arrived, they were configured incorrectly because of my mistake. Without hesitation, I was advised how to return the custom shirts at no expense whatsoever to me. My account was credited in full without any forms or waiting on hold to accomplish this. My personal assistant guided me through a re-order process to ensure that the replacement shirts were configured properly. New shirts were shipped directly to me in record time. They fit and are configured perfectly. My punishment is to write this review; which I am more than happy to do. I could not imagine a better process. I've never experienced any better customer service for any product or service. I am really impressed. They have a customer for life.

Nevertheless, the newer shirt is an exact copy of the older shirt in the areas of wear, texture, color, fit, sizing. Proper cloth is the premier atelier in producing quality men's ,wear fashion. My first shirt from them that was produced based off of Downtown Abbey style is beautiful. They have an entire line of shirts for men, as well as ties, jackets, suits. I have ordered 11 shirts over the past four years and I cannot complain. Why anyone would purchase off the rack for a similar price point and bad fit is beyond me. One shirt fabric I have frayed on the cuff after six months of light duty. I thought why not mention it to Proper Cloth and to my great surprise they came through quite unexpectedly with flying colors. They immediately apologized and informed me the fabric I had was no longer available and suggested another more expensive, fabric. Replaced the shirt with the more expensive fabric and shipped it out for free. They also did not require me to return the first shirt, just simply send some photos of the problem.

I really like proper cloth. They have a great variety of shirts at different price points and an infinite number of combinations. It’s fun to build your own shirt and know that their ironclad customer service guarantee is behind it. I have never had a problem with the company. Of course within reason they allow you to exchange shirts you may not like or exchange a shirt that does not fit properly. But after a while this becomes a non-issue since you can dial in your exact fit very quickly. Since I started using proper cloth I have developed a wish list of cool fabrics for different seasons. I think this is my favorite of the many, MANY cloth masks I've made or ordered. It's definitely the best-fitting and most comfortable. It's wider than many, so covers more of your face; the bendable nose piece is longer than most, to fit it snugly not only to your nose but along the top of your cheek; best of all, the elastic runs free inside the casing along the side, so that when it gets old and stretched out you can easily replace it. (Can't believe how many of them are stitched into place, so that when the elastic goes you might as well toss the whole mask, unless you're handy with a seam ripper and sewing machine.) Thanks for a great product.

Proper Cloth puts a focus on a good online shopping experience, and provides easily accessible help for people that don't know how to figure out their measurements, which makes ordering from them pleasant and easy. The shirts are made perfectly to specifications, and they allow for a huge amount of customization without it being overwhelming or redundant, which helps make the shirts feel more personal. It's expensive, but actually worth it imo -- the shirts live up to the price if you are responsible in your decision making about which and how many fabrics to buy, and how well you measure yourself. They also provide a single free resizing of one shirt from your first purchase, so if you get the size wrong the first time, you can have another chance with no extra cost, which you'll probably have to do the first time because measuring yourself for an online order is tough. I've had a great experience with their online service so far, and am happy with everything about my shirts. Never been to the shop in person though.
