I LOVED the store. SO many great patches on the wall. When I asked “how much are the patches” the owner (I assume) replied with a slightly curt “they’re individually priced” and while he wasn’t overly friendly, he was pretty patient with me when I was scouring the wall of patches to find the few I wanted telling me “you want anything just let me know”. He was humming along to the heavy metal music that played in the store and he fit the vibe to me. I kind of get why people are commenting that he was a bit standoffish but that doesn’t get him a 1 star review in my book or anywhere near it. It feels a bit hasty to judge so harshly when the focus is on the one guy instead of the store itself. I’m sure he gets asked the same exact questions day in and day out and I could understand getting annoyed. Because if people look a little bit closer, they’ll usually find the answers they are looking for on their own. I myself don’t like to hold peoples hands to simple answers either. So I didn’t dislike his attitude. Because his store rocked and the stuff in it was so great and that’s honestly what matters to me. He’s kind of blunt, but he’s not rude. Don’t be soft, look where you’re shopping.

One of the best music merch stores I’ve ever seen - reminds me of the spots on St. Mark’s Place in NYC I used to visit in the 90s. Amazing selection of metal/goth/rock band shirts, as well as patches, stickers, etc. Organized by band and/or subgenre. The gentleman who runs the place was super friendly and helpful and I am so confused by the negative reviews here. This is a wonderful gem from a bygone era and I was proud to have the privilege to support this business. Also in case the owner sees this: I mentioned a particular performance in Boston, but realized as I walked away that I was thinking of Montreal, in 2015. Thanks for chatting and I hope you continue to run that wonderful place forever!

This place has the best Tees. The guy has OCD ( takes one to know one ) that is the manager or owner but this place is very !!! Organized shopable. I always buy a few shirts when in town. See you next time. Saying in other reviews ppl that work there are rude, Well this shop of almost all black Shirts is beyond!!!!!!! organized and shopable. You don’t want a bunch of drunks coming in.... if you not buying.

Loved this shop. Goth clothes, shoes and accessories. Tons of merchandise to choose from. The guy at the counter was Very helpful, knowledgeable and kinda friendly. Support local shops! Because they support one another. I didn’t think he was rude, he seemed a little skittish and nervous but he warmed up to us. If I was having a difficult day I may have confused the interaction as rude but I try to give everyone a chance. We made our purchases thanked one another and we went on our merry way.

Very cool place of you're into metal, wish the prices were better.. everything is pretty expensive, Regular $15-$20 shirts are priced at $25-$27+ I understand stand as a owner you can price stuff for whatever you want and some people will pay it but Im sure hed sell a lot more if priced better. Theres thousands of shirts there lol..

This store is so packed with cool stuff it's a little overwhelming. Prices are what you would expect. The guy working when we went in was friendly and helpful. We bought a bunch of industrial band merch and I found my new favorite purse.

I randomly spotted a shirt in the window last rear and HAD to have it. Made a point to go back this trip and they had even more. There is a lot of band merchandise here. Out of print stuff too.

Good selection of rare out-of-print shirts. Hes got Swans, Death, Mastodon, Frank Zappa, Sonic Youth, The Cure, The Clash, Bad Brains, Electric Wizard, Slayer, old Metallica tees and many more. Really any good band which you can't find t-shirts of. Good music playing in the store and a (sometimes) friendly owner. Highly recommend hitting this place up if you are in the area.

They had a lot of cool stuff. The cashier was a little short with me I guess, but if you want friendly service from a punk shop go to Hottopic or browse Dollskill, lmao.

The tees are super organized (by music genre, band, gendered fit, size) and the selection is awesome. The shop keeper was extremely helpful and friendly. I was looking at the Depeche Mode shirts and he mentioned he had the same print in a tank and dug it out for me. We also had an impromptu sing-along to The Police, after which he told me about seeing them live. Overall great store, awesome selection, kind staff. Made my rainy day in the quarter.

Cool shop with lots of hard to find shirts. The guy working there was kinda rude one time, but I went back and he was cool. Maybe he just had a bad day. Either way, they have items in there that you are just not going to find anywhere else.

If you're looking for vintage band t-shirts and cool vintage inspired baroque and punk jewelry, this is THE place to go. The owner could not be more nice. He is very helpful and friendly. I am a New Orleans native and just recently found this store. It is definitely a hidden gem. GO!

By far the best selection of shirts and gear for people that are into the metal, Goth , Punk, Indust / EBM scene. I was very impressed to find a Death In June shirt there that was out of print and my son found a older KMFDM shirt there as well. Worth checking out!

Unreal selection! Wanted to buy 1/2 the store just for the memories it invoked. Great to wear my "Bela Lugosi's Not Dead" shirt around and find out how many fans are out there..."hey man I met Peter Murphy in Monterey"...love it

I stop at Kulture Vulture every time I stop on New Orleans and that's every 8-10 weeks. They carry the coolest rock/metal/goth band and horror shirts that you can't find in any mall store or big online site for that matter (and mostly from hard to find bands). Plus KV sells buttons, pins, hats, and leather bracers.

Hip clothes, giant selection of band shirts, Belts and Belt buckles, jewelry but crazy hours usually not open til noonish but check website for details but we'd gone before on their normal weekday hours and they still weren't open but it's worth it, very young crowd but more Rock n Roll than hipster so we loved it plus our 20somethings loved it
