Beautiful store with a wonderful location. The love that so clearly goes into the business and the garments they care for and sell is unmistakeable. The owner, Trisha, has unmatched knowledge when it comes to her craft and business and it’s wildly apparent that she has poured her heart and soul into The Hip Zipper, and it shows in the best way. Every time I set foot in the shop, it’s a wonderful experience from the delightful staff and their gold star customer service to their ever growing, ever changing selection of gorgeous vintage items. Everyone continues to take the extra step to make their customers happy and make them feel heard while simultaneously being the much-needed voice for the beautiful, one-of-a-kind vintage clothing carry. You will not find a better store in East Nashville (but if you wanted to browse around, Trisha has been so kind as to keep a posted list in the shop promoting all the other vintage shops in the area!). Whether you’re just passing through, “on a mission”, new to town, a permanent resident, or just have a heart for vintage fashion, don’t pass up the opportunity to check this spectacular place out. They’ve gained countless lifelong customers and supporters for a reason; go see why for yourself!

I discovered Hip Zipper Vintage about 5 years ago on a work trip to Nashville. I have been back to town countless times since then and never leave without a visit to my favorite vintage shop even if I have only a few minutes! Their collection is absolutely majestic. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, the prices are fair and reasonable, and the merchandise is stellar. Every single piece. I have worked with them for online purchases as well and have gotten every question answered in full detail before purchasing. This shop is an absolute gem and I continue to spread their name in my travels as my #1 in Nashville. Can’t wait til next time!

Prices are about what you'd spend at a regular retail store, I think they're pretty fair. Some really nice pieces and a pretty good selection. I'm a Medium with wider hips and had no problem finding some stuff I liked

I LOVE the hip zipper! And I love the owner, Tricia! She is the sweetest and coolest gal in Nasheville! I actually discovered her little shop at a music festival in Virginia. Whenever I’m in Nashville or just driving through I make sure I stop and always leave with awesome, one of a kind pieces. The location is really cool too! Get a pic with the Dolly mural💅💗 This isn’t a thrift store, so don’t expect thrift store prices. You are paying for a truly original/hard to find items. I always get compliments on my fits from hip zipper and recommend her shop to anyone who’s interested. If you’re looking for a vintage store that you don’t have to dig through to find something awesome, please check them out! The only problem will be buying more than you anticipated!

What a cute shop, with very reasonable prices (especially for Nashville)! The owner and staff are so sweet, and the pieces they had curated for the store were fantastic! They also have a list of all the other vintage clothing stores in the area and I thought that was really nice. I will absolutely be going back next time I’m in town.

This is my absolute favorite vintage shop in Nashville! I have been going there for years and there is always a great selection of interesting, unique pieces. The prices are reasonable and the salespeople are friendly and helpful. Trisha, the owner is passionate about her shop and dedicated to her clients and customers. She is very responsive to inquiry and also appreciative for the business. She has the best jewelry and accessories, shoes, purses, coats, dresses, slips and so much more! Good selection of men’s items also.

My favorite vintage shop in Nashville!!! This is the absolute best place to purchase beautifully curated vintage clothing, hand-picked by the amazing owner Trisha. There is a selection of everything you could possibly think of (men’s and women’s). The staff are the most helpful and friendly people ever! Not only that, but this shop has been serving the community with unique, authentic fashion pieces for over 20 years. East Nashville wouldn’t be what it is today without Hip Zipper. ❤️

Not the best vintage place i've been to, but not a lot of vintage stores have vintage shoes! That was definitely a unique part of this place. The prices were on the high side like most all vintage. Didn't see much here clothing wise that really stuck out to me personally that wasn't very expensive. Did find some cool stuff. Staff was very friendly and helpful also willing to hold stuff behind the counter. The place is small but packed with clothes!

A large, varied collection worth checking out! I was a little skeptical if I would find something I would like (don’t usually shop at vintage stores), but was happily surprised when I found a nice, chic blouse in under 10 min. And best of all the price was reasonable, and the quality/condition of everything was very good. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

I could do without the girl/owner talking about religion. She was nice, but certain topics I can do without. Especially if shoving ideals. The items are cute. A bit overpriced for a thrift shop. I was expecting more variety.

The selection here is amazing, but if you are a plus size woman, like myself, you will have a hard time getting your breasticles into almost all of the clothing. Loved almost everything I saw and the two women working there were great! Definitely going back.

Great little gem of a place!!! The shopkeeper was so kind & helpful. Prices can be a bit steep but it is well worth it- my favorite section was the jewelry.. so many vintage one of a kind pieces that have been well cared for.

This is such a cute little store. It is very deceiving because a wall mirror in the back of the store makes it look like it is really huge but it is not. There are lots of cute items that aren't super expensive like many other vintage stores in the area
