I began buying men’s hats at MP3 when they first opened, as well as beautiful art books for my collection and smaller gifts for friends. Didn’t start officially shopping here for myself until the women’s clothing options was expanded from a small section in the back to a full womens department, bath and body products, tailoring and accessories. My bf and I often come in just to browse new items on lazy weekend afternoons. The staff is highly in tune with both local and international fashion designers, trends and are always kind, courteous and generally never miss on helping us find the perfect piece for ourselves or even an exceptional gift to give. The free tailoring even on sale items for broken or torn pieces is such a nice service to have. Love the local/neighborhood atmosphere ownership always seems to keep, knowing their repeat customers, seeing all the dogs and just knowing what clients are up to - that’s a vibe you just don’t get at Nordstrom’s. They definitely inspire my wardrobe and my excitement for both men’s and women’s fashion and I’m happy to know we have this gem of a boutique in my neighborhood that now offers a wider selection for more style types. Sales are amazing and they will do their best to order sizes not in stock. We generally never walk out empty handed, whether it’s a gorgeous Mackage winter coat, a versatile funky suit jacket, a sweater to satisfy my Isabel Marant obsession or just a new perfume, bracelet or hand crème. Martin Patrick will always be at the top of our list of places to check first when we need something unique, stylish and that will stand the test of time.

Hands down Robert is the best at what he does. Greatly appreciate everyone over at MP3. From the private tailoring accommodations during the bachelor weekend, to the final fitting on wedding day, customer service was top notch. Robert even went as far as to make an appearance at the wedding reception and even offered post wedding alterations free of charge. Shipped to my front door. Like I said, he is the best at what he does. Period.

I've been a customer of MP3 since they were in the very small space on 1st Street North. It is undoubtedly one of the best stores nationally. Yes, it can be uber expensive but I have found some GREAT deals here ranging from menswear, apothecary, candles/incense, household items, travel items...all in that little sale/clearance room. Annually, around black Friday, they'll also discount the entire store (including apothecary) so I generally stock up during that sale. I even bought a floor model sofa 90% discounted. When they found some damage that I hadn't noticed, they took a few extra days to repair it (on their dime). While it's very upscale, you won't feel uncomfortable in there. The sales ppl are so friendly and will offer you a (complimentary) drink while you walk around and just admire. They also have this rewards program. I cannot remember but it used to be spend $500, get $50 store credit or spend $1000 and get $125 store credit. The only thing that I wasn't 5 stars about here was Marty's (barbershop). It was a good cut but a good barber should NEVER be that expensive. Overall, highly recommended.

They’re reputation speaks for itself and if you’ve been there then you probably don’t need a review on how great they are. I recently wanted to step my game up for what I wear to work and they did not disappoint! Don’t be intimidated by some of the really higher end stuff they have if you don’t have an unlimited budget. The staff wants you to look amazing no matter what your budget is and also have an amazing sale section where you can mix in sale and non sale into your closet! The device is unmatched and I always walk out feeling like the most important person in the store!

I was able to find one of my favorite colognes at this location, I was very pleased to be able to get it in store in person after purchasing a high quality fake cologne from a third party seller from Walmart.com. Todd set up something special here for my husband and his groomsmen the day of our wedding and we are so thankful. Chris says he had an amazing experience! He got a haircut and a shave which is a little scary in itself to get a shave the day of your wedding but he was made to feel so comfortable and they did a great job. He says he was truly given the royal treatment. They also had mimosas and pastries for the guys to enjoy and fitting rooms for them to get dressed in. But Martin Patrick is more than just a barber shop! It is primarily a menswear store but that doesn’t even begin to describe it. They have everything you can think of making it a great place to buy gifts, not just for men, but for anybody. The customer service is out of this world! Plus they have a liquor license so you can drink complimentary beverages while you shop, get fitted, or come in for a shave or haircut. Go check it out!

I go here with my husband. I love this store. I wish there was a women's section. It's a fairly big store with a great selection of high end designers. They have a grooming section with toiletries, shaving products, a while Aesop section with a sink to try the different products. There is also a men's barber shop that does shaves, haircuts, trims, beards, etc. The piece de resistance is an amazing sale section. Some of the items are so heavily discounted, you do a double take. You can pick up some great pieces in the back room. Some things are over 50 percent discounted. Granted, the pieces are still several hundred dollars, but they are high end designers. We found a great bellstaf jacket that was 60 percent discounted...what a steal. You can also find shoes, accessories, jeans and pants, tops, sweaters, work suits, shirts, vests, etc. It changes over pretty quickly so check often. Sizes are very limited. The staff is generally helpful and friendly.

This is one of those places you feel like you can explore forever. Amazing men's clothing, accessories, skin care, as well as furniture, art, and house wares. There is even a small jewelry store in the middle of it! Lets not forget the barber shop, the interior design studio, and the coffee/bar station. This place really has it all. The staff is also very helpful and contribute to the full experience of the store. Its always a treat going here.

I am a regular guy - not a big spender - but I wanted to get some clothes that didn’t shout “hey... I’m 54 and all I can think of to wear are Carhartts”. So I came here on the recommendation of a friend. I went in, did a quick walk through, realized I had no idea what to look for, and then Went to the front counter, found a salesman -Eric- and said “I need help.... dress me.” I explained a little more. Eric took over. He showed me a huge variety of stuff and after an hour or so I walked out of there with some awesome clothes - All from the sale racks. I saved more than I spent... that’s for sure. Plus... I have a “clothes guy” who I can trust to find me what I want. So, if you want to keep looking like Larry the Cable Guy.... keep shopping at Fleet Farm. If you want to look a little more current... come to MP3. Find a salesperson and let them work their magic.

This is one of the best retail stores anywhere. Everything is fantastic (staff, selection, design...everything except for parking (tough to find street/meters only) and costs are higher than most will likely want to spend. That said, the staff will pour you a drink and let you just wander to look/adore. Highly recommend. And check out the same room!

It seemed like her specialty was furniture but knew quite a bit about the clothing and brand history. This was my second visit to MP3. Bar none, the best men's clothing store in the twin cities. Pricey...but you have to be to be the best. You might find places like this on the east and west coast and maybe (and I emphasize maybe) in Chicago but if you don't want to have to catch a flight to do high-end shopping you have to come here.

I live in Montana, but I found the Martin Patrick 3 store on the Ligne Roset website when I was shopping for a Togo sectional. Sam contacted me, and he was immensely helpful with providing detailed measurements, sending me samples of leather, and answering my many questions on the product. My entire buying experience has been excellent and I would highly recommend this store! I'm looking forward to shopping in-person next time I travel to Minneapolis.

This is an expansive, beautiful men's shop with a very wide range of merchandise including shoes, personal care products, home goods, barware etc. It seems to appeal to all, from hipsters and the well-healed older crowd. I consider it to be major tourist attraction in the Twin Cities and I bring many out of town guests here. It's really a nice place to spend an hour or so, and then go have a cup of coffee at Moose & Sadies next door and explore the cool shops across the street. If you are going to be in shopping in the North Loop it's a must visit.

So I recently had to purchase new clothes for a wedding, and I needed all new everything. Having a limited budget and approximately equal or lesser knowledge of how to properly dress myself, I expected the whole process to cost at least 600 dollars and whatever the equivalent of that would be in panic attacks... which might have been the case at Express or Brooks Brothers, but not so at Martin Patrick 3. Actually, it was whatever could be considered the opposite of a panic attack. The staff here hand-picked an entire outfit for hundreds less than I expected to spend on a jacket alone (ask for Todd – I didn't even know my jacket size, but he did just by looking at me). Even on a budget, just say so and they'll accomodate your needs (as in the absolutely unreal clearance section – as in $150 button-down shirts for $50... unreal.) Strictly by the numbers, it's spendy compared what you could spend somewhere else (in mall men's fashion terms: more than H&M, but depending on your needs and willingness/ability to get creative/flexible style-wise, actually less than Express or Brooks Brothers). I'm a firm believer in quality over quantity, though – and you seriously get what you pay for here – complimentary beer/wine, even. For what it's worth, by the numbers, I can afford to shop here like once a year, but for what it's worth, it's worth it. Bottom line: MP3 is one of my favorite places to shop for anything, anywhere.

I love MartinPatrick3. There is literally something for everyone at MP3. You don't need to break the bank to look good (and to feel good.) I met Robert Elder 3 years ago. He has helped me every step of the way in building a wardrobe for the office and for play. He has been a great counselor in helping me define my style. He is honest when something works and when it does work. He is creative in finding solutions -- especially when you find something from the rack that you love but the rack doesn't love you. All in all, MartinPatrick3 is my home away from home; and Robert makes the experience a total joy.
