I went there today the two girls working there was very friendly and helpful. I bought stuff and also dropped off items .. they have great stuff there my 14 year old daughter loves shopping here. The prices are good.. They took a few pairs of my jeans that I dropped off, I did not get much for them but I understand they have to make money too plus something is better than nothing , the rest are going to goodwill. My overall experience was great!

I've made 46$ Max at one time selling clothes since I've been coming here , however lately they've been turning my things down. I've brought brand new name brand things they turned down but they've bought very worn and beat down things it makes no sense . It's a nice store but has gotten expensive over the years

Best thrift store ever. goodwill prices for name brand stuff. I can't believe people are rating this place one star just because they wouldn't buy your stuff. The reason might be because they have so much clothes in their inventory they need to get rid of some. I'm sure more people come in to sell than to buy. It's called supply and demand. Anyways, I thought this place was awesome. Similar to retail stores but with hundreds of choices and very reasonably priced. Most of the stuff I purchased was 15 bucks and I bought expensive jackets and shoes.

I have experience buying and selling at this store multiple times and I’m overall pretty impressed. They always seem to take a decent amount of clothes, they honestly don’t give you a TON of money for them, but I’d rather get a little less from them and not have to of do all the work of selling online. I always find cute, trendy clothes when I come here and the staff is usually pretty friendly. I love the concept of this store and it really takes the annoyance out of consignment shopping.

Always friendly and inviting. I’m male and mostly females in the store when I come in. I look primarily for shoes. Never had bad experience. Seems these ppl leaving reviews expecting red carpet to roll out upon entry. Store works for me.

I went shopping here during their clearance event this past weekend. Unfortunately, due to an issue with the register, a duplicate charge occurred on my card. The woman at the counter did state this was a possibility and asked that I keep an eye out for a duplicate charge. When it posted on my account, I called the store and spoke with Brittany. Not only did she help me get the charge refunded, but she treated me with such kindness and respect. I was so pleased with the amazing customer service from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!

Clothes are a great price for the money. Also selling is easy and convenient. Made some good cash taking my stuff in. Fast and friendly service. Go see there new location across from southridge. They are located by the dollar store and old country buffet. Go stop by for the latest fashion wear on a budget. Some things are even new with tags. Better then the mall and more variety. Love this store

A nice selection of clothes, mostly in "good-as-new" condition for a decent price. I visited to sell some of my nice barely-used clothes. All they bought from me was a nice dress for about $2; wish I could have gotten more for it, but that's more than I would have in my wallet if the dress was still sitting in the back of my closet. The girls working seemed friendly and attentive to customers, even though they were very busy.

I see why they had the rating they currently have. Several items were mistagged with wrong sizes which is frustrating. No employee interaction with customers on the floor or fitting room. I was able to buy something but it wasnt worth the trip.

I mostly sell versus buy. I find the dropoff process to be very efficient. You can go shopping elsewhere in the strip mall while you wait for a text that your merchandise has been assessed. They do not take everything, which can be a bummer, especially if you make the time to drive all the way over there, sort your goods, etc.

I was a bit nervous going in seeing all the negative reviews. But it wasn't bad at all, nicer than most thrift stores, good options, decent prices. Although the punch card they give out is worthless. Spend 200 dollars and you get 15% off your next purchase, Up to $100. Not very appealing. Most stores I visit give 15-20% discounts just for purchasing on the right day. Other than that employees were nice and place was clean. I'm guessing more of the negative reviews come from people who want to sell?

This place is friendly, fair, and fun. No one has a glum attitude or has been negative towards me one time and the staff is awesome. Heres the deal..if you take care of your clothing and want the best possible dollar on your stuff... come here. If your looking for fantastic prices and continued shopping rewards... come here. If your trying to sell cloths from the 90's or stuff so worn out you dont know their original color...donate them to charity or throw them away! Its only fair any store sells you the best quality in style items possible .

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews, I've been going here literally for years and have never had a problem. I've gone to other Plato's and this one seems to have the best selection. Although they are quite picky with clothes they buy, but I wouldn't consider that a bad thing.

While it is true that when compared to the Brookfield store, this Plato's Closet doesn't have as great as a selection and as many name brands, I found that (unlike most other reviews) the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I didn't walk as way with much as I would in Brookfield but did manage to snag a sweater and some Birkenstocks for a low price!

Good selection of clothing. They have name brands like American Eagle and Brandy etc, you just have to look through everything. Clothes are cheap and in good quality, definitely would recommend shopping here.
