Went on a Saturday morning and it was busy but we were helped immediately by John. He took us to the most affordable section first, and could tell my boyfriends measurements just by looking at him (impressive)! We ended up buying two suits, one cheaper one more expensive (100% wool), and he gave us a great deal. Definitely would recommend to others looking for quality and affordable suits in Los Angeles.

Romeo helped me get a navy suit. I decided to get the wool suit instead of the polyester blend. He threw in a white shirt, and all together it was $200. He recommended Freddy's down the street to tailor it for another $40. Is that the lowest price I could have gotten? No idea, but I'm happy with the service.

I cannot tell you how many people told me to come to here and let me tell you it exceeded ALL of my expectations. John was so friendly and helpful and it was immediately apparent how unbelievably knowledgeable he was. He didn't even need to size my boyfriend to immediately get his measurements right and all of his suggestions were perfect. Not only did he pick out the perfect suit for us, but he also helped us pick the shirt and tie color options. Everything was super high quality and INSANELY cheap. And if that wasn't enough he recommended a super cheap tailor right down the street and gave alteration recommendations. I will be recommending going here to everyone I know and we'll 100% be back to buy all our suits from here in the future!

Great experience,great prices, got a nice suit (jacket/pants),shirt,tie,belt for 140 and had it tailored around the half a block away for 35 in roughly 1hr and 30 min, parking on the weekends is 8 dollars ,during the week days you can get.parking on the streets, area is rough outside of the fashion district so stay within the area and you'll be fine

Great place to buy a suit. I read the reviews and decided to visit. Glad I did! I called a couple of suit places and ask for a quote. So, had an idea of what I was getting and paying for. Walk Into Al Weiss Men’s Clothing store immediately greeted. Walked out in 15 minutes with the suit I wanted and confident I got the best price. Definitely going back next time with my two sons.

This place was recommended by many co-workers and I needed a new suit so I gave it a chance. I was amazed at how quickly they figured everything out. Within a couple tries they had the jacket that fit without tailoring, pants that were comfortable that only needed to be hemmed. Which was done around the corner for under $10. Ten minutes at the tailor and I was done. Prices were very affordable, surprised me with everything that I got. All this within an hour. Blew my mind. Definitely going there again.

Came to Al Weiss based on the reviews on Yelp. Needed a suit for me and my 5 groomsmen for my wedding. The staff was great and was very helpful. Even though they did not have the suit that I wanted all of the groomsmen had great things to say about their experience here. Al and John helped us all out and were both experts on picking your size just by looking at you. The groomsmen looked great at the wedding. I will continue to come here when needing a suit and will be quick to recommend to anyone else.

Good prices for bulk suits. The owner is super knowledgeable and can spot you a size with just his eyes. Prices are favorable but can prob haggle down a bit if you buy bulk such as groomsmen suits since I saw a lot of groups there, myself included. One thing I would recommend is not use Lupita as a tailor, which they recommend you go to for any alterations. I had to go back there 5 times and the alterations were not very good. One of my groomsman's pants were too small so we had to come back here and buy another pair for Al Weiss hooked me up for cheap.

This suit shop is legend. I have bought suits from Burberry, Ralph Lauren Purple Label and Isaia, paying way too much, and yet came here and was fitted perfectly within five minutes; John knew my size better than even I did. Came to the suit shop just to help my brother get a wedding suit, with no intention of spending any money, and I ended up buying my own super 140s wool suit that I paid literally a fraction of the price for compared to all the other brands I’ve bought. Then John walked me over to their tailor one block away and the tailor knew exactly what she was doing, and even charged a third of what I’ve paid for full suit tailoring elsewhere. I will be flying in to LA just for suits at Al Weiss.

I'm tall and big, so finding my size is a little hard. As soon as I walked in they knew my ruff size and they had a few selections but I needed a black coat. The prices are decent, not cheap but not too expensive. I will stop by again if I need another coat and maybe get a vest as well.

I needed a bigger vest that they didnt have in store, they shipped it expedited in the limited time frame i had to work with. The tux was beautiful, and they gave me an excellent price, much cheaper than renting, and now i own it! i will continue to go here for any formal needs, and i would refer any of my friends there as well!

I can't say more about the establishment!! My wife and I went in today and we were met at the door by Romeo. He took one look at me and picked out the perfect black suit. He then pick out a shirt and tie that matches perfectly!! I ended up buying 2 suits, 2 shirts and 2 ties and was out within 30 minutes. Everything was a little over $300 (awesome deal)!!! These guys are awesome. Pricing is great, picked up several suits for a couple hundred bucks and they even threw in a few ties. The material on the suits is excellent. Just show them a photo of the color and style of suit you want and they will find something similar for you. They have a tailor several blocks away that they walk you over to once you purchase your suit if you want it tailored that day. In a few hours, you can have a fully tailored suit for cheap!

We were able to buy very nice, high quality suits here for less than the cost of renting elsewhere, and the service was exceptional. I had the opportunity to both deal with Romeo, my salesman, as well as Al Weiss, the owner, and both were professional, helpful, and committed to getting me just want I wanted. He was super friendly and knew my size and fit right when I walked in. He walked me to Freddy's Tailor Shop around the corner to get them customs tailored. Two suits, 3 shirts, 3 ties for under $400. Will come here for all of my future suit needs. Great experience. Highly recommended!

What everyone says is true. Walk in, they know your measurements, they're extremely friendly, they have great taste and are not pushy about anything. I worked with Romeo (I believe) but I saw others doing great work, as well. A wonderful experience. They make their own suits so the prices are great but the quality seems top notch. They have designer suits as well. I intend to return for any suit related needs in the future. Cannot recommend enough.

Al Weiss Men's Clothing store has been around Los Angeles for several decades now though they have recently moved into a building when the original location was demolished for a new structure. You'll find when you visit customers that have been shopping there for years if not decades. They have been the store of choice for any experienced professional needing suits that look great, are durable, and affordable. They carry everything from 88$ polyester blends to $1000 Armani Super 150 wool suits so you're sure to find something in your budget. What impresses me the most was their selection and value in the $150-300 range. The suits they carry have a fit and finish that you normally would be paying $500-1000 in a retail store. In fact, in recent forays to the mall, I have found that the current offerings of suits are much lower in quality and features than Al Weiss carries. The people there are fantastic and a really keen eye for your fit and can size you up as soon as you cross the threshold and pull 5 suits for you in less than 30 seconds to try. They have a variety of accessories as well and can assemble complete wardrobes very quickly and for a lot less than you might have thought. The last time I was there I was able to buy 3 super-120 wool suits with 3/4 line pants for under $500. The suits have held up nicely to everyday wear so don't worry about the quality. Parking can be a challenge as the store is located smack in the middle of the garment district. You might need to circle around the block a couple of times but you'll eventually find something - avoid the $4 and $5 lots littered throughout the area. Your patience will pay off with the savings you'll reap.

Easiest suit buying experience. The staff were very professional, nice, and talented. They were able to visually size me and find me the right fit almost instantly. I walked out with a shirt, pants, and jacket in 15 minutes. They recommended a tailor to me only a block away and was very happy with the results.

Great experience! Took great care of me, found a suit I liked that fit well all wool at a great price with shirt and tie. Sent me down the street to their recommend tailor and all said and done had a new tailor fit suit in less than 1 hour total including walk time to the tailor and car. And this was on a Saturday! Parking is no problem one street over at a meter which is far less than the garages nearby.

Geeze, 5 stars and over a hundred reviews ...that is almost unheard of ! I came here early morning with my man and were able to get in and out within 15 minutes! Not sure if they just know by looking but they were able to find the perfect fitted suit for him within seconds! I love love loveee the way a nice fitted suit looked on him. They even threw in a shirt and tie for $125 ! The fact that it was such a great deal and how awesome the owner was with the policy of if there was any problem with the suit to just come back and they will give you a new one no questions ask, really made us go back for a second suit within minutes. For the second suit we asked if we can just get it for $80 and they gave it to us! I am all about great deals and literally got a female hard on!

Inexpensive but nice suits in your size with just a quick look up and down; these guys are experts. No posted prices and I’m pretty sure we paid at the high end. I don’t know how they decide, but we didn’t get an $80 suit like others did. Don’t go around the corner for tailoring. It was cheap, but it took forever and was improperly done.

Amazing service. Can't rave enough about this place. I'm a return visitor from 2 years ago and within 5 seconds of walking in, Mario looked at me and said "Good to see you again!". He then gave a quick glance and named out my suit size. I was walked over to the suit section and picked out the nicest one. The fit was spot on (just needed a sleeve adjustment) - I swear they're magicians here. I picked out another pair of slacks, 4 shirts and two ties. They rung me up and I was super happy with the price. In and out in 30 minutes. They then pointed me to a super nice tailor a 5 minute walk away where I got my alterations done in just two hours.

Also the owner was very reasonable in giving us a price for multiple suits. There is an all day parking structure just around the corner from there for five bucks. Was very pleased with overall experience.

Extraordinary service. I went in 30 minutes before closing expecting to buy a suit, and guess what... I bought a suit! There's limited parking in the area, but street parking is your cheapest option. After I picked out my suit, they sent me to the tailor next door. Very easy and streamlined process. They don't sell shoes, FYI, and their tie and dress shirt selection is limited to few no-name, inexpensive brands. If you're looking for a complete suit, and are shopping on a budget (or not), this is a great place to get a bargain deal.

Trust the reviews its true, i was struggling to get a suit because im a tall big guy, as soon as I walked in they were courteous, attentive, eyed my size correctly and I walked out with a quality name brand suit for a little over $100 and got it tailored perfectly next door for a little less than $50. The whole process took 90 min.

hate all you people who wrote reviews on this place. I had hoped to keep this place the hidden gem that it is. I have been shopping here for years. I do have experience selling men's clothing myself. in another lifetime, I sold high end suits like Armani, Boss, Ferre, etc... So I was surprised to find this place, with such cost effective pricing and great quality....and the best thing about the place is the knowledgeable pleasant respectful helpful staff! Don't walk, run to this place. But please, don't touch anything in size 46 Long.

I walked into the place, and was greeted by Ramon. I said, "I need two suits: one detective look, and one upscale look." He points at me and says, "42 short. Over here!" The first coat I try fits perfectly, but I wanted something in blue. Next coat I try on: perfect! Then the upscale look without the price, and boom, done! He also paired up three shirts and ties (two of each for the latter suit), and I was sold. I hate spending time shopping for clothes, and I was able to get everything I needed in TEN MINUTES! I will definitely shop here for suits from now on.

Awesome experience. In and out in 20 mins. However, i didn't feel rushed at all. It felt very professional and every suggestion was spot on. He took one look at me and had my size nailed down. This place is firing on all cylinders. Then i walked around the corner and had my pants tailored in 40 mins while i walked around taking in all the culture. I will be back. Also, I went on a Sunday and found a parking spot close by, so that was also nice.

Great place to get a suit. Ramon definetley gave us his wisdom on suit styles and fashion opinions on how to dress to the nines. Don't know your suit size? No worries they will tell you just by looking g at you! Arrived 30mins before closing and they didn't rush us to leave, instead we were treating with respect and kindness.
