Absolutely thrilled about my experience with Whittington Bridal and miss Jordan! I was so nervous about trying on dresses as I’ve still not lost all the weight I’d like to for my wedding in July. I was feeling really self conscious going into my appointment. The entire staff made me feel so welcome and comfortable and I felt at ease right away. The store itself is so adorable and I love the Instagram worthy phone booth in the front. Their selection of dresses was almost TOO good. I tried on about 10 dresses and I was in love with so many of them! Jordan was a great resource to lean on and gave me helpful tips and info on how to narrow down my choices. This was one of the dresses I tried on and felt like a princess. I cannot wait to get married and I’m so happy that this pivotal step in the planning process is now complete. Trust me, you simply MUST book your appointment and let Whittington take care of you!

I cannot say enough good things about Whittington Bridal! The boutique was beautiful and full of dresses. The consultants were kind and so helpful. Whittington Bridal makes brides feel comfortable and confident during their shopping experience! The appointment begins with a mimosa and end with a champagne toast, after you "Say Yes to the Dress"! Jordan was my consultant and she did an amazing job! I went to Whittington Bridal with an idea of what I wanted in a dress. I was pleasantly surprised that the boutique had so many dresses similar to what I was interested in. Jordan did a great job by pulling dresses with details that I was looking for in a dress. I also loved that Jordan had me try on a few dresses that were completely different than what I thought I wanted. After trying on a few other dresses, it solidified that I was saying yes to the right dress! I had a great experience at Whittington Bridal and I am certain that you will too!

I had the BEST experience at Whittington Bridal! This was my first time shopping for a wedding dress. They had a great variety of gorgeous dresses to choose from! The place was clean and orderly! Each person was assisted in every way without feeling overwhelmed/rushed or crowded. I liked having the hour and a half for the appointment. I also had the most AMAZING consultant ever- Ellen! She was the best in every way from knowing what I liked, making me feel important and having an overall wonderful experience that one should have! If you can get her she was THE BEST! I’ve been wanting to go to Whittington Bridal even before I was engaged and to finally go was so fun and special. Something that attracted me to them was their dress selection, they have everything for every bride! The boutique was so well decorated and didn’t feel stuffy at all even when other brides are trying on dresses. I had Kayla help me and home girl knew what she was doing! She helped me find a dress I loved but I had another appointment right after, she told me to go to that one and then come back to Whittington and try the dress on. They squeezed me in at the end of the day and I ended up saying yes to the dress! Whittington Bridal is truly the best place to shop with the best bridal consultants that genuinely want you to feel beautiful on your special day. Highly recommend! :)

I highly highly recommend Whittington Bridal! I worked with Jordan, and she was a dream of a stylist. She made me laugh and enjoy the whole process. She paid attention to all my reactions to help interpret how I was feeling in each gown. You might be thinking there are great shops everywhere, but when you’re trying to find your dream dress, I learned it’s important to go somewhere that has stylist that is excited to work with you and help you find your gown without pressuring you to make any final decisions that same day. Jordan could tell I needed some time away to make a decision and she suggested I do so and gave me really good advice. I was able to come back in the next day and put my dress back on and finally say Yes to the dress! It was really fun working with her and I honestly want to just relive the whole experience everyday!

I had been to Whittington back in 2014 to purchase a dress for NCL. After hearing how a friend had recently searched all over Houston and found her wedding dress here, I had to book an appointment to return for my wedding dress shopping. My mom, aunt, grandma, and I were greeted with mimosas at arrival, and it was definitely a popular place to be on a Saturday! I mostly tried on dresses from my favorites list online and found the one I loved. If you find a dress you love in their catalog, I would recommend going to Whittington last on your day of shopping, as they offer a 15% discount if you purchase during your appointment with them. Unfortunately, we went here first and didn’t want to commit to purchase until after we visited all the stores on my list, which means we missed out on the discount. Renay was the one helping me with the dresses and was a lot of fun to work with. She was so uplifting and positive! Would highly recommend.

I had the BEST time with Jaycie. I had an appointment earlier in the day at another boutique and had a horrible time. Right off the bat, Jaycie was so sweet to my whole entire group. I was having trouble finding something I loved and she paid a lot of attention to detail and asked what I loved about each dress I tried on. Whittington Bridal is spectacular! My stylist, Ellen, had a good vision of what type of dress I wanted and what was gravitating my attention. Her assistance throughout my appointment was 10 out of 10! I walked away with a dress I felt deep in my heart was the one. The rest of the staff were helpful too with serving my guests, explaining the payment process and providing estimated deadlines regarding my dress. Ellen was very knowledgeable and kind, but more importantly, an active listener. She listened to the vision I had of my dress and wedding, and stayed true to providing dresses and accessories that would capture that. I would recommend any bride who hasn't booked an appointment for wedding dresses yet to try Whittington bridal first. I did and I think I made the perfect choice😊

I literally cannot say enough about this boutique and it’s customer service. The ladies were extremely accommodating to my mother who is battling stage 4 cancer. All employees wore a mask while we were in the shop to help keep her safe. Everyone greeted us as we walked through the store. I’m just in awe of the way they took care of each bride. I’m a bariatric patient which I disclosed at the beginning of the appointment. This calls for special measurements but they are working around that as well. If I was to get married all over again they would be my first choice. I had a second appointment booked for another shop but cancelled right away. I love these ladies so much and could not thank them more for taking care of us for this special day.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about my experience at Whittington. They truly went above and beyond. I have been to 8 different shops in the area and had the best experience here by far. I had an appointment here months ago and did not find my dress then. I worked with Ellen each time I was there and she is so kind, patient, and incredibly creative and honest with her approach to her work. I told her that I was interested in seeing if they could get a new collection dress in from a specific designer. They worked for months to get that dress in and kept me informed the whole time. I had a follow up appointment with them this week and tried on the dress I asked them to bring in. It turned out that wasn’t my dress but Ellen put me in a different dress by the same designer and put the overskirt from a separate dress on and it was magic. She really went above and beyond for me and that’s just how Whittington operates. I can’t wait to see my dress next May!

What a dream and easy process! This was the first and only store I looked at and I found my perfect dress. Before your appointment you get to look at their current inventory and make a wish list. This allowed me to filter through my picks without trying on a million dresses in store. I got the pleasure to work with Jordan. I read a post saying most brides leave bridal stores with the complete opposite of what they thought they wanted. And I saw another post saying most brides fall in love with dresses chosen by the stylist vs what they chose for themselves. And let me tell you that is 100000% true!!!! I cannot express enough how much of a great time I had at this bridal salon. Renay was my point woman, she actively listened, guided, and made this entire experience so much fun. Her bubbly personality and attention to detail helped me find the perfect dress for my perfect day. I had an initial consult with Renay, in which she spent 45 minutes with me trying to find which style I liked most; I scheduled a second appointment to actually bring my family in to help pick my dress. I had to change the initial appointment though, because of an unexpected obligation… needless to say, Renay went above and beyond and came in on her day off to accommodate me. I can’t even begin to express the joy I had leaving this place! We were getter for our appointment instantly and offered a mimosa or there lavender mimosa I recommend there signature lavender really good it’s complimentary. Renay helped and guided us and made us feel comfortable to be there as I am a bigger girl usually we’re 2x-3x in clothes and have had such a hard time finding the perfect and unique dress for me Renay helped me find exactly the dress I wanted and they had a overwhelming amount of amazing options for curvier and bigger woman was a different feeling that made me feel so incredibly happy inside. Even when trying in the dresses Renay helped me and the dress fit my body and switched sleeves of the dresses that were perfect for my dream dress. I even cried because I’ve never felt this kind of love and appreciation for my body when walking into a store and it was such a amazing feeling. My friends and I had the BEST experience with Chloe. She was extremely professional yet had a warming personable touch to her service. I flew into Houston to specifically shop for a wedding dress and Whittington was my last stop of the day since it was furthest from the Galleria area. I am so glad I made the drive. Angela was amazing when I showed up about 20 minutes early, she was flexible and started my appointment versus making me wait. I loved her personality and help picking things out. Unlike some other boutiques, Angela never brought me a dress that didn't fit my criteria and found a veil that matched so well I bought it also. I was not sold on the idea of a veil but it just matched so well! The boutique was clean, pretty, well lit and inviting! My bridesmaids and I felt very comfortable! They also had tons of dresses to chose from so I did not feel limited! I would 100% recommend them to anyone!

I just bought my 10 year vow renewal dress from Whittington Bridal a couple of weeks ago. I had the most fun, professional, and caring dress consultant Angela who made the process so easy. The bridal shop is beautiful! I felt so special since the moment I walked in. The front desk associate was friendly and greeted me with excitement to help find my dress. We were then greeted to Angela who then gave me and my party mimosas! I have gone a few places before to try on wedding dresses, but this place is unlike no other. LOVED My experience here. I had a reasonable budget but it was still pretty tight and Chloe did an amazing job finding a dress not only right in budget but perfect. I would recommend them to any bride. We all know how stressful getting a dress can be and they made it an amazing experience, they weren't pushy, and really focused on what I wanted, not the sale. THANK YOU! PS They were also awesome with my nephew! My sister flew in from out of state and some bridal shops wouldn't give me the time of day because I brought an infant with us (no matter how well behaved he was) and the fact that they included him and actually enjoyed having him around, that was huge.

I was completely overwhelmed with bridal dress shopping. After spending hours online looking through so many dresses and not deciding on anything, I decided to go to Whittington to get some help. I walked in feeling so anxious and overwhelmed, but Angela made me feel so welcome and talked with me to get an idea of the style I was looking for. She found a set of dresses for me to try on. Each one she picked screamed my style, so I grew less and less anxious! After narrowing down the small details that I liked in each dress I tried on, she was able to find the dress that was made for me. She was so incredibly patient and understanding during the entire process. Whittington Bridal was the ONLY bridal shop I visited. Considering the stress of planning a wedding, I’m so happy that this was the shop that made the process less stressful. This was my 3rd time trying on dresses. I had a 4th appointment at another boutique and I cancelled!! Whittington Bridal is highly recommended. When I first walked in, I was greeted by two lovely ladies as they stood up. Then my stylist, Chloe, introduced herself and asked about the wedding then offered me a mimosa. She had me pick out 4 dresses to try on to get an idea of what I liked. Then she brought in more options of similar dresses. I ended up falling in love with one of the dresses that she picked out. She was attentive to me and only me. She made me top priority. Then she had me try on accessories with the dress and that is when I said yes and we did a Champagne toast! Chloe was sooo sweet and kind. She made me feel like I was shopping with my best friend. They have a huge variety of designers, styles, and dresses to choose from, and they have a "wishlist" feature on their website, which made pre-selecting dresses to try on an easy process. I live in Austin and drove 3 hours specifically just to try on a Eva Lendel gown I fell in love with and Kayla had it transferred in store for me to try on. You’re able to preview their selection online and create a wishlist, which I highly recommend doing so you can save some time and helps your stylist understand your preferences.The entire boutique is stunning and you’re immediately greeted with mimosas. Kayla took such great care of me throughout the whole process. She carefully helped me get into every dress and when I found the one (the Eva Lendel dress I loved and transferred in) she immediately brought champagne to toast! My experience at Whittington was more than I could have imagined. As someone who is very self conscious I thought this was going to be the hardest thing ever, the Whittington proved me wrong. From the moment that I walked in everyone was so nice and helpful. My stylist jordan was on time and extremely knowledgeable! I had a very specific idea in mind and she got it right! I was having trouble finding dresses that I could see as the one at first and she helped me settle in. She asked questions, brought ideas, and even asked if I had any pictures to help. As a plus size bride I find it harder for me to try things in in store, especially things with sleeves because most are just sample sizes. Nina agreed that it sounded like I found my dress, and handled the whole situation very professionally and gracefully 💗 My only critique about the store is that I wish there had been more plus size samples available to try. Delightful staff. Had a single dedicated assistant, but others available to jump in with an answer or help. Loved the mimosas and water as we enjoyed our bride-to-be fashion show. Beautiful stage with a lift for the bride to stand on, surrounded by mirrors to catch every view. We were all able to line up on the couches and chairs to comfortably enjoy the "show.". This is not just a bridal shop, it's a bridal EXPERIENCE. Highly recommend this place.

I personally use reviews to find great vendors, restaurants, and more so I feel compelled to write one for my experience with this bridal salon so others can know what to expect! Whittington was my first and last stop to look for a dress for my November 2019 wedding! As a curvy girl with hips and a large bust, finding a dress is no easy task for me. I was pleasantly surprised to realize that Whittington had a decent size selection of plus size dresses for me to try on unlike many other bridal salons. The entire experience made me truly for the first time feel like a bride and like a princess! I was whisked away to a rather private stage area and dressing room with my two best friends and we were showered with mimosas to start off. My consultant, Kendell, was absolutely amazing! She took the time to learn about my fiancé and I and to learn about the feel and style of our wedding before we even got started! She was a positive and genuine factor in the whole process. She was honest with me, answered all of my questions, and not once did I feel pressured! She picked dresses well below my budget that were still exactly the style I wanted which allowed me in the end to get a beautiful dramatic veil since my dress was much less than I originally thought it would be. She truly helped me find the dress of my dreams and I felt so beautiful and confident throughout the whole process. I could definitely tell she was being sincere and this experience was everything I have ever hoped for and MORE. In the end, she thoroughly went through the contract with me and reviewed my measurements and size to be sure I was getting what I needed. I am so very excited to walk down the aisle in my dress and marry the man of my dreams in the dress of my dreams!

To get started they let you, or someone in your party, clip about 4 or 5 dresses that you want to try on. Then they start pulling their own picks based on your reactions from the dresses you hand select. At first I was worried about what I would be able to fit in, as I am on the curvy side, but that was not even a problem. Jordan ended up picking my dream dress, and after that it was no contest. She made sure that she stayed in my budget and made sure that I loved the dress I was buying. Wow, where do I even begin?? I had such an amazing experience at Whittington Bridal, starting from the moment we walked in. So much more relaxed and spacious compared to other places I visited previously. We were able to sit down with our consultant (which by the way, Morgan is wonderful!) and talk with her before being able to go "shop" on our own. My mom and I were given about 6 clips to put on the dresses I wanted to try, and it was so nice to be able to look around and not be rushed. I had my own private stage area which was huge! We were offered mimosas which we gladly accepted, and that just added to the relaxing experience. I was able to take my time and eventually ended up saying yes to my dream dress!! I actually had another appointment scheduled at a different bridal salon right after, and I was worried about getting fined for canceling at such late notice. Before I could even start to dial, the ladies at Whittington offered to pay the fine if there was one, and I was so impressed by that (thankfully there was no fine.) They are truly there to help you, and make your shopping experience perfect. We celebrated the occasion with a champagne toast and got to take so many memorable pictures that Morgan was happy to take the for us so we could enjoy the moment. The experience here is ABSOLUTELY amazing! The ladies at the front were so welcoming and really nice. They offered water, and champagne when we got there. They constantly made sure we were okay in finding my dress. I did not feel rushed at all, (other bridal places I felt rushed). I found my perfect dress with Paige and she made me feel as if I was on the show, “Say yes to the dress”. She made me feel so pretty in that dress. If I can keep buying dresses just to get more of the experience, I totally would! You won’t regret coming here!

From start to finish, I cannot praise my experience at Whittington enough. I was strangely nervous about having an unpleasant or stressful experience while trying on dresses, but Whittington Bridal & their staff only made me feel comfortable & beautiful. My initial reaction after I called to make an appointment and spoke to Jordan was, “wow, they are so nice!” The next day I went with my matron of honor and 2 bridesmaids. The salon is beautiful!!! We received a warm welcome on arrival and were ask to wait just a short time because they wanted to give us one of their bigger staged areas and it was being cleaned. The area we were given was huge with comfortable seating and it felt private! They also offered everyone in my group a mimosa! We were given a tour around the salon based on the type of dress I was looking for and was given 4 clips to pick the dresses I wanted to start with. They have a large selection of dresses including plus sizes and all of the dresses are gorgeous!!! Charli was the stylist who helped me find my dream dress. Charli is so sweet! I bought my wedding dress at Whittington Bridal about a week ago and couldn't have been happier with my experience! Britain helped me find the most perfect dress and I'm so happy with it! I arrived a few minutes before my appointment time and was promptly taken to my fitting room area. Britain came in and asked about my style and explained what we had to do to make the most out of my 90 minute appointment. When I was trying on the gowns, she pointed out a few of the ones I had picked were out of my budget and never pushed me to try anything that wasn't close to my price range. She even suggested a few dresses that had deals on them which would lower the price even more. I really appreciated that because I was still treated the same way as someone spending a lot of money on their dress! When I found THE one, they even offered to pay to cancel my second appointment so I could get my dream dress right then! I had an amazing experience here! Two of my cousins found their wedding dresses here so I decided to go here first. It turned out to be the first and only bridal shop i visited! My consultant was Tiffany and she was absolutely amazing. She took the time to get to know me, the type of wedding I'm going for, and what I was looking for in my dress without being overwhelming or pushy. She gave me the perfect amount of "alone time" with a dress which in turn helped me gather my thoughts about each one that I tried on. Due to my beliefs, I was looking for a dress that was modest but not completely covered up. Tiffany offered some great suggestions as to how I can alter my dress in order to meet the requirements that I need to. Overall, my experience was perfec. I have nothing negative to say about Whittington Bridal.

The gowns were gorgeous, the consultants seemed like so much fun, and were even sweet when I reached out to them on social media or email-which made it a no brainer for it to be my first stop. Well, it ended up being my first and ONLY stop. Kendell was my consultant and she made the experience EVERYTHING a bride could dream of (AND MORE). I started the appointment off nervous and ended with joking about adding her to the bridal party. She made me feel like she was a best friend and that I wasn't just a customer. If you want to feel special and not rushed maybe schedule during the week- or a smaller salon. My family’s overall experience was kind of below average. This place has at least 40 ppl in there during our appointment time- with no mask because the county doesn't require it but it is still SO weird. The dress selection was okay. It just was not what I excepted from the great reviews. I will say that it is 100% a budget friendly bridal salon and our sales consultant was super nice.

They had a wonderful system where we toured the store and dress styles they had available, you then were left to pick out your favorites, once finished they bring you Mimosas or water to enjoy before you start to try on the dresses. Morgan was amazing during the appointment; she was personable, attentive, and wanted to get to know myself and my entourage. The dressing rooms are huge which made the experience easy and the stages were great to show off each dress! They do a wonderful job with appointments and keeping get the store not crowded. This was my second time trying on dresses and I had scheduled some other bridal appointments at other salons because I figured I'd be indecisive and have to try on a lot in order to find my perfect dress but I found my dress here, the very first one I tried on and cancelled my other appointments elsewhere. Tiffany wanted me to feel comfortable with my decision so I tried on the other dresses she pulled and compared them to my favorite. She was patient & fun and allowed me to pull like 8 dresses even though it was supposed to start with 6. Going to Whittington bridal was a great experience and I would highly recommend this salon! I was very concerned about going to a salon that could provide different styles for plus size brides. Whittington did not fall short in that department, there were plenty of styles to pick from. Also the layout of that store is well done so that you feel like you have enough space to find dresses, see your self, as well as accommodate your party. You don’t realize how important that is until you start going to different salons. Charli worked with me in finding the perfect dress! I sort of had an idea of what type of dress I thought I wanted but she made sure that I tried on different styles to really solidify my decision which I really really appreciated. Also I really felt like she listened to me and what I wanted compared to other salons that I went too— you would be shocked how pushy some consultants can be! (Whittington bridal was one of 10 salons I went to in the Houston area). She was able to get a loaner dress in a larger size for one particular style I liked and I came back for a second visit with my mother. Charli was amazing yet again! and ultimately we decided to purchase the dress that day. Charli also recommended an excellent seamstress for my wedding dress since I wanted very particular alterations to be made. My wedding is about a month away and I can’t wait to wow my fiancé and everyone in my beautiful dress! Walking into Whittington Bridal, I was overwhelmed with the challenge of finding the perfect dress. When asked what I wanted in my dress, all I knew was that I wanted lace, minimum gems or bling, and some type of sleeve/strap. Unlike other salons that generally are strict on their hour-long appointments and only allow you to try on 4-5 gowns, here I ended up staying for over two hours while my sales consultant, Madison (who is wonderful!) kept finding dresses for me to try on based on my feedback on dresses I was trying on. I called Whittington about a week out from when I wanted to schedule an appointment on a Thursday morning. Right away, I received a confirmation email with very helpful information and was even asked to provide them with my Pinterest link so they could get a better feel for what I was looking for before I arrived. From the moment I entered the store, they all made me feel so comfortable and at ease! My consultant Morgan was so sweet and great at answering any questions my family and I had. I tried on at least 10 different dresses, including one that Morgan picked for me. I was there for about two hours and the whole time, there was only one other bride being tended to. We each had our own wing of the store with a separate "stage" and dressing room. They have a great selection of beautiful, affordable dresses - so great that I cancelled my appointment later that afternoon at another store and made my purchase that day (giving me 15% off my dress). They also provided very helpful information for next steps and referrals for alterations, etc. I live about 40 minutes from Whittington in The Heights, but highly recommend making the drive to visit them!

I went to 4 boutiques in total, and none of them gave me the initial impression that Whittington Bridal did. First, the boutique is beautiful, clean, well-organized, and spacious. Second, I was lucky to have Chloe as the stylist assigned to me. From start to finish, she gave me honest advice about everything from pricing to availability to scheduling to how I looked in the dress. Chloe not only thoroughly explained the entire ordering process and upcoming alterations (never making us feel rushed or hurried at all), but she also was 100% on top of everything from an organizational standpoint. I went from feeling super confused about the whole process to knowing exactly what was going to happen and when. Overall, I highly highly recommend this boutique to everyone. Everything about the experience was positive, and they really make the effort to make the day special for you (including a champagne toast!). Huge shoutout to Chloe :)

This was the 6th bridal salon that I had been to in search for my dream dress and I was blown away!!!! First off, we were greeted with mimosas on arrival (great way to start the appointment!) Jordan was the first consultant I've shopped with to actually take the time to ask me about myself, my fiance and my wedding. She genuinely cared about my story and I walked out of there feeling like I had made a new friend. The other shops I had been to discouraged me from trying on dresses that I liked but were to small for me. Jordan encouraged me to try on whatever I wanted and she took the time to help me picture what it would look like in my size. My dream dress turned out to be one that other places told me I could not fit into to try on! I can't thank Jordan and the staff enough for making me feel so special and so beautiful throughout the whole experience. I was so afraid to try on wedding dresses. Being plus size I avoid white at all costs. I didn't think I would find a dress that made me feel pretty. I was so blessed to get Morgan as my consultant. She was so nice and made me feel so comfortable. You could tell she really cared and her excitement was contagious! After trying on a few gowns she told me she had a curve ball and to trust her. My shopping experience at Whittington Bridal was PERFECT!. My consultant was Leah. I contacted them for a specific dress by Justin Alexander I was interested in, after discovering they were having a trunk show on his dresses the weekend of June 5th & 6th. To my amazement it was on his Fall 2015 dresses and the dress I was interested in would be part of the trunk show. I was able to schedule an appointment for that Friday; I called on Wednesday. When I arrived at the store, Leah approached my friend and me to welcome us to the store. She was very friendly, professional and informative. She gave me and my friend her undivided attention throughout my visit. After finding my perfect dress (the one I was originally interested in) she found the perfect accessories that accentuated the dress and me. After all was put together, a couple of glasses of champagne was given to me and my friend to toast the perfect purchase. I would highly recommend this bridal shop to any future brides looking for that perfect dress and undivided attention while doing so.

I been looking at Whittington Brodal for a long time - even before I got I engaged, I just knew I was going find my dress there. I followed them on Instagram and just loved the whole vibe. Angela and Jordan were my usually favorites to watch so I was so happy I got Angela for my stylist! She was so patience with me. Hyping me up in a dress and making me feel beautiful. I never felt rushed and I felt like all of them could have been my friends! In the end I picked a dressed Angela picked for me and I still am in awe over it! I came in with my Mom and my sister on a Friday afternoon. Charli and another host were super friendly and inviting, asking if I had pictures of gowns to get them started. I was able to pick 5 gowns that I wanted to start the appointment off trying and they let me try and talk about them and how I felt in them. Little did I know, they brought in the gown that I showed them a picture of and I fell in love. Of course, this is one of the most important decisions in my wedding planning so I felt anxious about pulling the trigger. They let me stay in the dress for 30-45 minutes while I facetimed my best friends to get their opinion and talk with my mom and sister about the decision. Without feeling any pressure, I told them they could ask the question. AND they let my crazy crew come in the next day to see the gorgeous gown and try on bridesmaid dresses.

This is a long story but I just had to share my experience with Whittington Bridal for all those Brides looking for their dream dress. For starters, you will love this store from the moment you walk in the door and everyone will make you feel welcome. Everything in this door is clean, neat, organized and very modern. If you want a personal and/or an experience where you don’t feel like someone is being pushy or trying to just get a sale out of you then THIS IS YOUR STORE. Back in June/July 2018 I scheduled an appointment with my stepdaughter on a Saturday with Tiffany literally last minute. Little did I know that there was a Trunkshow going on that very day and to be honest I had no idea what a trunkshow was prior to my visit. I tried on several dresses and ended up falling in love with a dress from the trunkshow line. But I was told since it was a TESTER Dress and that I had to buy the dress that day or wait until Spring 2019 for them to release the dress. I was being silly and didn’t want to say YES TO THE DRESS without my mother by my side. I didn’t get the dress and regretted it from the moment I left the store. I spent two weeks shopping around and finally booked another appointment with Tiffany to try on a few more dresses. At the beginning of my appointment I told Tiffany that I was still in love with the dress from the Stella York Trunkshow and said I’ll just have to settle for something else. Well little did I know she told her manager about my situation behind my back while I tried on other dresses and she called the Stella York Rep about the dress. Well at the end of my appointment they had some great news and said their Stella York Rep remembered me tearing up in the dress with my stepdaughter at my first appointment. She said she was going to find a way and get me that dress from the Trunkshow and for the price it was during the Trunk show. I still can’t believe they were able to get me my dress. Tiffany and the Whittington staff had me in tears when they told me I was going to get my dream dress. I can’t thank Tiffany and her manager enough for their kindness, patience and overall customer service experience. I never felt for a minute it was about them selling me a dress or pressure. She really paid attention to details, listened to my opinion and made the experience about me which was very personal.

This was one of the best experiences!! From the time we got there till the time we left everyone was so nice and helpful. We arrived early (from excitement and not wanting to be late!) and they started almost right away without us having to wait long at all. It started with Jordan, my AMAZING consultant, sitting down with me and getting an idea of what I was looking for and what my budget was. She stated if she noticed me wanting to try on something out of my price range she would let me know before I tried it on and fell in love with it-very respectable I must say. The whole process was magical. I was helped and guided without having someone hovering over me during the process. I got to enjoy it with my family and friends without feeling like I was being rushed. I did find my dress that day and they let me take in the moment while I sat in my dress (I didn't want to take it off!), not pushing me out the door. I don't even know where to begin with this review: I went to a few different appointments before arriving at Whittington. I found Whittington in my search for a particular designer. Months before my appointment I had called Whittington to discuss this designer. Whittington stylist Madison answered the phone. She spoke with me for nearly an hour, talking through their dress selections, my wedding ideas, and the special hat I had just bought on a trip to Scotland that I hoped to wear that day. Months later I come into my appointment and who meets me with a hug, a smile and a demand to see my Scottish hat? Madison! After a weekend of uptight stylists and pushy managers, Madison immediately made my family feel like part of the Whittington family. She treated my mom and MOH with respect and warmth and made sure they knew that SHE knew how important their role in this day was. She was the stylist voice I needed. She gave sight, specificity and power to the vision that was blurry in my head. She put me in a silhouette that I kept waffling on to prove that I would look beautiful in it and that moment was when I realized that that wasn't the style I wanted. Madison grabbed a dress that had been on my original list from months ago, even though I had forgotten about it. The dress was in a silhouette I had completely forgotten to even try on and she brought it in as a wild card. I'm not an overly emotional person. I knew I was NOT going to have that "it's the one" moment. But I put that dress on and I knew...I KNEW. I walked outside, stood on that platform and looked in the mirror. My mom cried, my MOH cried and I said yes to that dress. I know 100% that I would not have found my dress if it weren't for Madison and Whittington Bridal. If you're only going to go to one store to look for your dream dress THIS is it, this is the store.

Whittington was my 3rd bridal salon to visit. First off the salon is gorgeous, really sets the mood. We were greeted by Charli who was an absolute delight to work with (my MOH who was FaceTiming in said she was the MVP). We were offered mimosas when we arrived which was an awesome touch (I’m not normally a mimosa fan but these were tasty). Charli let us all look and pick dresses and then we started the fun part trying them on! Charli was very professional and got me in and out of the dresses quickly. She seemed genuinely interested in me and my story. She went above and beyond to help me visualize what one dress would look like in white. I have to make a lot of decisions at work so I hate making them when I’m off, but Charli was very encouraging telling me I was doing great with making decisions about what I liked and didn’t like. When I picked my dress they brought out a champagne toast for everyone, and were thoughtful enough to put water in my friend, who had to return to work, glass so she could still participate. After the fact I found out they were Aggie owned and operated which was an added bonus for this proud Aggie! Whoop! Also, you get a 15% discount if you buy on your first visit which saved me some $$!

I was driving around looking at other bridal salons and I had some tell me I was too big for their dresses and didn't want to help me ( I am only a size 12), then I had another salon tell me to go to the gym then come back and order my dress AFTER she squeezed me into a size 4. So I got in the car sad, heartbroken, and depressed. But when I plugged in wedding dress shops in my google maps this store came up. My mother and I decided to try it out and see what they had to offer. When I first walked in they were very nice and helpful, but sadly they told me I could only look today and set up an appointment if I found something I liked. Well my mother and I looked around for an hour or so when my mother noticed I kept going back to the same dress. She told me to go ahead and make an appointment. I was sad I couldn't try it on then it was so perfect. Well the owner noticed my attachment to this dress and told me to go ahead and lets have some fun. We tried my favorite dress on first and I loved it, but of course I tried others on as well. However, nothing compared. I BOUGHT THE DRESS THAT DAY! and I COULD BE HAPPIER WITH IT. It gets delivered mid december and I am SOOOOO ready. Whittington Bridal turned a horrible dress experience from other places into the best ever.

Whittington bridal was very kind and helpful when it came to the purchase of my wedding dress, but unfortunately I can’t recommend them for purchasing your wedding accessories. I realized that I didn’t need one of the three accessories I purchased and attempted to return it less than 24 hours after I purchased it, and I was told over the phone that they do not accept returns from accessories (I was not given this information at the time of purchase). I think that it is important for a company to stand behind their products, and a return in less than 24 hours after purchase is not an unreasonable request. I would have been happy with a store credit, but I wasn't even offered that.

This place is ok, first they put pressure on you by telling you that if you buy the dress the same day you get a 10% discount, only to find out later that they mark up their prices so you end up paying the same anyways. Second, I wish they would have been honest to me when I asked them about alterations, I tried on this dress ( that I ended up buying) I loved the dress but I told them I would make some changes ...I asked them is it possible? I don't know about wedding dresses and you assume they do, they said yes, you can do ANYTHING" We work with the best tailors" blah blah blah... Don't believe that, I went to get my alterations done yesterday and the lady said is not possible. I wish they would just say I'm not sure, or lets find out before you buy it". Very disappointed!

I am a 2nd time bride AND wedding planner! I am also VERY short & get mistaken for a teenager often (4’10). I have been VERY overwhelmed by the whole dress process however! JORDAN was AMAZING! She could tell I was close to the one & had me & my crew close our eyes put a veil & gave me a bouquet & the crowd went wild WITH TEARS. I picked a beautiful dress today that hit ALLLL of the marks! My designer ALSO offers the dress 3inched shorter !!!! Jordan was fantastic & her shadow Nayeli was superbly sweet as well! As a vendor in the industry i will forever recommend my brides here ! Thank you so much Jordan! You did that girl ! This was a bridal experience I will forever treasure !
