I found my wedding dress here today! They had a great selection of sizes and prices. I felt very comfortable here and the area for brides to try on dresses was relaxing and beautiful. The attendant was helpful and checked in after every dress-- but was not TOO helpful aka pressuring me. It was a positive experience and I'm so glad to have found my dress :)

I would definitely recommend making an appointment if you’re going on the weekend. We went on a Saturday and it was really busy. I’ve been in quite a few weddings and bridal consultants at a Jenna in white or a David’s bridal are with you the entire time, but this is not the case of second dance. I liked being able to have my sisters help me try on dresses and I did not feel pressure by a bridal consultant. They were there is I needed help or had any questions, but weren’t in my face like I’ve experienced at other places. The store itself is absolutely beautiful! So trendy and every wall and room has something gorgeous to look at. I loved the selection of dresses I got to try on! 11/10 experience! :)

Absolutely wonderful experience! The ladies that work there were beyond lovely, and made my shopping experience very fun! It still all feels like a dream, and their prices are very reasonable. HIGHLY recommend❤️

Very first place I tried out when dress shopping and i’d highly recommend everyone to start out here before going to a store where dresses cost thousands and thousands of dollars! When I went to a regular bridal shop to try on dresses afterwards all I could think about was how they all looked the same to the ones I tried on at second dance but were thousands of dollars more! Ended up going back to second dance after my last bridal appointment of the day and buying my dream dress! The attendants were very helpful in making decisions but didn’t push me which I really appreciated! And a very cute trendy shop! I will be recommending this shop to anyone I know getting married! My experience yesterday finding a dress was amazing! Jess worked very hard to find something I would love, she gave me a lot of tips that led to me finding “The One”. She asked me what I wanted! Really listened to me. The place was so cute and I would recommend making an appointment it gets busy! I would recommend going here the staff is amazing! 11/10 recommend and ask for Jess!

I am beyond pleased with my experience at Second Dance! Not only was the woman helping us kind, but she did such a lovely job with assisting us in choosing the style I wanted, and was able to accurately guess my size to make things easier for us. This was my first and only stop for my dress because I was able to find MULTIPLE dresses that fit my exact needs and in my size. I picked my dream dress and I won’t even need alterations. This place is affordable and has so many gorgeous dresses to choose from!

This shop is absolutely amazing!!! There are tons of beautiful gowns, both new, and used for sale. It’s the best way I have found to get the highest quality garment available at an affordable price!! It’s also rewarding to know that when I shop here, I am not only helping out local economy, but also the world as a whole by doing my share to help garments from taking over our landfills!! I always stop here before any major event, and the owner always always me to try on way more dresses than is probably necessary!! I found my perfect wedding dress here at a fraction of the prices of the big bridal stores. I didn't feel rushed. The owner Stephanie was my consultant and she was fantastic, especially considering that I had no idea what I wanted upon walking in the doors. So much selection of quality gowns to chose from too.

I SAID YES TO THE DRESS!! After trying in 15-20 dresses at David’s bridal it was nice to walk into a space with confidence knowing what I was hoping for.. and they didn’t disappoint!! Staff was friendly, dog adorable and enough room for my giant family to comfortably enjoy the experience together. Will recommend 🥰💖

This place is a DREAM! I had a strange gut feeling before walking into Second Dance that i was going to find my wedding dress and i sure did!!!! They have SO MANY DRESSES for super affordable prices. My wedding dress was brand new and still had the tags on. It’s a designer dress and we got it for $800! The atmosphere is cozy and fun. I feel so bad i don’t remember the employees name but she’s really thin and pretty, she’s often featured on Second Dance’s Instagram page. She was super sweet and helpful! We will probably come bag to find a dress for my mom! I would definitely recommend second dance to any bride.

While they have amazing dresses for such great prices and a really nice area to look at your dress of choosing I was quite disappointed in the service of having a consultant. I booked an appointment and specifically stated I wanted a consultant to help me get in and out of dresses so my family didn't have to do that and could instead just look at me in the dress and help me decide. While I completely understand business' are short staffed and it is a busy time with homecoming happening for local high-school, I paid for an appointment, drove from out of town (2.5 hours away) and had to rely on my family to help me get in and out of dresses, holding back the dress when too big and it made the expierence a bit lack luster. I did find a dress I fell in love with and purchased before going home, but I would caution other brides to know to just drop in instead because the extra service with booking an appointment may or may not happen.

A little over a month before my daughter’s wedding, I found out the dress I ordered in April was not going to make it to the US. I frantically called around and found Second Dance Bridal. I was able to easily make an appointment for the next day. I couldn’t believe that my daughter and I found three dresses we loved. I am so grateful we have a gem like this in Grand Rapids!

Went in for my appointment and it was my first time trying on dresses. My first consultant seemed very stressed and very busy as they are also doing prom. I had asked for full assistance when I booked online as you are able to request this however they were very busy so that didnt end up happening. My party had to tell her quite a few times that I needed assistance. I didnt receive help with getting my dresses clipped either so I felt unsure about the dresses as I felt none of them looked right. However they switched consultants out halfway through my appointment and I got a wonderful consultant Jessie I think. She was absolutely wonderful and made me feel great about myself. She pulled things that I liked and even clipped up my dresses so I could see what it actually looked like. She also helped guide my party when they were pulling dresses for me! She was so happy and helpful she made the experience much better and helped me find my dress! I give her 10/10! :D

Found my perfect wedding dress at Second Dance! Had such a great and relaxed experience looking as well as trying on. Would highly recommend especially if you don’t want to spend thousands of dollars on a dress you will only wear for a few hours.

Love what they do! Bought a Mori Lee gown online during their sale last week and it was a FRACTION of what I would of paid. Not to mention it helps reduce waste not buying a brand new gown! Stephanie's advice is spot-on, and you should try on anything she brings you. I'll definitely be back next time I need formalwear and I super recommend it to anyone dress shopping.

This was the very first store I went to for prom dresses...and I bought my dream dress!! Prom dresses or really any formal wear are outside of my comfort zone, but this store and the workers were amazing. Right off the bat this store has my heart because it is a second-hand store, I love any shop that supports sustainability. The great part about this cute little shop is that you wouldn't guess it was second-hand, everything looked brand new. I really appreciate the cleanliness and the modern and aesthetic layout of the shop, it made me feel very comfortable. In the past, when shopping for dresses I have struggled with finding dresses that are my size. If I do happen to find a dress that's my size I usually can only find it in one or two styles. Not this place! This shop had sizes from 00 all the way into the twenties with a wide variety of styles in each size and they were separated by price range. As an added bonus they had a very helpful seamstress on-site, which made the general stress of dress shopping much more manageable. Overall this shop checked a lot of boxes for me and if I will definitely be going back there. I would 100% recommend this shop to anyone looking for prom, homecoming, or bridal dresses! Thank you, Second Dance!!!

Was able to find a great dress for an affordable price but was overall underwhelmed by the service. It was slow to try on dresses since we were initially told only the people working there could pull dresses and I did not have a dedicated consultant. I'm hoping it was just a case of being short staffed due to prom season. When someone did stop by, they were very helpful and offering suggestions for alterations and there were lots of dress to choose from which was nice. But I was also put off with the seamstress when I asked if a dress was available in a different size and was told slightly rudely "no, we're a boutique and don't do that" without bothering to check then later found out they did have the dress in the other size from someone else. Overall was just hoping for something a little more special but am happy with the dress I walked away with.

I cannot recommend Second Dance enough. Jessica was able to work with my crazy schedule and made room for us on a Sunday. As I work two jobs it's hard to find a time for things like wedding dress shopping. Stephanie was also super helpful she picked up on what I liked and what I didn't and gave her honest opinion when I asked. She worked with my budget and was so friendly It was truly a wonderful experience. I cannot thank you guys enough!

ALL THE STARS! (Shopped on 1/15/22) I walked in a very nervous and apprehensive shopper - my first bridal dress experience had me overwhelmed and almost in tears in the dressing room. Stephanie and Jessie walked the perfect balance of offering help and suggestions while giving me plenty of space and time to peruse dresses and try them on. I felt so at ease, no pressure, no stress - they said I could take as much time as I wanted. My mom, sister, and niece all went, and they even were totally fine with my niece trying on dresses . We made memories to last a lifetime... oh, and walked out with the most perfect dress. On a practical note, their selection was incredible - a wide variety for brides of every size. She said I could consign my dress after the wedding, but I love it too much and won't be able to do that. :) THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!

What a breath of fresh air after a bad experience at a chain bridal shop! We called and asked if we could walk in and they said yes! We loved it there! The ladies were helpful and also gave us space to do our own thing too. My daughter found her dress ( a new one with tags)AND veil for the amazing price of under 300! I found my dress within 10 minutes of being there. They had a very good selection for all sizes in the store specially for sizes 6 and above. It was a super cute store and wasn’t overly crowded or too much. There was a decently good selection for prom dresses.

They were super busy when we went and under staffed. The owner we could tell was super stressed and was helping another bride whose family had a ton of rude remarks to say about my family and my body and what I was trying on. Which colored my whole view of my experience. I didn’t know that staff members were specially assigned to people however the girl that was helping me was super nice. But even though I asked for help, my mom got stuck helping me into each dress instead of having a staff person help me. I ended up buying my dress and vail from here but I really wish I had a better experience. It felt like it was ruined and it could’ve been better if there was more privacy between bridal parties and more attention from staff.

I found my perfect dress here last Saturday. Jackie stayed a half hour after closing to make sure I found the perfect one. The store is super organized, clean, and beautiful. My dress was $500 which is so affordable compared to full priced shops. I drove 3 hours to come here and it was definitely worth the drive! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a wedding dress! My MOH also found her dress here for under $100 which is awesome!

Had a great selection and pricing was better than any other store I looked! I really enjoyed being able to look online and already have an idea of what dresses I’d like to try on! But keep in mind, wedding dress sizes suck and never are consistent with actual size. So that was the only downside. Other than that, found my dress and also my mother in-law and sister in-laws dresses as well!
