I can never find shoes in my size let alone demonias when going to a store in person but just before I was getting ready to check out I saw some. I love them they fit perfectly and the associate who helped me was great. 10/10 would recommend.

Mood rings! Costumes!! Great place!!! They have wigs for days, lots of accessories and friendly people. I went here twice over the Halloween holidays and we all got a sweet suite of wigs for the party. There’s a downstairs area with vintage outfits to rent, too. Dressing up and getting weird makes Jack a fun boy.

So my 14 year old daughter is a size 13 in women and it is very hard to find shoes for her. Her father just passed away on June 3rd 2021 and everyone but my daughter had something to wear. It took us 2 weeks to finally find something. From looking all over store to store in Seattle to finding exactly what she wanted to go with her dress in Chicago. After feeling discouraged we are excited especially cause it happend on her birthday. Everyone was friendly and we experienced excellent customer service. We even found other cool things as we were checking out. She keeps saying "Mom I love my shoes". Her being comfortable and happy means everything to me and her father ❤

There's no other place quite like it. At times service can be a little slow because of this. Great place for cheap sun glasses and amazing heels. It's a good combination of costume elements for Queens, sex toys and strange accessories. I always stop by if I'm passing, even if the staff is a bit distracted at times.

Had the COOLEST person assist me with picking out boots and getting body jewelry. She said she assists in picking out the Demonia boots which are all amazing and comfortable for a good price, she was so sweet I tipped her 5$. She seemed to know a lot about the boots and was very conversational about them which I enjoyed. Definitely will come here again next time I am in Chicago.

I loved this store so much. I wasn't able to check out the lower level but id love to return soon. I found these awesome boots and wasn't able to purchase because they weren't priced yet but the gentlemen working made sure to get my phone number and called me with a price the very next day. im so happy I got my boots I fell in love with.

Waited for a long time to get help at the makeup counter, they said my order would be at checkout, waited another 20 mins to get through the checkout line and then they couldn't find the stuff I had just picked out and didn't have anything similar to replace it with. Hectic day for them, but I waited a long time and then left without the main things I had gone there for because they lost them

This is a must-visit shop every time I go to Chicago, which is annually. Its full of amazing clothes and accessories (new and vintage) for some the stuff of fantasy and imagination, for others the lifeblood of fun and colourful dressing. Downstairs is a treasure trove of vintage (you need escorted, which is fine) Upstairs from shoes (old and new, including boots designed for drag queens I'm sure) through wigs, furs, costumes and wild funky clothes this is a paradise for the people who want to dress up, and its not expensive at all. Never had any problem with the staff - always found them attentive - check your bag when you arrive. Great place - makes me smile every time I visit (every year for 10 years now) and I always come away with something for a great occasion. #Beatnix

My partner and I were out hitting the town on 9/2/14, celebrating 10 years of dating, and the next day we had planned to elope. Earlier in the day we'd been shopping most of the afternoon trying to find affordable getups for our wedding, as well as rings, with no luck. We were a little bummed to say the least. As we were headed home from the bars, we stumbled across this place a few minutes before midnight. What caught our eyes were the rings on display, so we tried some on and the employee was very helpful getting the right sizes for us. She asked if we needed anything else, and we jokingly asked if they had dress shirts. She took us to the basement, and we were amazed they had anything like that, let alone the huge and well organized selection of pretty awesome stuff! Another employee took our measurements, and helped us pick out jackets. All told, we got jackets, bow ties, dress shirts, some nice jeans, and rings for a tiny fraction of what we would have paid at the mall. They stayed open a little late just to help us out and wishing us well. We were blown away! Thanks so much for all the help, Beatnix! You gave our special day a pretty awesome story to tell!

This place has everything if you're looking for drag material. I found everything for $30 or less, which makes it super easy on my pocket. Not only that, but their line of clothes and attire is awesome. Customer service was decent, but they'll definitely help if you need it.

Great cheap awesome kitchy stuff. I got the best sunglasses and plaid pants there. $8 and $30. One star off because the staff watches you WAY too closely and makes you feel uncomfortable. Had a bitchy sales girl with an attitude, no thanks!

This is a one of a kind bohemian used and new wild fashions of clothes, costumes, politically incorrect cards and trinkets, wigs, makeup, costume and playful jewelry, shoes including high heels for men, swimsuits, harnesses, multicolored suspenders, tux accents, etc where outragious is accepted and embraced. Prices are actually very low on cool stuff to embellish your attire any festive occasion from pride to birthdays to gogo boy to drag queen. It's always tempting and fun to peek at the merchandise. The store front windows are always a sight to be seen and clearly they have fun making every window display outrageous and eye catching. This store is an historic treasure of Boystown (Lakeview) at the busy popular bar intersection of Roscoe and Halstead streets. Staff are wonderful and really support helping you find what you might like. Great place to visit.

Beatnix is a Great little Neighborhood Store in Boystown right Across the street from Roscoe's Bar & Dance Nightclub. They Have Nice, Funky Type items that lets you know that It's alright to be different. I Always find something that I like in Beatnix every time I shop there.

looooooovvvvvvveeeeee this store!!!!! it's like toyrus for the grown and sexy and outragious in a good way of course lmao. i'm always a regular in boystown despite me stayin in the south burbs. i usually come down here during the summer when pride and market days take place. the displays caught my eyes and in it, it's like a whole new world of chock full of wigs, shoes, different costumes as well as other things not for the fainted heart. this is my go-to store whenever i have some money to my name. sometimes the co-workers r busy wit whatever but most of the time, they answer questions and help u out when needed. can't wait to go back for my pride needs and beyond. check this place out everybody!!!!!!!!!!!

This is a fantastic costume shop with a mix of vintage (in the basement, must ask and be escorted) to off the shelf, plus they have everything to outfit you for your event from shoes, to make up & wigs to accessories. I have purchased many things here over the years, most recently this past weekend when Dylan was awesome in helping me select options for a 1970s party. He is so creative (and I later learned that he is responsible for their window displays!) and brought me lots of options from high-waisted denim bellbottoms to a Stevie Nicks inspired getup (which i left with!)
