10/10 recommend going to Hinterland to find your dream wedding dress! Everything about them is wonderful, from the quality and beauty of dresses to the aesthetic of the boutique. The entire experience including online appointment scheduling and the actual appointment trying dresses on was so easy. The appointment was intimate and so fun! While they do have a smaller quantity of dresses given they are a small boutique, they did not disappoint in quality and definitely had ample options for all styles. I loved every dress I put on and I never felt pressured to make a purchase at the first appointment. Zari and Chelsea were so helpful through the entire process, incredibly knowledgeable, and very welcoming to their boutique. I found my dream wedding dress at Hinterland and cannot wait for wedding day!

It was exactly what I was NOT expecting but Chelsea was such a pro and found options that she knew would be perfect. She's such a great hype woman too! I had the most wonderful experience at Hinterland! I came in with a general idea of what I wanted and Chelsea totally helped that vision come to life. I fell in love with the first dress she had me try on and while all the other gowns after were truly spectacular, I knew this one was my dress. After I bought it, I had some questions about sizing and customizations, and Zari was so responsive and helpful in getting those changes organized and measured. Throughout the process, I felt so comfortable and had so much fun! I am beyond excited to get married in this gown this summer and feel forever grateful to Hinterland! Can’t recommend enough!

Sad 'yes' to the dress today and can't speak highly enough! I worked with Chelsea in person, and communicated with Zari over email, and both were so wonderful to work with! Chelsea has a very chill and calming presence, which is perfect for someone like myself who is a type-A, chronic over-thinker. Not to mention, she is also incredibly patient! My family is out of state so I chose to go dress shopping by myself, and 10/10 recommend. Chelsea made the process so fun and gave very sound advice!

My experience at Hinterland was amazing! As a young bride, I was very nervous and intimidated by the whole process but Zari and Chelsea were great and really walked me through it all. The space itself was gorgeous and since we were the only group in there, it was very intimate. I’m also super indecisive but they kept me on track and I ended up walking away having picked “the one” at my very first appointment! I had such an amazing experience at Hinterland! I was really nervous to try dresses on but Zari made it super comfortable and welcoming there. We had the best morning ever! I brought along my sisters and my mom and they all had wonderful things to say about Zari as well! I was worried I wouldn't find my dress but with their wide selection of choices, I knew the minute I put mine on that I wanted it! The dresses they have to choose from are unique but yet classic at the same time. I just ordered my dress 2 days ago and I still have not stopped thinking about it! I am so so happy I went to Hinterland. Before going there I thought I found my dress (I tried it on at home through a try on service) but I was so so wrong. Zari was so helpful through the entire process and helped me see what worked for my wedding and my body! I went back for a second appointment with Chelsea, who was also wonderful and really sweet! I was bummed that Zari wasn't there but grateful to have her help in our initial visit! I will be encouraging every bride to go to them in the future! :)

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zari and her team! The selection of dresses at Hinterland is incredibly well curated (they’re all stunning) with the perfect amount of variety in styles and designers. The hardest part was picking just one gorgeous dress, but Zari, Maya, and Charlotte were so helpful in narrowing it down to the perfect and final choice for me! They took the time to ask questions about my partner, our story, our wedding plans etc. and it made the process that much more personal and genuine. I really loved my experience at Hinterland Bride! I've never written a Google Review before but Zari and Chelsea are just the BEST and the space they've put together is truly lovely. They have a gorgeous collection and have clearly put so much thought and energy into the experience they provide. I was pretty skeptical about a "traditional" wedding dress and had been to a couple shops before but wasn't feeling particularly excited about any of my options. I made an appointment at Hinterland during a trip to Burlington and am so glad I did. We had the shop to ourselves, Zari and Chelsea made me so comfortable and the experience so fun, and I left (1) excited to wear a wedding dress, (2) having purchased a wedding dress, (3) eager to recommend Hinterland to friends near and far, and (4) wanting to come back to Burlington just to hang out at Hinterland again. This place is amazing! It has a beautiful selection of dresses. I was visiting my family in Vermont and made an appointment. I wasn't expecting to find a dress right away, but every dress I tried on was gorgeous! Zari and Chels were extremely helpful and made the whole experience fun and relaxed. I am not a bride but hear me out! I came to Hinterland with my best friend who *is* a bride. I got to see firsthand how Zari and Chelsey made her feel like the confident, elegant, and enchantingly beautiful bride I've always known she will be. They spent time getting to know my friend to understand how she'd like to feel on her wedding day to choose multiple dresses that she loved (and The One that she extra loved!) I was nervous to accompany my friend as I know truly nothing about fashion so I was relieved that the environment felt supportive and encouraging but with the much needed added knowledge about style. The dress options and folks themselves should be reason enough to go to Hinterland, but if you need more reasons, the space is gorgeous-- calming and beautiful with none of the stuffy pomp we were worried about. It was a really fun morning! When and if I get engaged, I know where I am going shopping.

The space for starters is incredible, it’s private and intimate, which is how it should be. I had changed my mind on my original dress (purchased from another store). The space is a dream, and having the whole loft for your appointment allows for such a magical time for everyone involved. Can't say enough good things about my experience at Hinterland Bride! I had been to a few other shops to try on dresses before making my first appointment at Hinterland. When I walked in the door, I was met with a warm welcome from Zari and Chelsea, and was immediately blown away by the beautiful, intimate space. There are a variety of dress styles and just enough options that you won't feel limited or overwhelmed. When I was ready to say yes to the dress, Zari walked me through all the details. From start to finish, the experience was calm, fun, and felt truly special. Hinterland was amazing! Wedding dress shopping can be really overwhelming and from the minute I walked in I felt comfortable. Beautiful space and beautiful dresses (brick and exposed wooden beams), but what really made it special was the folks who work there. Zari (the owner) was an excellent listener, clearly knew her products and her inventory like the back of her hand, and best of all wasn't pushy in the slightest. She was also an expert at pinning and clipping the sample dresses to get them to look like they were made for me. I felt welcomed and respected. 1,000% would recommend.

It’s such a beautifully curated shop with dresses for every type of bride: from fancy fairytale weddings to the prettiest elopement. Zari and Chelsea were absolutely amazing and helped me pick dresses perfect for my personality and wedding vibe. Couldn't have made my very first wedding appointment more seamless or successful! I ended up buying the first dress I fell in love with when I first walked into the shop, as well as a delicate hair vine that pulled the whole look together. Highly, highly recommend!
