My daughter and I showed up to this store after many shops turning down my daughters unusual request for a non conventional colored wedding dress. The owner took on the challenge with such enthusiasm and spent quality time listening to my daughter and what she wanted in a dress. The owner was able to put my daughter in 1 dress and it was sold! The attention to details and the ability to truly understand the brides wishes was beyond our expectations! After helping many brides and my own wedding this is the best experience I have ever seen! I’d give this store 10 stars if I could.

I purchase my wedding dress from oraindas and I absolutely loved the entire experience. The two ladies that help me made the experience so wonderful. The positive and loving atmosphere was very comforting. When I arrived, I was asked what I was looking for in a dress and I described what I was looking for and surprisingly enough I said yes to the first dress - the advisor’s first choice! I couldn’t believe how she was able to hone in on my details and hit the mark with a beautiful dress choice. Thank you so much to ordainas for my first wedding dress shopping experience.

After going to 2 other dress shops earlier in the same day, I found my dress here! Orainda stocks the most beautiful dresses and immediately I found a few I was interested in. Orainda helped me try them on and evaluate them based on what I was looking for. She has so many years of experience that help her ask the right questions. As someone who is known to have a hard time making big decisions, I was relieved by her "no pressure" approach paired with her knowledge on how long it takes to order and what alterations might cost. She allowed me the time I needed, answered all my questions, and has a great understanding of the wedding proccess as a whole. This was the dress-buying experience I was looking for. I really can’t imagine trying to go through this process with anyone else. I felt so at home as soon as I met Orainda. She put me in dresses I loved and was so phenomenal when I made my final decision. I was comfortable, cared for, and surrounded by enthusiasm and love the entire time I was in her boutique and she even communicated with me on her days off to let me come in by myself to make my final decision. I found my GORGEOUS and perfect lovely dress here!! Her selections are so much more unique and well made compared to the other bridal shops in town. Very attentive to what you ask for, such as for me I said I did not want sleeves and I love sparkles- out she pulled was a lovely variety of sleeveless sparkly dresses to try on to my heart’s content! so many veils to choose from as well. Her suggested veil went so so so well with my dress, along with the hair vine she asked if I wanted to try with it that I got both! Along with these AMAZING add-on beaded beautiful intricate bridal shoulder pauldrons that I LOVE SO MUCH they are the perfect finishing touch to my oh so perfect dress!! She’s a fantastic resource for any wedding-related questions you might have too! I’d recommend her in a heartbeat over any other bridal shop. Hands down. I thought I was going to need to fly down to Seattle to find what I wanted, but thankfully a coworker recommended Orainda! I cannot wait for my fiancé to see me in my dress and to marry him in it 🥰 (Orainda even gave me suggestions on how to continue to enjoy my dress post-wedding; like having the bottom hemmed into a pencil skirt length!)

This place was absolutely amazing. I loved the owner and all the advice she gave for my wedding. Visit this local shop. I’m plus size and she had dresses in my size to try on. It was intimate and comfortable. I was able to purchase a “floor” gown that fit like a glove. I will always recommend Orainda’s to any bride.

This was our last stop of the day when shopping for a prom dress for my daughter and as soon as she saw the one in the window she loved it! The trying on experience was lovely, the owner was very helpful, the store was clean and bright/welcoming, and the store pupper was the most adorable one I have ever seen in life! Orainda is one amazing person! This bridal boutique is a must visit for all upcoming brides. All dresses are unique and nothing like you can find at david’s bridal. She is extremely helpful when finding the YES dress. She sets you up with everything you need and all the information you could imagine. I have never been so pleased to work with someone. Her dresses are beautiful and affordable! Her boutique is very comfortable and homey unlike any other places I visited. When you walk in this shop you are her everything, she focuses on you as a person individually not a group of random shoppers all at once. She’s got the skills and knowledge you need to get your wedding planning started. I cannot express the amount of gratitude I have for Orainda and everything she did to help me find the perfect dress (that I never in a million years saw myself wearing). She offers discounts too, for a small Alaska owned business that’s amazing! I would highly suggest making this your first stop when looking for a dress, as this will be your first and last stop (time saver)! Orainda is such a special person in general, just being able to meet her brings a smile to my face. Please before making any decisions on a dress GO SEE ORAINDA’S BRIDAL! She is conveniently located in midtown with ample parking for your wedding party. She will make your dreams come true, without a doubt!

Extremely positive experience. Orainda’s is full of experience, advice, and help when you’re looking for your dress for your perfect day. Heads up: if your religion/beliefs require you to have specific modest qualities I highly recommend visiting her. She has access to those dresses and is more than happy to help find that perfect dress. My experience was helpful. She answers questions you never even thought about. She gives you her full attention and listens to you.

Orainda is SO amazing! I had a good feeling I was going to have a great experience at her shop because before my appointment, I received an email survey asking about my dress preferences and my wedding. It only got better from there! The moment I walked in to her shop, she was very friendly. I knew she genuinely cared about helping me find the right dress. She was so helpful and patient. She had remembered what I wrote on my survey! After trying on several dresses, I found the perfect one that was everything I wanted. She helped me get an idea for the complete look with hair accessories, a veil, and even a bouquet! I ordered the dress and got a nice gift bag and 10% with her "Hero" discount. What a great way to make a teacher feel appreciated! She has dresses that are not only beautiful but also reasonably priced. Her dressing room was nice and comfortable and the whole shop has a really cute decor. I really enjoyed my dress shopping experience. Don't bother going to the other bridal shops in town, their service isn't even close! After going to David's and Anderson's, I was losing hope and was considering buying a dress online but then I found out about Orainda's and I'm so glad!!! I plan on getting my bridesmaid's dresses there too.

If I could give 5+ stars, I would! Orainda is absolutely wonderful! She's helpful, informative, kind and comfortable to be around. I was originally scheduled to go to David's Bridals first, however, after reading Orainda's outstanding reviews I switched to go to Orainda's first and boy did she not disappoint! I was able to find the perfect dress first time in and canceled my David's Bridal appointment. She has been in the wedding industry for years and know her way around weddings and is very informative. I could not brag about her any more! A coworker of mine went to Orainda's based of my raving and too found her wedding dress with Orainda and was just as impressed I was. Thank you Orainda! :)

I had gone to David’s bridal first and the help was nice but the dresses had no variety and I had seen all of my friends in almost every dress I was interested in & we only got through 4 dresses. I had my second appointment of the day at Oraindas, tried on more dresses than I could count, & after picking & choosing what I loved about certain dresses Orainda was able to pull a dress I never ever would have looked twice at & it was the one for me! Orainda was so helpful, friendly, informative, went above & beyond to help me find my wedding dress & veil. The boutique offered a variety of one of a kind & gorgeous choices. If my wedding was an annual event, I’d pick Oraindas bridal boutique each everytime!

She was so knowledgeable and bent over backwards to accommodate all my wishes and quirks. She gave me the wedding dress experience I always dreamed of. The dresses are absolutely beautiful, and are much more elegant than anything I've seen in Anchorage. Definitely worth the stop! I recommend making an appointment so you have enough time to try on what you want.

She listened to me. She was honest. She worked seamlessly within my budget and connected me with the perfect dress. The dress that was meant for me. I absolutely loved working with her and recommend that anyone in our community that is looking to receive the best customer service and stellar advice about dresses (of every kind!) first go to Orainda's! I wanted to add that Orainda also provided me with a TON of amazing advice about other parts of my wedding. I found out during our conversation that she was a wedding planner for many years, so she has so much knowledge that she openly and joyfully shares. She answered questions for me that I didn't even know I needed to ask. This is my first time getting married, and I really appreciate that she went above and beyond to help me have the best wedding day possible. That's the thing that makes her stand out above all the others... she truly cares about people and loves what she does. Also! I was on the fence about buying a veil. Orainda showed me one earlier that fit perfectly with my dress, but I didn't buy it at the time because I wasn't sure I wanted a veil. I ended up really wanting a veil and rushed over to Orainda's with my friend. Orainda remembered me, with ease, and remembered which veil I was talking about, even though she has a huge selection of veils. She remembers you and remembers what you care about. It's a gift of hers and speaks to her commitment to her customers. I don't write a lot of reviews. Honestly, because I so often get lackluster customer service, but I had to write one for Orainda. She's special. Her store is special. You will feel extra special if you work with her.
