Hill City Church is such a sweet and welcoming environment. I’ve been attending less than a year but I feel I’ve already learned so much about the Bible. I love when Pastor Dave is covering a story in the Bible I think I know pretty well and I end up learning so much more because of how in depth and thorough he is with his teachings. The way he breaks it down makes it so easy to retain. Not to mention the worship is AMAZING! I tend to be in a rush to church so I love they always have me coffee and breakfast to enjoy when I arrive. I’ve made some forever friends at Hill City and I’m so grateful I found this Gem in Tampa. If you’re looking for a Christian community to grow with I highly recommend visiting Hill City Church.

My first time coming here was a pleasant experience! I had just separated from another church due to location, and everyone was so welcoming! The pastor is very knowledgeable and wise beyond his years. There is also a Korean service aside from the English service. There’s multiple ethnicities here ranging from Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, Korean, American, etc. everyone is welcome here. There is always free breakfast and lunch served here and free beverages. I am very happy that this was my first place I visited and I ended up staying here permanently. Love this church!

Just want to extend an invitation to visit Hill City Church. God is bringing together a really amazing community of followers of Jesus. The worship is so spiritually encouraging and we are serious about the word of God. People are not neglected and there is always multiple opportunities to serve God. I am Dave. Hill City is an up-and-coming church built up of people who sincerely love God. The people here are smart, faithful, and incredibly talented. But perhaps because the church is multicultural, everyone is also humble and welcoming. The church then somehow manages to couple the excitement of a young startup with the Biblical teaching of a seminary. The church has stayed open for every Sunday that it was legally able to during the pandemic... which I respect, and am very grateful for. All of these things are especially appreciated because as a working professional, I have learned how difficult it is to find real Christian community. After college in New York and work in Korea, I landed in Tampa needing friends. I have found those, and so much more here. Hill City has brought me accountability to protect my heart, unique opportunities to grow my creative talents for God, and far too many blessings to count. It is a privilege to be part of this body, and I cannot wait to see how God continues to grow its influence!

Great place to learn more about the Bible in-depth since Pastor Dave walks through every single verse thoroughly, and even explains what original Greek and Hebrew words were used. Plus, the worship team here is amazing. The beautiful music is made with the utmost care and devotion for God and for His people, and so not only does it sound amazing, but it's super powerful. During the pandemic, the church has been putting together a livestream through the Hill City Church YouTube channel, but in-person services are still available every Sunday at 11 am. The church staff is disinfecting the place every week which is comforting. If you can come out to the church in-person, I highly recommend it. But if not, then give the livestream a try until you can come out to meet everyone's friendly faces in person.
