The building is a very restored cigar factory from the hey day of Tampa Cigars. The local culture is very evident and it's been beautifully preserved. There's a great little cadmfe inside etc... The services are valuable in so many ways. If you want to be happier, more productive, have better relationships, smarter more able children, success in life and business etc... I can't recommend it highly enough!

Great historic building with some historic artifacts from the Cuban Heritage of the property as a cigar factory. Friendly Scientologist staff that will guide you to see some of the buildings history. Also a great place to get a basic understanding of Scientology and the Scientology mission/philosophy/religion. A no pressure environment as this organization does not aggressively recruit, they simply educate and allow you to decide to pursue them. Ron L Hubbard also is a great author and wrote many resources you can purchase here to help you through life and have a better understanding of the world and how to effectively interact with it. Many excellent books can be purchased here that may change your life or simply help you at a time of need. Anyone is free to enter and explore Scientology or just the history of the property. (Note: I am not a Scientologist but I love to learn and I do find the writing's of Ron L Hubbard helpful and effective)

This is a very friendly and purposeful local church with a worldwide reach. Very grounded in the local community and international at the same time. My children have performed here and I've attended several events, functions, and services Always a great time in a high-energy organization. Large-scale improvement doesn't happen without lots of communication, intention, and purpose. You will find all three here.

Also got to do a personality test which was kind of eye opening. The staff here have been awesome and super helpful. Not sure what the other guy was talking about in his review, as I got all my questions answered, and the course I did was like 50 bucks. Definitely didn't "steal all my money," as one person said, and I had a great time there, too.

This is one of the top producing churches in all over the world. The staff here have always provided the service and materials needed to become a more able person. I remember first coming here back in 2015. I recall being intimidated by all the negative things I heard. I came to find out it wasn't true, they want to see you handle the thing (s) you need to solved. And they are here to listen and help if you are still having trouble.

Every church espouses a way to better life. Buddhism, Hinduism,the early Christians, etc. all teach a better way to live. Scientology is the only religion that actually shows you step by step how to have a better life, what to do to get it. It is amazing. Yes, they are a little zealous in their pursuit to reach people, but no more than any other religion in it's infancy. Remember your history lessons of the first Christians? They, too, were called a cult and they, too, were zealous to spread their beliefs. And as with every other religion you do not have to believe in every tenant to get the good out of the religion. In other words you do not have to believe in aliens. Scientology does not require you to believe in aliens or to loose your belief in God, they just teach how to have a better life. It is amazing. If you want to accomplish things and not live your life under the burden of bad you experienced earlier in life, Scientology has methods to help you. They help me!

Awesome place to stop and visit. If you want to a quick and concise peek into Tampa's history, this is it. The building itself is a historic cigar factory-- the church preserved all the old architecture and some of the artifacts from the factory. They give free tours all day long 7 days a week to anyone who stops by! Plus, the Scientology religions is very interesting and the staff are very friendly in answering any questions. If you are a curious individual, you will enjoy this.

Prior to visiting my whole perception of Scientology was south park. Needless to say I was wrong. It has a big focus on psychology. It mentioned classical psychology and behaviorism just not by those labels. The founder actually made a book called dianetics and it's been the best selling book on mental-health for over 25 years. If you have some time go for a visit the staff is nice.

During the daytime, this is a great place to visit with a family. There are a ton of really cool historic landmarks that you can learn a lot about the area scattered all around. It kind of became like a really cool history scavenger hunt for us one day when we were killing some time. There are also plenty of great options for food. The chickens walking around during the day are just hysterical to my one year old. We had a really nice afternoon with the family-great place to check out if you're in the area.

They have a public outreach program that is very effective. My friend Nikki runs a group of professional counselors that will do 5 one hour long sessions for a $125 donation. They also let a local couple rent the space for their wedding-it was beautiful!
