They were able to ordain me online, provided me with some very helpful materials and through their sample ceremonies provided the groundwork for my ceremony. I was asked to officiate my sister in law and now husband’s wedding. Wasn’t sure how to go about that, but was recommended to check out Universal life church. Looked over their website, and it looked way simpler than expected. Became ordained in a ridiculously short amount of time. Basic ordination was really inexpensive, but I paid for a larger package, so I could guarantee I had everything I needed. The package I ordered showed up 3 days later. I really appreciated the included guide on tips for officiating weddings, things to discuss with the couple before the ceremony, a literal map of how a wedding party enters, and the different types of speeches for a multitude of different wedding styles. I felt way more confident in officiating the wedding after reading the guide. If I had to buy it all again, I definitely would.

I became an officiant with Universal Life Church for my nieces daughter‘s wedding in October 2022 I have had nothing but wonderful experiences and support from the website. I highly recommend that if you are invited to do as I was and that is to be invited to officiate that you use this site. They have everything you need to prepare for a wedding or a funeral or a baptism or any of the things where you might need a little help. They also have outlines for services that will help you as well. That is why I gave a five star rating.

I got my online ordination in order to legally officiate my best friends' wedding in California. The process was quick and easy through Universal Life Church and the literature provide was very useful. I must confess that I felt slightly uncomfortable at first referring to myself as a "minister" since I totally lacked formal training and a degree in theology. However, since I am a Christian and I truly believe that following Christ involves ministering to others and spreading God's word, I guess all Christians really are "ministers" in God's kingdom; therefore, I have decided to embrace my title/ordination. We had a mayor marry us and I finally said, I can do that and I can. Ordination was simple. The readings and help is wonderful. I paid extra for a wedding guide. When God calls you, you obey the calling. He has called me to preach the Gospel. It's man needing a piece of paper to make official ceremonies. Official, ie weddings, etc. I don't need a college degree to spread the word of Christ to his children, all I need is the Holy Bible and the love Jesus Christ has for me. As a tenured university professor, I was positioned to ordain thousands of “willing students” who were easily converted to the Universal Life Church, especially during the Vietnam War. Bishop Kirby Hensley, (the ULC’s Originator) had ordained 25,000 Ohio State University students (1968, or thereabouts) — so that if they were drafted into military service, they’d have to be trained to become chaplains, then given the officers rank of a captain. (A Wall Street Journal front page news article - which resulted in my becoming a ULC Bishop, with a ULC DD — whose ordained 1000’s of individuals since then.) Check out the New York Times Sunday edition, the section that has the stories of a 1/2 dozen, or so, wedded couples — most of whom would be considered non-traditional. If and when you do — you should find about 1/2 of these weddings were preformed by ULC ministers. Save a few of the related stories to show your intended potential ULC ministers.

I am a store manager, I hired a great candidate for a position. I didn't know I was going to have such heart for her. Over the year she had been planning her forever union with a most amazing guy. Since being ordained, I've traveled all across the country getting stimulus money for the homeless, your ordination credentials gets you in places that mere mortal man cannot tread. Car accident or other police matters. Show your credentials and lanyard as you cross over the police tape at a crime scene. Someone might need last rites, well your qualified and kind of licensed to do so. Make a difference! Become ordained!

I became ordained by ULC in 2018. They have provided a monthly newsletter which provides a person relevant information and support to those ordained through the ULC. Many couples wishing to marry have chosen a different non-church wedding, due to multiple reasons. Being ordained has provided me with many opportunities to write specialized ceremonies focusing on each couple, and to meet many wonderful couples and families. If you are even considering becoming ordained remember that this job is to be taken seriously from the ceremony to following the law for the state and/or county.

My sister wanted to get married on a beach in California, but couldn’t find any priest who would do the ceremony for her. After seeing a ULC Monastery minister get ordained and perform a wedding on TV, I logged into their site and got ordained in just a couple of minutes. I called their office to find out what I needed and they gave me all the legal info and sent me a packet of official documents. I even got a Minister t-shirt! My sister loved that I could be a part of the wedding (our other sister was her maid of honor) and that it got to be exactly the way she wanted. The ULC ordained me for free, and without their help the wedding may not have happened. I’ve since performed two more weddings, and have another one booked for next month. I can’t wait!

Parking is very bad. Staff is friendly and nice This is just the distribution place. And less of an office. I think most of the stuff the sell is online. For people making deliverys there is a bay door in back be warned though a big truck parks right in the way.

Shortly after I was ordained, I was asked to officiate a slightly unusual marriage. A friend's granddaughter had met her fiance at a skating rink, so off we went in our socks (shoes not allowed) to hold the ceremony in the middle of the rink. It was slippery! I had been able to get some tidbits of information about the couple, and they appreciated the gentle humor I injected. They're now 9 years married and still going strong!
