Steve NewtonA culturally diverse and multi-generational congregation, perhaps surprising in the heart of Green Hills. Medium size with something for all ages, lots of families, singles, and seniors. Solid uncompromised Bible teaching and life application without being overbearing. A big emphasis on missions, both local and international. A Swahili speaking congregation of mostly recent immigrants meets at the same time. Dress varies from casual to suits and music style is a blend, sometimes with the choir and sometimes with a praise team, and occasionally orchestra for special services. Simple Worship is a smaller, more intimate contemporary gathering on Wednesday evenings.
Braden MaphetGreat church with kind, genuine people! I came here after moving to Nashville and immediately felt welcome and part of a community. I was a little nervous trying a new church, but the greeters and congregation got rid of any anxiety quickly. People are down to earth and easy to talk to. The sermons jumped out at me the most. The teaching is biblical truth and the pastor was approachable. Got to chat with him after the sermon. He was a normal guy that knows a lot about scripture. I met lots of friendly people whom I could tell were serious about their faith. The whole place had a strong community vibe to it. Also, it sounds like they do a lot of wonderful community service the more I look into it. I hate “church shopping”, but regardless, I came in a bit skeptical (out of past experience with other churches) but I left impressed with the thought of “this is what biblical community is supposed to feel like” after a week or two. They’ll keep seeing my face around.
Katie Todd BryantWe had the honor of using this beautiful church for our wedding ceremony in July. The church staff were so hospitable and knowledgeable when it came to all of my questions. Their sanctuary is stunning and the people inside of it are delightful. From what I can tell the people there are genuine and truly care about helping the community too.

Logan NewtonWoodmont is a group of people that are seeking to be transformed by Christ and to see God move in the community. This congregation is warm and welcoming, whether is is your first time in a church or you have been a part of gospel community for many years. Scriptural teaching is found each week on Sunday mornings, along with musical worship and small groups that help build relationships centered in Jesus.
