Reviews of Grace in the City Church

Amazing place of worship that feeds the hungry with more than just simply bread alone, but with the Word of God.
Charles Depietri (Pastor Charles)
This place is surrounded with love and humility. The patrons of the church are all God fearing and loving souls. The Pastor is young active and full of the spirit. Sermons are a Blessing and he is knowledgeable in the affairs of the soul. Also after service a communal meal is served which helps to bring people closer together in the church. It's a loving caring environment at Grace in the City. I recommend it to all looking for Christ

This is my before (on right) and after (on left) photo… i struggled with homelessness and a horrible meth addicts in the very very COLD streets of MINNEAPOLIS! I’ve been clean two years now however has I not had this place to stay warm be fed and get resources I might not be here today!!! I’m so grateful!! It was at that time called the hub with a connected church called grace in the city. HUB stood for ‘helping you become’… grace in the city… This place has truly done that for me!! Thank you

This is one of the most amazing places to get a cup of coffee or tea and a bite to eat. It is essentially a Church located in a coffee shop and as well as being a place that is designed for worship it creates its worshipping everytime someone orders a latte chia tea with milk... This place caters to a segment of the population that would otherwise not be able to patronize other establishments do to economical conditions. Thank you! Grace in the City!
This place is ran off of donations and by volunteers so please respect it's intentions and leave all of the hood ways of our past outside the door.

The HUB is an awesome thing. Great food and great coffee plus a great atmosphere for the homeless. Unlike many places designed to help the homeless there is no blatant drunkeness here and it doesnt feel like a jail, or rather its not dehumanizing. The pastor is a wonderful fella and Ian in parficular is an amazing barisya and theyre both great for having a conversation about ones spiritualiry or spirituality in general with. Theyre non denominational so they arent going to try and "convert you" which is great for me because i follow a traditional native american (Anishinaabe) spirituality while maintaining core Christian values and the story and teachings of Christ. I called there today after months and the pastor knew who i was by my voice immediately. I have this place to thank as it was instrumental in getting me out of homelessness by providing a safe warm environment for me and my young wife to make plans and concentrate our efforts on getting off the streets and starting our life together. Thank you Grace in the City. - Matthew Demler, former regular @ the HUB 1/19 - 4/19
