Andrew MeyerOur path to visit Central is a little unusual. Our family is technically a member of another metro ELCA church from which we’ve drifted over the years. Blake, our youngest son - and musician - was connected by his band teacher to Central Organist, Cantor, and Deacon Mark Sedio. You see, Blake’s many interests include the pipe organ, and Mr. Sedio was a willing mentor on the instrument. We attended Easter vigil and morning services. Mark was so welcoming. Moreover, the services and messages were amazing. It was such a friendly and welcoming environment. And what a beautiful sanctuary.
Brenda GilsrudHistoric Lutheran Church (ELCA) in the very heart of Minneapolis. Fantastic acoustics for concerts and church services. New addition makes it modern in the narthex, and old world in the sanctuary. Be prepared for a Holy experience as you gaze up and around at the architecture. Wonderful asset to the community.
Tina SBeautiful old church recently remodeled. Homeless ministry amongst others. Enjoyed the Augsburg Christmas Concert here. Beautiful setting.

Johnmoe P (Johnmoe)Beautiful church! We drive 100 miles to get a chance to worship there. (Mainly Easter and Christmas) makes the holidays so much more meaningful. Not too many churches left with choirs and organ music.
Michael PearsonCentral Lutheran Church is a beautiful church. They were offering Covid booster shots. No appointment was needed. Staff was pleasant & professional. The church was such a nice place to get vaccinated. They were also offering other services to the community which made the time spent there a wonderful experience.

Don DanfordThis is part of our annual tradition. It is really a good start for the real reason for the season. They have all of the choirs from the University. A sight to see. If you like religious music this is for you.
